with Remo Hobby left hand and right hand Steering Wheel. (Mode1 or Mode2).The transmitter’s
easy-to-use design provides instant driving fun for new R/C enthusiasts, and also offers a full
compliment of pro-level tuning features for advanced users – or anyone interested in
experimenting with the performance of their model. The steering and throttle channels feature
adjustable Exponential, End Points, and Sub-Trims. Steering and braking Dual Rate are also
available. Many of the next-level features are controlled by the Multi-Function Compartment,
which can be programmed to control a variety functions. The detailed instructions and Menu
Tree (back page) included in this addendum will help you understand and operate the advanced
functions of the new Smart Control 2.4GHz radio system. For additional information and how-to

You need to turn the throttle channel(ch2) and inching switch to the lowest before
You use. Then switch on the transmitter power ,finally connect the receiver.
开机使用时请您勿必先将油门通道（CH2）及微调置最低端。然后打开发射机电源
并检查电源电量，再接通接收机电源.
The sequence to shutdown is that turn off the receiver power first, and then the
transmitter power.
If the above operations are reverse, it might lead to uncontrolled and cause
Accident.

你的智能控制2.4 GHz发射机使用4节AA电池。电池盒位于发射机的底部。
1.把电池盒盖按下选项卡并往后推出电池盒盖。
2.电池安装在电池盒中所示的正确方向。
3.如图所示重新安装电池门把它关闭。
4.打开发射机和检查状态指示器的红色LED灯常亮,
如果红色LED状态灯为闪动,发射机电池可能是电力不足,可能是已经过度放电或安装不正确。
替换为新的电池。
Your Smart Control 2.4GHz transmitter uses 4 AA batteries. The battery
compartment is located in the base of the transmitter.
1. Remove the battery compartment door by pressing the tab and lifting the
door up.
2. Install the batteries in the correct orientation as indicated in the battery
compartment.
3. Reinstall the battery door and snap it closed.
4. Switch on the transmitter and check the status indicator for a solid red light.

我们的产品在出厂前已经过配对，你无需做配对的动作便可使用。但如果你要将三合一接收
控制器，跟另外的发射机进行配对使用，或者你要更换新的三合一接收控制器或者发射机，请你
按如下的步骤进行：
注:我们的接收发射系统，不跟其它品牌兼容！
1.将2.4G发射机装入电池，并关闭发射机。
2.将三合一控制器通电，并打开关，此时LED灯闪烁，
3.打开发射机观察LED灯不再闪烁表示配对成功，
4.如三合一控制器或发射机的LED灯还在闪烁，说明配对不成功，再重复以上动作。
注：以上配对方法，仅适合于发射机RH1和三合一控制器的产品。
Remo Hobby RH1 2.4GHz Binding Instructions For proper operation, the transmitter and receiver
must be electronically ‘bound.’ This has been done for you at the factory. Should you ever need
to re-bind the system or bind to an additional transmitter or a new 3 IN 1 SMART SYSTEM
INTEGRATION, follow these instructions.
Note: Remo Hobby RH1 2.4GHz transmitter and 3 IN 1 SMART SYSTEM INTEGRATION do not
compatible with other brand.
1. Put batteries into the transmitter battery compartment and made sure the transmitter power is off.
2. Connect the 3 IN 1 SMART SYSTEM INTEGRATION to batteries and then Switch on, the LED
lights are flashing.
3. Switch on the transmitter checking the transmitter and 3 IN 1 SMART SYSTEM INTEGRATION
LED lights are not flashing, that is bound.
4. If the transmitter and 3 IN 1 SMART SYSTEM INTEGRATION LED lights are keep flashing,
that mean not bind, Please repeat the action.
Note: This bind methods, only suitable for transmitter RH1 and 3 IN 1 SMART SYSTEM
INTEGRATION LED.

