The RELOAD dash camera package includes the following items:
Thank you for purchasing RELOAD dash camera which captures real time video of events
happening outside your vehicle while driving. Mounted on your car's windshield, the camera
records video in 2K 1440P & Full HD 1080P to ensure all the moments of your trip are
recorded. This User Manual will give you step-by-step instructions and advice to help you get
the best experience from your new device. Please read it carefully before using the dash
camera.

Safety Precautions
• For in-car use only.
• It's dangerous to operate the dash camera while driving. Please always operate the
camera when the car stops.
• Avoid using or storing the dash camera in an extreme temperature environment.
• Only use the provided car adapter. Using the other car adapters may cause unknown
problems.
• If your car's lighter socket continues to provide power after the engine is switched off,
unplug the dash camera when the engine is off or idling to reduce unnecessary power
consumption and prevent any unexpected problems.
General Use
• Never place the dash camera where the driver's view or deployment of airbags is
obstructed.
• Mount the dash camera within range of the windshield wipers to ensure clear visibility in
rain.
Mounting Location
• Canadian Tire never takes any responsibility for data loss or damage during operation. We
strongly advise that you back up the important data in your memory card to a computer or
other storage medium as soon as possible.
• To ensure Hi-Speed USB 2.0 data transfer rates when connecting your dash camera to a
computer, please check that the computer has the 2.0 USB drivers or above.
Backing up Data
These usage and safety guidelines are IMPORTANT! Please follow them carefully to ensure
your own personal safety and help protect your dash camera from potential damage.
WARNING!
Please apply the provided electrostatic film to the windshield before
mounting the camera to prevent 3M residue on windshield when you
remove the camera away from your car.

1) Decide the mounting location--It's suggested to put the device around the area of rear
view mirror to have better view.
2) Clean mounting area of the windshield thoroughly
with a piece of clean cloth.
3) Attach the electrostatic film to the clean windshield
(Fig. A).
4) Attach the camera to the GPS receiver/mounting
base (Fig. B).
5) Remove the 3M sticker film on the GPS
receiver/mounting base and attach the device to the
electrostatic film (Fig. C).

6) Connect the device with car 12V socket with the
provided car adaptor.
7) Please organize your car adaptor cables so that
the cable is not hanging around (Fig. D).
3. Insert the MicroSD Memory Card into the card slot of the
camera before you start recording.

64GB memory card has to be formatted in this camera before use.
Note:
1. Please use a MicroSD memory card with up to 64GB capacity.
2. Please insert a MicroSD memory card when the camera is off. Otherwise, the camera is not able to identify
the memory card. When it occurs, please turn off the camera (pressing the power button for 3 seconds) and
then turn it on again.
3. To avoid breaking down the file recorded, don't eject the MicroSD Card immediately after powering off.
4. It is suggested to format your memory card before the first use in this camera or format the memory card
periodically to release the storage capacity.
Note:
1) Make sure the camera is in the middle of the windshield so that FCWS and LDWS can work
properly.
2) Don't install the device within the area of air safety bag. Our company is not responsible for
any damage or injure caused by air safety bag.
3) Don't install the device on the tinted windshield film directly, please use the provided
electrostatic film to protect the windshield film or prevent from 3M residue.
4) Don't install the device on the area that will have any interference on electronic products.

The following table shows approximate recording time based on memory card capacity
and video resolution (for reference only):

5. You will be asked to set the language, date, time and format the
MicroSD memory card.
7. Adjust the pivot lens to have the
best front views (The front of the
engine block should be visible at
the very bottom of the LCD
display ).

The dash camera will start recording when the car is
powered (press to start recording if the camera is on
standby status). When 12V car power is out, the dash camera
will automatically save the current recording and power off.
5.1 Please use , and to set the language, date and time. &
are used for select values and is used to confirm your choice.
5.2 If you use the provided memory card for the first time, the camera will remind
you to format the card. Use & to choose "OK" and press " " to
execute "Format" order.
5.3 To format a used memory card, press to stop recording at first and then
press to enter the setting menu. Press " " for multiple times until
"Format" is chosen. Press to confirm and then choose "OK" to double
confirm the order. Once the "Format" is done, the interface will return to main
menu list. Press again to quit setting interface.
5.4 To remove memory card, please push to eject the memory card out of the slot.

WARNING!
Do not remove the memory card during recording or shut down to avoid damage to the
memory card and the recorded videos.

