SEESMART LIMB PROTECTION FOR MOTORCYCLISTS
The SEESMART concept combines an extremely exible construction with high-performance SEEFLEX2925 material.
The result is a CE-rated motorcycle protector that follows the anatomy of the body to ensure an almost unnoticeable t.
The SEESMART protectors pass the CE EN1621-1:2012 level 1 impact tests, even in hot (T+) and in individual cases
cold (T-) conditions.
HOW IT WORKS: EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL EXPANSION
Visible studs in the SEESMART protector are hexagon-shaped and connected by narrow connection bands. This
construction enables the protectors to be extremely exible and remain relatively thin; exactly what a protector designed
for clothes that integrate into daily life need to keep from looking like motorcycle gear. The hexagon shaped studs
expand externally under impact, allowing them to absorb energy. This combination of external expansion and the use of
SEEFLEX2925 material reduces impact energy, giving the protector its impact absorbing properties.

LIMB PROTECTOR INSERT FOR MOTORCYCLISTS
Information notice for the use, care and storage of REV’IT! Seesmart limb protector inserts. Reading this leaet will help
you understand the use and capabilities of this product, and help ensure its continued performance throughout the life
of the product. This limb protector is CE Certied Armor to EN1621-1:2012. These items are considered PPE (Personal
Protective Equipment) under European Directive 89/686/EEC, and as such a CE type examination has been conducted on
these items by notied body (EU notied body number N.0498): RICOTEST Via Tione, 9 - 37010 Pastrengo, Verona, Italy.
ENERGY TRANSMISSION TEST (CE CERTIFICATION TEST)
The objective of the energy transmission test is to determine shock absorption based on the specications dened by EN
1621-1:2012. To calculate the energy transmission, the protector is tested according to 2 mandatory impact tests:
- ‘Ambient impact test’: Conditioning of the protector: 48±0,5 hrs in an atmosphere of 23±2 Celsius and a relative
humidity of 50±5 %. The ‘Ambient impact test’ is performed within 3 min. after removal from conditioning.
- ‘Wet impact test’: Conditioning of the protector: 72±0,5 hrs in a closed chamber above water maintained at a
temperature of 70±2°C. The protectors are then placed for another 24±0,5 hrs. in a tightly closed water vapour proof bag
in ambient temperature of 23±2°C. The ‘Wet impact test’ is performed within 5 min. after removal from conditioning. In
addition to the mandatory Ambient and Wet impact tests, EN1621-1:2012 describes two optional tests:
‘High temperature impact test’ (manufacturer claims protection up to +40°C) and ‘Low temperature impact test’
(manufacturer claims protection up to -10°C). In all tests the protector is placed on an anvil and hit with a drop striker
weighing 5kg (11 lbs) and falling from a height of approximately 1 meter (the kinetic impact energy should be at least 50J).
The lower the value of the energy transmission measured, the better the shock absorption of the protector. The ‘Ambient
impact test’ is conducted three times: one in each test area of a predetermined ‘Zone of Protection’* on the protector.
This test is repeated on three different protector samples, so that a total of nine impacts are conducted. The ‘Wet impact
test’ is performed in the same way as the ‘Ambient impact test’. However these impact tests are performed on two different
protector samples, so a total of six impacts are conducted.
EN1621-1:2012 describes two different ‘TYPES’ of protection each with their own ‘Zones of Protection’:
- TYPE A: limb protection that is of smaller dimensions; these are commonly (although not exclusively) optimised for use
with smaller riders.
- TYPE B: limb protection that is of larger dimensions; these are commonly (although not exclusively) optimised for use
with larger riders.
EN1621-1:2012 additionally describes two levels of protection:
- Level 1: The minimum level required for the protector to provide useful protection in an accident; suits all riding styles.
The peak force measured in the center part of the zone of protection (test area 01) shall not exceed a single strike value
of 35 kN. The single strikes in areas 02 and 03 shall not exceed a value of 50 Kn. The overall mean value shall not exceed
35 kN.
- Level 2: Riders feel that their riding style exposes them to an increased risk; Level 2 offers increased performance. The
peak force measured in the center part of the zone of protection (test area 01) shall not exceed a single strike value of
20 kN. The single strikes in areas 02 and 03 shall not exceed a value of 30 Kn. The overall mean value shall not exceed
20 kN.
FITTING – LIMB PROTECTOR INSERTS
The protector inserts should be inserted through the opening in the garment’s designated protector pocket (or tightly
attached to hook and loop fasteners if applicable). When using a pocket, the pocket’s opening should be hook and loop
fasteners closed after inserting. When using an asymmetrical protector, be sure to place the protector with the correct
indication at the correct side of the body. Make sure the protector ts in the pocket tightly and covers the designated
limb without hindering any freedom of movement. Refer to the second and last page of this booklet for more information
regarding correct protector tting and adjustment.