发射机进行配对使用，或者你要更换新的接收机或者发射机，请你按如下的步骤进行：
注！我们的接收发射系统，不跟其它品牌兼容！
1．将2.4G发射机装入电池，并关闭发射机。
2．将配对线插入接收机的BIND通道接口如图。
3．将接收机通电。
4．将发射机上的配对键（BIND）按住，然后打开发射机电源开关。（注：不要松开按键）
5．观察接收机上 的LED灯，如果发现LED灯不再闪烁表示配对成功。（些过程大约时间5S左右）
6．松开发射机上的配对线，拨掉接收机上和配对线。
7．接上伺服器并通电测试。
8．如果测试不行，刚重复以上动作。
9．如果测试OK，刚可正常使用，配对完成。
注：以上配对方法，仅适合于发射机RH2和接收机的产品。

防失控保护设置方法：在接收机与发射机对码成功后,当配对线拔出前设定发射机的转向中点值和
油门0位值。或拔下配对线前的最后操作发射机的功能状态。这样拔下配对线时为遥控器的最终失
控定位数据。

Remo Hobby RH2 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver are well matched(bound) in the
factory, you do not need to match(bind) by yourself. But if you are going to match
(bind) the receiver with other transmitter, or you need to change a new receiver or
transmitter, please follow the following steps:
Note: Remo Hobby RH2 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver do not compatible with other brand.
1.Install the battery to 2.4G transmitter and shut it down.
2.Insert the matching lines to the channel BIND/CH3 port of the receiver. (Figure).
3.Connect the receiver to the batteries, on the same time the LED light are flashing and this
means the receiver are going to the matching status.
4.Press and hold the BIND button on the transmitter, and then switch on the power supply.
5.Observe the LED light on the receiver, if find that the LED light is not flash anymore and
that means successful matched. （This process about 5s)
6.Release the match BIND button on the transmitter, take out the match line.
7.Install the server and then test.
8.If the tests fail, please repeat the action above.
9.If the tests success, the system is bound and ready for use.
(The above ways of match is only suitable for REMO HOBBY RH2 2.4G transmitter and receiver)
Prevent runaway protection setting method: After bound the receiver and transmitter, when before
pull out the binding line need to setting the steering at neutral (zero exponential) and throttle at neutral
(zero exponential). Set up is completed, DO NOT touching the transmitter then remove the binding line.
So after remove the binding line the transmitter data will be out of control positioning data.

因为这样接收机灵敏度最高。为了防止损失广播和接收范围禁止扭结和剪切接收
机黑色电线（天线）,如图。

Place the antenna of the receiver vertically with the plane! And don't let it close to the
metal thing for assuring its sensitivity. To prevent loss of radio and receive range do
not kink or cut the Receiver black wire（Antenna）,See pic.

fact the Multi-Function Compartment all functions are set already. Please keep all the switches

In Multi-Function compartment has a TH TRIM knob is throttle trim will allow you to
adjust the throttle’s neutral position to prevent unwanted brake drag or throttle
application when the transmitter trigger is at neutral。If you have a nitro model,
adjust the Throttle Trim knob can be set to control the Throttle servo also to control
the carburetor open angle ( moves out angle). If your Electric model is always run
forward or back, you can adjust the TH TRIM knob to determine the Throttle neutral.
在多功能舱有一个(TH TRIM)旋钮是油门调整你可以通过调整来确定油门的中位,以防止
不必要的刹车阻力或油门应用传感器触发时的中位。如果你使用的是一台硝基模型车、

The ST Trim function is used to precisely set the neutral point of the steering in the
event that simply setting the trim knob to “zero” does not completely center the servo.
When selected, allows finer adjustment to the servo output shaft’s position for precise
setting of the neutral point. Always set the Steering Trim knob to zero before making
final adjustment (if required) using Trim. Experiment! Try standing at the rear of the
model car, pull the throttle trigger half way of the controller to observe if the car goes
straight ahead；if not, adjust the “STEERING TRIM” knob a little bit to make it goes
straight ahead.
转向调整(ST TRIM)是用来精确地设置转向时的中点简单地设置调整旋钮“零”来调整并
不完全在中心的伺服器。选中时,允许更好的调整伺服器输出轴的中点位置进行精确设

