I. ALGEMENE INFORMATIE
De compacte externe ontvanger, type MINI, is ontwikkeld voor het aansturen van garagedeuren, hekken,
rolluiken en andere typen automatiseringen waarbij een besturing moet worden toegepast. De MINI biedt
een simpele manier om een automatisering uit te breiden met afstandsbediening. Dankzij de geringe
afmetingen kan de ontvanger in een inbouwdoos met diameter Φ60 of bij de besturing van de
automatisering gemonteerd worden.

III. INSTALLATIE
De ontvanger is bedoeld voor toepassing in droge ruimten en past in een inbouwdoos met diameter Φ60
of groter. De ontvanger kan ook in de behuizing van de besturing worden gemonteerd. Houd bij de
installatie rekening met de technische specificaties van de ontvanger. Plaats de ontvanger niet in een
vochtige omgeving of omgeving waar plotselinge temperatuurverschillen plaatsvinden. Omdat de
aansluitklemmen van buiten bereikbaar zijn dient een galvanische scheiding van overige componenten
voorzien te zijn, zeker wanneer de ontvanger bij de besturing ingebouwd wordt. Zorg ervoor dat de
ontvanger en bedrading niet tegen componenten liggen welke heet worden (bijvoorbeeld:
transfomatoren, motoren, actuatoren of bedieningselemanten). De elektrische aansluiting dient
uitgevoerd te worden conform aeelding 1.
Denk bij de plaatsbepaling van de ontvanger aan het volgende:
źnegatief effect op de antenne door stroomvoerende delen en metalen objecten
źnegatief effect op het bereik door externe bronnen
źnegatief effect op bereik door gebouwen, isolatiematerialen of versterkte betoonen muren of vloeren
źvermindering van het bereik als gevolg van een praktisch lege batterij
źverhogen van het bereik door de antenne hoger te plaatsen
De ontvanger wordt vanuit de fabriek geleverd met een draadantenne.
De automatisering dient op de geselcteerde uitgang van de ontvanger aangesloten te worden. Als de
auromatisering een normaal open (NO) contact nodig heeft, dient deze aangesloten te worden op de
klemmen NO en C. Als een normaal gesloten (NC) contact nodig is, dient deze aangesloten te worden op
NC en C van de 1e uitgang.
Wanneer de voeding 12...24Vac/dc aangesloten is, knipperen de LED's C1 en C2 cyclisch en simultaan.
Tijdens bediening wordt elke activering van een kanaal weergegeven door de bijbehorende LED (C1 of C2).

IV. ONTVANGER PROGRAMMEREN
De ontvanger heeft de mogelijkheid om een aantal parameters in te stellen. Kijk voor het programmeren
naar aeelding 1 om de knoppen C1 en C2 en de LED's te lokaliseren.
De ontvanger sluit het programmeren automatisch af als er 45 sconden geen activiteit heeft
plaats gevonden.
1. Zender toevoegen
Om een zender in het geheugen van de ontvanger op te slaan, druk de knop van de gewenste uitgang (C1 of
C2) in en houd deze ingedrukt. De bijbehorende LED (C1 of C2) licht op. Druk op de gewenste knop
van de zender. Als de zender succesvol in het geheugen is opgeslagen knippert de bijbehorende LED
(C1 of C2) en gaat deze uit.
2. Zenders uit het geheugen verwijderen
Om een zender uit het geheugen te verwijderen, druk knoppen C1 en C2 tegelijk in en houd deze ingedrukt.
De LED's C1 + C2 + MOM + MONO + BIST gaan knipperen, druk nu op een knop van de zender welke
verwijderd moet worden. Als de zender succesvol is verwijderd knippert LED C1.
Wanneer de knoppen C1 en C2 te lang (langer dan 14 seconden) ingedrukt worden, zal het hele
geheugen verwijderd worden.