The insertion of impact protectors marked with CE in an article of clothing does not mean that the whole item
is marked CE and that it complies with the European Directive 89/686/EEC. The Seesmart limb protector
inserts are designed and built for exclusive use by motorcyclists and should only be used in combination
with an appropriate garment. DO NOT USE FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Do NOT permanently remove,
modify or repair the protectors tted in the garment. Only replace the protectors with protectors CE certied
to the same or higher level that t the pockets perfectly. Do not transfer Seesmart protectors into garments
not suited for them. Users of this product should be aware that temperature extremes below or above
ambient can negatively affect the impact characteristics of this protector. No product can offer complete
protection from injury or damage to individuals and property in case of a fall, collision or impact. Ensure that
your product is correctly used and tted into the garment; if the garment is not comfortable and limits any
freedom of movement, a different size garment should be chosen. Ensure that the garment and therefore
the protector is tted close to the body. Do not use any product that is worn, modied or damaged. REV’IT!
makes no guarantees or representations, express or implied, regarding the extent to which its products
protect individuals or property from injury or death or damage. REV’IT! disclaims all responsibility for damages
/ consequences deriving from tting the protectors in unsuitable items. In addition, REV’IT! disclaims all
responsibility in the case of removal or other disuse of the protectors, or protectors tted in unmarked clothes.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the protector before the garment is washed. If dirty, the protector can be cleaned with a damp cloth
and soapy water. Do not submerge the protector in water. Never clean the protector with strong cleaning
agents or solvents, as these could weaken the materials or damage the integrity of the protector. Do not
place heavy items on top of the protector and keep it away from direct heat sources and direct sunlight. The
protector should be periodically checked for wear and tear (annually at minimum) and should be replaced after
5 years from the rst usage. Although this protector is multi-impact rated, it should be checked after severe
impact and be replaced if the main structure is degraded or torn. The protector should only be used if it is in
perfect condition with no visible damage. Under no circumstances should the protector be repaired, altered
or modied, this includes the application of paints or dyes, which could compromise the material integrity.
Preferably transport the device in its packaging unit if applicable. The disposal of this product should be done
in compliance with local refuse regulations. This product is not hazardous and does not contain hazardous
materials.
LIMITATIONS ON USE
Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity and may result in serious personal injury including death. No
limb protector can provide guaranteed protection in event of a crash, and although wearing a limb protector
can reduce the chance of injury, it cannot prevent an injury happening and no guarantees or warranties,
express or implied, are made regarding the protector’s ability to avoid the risk of injury while riding. The
SEESMART protector range will protect against direct limited impact within the ‘Zone of Protection’ (as
described in EN 1621-1:2012); however this protector will NOT protect against torsion, twisting, severe
bending or high-energy impact to limbs or other parts of the body.

