1.1 Appearance
The ISCOM6800 is an xPON incorporate optical access device developed by Raisecom,
accessing high-capacity, high-speed, and high-bandwidth data, voice, and video services to
meet carriers' requirements on the xPON construction concept, namely, "high capacity, few
offices".
Figure 1-1 shows the appearance of the ISCOM6800.

1.2 Structure
The ISCOM6800 adopts the chassis+card modular design to facilitate customers to choose the
quantity of downlink/uplink cards and card types flexibly. Moreover, it supports network
expansion based on redundant slots and service expansion based on new service cards.
The ISCOM6800 chassis provides high-speed digital backplane bus, 22 slots, bracket, anti-
static jack, and so on.
Figure 1-2 shows the ISCOM6800 chassis.
