1. COLD WATER — Blow out the building cold-water supply line
to remove chips, scale, etc. Connect line to washer.
2. HOT WATER — Blow out the building hot-water supply line to
remove chips, scale, etc. Connect line to washer.
3. STEAM (if unit is equipped with steam-heated option) — Blow
outthebuildingsteam supply line to remove chips, scale, etc.
Connect line to washer.
4. WASTE — Connect washer drain line to building waste line.
5. ELECTRIC — Connect building electrical supply to washer.
Verify that all electrical connections are tight.
6. Open building supply valves and check for leaks. Correct if
necessary.
1. Replace access panel.
2. Remove any adhesives found on panels and inside chamber
with a suitable solvent (such as Stoddard solution). Keep
solventsawayfromallpaintedsurfacesordamagemayresult.
3. Inspect work area to be sure all materials used during instal-
lation have been removed.
THIS COMPLETES THE INSTALLATION. Before operating
the equipment, an operational test should be conducted by an
STERISEngineeringServicetechnicianorequivalentpersonfamil-
iar with operational test procedures, including leak testing, as
outlined in Section 4. Contact your local STERIS representative —
he/she will gladly schedule a STERIS technician to test your
installation and show persons designated how to operate the unit.