Informationen zu Gebrauch, Pege und Aufbewahrung der REV’IT! Seesmart Protektoreneinsätze. Dieses Merkblatt hilft
Ihnen, die Benutzung und Möglichkeiten dieses Produkts zu verstehen, damit es während seiner gesamten Lebensdauer
ein gleichbleibendes Leistungsvermögen erzielt. Dieser Protektor ist ein nach EN1621-1:2012 zertizierter Schutz. Er
gilt als PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) entsprechend der Europäischen Verordnung 89/686/EEC, als solcher
erfolgte die CE-Typ-Überprüfung durch die Prüfstelle (EU Prüfstellennummer N.0498): RICOTEST, Via Tione 9 – 37010
Pastrengo, Verona, Italien.
SCHLAGDÄMPFUNGSPRÜFUNG (CE-PRÜFTEST)
Ziel der Prüfung ist die Bestimmung der Schlagdämpfung, wie sie in der Norm EN EN 1621-1:2012 festgelegt ist. Zur
Ermittlung der Schlagdämpfung dienen zwei vorgeschriebene Falltests:
- ‘Umgebungs-Falltest’: Vorbereitung des Protektors: 48±0,5 Stunden bei 23±2° Celsius Umgebungstemperatur und
relativer Luftfeuchte von 50±5 %. Der ‘Umgebungs-Falltest’ ist innerhalb von 3 Minuten nach der Entnahme des Protektors
aus der vorgegebenen Umgebung durchzuführen.
- ‘Nass-Falltest’: Vorbereitung des Protektors: 72±0,5 Stunden in einer geschlossenen Kammer über Wasser mit
einer Temperatur von 70±2°C. Danach kommt der Protektor für weitere 24±0,5 Stunden in eine fest verschlossene,
wasserundurchlässige Tasche bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von 23±2°C. Der ‘Nass-Falltest’ ist innerhalb von 5
Minuten nach der Entnahme des Protektors aus der Tasche durchzuführen. Neben den vorgeschriebenen Umgebungs-
und Nass-Falltests deniert die EN1621-1:2012 zwei zusätzliche optionale Tests:
Den ‘Hochtemperatur-Falltest’ (Hersteller versprechen Schutz bis zu +40°C) und den ‘Niedrigtemperatur-Falltest’
(Hersteller versprechen Schutz bis zu -10°C). Bei allen Tests liegt der Protektor auf einem Amboss, auf den ein 5 kg
schweres, zylindrisches Gewicht aus etwa einem Meter Fallhöhe aufschlägt (die kinetische Aufschlagenergie sollte
mindestens 50 J betragen). Je niedriger der gemessene Restkraftwert ist, umso besser funktioniert die Schlagdämpfung
des Protektors. Der ‘Umgebungs-Falltest’ erfolgt dreimal an verschiedenen Stellen innerhalb einer vorgegebenen
‘Schutzzone’* des Protektors. Dieser Test wird an drei verschiedenen Protektor-Exemplaren durchgeführt, so dass
insgesamt neun Aufschläge durchgeführt werden. Der ‘Nass-Falltest’ wird analog zum ‘Umgebungs-Fallest’ durchgeführt.
Hierbei werden zwei Protektor-Exemplare geprüft mit einer Gesamtzahl von sechs Aufschlägen. EN1621-1:2012
beschreibt zwei verschiedene ‘TYPEN’ der Protektion in Abhängigkeit von der jeweiligen ‘Schutzzone’:
- TYPE A: Protektion für kleinere Größen; diese wird üblicherweise (aber nicht ausschließlich) bei kleineren Fahrern
verwendet.
- TYPE B: Protektion für größere Dimensionen; diese wird üblicherweise (aber nicht ausschließlich) bei größeren
Fahrern verwendet.
Darüber hinaus deniert die EN1621-1:2012 zwei Schutz-Levels:
- Level 1: Minimum-Level für einen wirksamen Schutz des Protektors bei einem Unfall, passend für alle Fahrstile.
Die Restkraft im Zentrum der Schutzzone (Testbereich 01) darf einen Höchstwert von 35 kN nicht überschreiten. Ein
Einzelaufprall in den Testbereichen 02 und 03 darf 50 Kn nicht überschreiten, der Durchschnittswert darf insgesamt nicht
mehr als 35 kN betragen.
- Level 2: Für Fahrer, deren Fahrstil ein höheres Risiko nahelegt; Level 2 bietet eine höhere Schutzwirkung. Die
Restkraft im Zentrum der Schutzzone (Testbereich 01) darf einen Höchstwert von 20 kN nicht überschreiten. Ein
Einzelaufprall in den Testbereichen 02 und 03 darf 30 Kn nicht überschreiten, der Durchschnittswert darf insgesamt nicht
mehr als 20 kN betragen.
INSTALLATION – PROTEKTORENEINSÄTZE
Die Protektoreneinsätze werden durch die Öffnung der in der Kleidung dafür vorgesehenen Taschen eingeführt (und
fest per Klett verbunden, wo dies möglich ist). Bei Taschen sollte die Öffnung nach Einführen des Protektors per
Klettverschluss sorgfältig verschlossen werden. Dabei muss die größte Fläche des SEESSOFT Protektors am Körper
des Trägers anliegen. Stellen Sie bei einem asymmetrischen Protektor sicher, dass er entsprechend der aufgedruckten
Bezeichnung an der richtigen Körperseite installiert ist. Der Protektor muss fest in der Tasche sitzen und die vorgesehene
Körperpartie abdecken, ohne die Bewegungsfreiheit einzuschränken. Schauen Sie sich die zweite und letzte Seite dieses