3. Zender op afstand toevoegen
Met deze functie kan een zender worden toegevoegd zonder fysieke toegang tot de ontvanger. Om een
zender succesvol op afstand toe te kunnen voegen dient de zender binnen bereik van de ontvanger te zijn
en dient er al één of meedere zender geprogrammeerd te zijn.
Deze functie is alleen verkrijgbaar voor zenders van RDA.
Om op afstand een zender in het geheugen te programmeren, druk (binnen het bereik van de ontvanger)
eerst gedurende 15 seconden op een knop van een reeds aangeleerde zender, druk binnen 3 seconden
gedurende 15 seconden op een knop van de aan te leren zender.
Het programmeren van een zender op afstand is niet ter beschikking als:
źde uitgang met een tijd is geprogrammeerd,
źHet geheugen geblokkerd is,
źzenders van een ander merk worden gebruikt,
źserviceblockade ingesteld is.
Onsuccesvol zenders toevoegen kan veroorzaakt worden door:
źte lage batterij spanning van één van de zenders,
źexterne storing tijdens de programmering,
źgeheugen van de ontvanger is vol (maximaal 200 zenders).

4. Blokkeren/deblokkeren van het toevoegen van zenders
Om te voorkomen dat zenders zonder toestemming in het geheugen geprogrammeerd worden (vooral
belangrijk in situaties met beschermde toegang) kan de aanleerprocedure geblokkeerd worden.
Om het toevoegen van zenders te blokkeren/deblokkeren, druk tegelijk knoppen C1 en C2 ein en laat knop
C2 los. Na 5 seconden knipperen LED's C1 en C2 afwisselend elke 5 seconden. Laat knop C1 los om:
źLED C1 aan is (nieuwe zenders opslaan blokkeren)
źLED C2 aan is (nieuwe zenders opslaan deblokkeren)
Als knop C1 binnen 5 seconden na het loslaten van knop C2 los wordt gelaten wordt de procedure
afgebroken zonder opslag van aanpassingen.

5. Service slot. Toevoegen/verwijderen van een "master" zender.
Het serviceslot is een functie die de werking van afstandsbedieningen die aan de ontvanger zijn
toegevoegd blokkeert voor de duur van bijv. onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan de installatie.
Als het slot wordt geactiveerd zal de ontvanger niet reageren op een signaal van de zenders. Om het
serviceslot te activeren, is het nodig om een "master" zender aan de ontvanger toe te voegen. Het
toevoegen van "master" zenders is onaankelijk van het toevoegen van zender om de kanalen te
bedienen. De "master" zender kan zowel worden gebruikt om kanalen te bedienen als om het serviceslot
te activeren. Er kunnen maximaal 5 "master" zenders bij de ontvanger worden ingevoerd om het
serviceslot in / uit te schakelen.
Om een "master" zender toe te voegen / te verwijderen, drukt u op de knop C1 of C2. De LED C1 of C2 gaat
branden, evenals de LED die de momenteel ingestelde MOM / MONO / BIST-modus aangeeft. Druk
herhaaldelijk op de knop C1 of C2 om de LED LOCK te laten branden. De LED LOCK zal knipperen.
Houd gedurende deze tijd de knop van de zender 3 seconden ingedrukt. Het toevoegen van de
"master" zender wordt aangegeven door het knipperen van LED C1, terwijl het verwijderen van de
"master" zender wordt aangegeven door het knipperen van LED C2.
Het wordt aanbevolen om de "master" zender niet aan de ontvanger te koppelen en deze alleen
te gebruiken om de servicevergrendeling in / uit te schakelen.
6. Activeren / deactiveren van serviceslot
Om het serviceslot activeren / deactiveren, is een "master" zender nodig. Om het serviceslot te activeren /
deactiveren, drukt u binnen het bereik van de ontvanger vijf keer, binnen niet meer dan 5 seconden, op een
willekeurige knop van de "master" zender. De activering van het slot wordt aangegeven doordat de LED
LOCK aangaat, de deactivering van het slot wordt aangegeven door het uitgaan van de LED LOCK.
Het serviceslot is verwijderd als de ontvanger is geformatteerd.

7. De bedrijfsmodus van het uitgangskanaal instellen op monostabiel.
Om de kanaalbedrijfsmodus op monostabiel in te stellen, drukt u één keer op de knop van het
geselecteerde kanaal C1 of C2. De rode LED C1 of C2 gaat branden en de gele LED geeft de momenteel
ingestelde bedrijfsmodus van het kanaal aan. Door herhaaldelijk op de knop C1 / C2 te drukken, stelt u de
monostabiele modus in, aangegeven door een gele LED met de beschrijving MONO. Houd de knop C1 of
C2 nogmaals ingedrukt om te bevestigen. De LED met de omschrijving MONO gaat uit en begint na enige
tijd te knipperen. Terwijl u de knop C1 of C2 ingedrukt houdt, telt u het gewenste aantal knipperingen en
laat u de knop C1 of C2p los. Het aantal keren dat LED MONO knippert betekent de kanaalactiveringstijd in
seconden of minuten wanneer na het loslaten van de knop, terwijl LED C1 of C2 knippert, de knop C1 of C2
even wordt ingedrukt. Om de AAN-tijd in te stellen op 0,5 s, laat u de knop C1 of C2 los voordat de gele LED
met MONO-beschrijving voor het eerst knippert.

