Thank you for purchasing the Retül Müve SL dynamic fit bike.
Use these instructions to aid in assembling your new fit bike.
The Member’s Area of www.retul.com is a great resource to gather informational documents and view
instructional videos for the Müve SL fit bike. The videos include:
-A thorough walkthrough of the assembly of the Müve SL fit bike
-Overview on the accessories included with your Müve SL such as the Stack and Reach ruler.
The Retül Müve SL is adjusted through the use of drive screws. Each full turn of a knob (large or small) will yield
a move of 2.5mm.
The optional fit-crank is attached via a standard square-taper bottom bracket.
Included is a loop of chain and master link sized for a 53T chainring and the included 20T freewheel. The chain
should be set to the proper tension using the tension screws, similar to a horizontal dropout single-speed
bicycle.
The Müve SL is required to have the rear wheel attached to a full stand trainer/resistance unit and not intended
to be used (i.e. a rider in the saddle) without the rear wheel attached to trainer stand. Instability and injury can
occur if the Müve SL is not properly set up.

STACK & REACH RULER MEASURING
CARE & MAINTENANCE
Place the ruler against
the right angled ledge
on the movement.

Use this as a guide for care and maintenance of your new Retül Müve SL fit bike.
General:
- Refrain from touching the lubricated drive screws to reduce corrosion. If you are in a high humidity
environment and/or high usage, lubrication will be required more often. Also, periodically check the
tightness of the bolts.
Shafts & Rails:
- The aluminum shafts and rails do not require lubrication as they use a dry bearing system. It is important
to keep these shafts free of dust and debris that can accumulate so that they do not inhibit the free travel
of the shaft and rail movements.
Drive Screws, Knobs, and Bevel Gears:
- Keep the drive screws and bevel gears (under the side covers of the handlebar and saddle movements)
well lubricated with Phil’s Tenacious Oil or equivalent. Do not loosen the bevel gears or shaft hardware.
Apply small amounts of oil where the knobs and screws rotate.
Chain and Tire:
- Lubricate the chain as you would any other bicycle chain. Check the Tire pressure regularly to
maintain proper resistance during use.
Cleaning:
- Spray a clean, lint free cloth with any mild household cleaner and wipe down the fit bike surfaces.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Follow all applicable laws in your country and specific location for disposing of waste products including lubricants
and cleaning agents used to maintain the proper functioning of your Retül product. Follow all MSDS and PPE
precautions when handling lubricants and cleanings agents and store them in a safe place when not in use. While
Retül manufactures this product using off-the-shelf/non-custom lubricants commonly used in the bicycle industry
and in most bicycle shops, we are not responsible for the misuse, mishandling, alterations or substitutions that are
not intended for use on bicycle chains, bearings and bearing surfaces, and common metals (aluminum, steel, brass,
etc.).

HEALTH & SAFETY
Use this as a guide for health and safety on and around the Müve SL fit bike.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Müve SL is intended to only be used with a full resistance unit frame/stand where it
provides stability during use (i.e. a rider in the saddle) as well as pedaling resistance. Do not mount the Müve SL
without it being securely mounted into the resistance unit stand or injury could result.
The Retül Müve SL weighs approximately 75lbs (34kg) fully assembled with the standard resistance unit attached. Its
maximum rider weight is 250lbs (115kg) on the saddle movement. It is recommended during final assembly of the
Müve SL to use two people, one to hold the plates and mechanisms while the other affixes them with the provided
hardware. Tighten all the hardware and verify by pushing and pulling on all pieces to ensure they are tight and properly
aligned.
A single person can move a fully assembled Müve SL when no rider is on it (unloaded) by tipping the front back on
using the rear wheel. Avoid any area that can pinch, bind or catch a person’s body part or clothing. Follow proper lifting
practices (do not use your back) and lift from an area of the Müve SL that can give you a good handhold and good
leverage without interfering with carrying/rolling (on its rear wheel) it to the location you desire. Make sure the path is
clear of obstacles and you know how you want the Müve SL oriented, at its destination, before you begin moving it.
Follow the provided instructions for the final assembly and do not substitute hardware or modify the Müve SL in any
way from how it was designed and manufactured. Re-engineering, modifying, substituting, changing or using the
Müve SL (or its components) for anything but its intended purpose will void the warranty and possibly cause bodily
injury, property damage and/or death.
During normal use of the Müve SL you should be mindful at all times where the wired pods from the harness, any
extensions and all other equipment, are in relation to the moving parts. Avoid getting them trapped or pinched
between plates, shafts, bearings, and/or resistance units. Verify the security of any saddles, handlebars, pedals and
any other roadworthy products that are used with the Müve SL before a rider assumes a riding position.
The Retül Müve SL has been tested and manufactured to be a safe product with a long useful life, providing regular
care and maintenance is performed.