sitzt und fest mit dem Kleidungsstück verbunden ist. Sollte das Kleidungsstück nicht richtig sitzen und Ihre
Bewegungsfreiheit einengen, sollte eine andere Größe gewählt werden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Kleidung
und damit die Protektoren eng am Körper anliegen. Benutzen Sie kein Produkt, das verschlissen, verändert

EINSCHRÄNKUNGEN
Motorradfahren ist eine an sich gefährliche Tätigkeit und kann zu ernsthaften Verletzungen bis hin zum
Tod führen. Kein Protektor kann bei einem Unfall körperliche Unversehrtheit garantieren, und auch wenn
das Tragen eines Protektors die Möglichkeit einer Verletzung reduziert, ist eine solche Verletzung nicht
auszuschließen. Es gibt keine direkten oder indirekten Zusagen oder Garantien bezüglich der Möglichkeiten
des Protektors, eine Verletzung auszuschließen. Die Seesmart Protektoren schützen vor direkten Aufschlägen
innerhalb der Schutzzone (wie in der EN 1621-1:2012 deniert). Der Protektor schützt NICHT vor Torsionen,
Verdrehungen, Überdehnungen oder Aufprallverletzungen an Gliedmaßen oder anderen Körperteilen.

Entnehmen Sie den Protektor vor dem Waschen der Jacke. Reinigen Sie den Protektor mit einem feuchten
Tuch und milder Seifenlauge. Tauchen Sie ihn niemals in Wasser. Säubern Sie ihn niemals mit aggressiven
Mitteln, diese können das Material schwächen oder den Protektor selbst beschädigen. Legen Sie keine
schweren Gegenstände auf den Protektor und setzen ihn nicht direkten Wärmequellen oder unmittelbarem
Sonnenlicht aus. Untersuchen Sie den Protektor regelmäßig, mindestens einmal pro Jahr, auf Verschleiß
und Risse und ersetzen Sie ihn nach fünf Jahren. Auch wenn der Protektor mehrere Schläge verträgt, sollten
Sie ihn nach einem heftigen Aufprall untersuchen und austauschen, wenn er in seiner Struktur beschädigt
oder zerstört ist. Benutzen Sie den Protektor nur, wenn er in einem korrekten Zustand und unbeschädigt ist.
Sie sollten den Protektor niemals reparieren, modizieren oder verändern. Das gilt ebenfalls für Färben oder
Lackieren, weil dadurch das Material angegriffen werden kann. Transportieren das Produkt nur in seiner
Original-Verpackung. Entsorgen Sie dieses Produkt entsprechend Ihrer lokalen Vorschriften. Dieses Produkt

Motorradfahren ist eine an sich gefährliche Tätigkeit und kann zu ernsthaften Verletzungen bis hin zum
Tod führen. Kein Protektor kann bei einem Unfall körperliche Unversehrtheit garantieren, und auch wenn
das Tragen eines Protektors die Möglichkeit einer Verletzung reduziert, ist eine solche Verletzung nicht
auszuschließen. Es gibt keine direkten oder indirekten Zusagen oder Garantien bezüglich der Möglichkeiten
des Protektors, eine Verletzung auszuschließen. Die Seesmart Protektoren schützen vor direkten Aufschlägen
innerhalb der Schutzzone (wie in der EN 1621-1:2012 deniert). Der Protektor schützt NICHT vor Torsionen,
Verdrehungen, Überdehnungen oder Aufprallverletzungen an Gliedmaßen oder anderen Körperteilen.