8. De bedrijfsmodus van het uitgangskanaal instellen op bistabiel of tijdelijk.
Om de C1 of C2-kanaalmodus in te stellen, drukt u kort op knop C1 of C2, de rode LED C1 of C2 gaat branden
en de gele LED geeft de momenteel ingestelde kanaalmodus (MOM / MONO / BIST) aan. Stel de gewenste
bedrijfsmodus in door herhaaldelijk op de knop C1 of C2 te drukken. De gele LED MOM stelt de
kortstondige modus in, de LED met de BIST-beschrijving - bistabiele modus. Houd de knop C1 of C2 van de
ontvanger ingedrukt om de geselecteerde bedieningsmodus te bevestigen. De LED C1 of C2 knippert en
de LED's C1 of C2 en MOM of BIST gaan uit. De bedrijfsmodus wordt opgeslagen.
Door op de aangrenzende kanaalknop te drukken, verlaat u de programmeermodus zonder de
wijzigingen te bevestigen.

9. Formatteren van het geheugen van de ontvanger
Om het geheugen te formatteren, houdt u de knoppen C1 en C2 op de ontvanger 15 seconden ingedrukt.
LED's C1, C2, MOM, MONO en BIST beginnen te knipperen. De knoppen mogen pas worden losgelaten als
de LED's uitgaan.
Geheugen formatteren:
źverwijdert alle zenders uit het geheugen van de ontvanger,
źdeactiveert het slot van de functie "zender toevoegen",
źdeactiveert het serviceslot,
źstelt de kanaalmodus in op MONO met een schakeltijd van 1 seconde.
10. Het aantal toegevoegde zenders controleren
Om het aantal zenders dat aan het geheugen van de ontvanger is toegevoegd te controleren, houdt u na
het toevoegen of verwijderen van de afstandsbediening de knop op de ontvanger nogmaals 5 seconden
ingedrukt. De LED knippert om het aantal geprogrammeerde zenders aan te geven. Het aantal tientallen
(van 0 tot 20 lange pulsen) wordt opeenvolgend weergegeven, gevolgd door het eenheidscijfer (van 0 tot 9
korte pulsen). Een voorbeeld van pulsen die het aantal ingevoerde zenders toont wordt aangegeven in de
tekening.

I. GENERAL INFORMATION
The MINI two-channel receiver series is designed to work with gate controllers, roller shutters and other
automation devices where a control pulse is required. It provides a simple and inexpensive way to extend
the functionality of the installation of a remote control. The small dimensions allow the receiver to be
mounted inside Φ60 installation boxes or larger or inside the enclosures of other automation devices.

III. RECEIVER INSTALLATION
The receiver is intended for indoor applications, for installation inside installation boxes Φ60 or larger,
inside the housings of other automation devices, ensuring appropriate operating conditions in accordance
with the technical parameters of the receiver. Do not mount the receiver in places exposed to high
humidity and frequent and sudden temperature changes. Due to the screw connection accessible from the
outside, galvanic isolation from other devices and wires should be provided, especially when mounted
inside the housing of another device. Attention should also be paid to thermal insulation from elements of
automation devices that can reach high temperatures (motors, transformers, actuators of control devices,
all heat sinks, etc.). The electrical connection should be carried out in accordance with Fig. 1, where the
receiver is presented along with a description of the terminals.
When choosing the mounting location, remember about:
•negative impact of the receiver antenna proximity to power equipment and metal objects
•negative impact of radio interference from sources other than the remote control
•negative impact of dense buildings, damp or reinforced concrete walls
•reducing the range when the remote control battery is used up
•increasing the range by increasing the height of the antenna location of the receiver.
The receiver is factory-fitted with a wire antenna.
The controlled device should be connected to the terminals of the selected receiver output. If the device
requires normally open (NO) control, it should be connected to the NO and C terminals. For normally
closed (NC) control, the device should be connected to the NC and C terminals of the first channel.
Connection of 12-24V AC/DC power supply is signaled by cyclical, simultaneous blinking of C1 and C2 LEDs
every 2.5 seconds.
During the device operation, each activation of the C1 / C2 output channel is signaled by lighting of the C1 /
C2 diode.

