Speaker Terminals F to speakers.
Wiring to another RL-BT100:
2. For connection to another RL-BT100 Amplier run twisted
pair cable from the Output A of the ‘Master’ Amplier unit
(rst in line) to Input B of the ‘Slave’ Amplier unit/s.
Wiring to RL-BT430:
3. For connection to RL-BT430 Input Module run BOTH a
twisted pair cable from Audio Input B and a Figure 8
Power Cable from Power Input E of RL-BT100 Amplier to
RL-BT430 unit.
Hardware Connection
1. Connect speaker cable to Speaker Terminals F . For
optimum performance ensure that speaker polarity is
consistent ie:
- Left Positive output (L+) on RL-BT100 is connected to
the Positive (+) Input on Left speaker
- Left Negative output (L-) on RL-BT100 is connected to
the Negative (-) Input on the Left speaker
- The same wiring must apply to the Right speaker
connections
2. Screw antenna supplied onto Antenna Input D .
3. Drill 16mm hole for mounting of TIM module into plaster
ceiling optimally 750mm distance from left or right speaker
location.
Cable Requirement*:
Audio - Category 5e twisted pair cable
Power - Figure 8 14-020
Speaker - 12-24 AWG Low Loss Speaker Cable
Notes:
1. Recommended cables are run according to TS009
regulations to reduce interference
2. Maximum cable run of twisted pair from Amplier to
RL-BT430 is 40m
3. Maximum cable run of twisted pair cable from RL-BT100
Amplier to second Amplier is 25m
4. RJ45 termination type EIA/TIA 568A wiring standard