Informatie over het gebruiken, onderhouden en bewaren van REV’IT! Seesmart insteek ledemaatprotectoren. Het
lezen van deze leaet geeft je inzicht in het gebruik en de mogelijkheden van dit product en verzekert een blijvende
performance. Deze ledemaatprotector is CE gecerticeerde bescherming volgens EN1621-1:2012. Deze items zijn
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) volgens Europese Voorschriften 89/686/EEC en in dat kader is een CE keuring
afgenomen op deze items door een geregistreerde instantie (EU geregistreerde instantie nummer N.0498): RICOTEST,
Via Tone 9, 37010- Pastrengo, Verona, Italië.
ENERGIETRANSMISSIE TEST (CE CERTIFICATIE TEST)
Het doel van de energietransmissie test is om de schokabsorptie te bepalen op basis van de specicaties zoals
aanbevolen volgens EN 1621-1:2012. Om de energietransmissie te berekenen, wordt de protector getest door middel van
twee verplichte impact tests:
- ‘Kamertemperatuur impact test’: Conditioneren van de protector: 48±0,5 uur in een atmosfeer van 23±2°C en een
relatieve vochtigheid van 50±5%. De ‘Kamertemperatuur impact test’ wordt uitgevoerd binnen 3 minuten na verwijdering
uit deze conditionering.
- ‘Natte impact test’: Conditioneren van de protector: 72±0,5 uur in een gesloten ruimte boven water bij een temperatuur
van 70±2°C. Vervolgens worden de protectoren nog eens 24±0,5 uur in een strak afgesloten waterdampdichte tas op
kamertemperatuur van 23±2°C geplaatst. De ‘Natte impact test’ wordt uitgevoerd binnen 5 minuten na verwijdering uit
deze conditionering. Behalve de verplichte Kamertemperatuur en Natte impact tests, beschrijft EN1621-1:2012 twee
optionele tests:
‘Hoge temperatuur impact test’ (fabrikant claimt bescherming tot +40°C) en ‘Lage temperatuur impact test’
(fabrikant claimt bescherming tot -10°C). In alle tests wordt de protector op een aambeeld geplaatst en geraakt door
een slagpin van 5 kg (11 lbs), die valt van een hoogte van 1 meter (de kinetische energie van de impact moet minimaal
50J zijn). Hoe lager de waarde van de gemeten energietransmissie, des te beter de schokabsorptie van de protector.
De ‘Kamertemperatuur impact test’ wordt driemaal uitgevoerd: eentje in ieder testgebied van een vooraf bepaalde
‘Beschermingszone’* op de protector. Deze test wordt op drie verschillende protector samples herhaald, waardoor
er in totaal negen impacts worden nagebootst. De ‘Natte impact test’ wordt op dezelfde manier uitgevoerd als de
‘Kamertemperatuur impact test’. Deze impact tests worden echter uitgevoerd op twee verschillende protector samples,
dus in totaal worden er zes impacts nagebootst.
EN1621-1:2012 beschrijft twee verschillende ‘TYPE’ bescherming, ieder met hun eigen ‘Beschermingszones’:
- TYPE A: ledemaatprotectie die wordt beschreven in kleinere dimensies; deze worden meestal (doch niet uitsluitend)
geoptimaliseerd voor gebruik door kleinere rijders.
- TYPE B: ledemaatprotectie die wordt beschreven in grotere dimensies; deze worden meestal (doch niet uitsluitend)
geoptimaliseerd voor gebruik door langere rijders.
Verder beschrijft EN1621-1:2012 twee beschermingsniveaus:
- Level 1: Het minimale niveau dat nodig is voor de protector om zinvolle bescherming te bieden bij een ongeluk en om
te passen bij alle rijstijlen. De piek performance gemeten in het centrale deel van de beschermingszone (testgebied 01)
mag bij een enkele impact niet hoger zijn dan 35 kN. De enkele impact in gebieden 02 en 03 mogen niet groter zijn dan 50
kN. De overall waarde mag niet groter zijn dan 35 kN.
- Level 2: Rijders die vinden dat hun rijstijl ze blootstelt aan meer risico; Level 2 biedt meer performance. De piek
performance gemeten in het centrale deel van de beschermingszone (testgebied 01) mag bij een enkele impact niet groter
zijn dan 20 kN. De enkele impact in gebieden 02 en 03 mag niet groter zijn dan 30 kN. De overall waarde mag niet groter
zijn dan 20 kN.
PASSEN – LEDEMAATPROTECTOREN
De protectoren dienen in de daarvoor bestemde openingen van de kledingstukken gestoken te worden (of stevig met
klittenband bevestigd, indien van toepassing). In het geval van een zak, moet de opening daarvan met klittenband worden
afgesloten. In geval van een asymmetrische protector, zorg er dan voor dat de protector met de juiste aanduiding aan de
juiste kan van het lichaam gedragen wordt. Zorg dat de protector goed in de zak past en de ledemaat goed bedekt, zonder
de bewegingsvrijheid te beperken. Lees de voorlaatste en laatste pagina van deze leaet goed, voor meer informatie over
het op de juiste manier plaatsen en verstellen van de protectoren.