With Loop Recording enabled (by default), the oldest files in the memory card will be
overwritten by new video files when memory card capacity is full. To disable Loop Recording,
please enter setting menu to operate.
Press to capture the images while recording.
In emergency recording mode, the dash camera records the video when the event occurs
and protects the video file from being overwritten. The file is saved in folder DCIM \ MOVIE \
RO. An old emergency file can be overwritten by a new emergency file after the emergency
folder is full.
1. G-Sensor event recording: During video recording, if the dash camera detects an impact,
it will automatically activate emergency recording mode.
If the G-Sensor sensitivity is set to "High Sensitivity", even minor shocks will be detected.
If the G-Sensor sensitivity is set to "Low Sensitivity", it will only detect significant shocks.
G-Sensor sensitivity can be adjusted or disabled in the Settings menu.
2. Manual emergency recording: During video recording, press button to activate the
emergency recording function manually.
Emergency recording will be activated under the following two situations.
The oldest emergency files will be overwritten by new emergency files when the emergency folder
storage space is full.

This function will be activated when driving speed is over 50km/h. The camera will detect the
distance to front car and give warning sound and screen warning to the driver to keep the
safe distance if the car is too close to the front car.
This function will be activated when driving speed is over 50km/h, the camera will detect
your car position and the two lanes beside your cars. When your car is too close to the lane,
the camera will give a warning sound and screen warning to prevent potential risks caused
by fatigue driver.
LDWS and FCWS must work with enough light environments and clear lanes. When at night time,
under low light situation, during bad weather or the lane marks are not clear; the camera may not
be able to detect the front car or lanes.

interface.

forward. Press again to pause.

press to enter "protect" interface.

Menu Options
In the Settings menu, you can adjust settings such as video resolution, recording time, and
G-Sensor sensitivity. You can also set the date/time, change interface language, format
memory card etc..
1. During video recording, first press to stop recording and then press button to
enter the setting interface.
2. Use / to select the desired menu

Resolution: Set the resolution/quality for video recording.
Available options:
2560x1440P @ 30fps 2K high resolution video
1920x1080P @ 60fps Full HD video quality for high speed drive

Exposure: Adjust exposure composition value to lighten or darken the
preview screen.

Motion Detection: The camera will start recording automatically
when the lens detect the movement of objects on the front.

G-sensor: Adjust the sensitivity of the G-Sensor.

To transfer files between the dash camera memory card and your computer:
Option 1: Take the MicroSD memory card out of the camera and use a compatible card reader
to transfer files to your computer.
Option 2: Connect the camera with computer with the provided USB cable, and you will see a
new storage device in your laptop. To transfer videos, simply drag-and-drop files from the
folder of the camera to the local driver of your computer.
WARNING!
To prevent data loss, always follow the proper removal procedures when disconnecting the dash
camera from your computer.

If a problem occurs with your dash camera, please first check the information listed
below. If you are unable to solve the problem with the trouble shooting information, please
contact 1 877 466 8191 for help.
The camera can't be powered on
Check the followings:
1. Is your car engine powered on or your car power system is on? If not, please turn on the
car power.
2. Is the camera connected to a valid 12V socket with the provided 12V car adaptor? Is the
connection solid?
I was using my dash camera, now no buttons are responding
(hangs / lags / stalls)
1. Try unplugging the car adapter from your dash camera, then reconnecting it to your dash
camera again. Please ensure you use the car adapter provided in the package because
the car adaptor from your other devices may not be compliant with this dash camera.
2. Reset your camera. Please refer to "Reset" instruction in the manual.
My dash camera cannot read videos on my memory card
Edited and deformed videos may not display properly on your dash camera.
My computer's operating system cannot detect my dash camera
Check the following:
1. Is your dash camera properly connected to the USB port? If not, unplug it and plug it in
again. Make sure the USB port is connected on both ends, as shown in the User's Manual.
2. Is your dash camera connected to the Mac keyboard? If yes, unplug it and plug it into an
available USB port on your Mac Desktop.
3. Is the computer's USB port enabled? If not, refer to the user's manual of your computer
(or motherboard) to enable it.
4. Please check whether the memory card has problem. You can remove memory card and
insert it into a card reader and then check whether your computer can detect your
memory card.
The camera shows "Card Error" or remind me to format the memory card
Please format the memory card as instructed. If the same phenomenon appears, it is
possible that the memory card is broken or doesn't work for this camera. Please change to a
new memory card and try.
