It should be considered a permanent part of your equipment and remain with the
equipment at all times for easy reference.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
RELOADING SAFETY
NOTICE - This manual is not intended to provide comprehensive instructions or safety
information on how to reload, or handle or use reloading components. Always read and
thoroughly understand a reloading manual before attempting to reload ammunition.
Reloading is an enjoyable and rewarding hobby when conducted safely. But, as with many hobbies,
carelessness or negligence can make reloading hazardous. This case polisher will add to the quality of
your reloaded ammunition. It has been designed from the beginning with the user’s safety in mind.
As with any mechanical device, some safety rules must be followed. When reloading, always follow these
safety guidelines to minimize the risk of personal injury or death.
• Always wear safety glasses.
• Understand what you are doing and why. Read handbooks and manuals on reloading. Talk to
experienced reloaders. Write or call suppliers of equipment or components if you have questions
or are in doubt.
• Read and understand all warnings and instructions accompanying your equipment and
components. If you do not have written instructions, request a copy from the manufacturer. Keep
instructions for future reference.
• Do not rush or take short cuts. Establish a routine and follow it at a leisurely pace.
• Keep complete records of reloads. Label each box showing the date produced, and the type of
primer, powder and bullet used.
• Do not smoke while reloading, or reload near sources of heat, sparks or flame.
• Observe good housekeeping in the reloading area. Keep tools and components neat, clean and
orderly. Promptly and completely clean up any spills.
• Keep your hands and fingers away from “danger” spots and pinch-points where they might be
injured.

2
• Keep all reloading equipment and components out of reach of children.
• Keep all packing material out of reach of children.
• This device is not intended for use by individuals with restricted physical, sensory or mental
capacities or those with a lack of experience and/or knowledge, including children, unless they
are supervised by an individual who is responsible for their safety or have received training in
operating the device.
• Stay alert. Reload only when you can give your undivided attention. Do not reload when tired, ill,
rushed or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
PRIMER AND POWDER WARNINGS
DANGER! DO NOT TUMBLE/CLEAN CARTRIDGE CASES OR AMMUNITION CONTAINING
LIVE PRIMERS AND/OR POWDER.
The vibrating action of the Case Polisher can break down the structure of the powder
kernels and priming mix. This may lead to an unsafe ignition of the cartridge or
possible misfire.
LOADING DATA
• Use only laboratory tested reloading data. We highly recommend the current SPEER Reloading
Manual.
OBSERVE ALL WARNINGS ABOUT THE USE OF MAXIMUM LISTED LOADS.
WORKING WITH CARTRIDGE CASES
• Examine empty cases to be sure they are in good condition before reloading. Thin, split,
deformed, or badly corroded or pitted cases may be structurally weak, and result in a dangerous
condition. Pay particular attention to splits in the mouth, separation between the case and the
head, and dents in the shoulder.
• Do not store cartridge cases or ammunition near harsh chemicals such as gasoline, household
cleaners or cat urine. The fumes can weaken the metal and present a dangerous condition.
• Do not clean cases with chemicals other than those specifically designed for the purpose.
• Do not attempt to clean loaded ammunition or primed cases. Doing so can cause corrosion, and
weaken the case, or cause a misfire/hangfire condition.
• Ensure cases have proper primer pocket sizes; remove primer staking/crimp if necessary.
Attempting to seat a primer into an undersized pocket or pocket with staking/crimping can
result in detonation.
• Do not ream out or enlarge flash holes of cartridge cases. This may change the ignition rate and
result in dangerous pressures.
• Resize and trim fired cases to ensure reliable chambering and obtain proper bullet tension and
crimp.
• Never attempt to guess at the identity of your ammunition.
Because RCBS®has no control over the choice, assembly or use of
components or other reloading equipment, RCBS assumes no liability,
expressed or implied, for the use of ammunition reloaded with this product.

• Never use unit if power cord becomes damaged.
• Never attempt to disassemble unit.
• Always use on a flat level surface.
• Always disconnect power cord before adjusting, cleaning, setup, etc.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
INTRODUCTION
The RCBS Vibratory Case Polisher has been designed specifically for cleaning and polishing a large
quantity of cartridge cases quickly and efficiently. Features of the case polisher includes a 1.5 gallon
(6.0 l) working capacity heavy duty bowl, wide, stable base and a quiet fan-cooled, sealed ball-bearing
motor. This case polisher is shipped completely assembled and by following these instructions should
provide safe, maintenance-free operation.
UNPACKING
Unpack the case polisher and take a few minutes to review these instructions and familiarize yourself
with the various parts of the polisher.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
After unpacking the case polisher, set the unit on a solid, level surface to operate. Remove the case
polisher lid by unscrewing the wingnut located in the center of the lid. Set aside both the solid lid and
the sifting lid.
The cleaning bowl is engineered to create a fast internal cyclonic action. For best results, the bowl
should be at least half-full with dry media. Then, load with cases. The unit will hold 14 pounds of
material. The best ratio of cases and media will be determined by you as you use the unit. Replace the
solid lid and tighten the wingnut in the center of the lid. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical
outlet, turn the on/off switch to the “on” position and the unit will start the vibrating action. Run time
will be determined by the condition of the cases and the degree of “shine/polish” desired.
To empty the bowl, first turn the unit off and unplug the power cord. Then remove the lid by unscrewing
the wingnut in the center of the lid. Next, simply turn the entire unit upside down and drain the contents
into a container or box. You can also replace the lid with the provided sifting lid. This will allow you to
pour out the media from the bowl while keeping the cases inside the bowl.
Separating the media from the cases can be made easier with the use of the 87076 Rotary Case Media
Separator or the 87075 Case Media Sifter, both sold separately.
Do not attempt to make any adjustments or repairs to the electrical system of the Vibratory Case
Polisher. Contact the Customer Service Department at RCBS for this service.

5
CAPACITY
The bowl of the case polisher has a total capacity of 14 pounds. This is the combined total weight of
cases AND cleaning media. Do not exceed this amount as it causes unnecessary strain on the motor,
will extend the time is takes to polish the cases and shorten the life of the unit.
It is easiest to control load size by weight versus volume. For example:
This photo shows a properly loaded case polisher. The amount of dry media will be determined by the
type and quantity of cases.
1.0 Pound Reference
Qty Ammo
110 9mm cases
80 .45 ACP cases
75 .223 Rem cases
35 .30-06 cases

AVAILABLE ACCESSORIES
RCBS 87076 Rotary Case/Media Separator
In short order, separate the cleaned cases from the
cleaning media. Merely empty the cases and media
from the case polisher into the separator basket. With
several turns of the basket handle, the media falls to
the bottom of the separator, leaving the cases clean
and ready to use. The fine dust from the media is
trapped inside the separator.
Features:
• Easily separates cleaned cases from cleaning
media
• Heavy-duty plastic construction
• Capacity of 180 .30-06 cases or 400 38 Special
cases with media
RCBS 87075 Case Media Sifter
Quickly and easily separate the cleaning media from the cleaned cases.
First dump the cleaned cases and media into a bucket. Next attach the
Media Sifter to the Vibratory Case Polisher and turn on the polisher.
Slowly pour the cases and media into the media sifter. Allow the Case
Polisher to run until all the media is emptied back into the bowl—then
it’s ready for the next time cases need cleaning.