IV. RECEIVER PROGRAMMING
The receiver has the ability to program operating parameters. Before starting programming, refer to Fig. 1
showing the view of the receiver to locate the programming buttons C1 and C2 and the LEDs.
The receiver exits programming mode without saving changes after 45 seconds of inactivity.
1. Adding a remote control to the receiver.
To add a remote control button to the receiver, press and hold the programming button for the selected C1
/ C2 output channel. The C1 / C2 LED will light up. Press the selected remote button to control the channel.
Successful adding is indicated by blinking and then the C1 / C2 LED goes off.
2. Removing the remote control from the receiver's memory.
To remove the remote control, press and hold C1 and C2 buttons on the receiver simultaneously, C1 + C2 +
MOM + MONO + BIST LEDs will flash, then press any button on the remote control to be removed.
Successful removal is indicated by blinking of the C1 LED.
Too long (longer than 14 seconds) holding down the C1 and C2 buttons will format the receiver's
memory.

3. Remotely adding the remote to the receiver's memory.
The function of remote adding the remote allows you to add a remote control without having physical
access to the receiver. The condition for success is the necessity to be within the radio range of the receiver
and to have a previously added remote control.
The function is available only for RDA remotes.
To remotely add a remote control, press the button of the already added remote for 15 seconds within the
receiver's range. Then, within no more than 3 seconds, press and hold down the button of the remote
control to be added for 15 seconds.
The remote adding feature is not available when:
•configure the channel to work in momentary mode,
•enabled blockade of remote adding remotes,
•using remote controls from other manufacturers in the procedure,
•service-lock is enabled.
Unsuccessful adding of the remote control may be caused by:
•low battery of any of the remote controls,
•radio interference that may have occurred during the procedure,
•memory of the receiver is full (attempt to enter 201 remote control).

4. Lock / unlock remote adding function.
In order to protect the device against unauthorized attempts to add an additional remote control
(especially important in areas with protected user access), the remote adding function should be blocked.
In order to lock / unlock the remote adding function, press the C1 and C2 buttons, then release the C2
button. After 5 seconds the C1 and C2 LEDs will start flashing alternately every 5 seconds. Releasing the C1
button when:
•C1 diode is on - enables blockade of remote assigning
•C2 diode is on - disables the blockade of remote assigning
Releasing the C1 button before 5 seconds from the moment of releasing the C2 button will exit
the procedure without saving the changes.

5. Service lock. Adding / removing a "master" remote.
The service lock is a function that disables the operation of remotes added to the receiver for the duration
of e.g. maintenance works on the installation. Turning on the lock causes that the receiver does not
respond to the signal from the remote controls.
To activate the service lock, it is necessary to add a "master" remote to the receiver. Adding "master"
remotes is independent of adding remotes to control the channels. The "master" remote control can be
used both to control channels and to activate the service lock. Up to 5 "master" remote controls can be
introduced to the receiver to enable / disable the service lock.
To add / remove the "master" remote control, press the C1 or C2 button. The C1 or C2 LED will light up as
well as the LED indicating the currently set MOM / MONO / BIST mode. Press repeatedly C1 or C2 button to
light the LOCK diode. The LOCK LED will flash. During this time, press and hold the remote button for 3
seconds. Adding the "master" remote control is signaled by the C1 diode blinking, while the "master"
remote control removal is indicated by the C2 diode blinking.
It is recommended that the "master" remote control was not paired with the receiver and that it
should only be used to enable / disable the service lock.
6. Enabling / disabling service lock.
To enable / disable the service lock it is necessary to have a "master" remote control. In order to activate /
deactivate the service lock, within the receiver's range press five times, within no more than 5 seconds, any
button of the "master" remote. The activation of the lock is indicated by the LOCK diode on, the
deactivation of the lock is indicated by the LOCK diode off.
The service lock is removed after the receiver's memory is formatted.