In Multi-Function compartment has a ST D/R knob can be set to control the amount
(percentage) of servo travel applied to steering. Turning the ST D/R knob fully
clockwise will deliver maximum steering throw; turning the knob counter-clockwise
reduces steering throw (note: turning the ST D/R knob counter-clockwise to its stop will
eliminate all servo travel). Be aware that the steering End Point settings define the
servo’s maximum steering throw. If you set Steering Percentage to 100% ，the servo
will travel all the way to its selected end point. Many racers set Dual Rate so they have
only as much steering throw as they need for the track’s tightest turn, thus making the
car easier to drive throughout the rest of the course. Reducing steering throw can also
be useful in making a car easier to control on high-traction surfaces, and limiting
steering output for oval racing where large amounts of steering travel are not required.
Also decreased steering sensitivity may be helpful when driving on low-traction
surfaces, when driving at high speed, or on tracks that favor sweeping turns where
gentle steering inputs are required.

run. Also be aware that the Throttle End Point settings define the servo’s maximum
Throttle throw, Electric model its full speed. If you set Throttle Percentage to 100% ，
the Throttle servo will travel all the way to its selected end point and Electric model all
way full speed). Many racers set Dual Rate so they have only as much Throttle throw

Steering and Throttle REV油门和转向倒相（逆转）
The ST REV is Steering Reverse can be switch the steering from normal to
reverse direction. The TH REV is Throttle Reverse can be switch the Throttle
from normal to reverse direction.
Experiment! Try pull the throttle trigger on the transmitter and turn the
steering wheel control wheel to observe if the model car follows the
instruction. If the steering action of the car goes totally contrary with the
instruction, you have to set the “STEERING REVERSE” switch to the other
side; if the forward & backward action of the car goes contrary with the
instruction, you have to set the “THROTTLE REVERSE” switch to the other
side.
ST REV是转向倒相（逆转）可以开关转向从正常到相反方向。TH REV是油
门倒相（逆转）可以开关油门从正常到相反方向。
试验！尝试扳动遥控器的油门扳机及转向操纵轮，观察模型车的动作是否与

When the steering wheel turn to right then the front wheel will turn to right. When the
steering turn to left then the front wheel will turn to left.

油门控制功能介绍:
1.扣动扳机（模型车前进）
2.扳机回到中位（模型车停止前进）
3.当模型车在前进状态时快速撑开扳机（模型车刹车）
4.模型车刹车后，扳机回到中位后撑开扳机（模型车后进）
B).模型车前进时，扳机回到中位保持1秒以上时间，撑开扳机（模型车后退）
Throttle control function introduction:
1. When pull the throttle trigger back, car will accelerate forward (see the picture).
2. When the throttle trigger back to middle position, car will stop going forward (see
the picture).
3. When the car going forward then push the throttle trigger, the car will put on the
brakes.
4. A).When the car put on the brakes then push the throttle trigger, car will go
backward.
B). When the car going forward then push the throttle trigger to middle position
keep one second then push the throttle trigger, car will go backward.(according
to the different ESC)(see the picture).

Remo Hobby Smart Radio Control System 2.4GHz radio system with Remo Hobby left hand and
right hand Steering Wheel (Mode1 or Mode2)，It’s great. How to make mode 1 change to mode 2
or mode 2 change to mode 1, you need to hold the switch then push the steering wheel into other
side, after release the switch. At the same time you can also pass steering wheel (ST REV) switch
to change your habits.

The throttle neutral adjustment is located on the transmitter
face and controls the forward/reverse travel of the throttle
trigger. Change the adjustment by pressing the button and
sliding it to the desired position. There are two settings
available:
50/50: Allows equal travel for both acceleration and reverse.
70/30: Allows more throttle travel (70%) and less reverse travel (30%);this will NOT increase the top
speed of the vehicle.
We strongly recommend to leave this control in its factory location until you become familiar with all
the adjustments and capabilities of your model.
Note: 70/30 is the default factory setting and the required setting for the other models. To change
the throttle neutral adjust position for an electric model, turn the transmitter off before adjusting the
neutral position. You will need to reprogram your electronic speed control to recognize the 50/50
setting. See your Owner’s Manual for instructions.
WARNING: DO NOT change the throttle neutral setting on the transmitter while the vehicle and the
transmitter are switched on. This will cause the vehicle to move with no throttle input and could result
in personal injury or property damage. Switch off the vehicle and the transmitter, change the throttle
neutral setting, and then switch the transmitter and the vehicle back on; the ESC will need to be
reprogrammed to recognize the new setting. Please see the ESC Manual for instructions.

