CAUTION
Before playing video games, be sure to observe and apply the following:
• Take intermittent 15 minute breaks, at least once an hour, when playing for
extensive periods at a time.
• Refrain from playing if you are drowsy or fatigued.
• Play in a well-lit room
• Sit or stand at a relatively far distance from the TV when playing video
• games.
SAFETY
Read carefully before operating your RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller
This product has been designed with the highest concern for safety. However, any
electrical device, if used improperly, has the potential for causing re, electrical
shock or personal injury. To help ensure accident-free operation, follow these
guidelines:
• Observe all warnings, precautions and instructions.
• Stop use and unplug the Micro USB®cable from the USB®power source
immediately if the device functions in an abnormal manner or produces
unusual sounds or smells.
• If your RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller is not working properly after
troubleshooting, contact customer support at [e-mail]
• Do not remove the controller exterior or disassemble the controller.
• Do not use the controller near water.
• Keep the controller and connecting cable out of the reach of children.
• Do not place the controller and connected accessories on the oor or in a
place where they may cause persons walking by to trip or stumble.

HEALTH
• Stop Playing and consult a physician if you experience any of the following:
♦Loss of awareness
♦Lightheadedness, nausea or a sensation similar to motion sickness
♦Altered vision
♦Disorientation or confusion
♦Facial muscle twitches
♦Shaking of arms or legs
♦Tired, uncomfortable or aching hands or arms
♦Tired, dry or aching eyes
♦Any unusual physical sensations
• When operating the unit, play in a well-lit room and keep a safe distance
from the video source.
• Avoid prolonged use of the controller. Take a break of about 15 minutes
during every hour of play.
• Do not use the controller when you are tired or short of sleep.
• Listening to sound continuously for a long time with a high volume may
adversely affect the ears.
• Be careful especially when using headphones. Adjust the volume so that
• surrounding sounds can be heard.
• Do not let young children or toddlers operate your RB8-64 Bluetooth®
Controller without supervision.

FIRMWARE UPDATE
EN FIRMWARE UPDATE/ DUAL MODE OPTIONS
Wii U™ AND PS3™
Upgrade rmware via PC or Mac®
• Press and hold START+L+R on the RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller for 3
seconds. A RED light will begin blink.
• Use the enclosed USB®cable to connect the RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller
to your PC.
• Download the RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller upgrade software from the
www.8bitdo.com website and run the 8Bitdo_update.exe le in Windows
folder(for WIN user), or in Mac®OS folder (for Mac®OS user).
• Select the xxx_rmware.dat rmware le and run the update.
DUAL MODE OPTIONS
Your RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller has dual mode options for game play
Joystick
1. On your Android/iOS/PC Activate your Bluetooth®function.
2. On the RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller, press and hold the Start button until
you see a blue light ash. Once the blue light starts ashing you are in
pairing mode.
3. Scan for Bluetooth®devices on your Android/iOS/PC device.
4. When detected, tap “RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller ” to pair.
5. If asked for pairing code (password), enter “0000”.
6. Your devices are now paired and communicating with each other.
Touch Screen Simulator
Note: Android needs ROOT access
1. Download the ofcial 8Bitdo® APP/APK from the ofcial site at www.8Bitdo.
com.
2. Follow the instructions on page Fast Startup Figure, to turn on the RB8-64
Bluetooth®Controller in mode 4.
3. Run the 8Bitdo®app and scan for Bluetooth®devices. When detected tap
“RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller” to pair.
4. If asked for pairing code (password), enter “0000”.
5. In EmuTouch screen mode, press START+Z to activate in 8Bitdo®app.
6. Finally, drag and drop buttons in order to map the keys to your satisfaction.
Press START+Z to nish setup.

Warning:
Android: After using Mode 4 and you wish to use Mode 1, 2 or 3, you will need to
clear pairing information at system Bluetooth® rst and then scan, pair again.
CHARGING YOUR CONTROLLER
Your RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller has a built-in 480mAh Lithium ion battery that
can support up to 10 hours of gameplay. Simply connect one end of the 6 foot
Micro USB®cable (included) into the top of the RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller and
the other end into the USB®slot of your PC, MAC, or other charging device.

Troubleshooting
PROBLEM SOLUTION
Console is not turning on. • Allow the controller to fully charge before
usage.
• Press the Power button down until you see
the lights on the controller ash. Once the
lights start ashing, the controller is ready to
pair.
Controller will not connect
to my mobile device via
Bluetooth®.
• Is the controller in the proper pairing mode?
• Have you turned your mobile device’s’
Bluetooth®feature ON?
• With the controller in pairing mode, turn your
mobile device’s Bluetooth®feature OFF and
ON to refresh the list.
• In your Bluetooth®settings, under available
devices, do you see a listed item with a
DPad icon or RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller?
If so select that entry and follow the
onscreen steps.
• Does your mobile device allow Bluetooth®
devices such as a controller to be
connected?
• Are you able to connect the controller to any
other mobile device?
Controller will not connect
to my PC/MAC/Laptop via
Bluetooth®.
• Is the controller in the proper pairing mode?
• Does your device have Bluetooth®
capabilities?
• Is the Bluetooth®feature on your device
turned ON?
• Do you have another Bluetooth®device
connected to your system? Most systems
only allow one Bluetooth®connection at a
time.
• With the controller in pairing mode, turn your
mobile device’s Bluetooth®feature OFF and
ON to refresh the list.
• In your Bluetooth®settings, under available
devices, do you see a listed item with a
DPad icon or RB8-64 Bluetooth®Controller?
If so select that entry and follow the
onscreen steps.