7. Setting the operating mode of the output channel to monostable.
In order to set the channel operating mode to monostable, press and release the button of the selected
channel C1 / C2. The red C1 / C2 diode will light up and the yellow LED will indicate the currently set
operating mode of the channel. By repeatedly pressing the C1 / C2 button, set the monostable mode,
signaled by a yellow LED with the description MONO. To confirm, press and hold the C1 / C2 button again.
The LED with the description MONO will go out and start flashing after a while. While holding down the C1 /
C2 button, count the desired number of blinks, and then release the C1 / C2 button. The counted number of
MONO diode pulses means the channel activation time in seconds or minutes when after releasing the
button, while the C1 / C2 diode is blinking, the C1 / C2 button is pressed for a moment. To set the ON time to
0.5 s, release the C1 / C2 button before the first flash of the yellow LED with MONO description.

8. Setting the operating mode of the output channel to bistable or momentary.
To set the C1 / C2 channel mode, press and release C1 / C2, the red C1 / C2 LED will light and the yellow LED
will indicate the currently set MOM / MONO / BIST channel mode. By repeatedly pressing the C1 / C2
button, set the required operating mode. The yellow LED with the MOM description will set the
momentary mode, the LED with the BIST description - bistable mode. To confirm the selected operating
mode, press and hold the C1 / C2 button of the receiver. The C1 / C2 LED will blink and the C1 / C2 and MOM /
BIST LEDs will turn off. The operating mode will be saved.
Pressing the adjacent channel button will exit the programming mode without confirming the
changes.

9. Formatting the receiver's memory.
In order to format the memory, press and hold C1 and C2 buttons on the receiver for 15 seconds. C1, C2,
MOM, MONO, BIST diodes will start flashing. The buttons should be released only when the LEDs go out.
Formatting memory:
•removes all remotes from the receiver,
•disables the lock of remote adding function,
•disables the service lock,
•sets the channel operation mode to monostable with a switching time of 1s.
10. Checking the number of added remotes.
In order to check the number of remotes added to the receiver's memory, after adding or removing the
remote, hold down the button on the receiver for another 5 seconds. The LED will flash to indicate the
number of programmed remotes. The number of tens (from 0 to 20 long pulses) is shown sequentially,
followed by the unity digit (from 0 to 9 short pulses). An example of pulses showing the number of entered
remotes is shown in the drawing.

resources of the Earth for a longer
time and prevents the degradation of
natural environment.
WARRANTY
RDA bv provides operational and
ready to use devices and gives 24
months warranty from the selling
date to the end customer. This time is
counted according to the producer
warranty labels or serial numbers
placed on every product. RDA bv
obliges itself to repair the device for
free if during the warranty period
there are problems which come
because of its fault. Broken device
should be supplied on customer’s
expense to the place of purchase and
enclose clear and brief description of
t h e b r e a k a g e . T h e c o s t o f
mount/dismount is covered by the
user. The warranty does not cover any
faults caused by improper usage, user
self r e pair s, reg u lati o ns an d
adaptations, lightning strikes,
voltages or short circuits in the
electrical grid. Appropriate legal acts
regulate details of the warranty.
VERWIJDERING
E l e k t r i s c h e o f e l e k t r o n i s c h e
apparaten kunnen niet met het
dagelijkse afval worden verwijderd.
De juiste recycling van apparaten
geeft de mogelijkheid om de
natuurlijke hulpbronnen van de aarde
voor een langere tijd te behouden en
voorkomt de aantasting van de
natuurlijke omgeving.
GARANTIE
RDA bv biedt operationele en
gebruiksklare apparaten en geeft 12
m a a n d e n g a r a n t i e v a n a f d e
verkoopdatum. Deze tijd wordt
geteld volgens de garantielabels of
serienummers van de fabrikant die op
elk product zijn aangebracht. RDA bv
verplicht zich om het apparaat gratis
te repareren als er tijdens de
garantieperiode problemen zijn die
het gevolg zijn van zijn fout. Het
defecte apparaat moet op kosten van
de klant worden geleverd op de plaats
van aankoop en moet een duidelijke
en korte beschrijving van het defect
bijvoegen. De kosten van montage /
d e m o n t a g e w o r d e n d o o r d e
gebruiker gedragen. De garantie dekt
geen defecten veroorzaakt door
oneigenlijk gebruik, zelfreparaties
door de gebruiker, voorschriften en
aan p ass i nge n , bli k sem i nsl a g,
spanningen of kortsluitingen in het
e l e k t r i c i t e i t s n e t . P a s s e n d e
rechtshandelingen regelen de details
van de garantie.
RDA bv verklaart hierbij
dat de radio-ontvanger
voldoet aan richtlijn