NOTE: Remo Hobby RH1 2.4GHz transmitter and 3 IN1 SMART SYSTEM
INTEGRATION if you want to change to 50/50 mode (or 70/30 mode) you need come
with throttle trim (TH TRIM) knob to adjust the throttle’s neutral position to prevent
unwanted brake drag or throttle application when the transmitter trigger is at neutral。
（This operation method is also applicable to RH2 2.4 GHz transmitter and receiver
some brushed versions ESC, please check ESC Manual for instructions then to
setting throttle neutral.）Remo Hobby RH2 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver if you

*When change a new ESC please turn the RH2 transmitter TH D/R knob to the largest
proportion of throttle, then see ESC Manual for instructions to setting throttle neutral.
It will deliver maximum throttle throw.
*建议RH2在更换新无刷电调时请把油门大小动作量调整打开到最大，再查阅无刷
电调的重设置油门中点操作说明进行设置，达到最理想油门量。
油门行程模式调整：通过油门行程模式转换开关拨钮，滑到所需的位置。有两种可用的设置，为
70/30模式、50/50模式。
50/50:允许加速度和逆转平等行程
70/30:允许更多油门行程(70%)和反向行程(30%)；这不会增加模型车的最高速度。
注意:工厂70/30是默认设置如所需设置的其它模型。去改变电动模型的油门模式调整位置,在调整油
门模式位置之前请关掉发射机。您将需要重新编程你的电子速度控制器确认到50/50的设置。请查看
你的使用说明手册。
警告: 不要（禁止）在改变油门模式的设置时模型车和发射机是打开的。这将导致车辆移动或没有油

11.USING THE REMO HOBBY 2.4GHZ SMART RADIO CONTROL SYSTEM
The Remo Hobby 2.4GHz Smart Radio Control System has been pre-adjusted at the factory. The
adjustment should be checked before running the model, in case of movement during shipping.
Here’s how:
1. Turn the transmitter switch on. The status LED on the transmitter should be solid gree(not flashing).
2. If you have an electric model, elevate the model on a block or a stand so that all the tires
are off the ground. Make sure your hands are clear of the moving parts of the model.
3. If you have an electric model, plug the battery pack in the model into the speed control.
4. Switch the receiver on. Do this with a nitro vehicle by switching the on/off switch to “on.” If you
have an electric vehicle, you must turn the speed control on to power the receiver.
The on/off switch is integrated into the speed control. With the transmitter on, Then switch the
ESC on . The LED will shine indicating the model is on.
5. Turn the steering wheel on the transmitter back and forth and check for rapid operation of the
steering servo. Also, check that the steering mechanism is not loose or binding. If the steering
operates slowly, check for weak batteries or check the Steering Degrees/Range Adjustment.

6. When looking down at model, the front wheels should be pointing straight ahead. If the wheels
are turned slightly to the left or right, slowly adjust the steering trim control on the.
transmitter until they are pointing straight ahead.
7. Gently operate the throttle trigger to ensure that you have forward and reverse operation, and
that the motor stops when the throttle trigger is at neutral. Warning: Do not apply full throttle in
forward or reverse while the model is elevated.
8. If you have a nitro model, operate the throttle trigger on the transmitter and check for rapid
operation of the throttle servo. When the throttle trigger is pulled back, the carburetor should
open (slide moves out). When the throttle trigger is pushed all the way forward, the brake
should lock.
9. Once adjustments are made, turn off the receiver on your model, followed by the handheld
transmitter.

Range-Testing the Radio System Before each running session with your model,
you should range-test your radio system to ensure that it operates properly.
1.Turn on the radio system and check its operation as described in the previous section.
2.Have a friend hold the model.Make sure hands and clothing are clear of the wheels and
other moving parts on the model.
3.Make sure your transmitter antenna is fully extended,and the walk away from the model
with the transmitter until you reach the farthest distance you plan to operate the model.
在你的模型每次运行之前测试无线电系统范围，你应该范围测试你的无线电系统以确保
其正常运行。
