NOTE: Do NOT lay K1 horizontally while powered on. This may cause malfunction.
Charging:
1. Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB Power Adapter and the other end into the Micro USB Port of the
camera.
2. The LED indicator turns off when it is fully charged.
Before use (IMPORTANT – Please follow the steps!):
3. To prevent damaging the gimbal:
a. Unlock the roll motor by rotating it.
b. Unlock the pan axis lock by sliding the pan axis lock DOWN.
4. Turn the power ON by:
a. Sliding down and holding the power switch.
b. Releasing the power switch once the device has turned ON.
During use – Controls:
5. Joystick:
a. Use the Joystick to pan or tilt the camera.
6. Trigger:
a. Tap the trigger once to switch between pan-mode and follow-mode.
i. Pan-mode: the camera is vertically stable, can move horizontally
ii. Follow-mode: the camera follows the direction of movement, both horizontally and vertically
b. Tap the trigger twice to re-center the camera to the default position.
c. Tap the trigger three times to change to/from Selfie mode.
d. Hold the trigger and use the Joystick to zoom in/out.
7. Menu:
a. Use the menu to modify the settings.
b. Menu Button: Back
c. Joystick or the Shutter Button: Navigate
d. Record Button: Select
After use (IMPORTANT – Please follow the steps!):
8. Lock the pan axis lock by sliding the pan axis lock UP.
9. Turn the power OFF by:
a. Sliding down and holding the power switch.
b. Releasing the power switch once the device has turned OFF.
10. Lock the roll motor by rotating it. Ensure that the device is turned OFF before locking the roll motor.
