Tramline Bouts”
The Wheel Marks isplay
a tick when on a tramline
bout an which si e is
active.
The Secon line shows
the current Tramline Bout.
The Thir line shows the
Tramline Target.

Button
Turns the Artemis on
an off.

This button starts the
metering motor running
to prime the see pipes
prior to the rill entering
the groun or moving
forwar .

This button will overri e the
current Tramline Count an a
1 bout the current Tramline
Bout.
“Setup” Button
Use to enter the
Setup/Configuration
Menu
“ENTER” Button
When you have type
in a new Target Rate on
the RATE page, press
this button to enter it.
“SD/MMC Card
Reader”
“For ard Speed”
This isplays the live
Forwar Spee
Rea ing.
If the spee is too high
or too low then it will
alarm an show an
up/ own arrow.
“Tramline Hold” Button
This will prevent the
tramline bout counting
o
n if the rill is lifte while
working in the fiel .
“Return to MAIN Screen”
Press at any time to return from the Rate screen or any other
screen, back to the ‘MAIN’ Artemis screen isplaye here.
Press to swit
ch between Fan 1 & Fan 2 while on the MAIN page if
using twin fans.
Numeric Keypad
Use to enter a 'Target
Rate' while on RATE
page. If the Target Rate
isplaye is incorrect,
just type in a new one,
finishing with the Enter
key.
Use also for k
eying in a
value within Setup
Menu.
“Seed/Fert Motor On / Off” Buttons
These buttons allow the metering motors to be
in epen ently switche on or off.
These buttons will overr
i e the cut out status on the
rill.
“Fan Speed”
This is the Fan RPM
Spee .
If this rops below the
preset Alarm threshol
then the system will
alarm an the Metering
Motor will not run.
ARTEMIS PSi OPERATION
The Artemis is esigne to allow automatic, variable rate control of any rill
utilising Accor type metering units. You can at any time, also manually overri e
the pre etermine rate as fiel con itions require.
PRODUCT CALIBRATION
The Artemis must be calibrate once the metering unit position has been
selecte for each new pro uct.
1. Set up the drill in the usual way for a bucket test.
2. Locate the White priming button switch near to the metering unit and
press this.
3. The motor should start to meter out seed. Continue the test until a
reasonable amount of seed has been metered.
4. Weigh the product and note the weight in either grammes or Kg.
5. Return to the headunit and type in the weight that has been dispensed in
to the bucket.
6. Once this weight has been entere , the Artemis will isplay the
minimum an maximum forwar spee that is achievable. If this spee
oes not suit rilling con itions then a just metering unit an
recalibrate.
PRE-START
The Pre-Start
button enables the see pipes to be prime with see
before setting off to rill. By pressing the button, the motor will run for a preset
time perio as if it was travelling at the simulate spee value.
If the forwar spee oes not go above 0.5 km/hr within this preset time perio
then the motor will stop until the rill starts to move or the Pre-
Start button is
presse again.
ALTERING THE APPLICATION RATE
The Application Rate can be alter
e by pressing the “RATE” button on the right
han si e of the screen. This will alter epen ing upon if a single pro uct or
ual pro uct system is being use .
The Application Rate can be altere by either typing in a new rate on the
numerical keypa a
n pressing the Enter button or by using the “Nu ge”
buttons, these allow the Application Rate to be altere by a pre-
efine Nu ge
percentage.
TRAMLINE CONFIGURATION
The Tramline Configuration can be altere by pressing the “Setup” button an
then selecting the
key. This will isplay the following screen which is
base aroun the rill wi th.
The number of target bouts can be increase an ecrease by using the up
an own arrows until the esire sprayer wi th is achieve .
The Left an Right butt
ons enote whether a Symmetric or Asymmetric Tramline
sequence is to be use .