Het insteken van protectoren met een CE-keurmerk in een kledingstuk leidt er niet toe dat het hele kledingstuk
CE-gecerticeerd is en dat het voldoet aan Europees voorschrift 89/686/EEC. De Seesmart ledemaatprotector
is alleen ontworpen en geproduceerd voor gebruik door motorrijders en dient alleen te worden gebruikt in
combinatie met daartoe bestemde kledingstukken. NIET GEBRUIKEN VOOR ANDERE DOELEINDEN. U
dient de in het kledingstuk verwerkte protectoren NIET blijvend te verwijderen of te modiceren. Vervang
de protectoren alleen door protectoren van eenzelfde of hoger protectieniveau, die perfect passen in de
daarvoor bestemde zakken. Gebruik Seesmart protectoren niet in kledingstukken die daarvoor niet geschikt
zijn. Gebruikers van dit product dienen zich ervan bewust te zijn dat extreme temperatuurwaarden onder of
boven kamertemperatuur een negatief effect kunnen hebben op de eigenschappen van de protector. Geen
enkel product kan een complete bescherming bieden tegen verwondingen of beschadigingen aan personen
en goederen in geval van een val, botsing of impact. Zorg dat je product juist wordt gebruikt en goed past in
het kledingstuk; indien het kledingstuk niet comfortabel zit en je bewegingsvrijheid beperkt, dien je een andere
maat kledingstuk te kiezen. Zorg dat het kledingstuk en daarmee de protector dicht op het lichaam gedragen
wordt. Gebruik geen product dat versleten, gemodiceerd of beschadigd is. REV’IT! Sport International geeft
geen garanties of voorspellingen, expliciet of impliciet, met betrekking tot de mate waarin producten personen
of goederen beschermen tegen verwondingen, de dood of schade. REV’IT! Sport International is niet

Motorrijden is een intrinsiek gevaarlijke activiteit, die kan leiden tot zware verwondingen en zelfs de dood.
Geen enkele ledemaatprotector kan bescherming garanderen in geval van een crash, en hoewel het dragen
van een ledemaatprotector de kans op verwondingen kan reduceren, kan het een dergelijke verwonding niet
voorkomen en worden er geen garanties of verzekeringen gegeven, expliciet of impliciet, met betrekking tot
het voorkomen van het risico op verwondingen tijdens het rijden. De Seesmart protector serie beschermt
tegen directe beperkte impact (zoals beschreven in EN 1621-1:2012) binnen de ‘Protectiezone’; deze
protector biedt echter GEEN bescherming tegen torsie, verdraaiing, zware buiging of hoogenergetische
impact op ledematen of andere lichaamsdelen.

OPSLAG- EN ONDERHOUDSINSTRUCTIES
Verwijder de protector voordat het kledingstuk gewassen wordt. Indien vies, kan de protector schoongemaakt
worden met een vochtige doek en een sopje. Dompel de protector niet onder in water. Maak de protector
nooit schoon met krachtige schoonmaakmiddelen of oplosmiddelen, aangezien deze het materiaal kunnen
verzwakken of de samenstelling van de protector kunnen aantasten. Plaats geen zware voorwerpen op de
protector en houd hem weg van directe warmtebronnen en direct zonlicht. De protector dient regelmatig
(in ieder geval jaarlijks) gecontroleerd worden op slijtage en moet 5 jaar na het eerste gebruik vervangen
worden. Hoewel deze protector multi-impact is gekeurd, moet hij na iedere zware impact gecontroleerd
worden en vervangen worden indien de hoofdstructuur beschadigd of gescheurd is. De protector dient
alleen gebruikt te worden indien hij in perfecte staat is, zonder visuele schade. Onder geen beding mag
de rugprotector gerepareerd, aangepast of gemodiceerd worden; hieronder vallen ook het aanbrengen
van verf of bleekmiddelen, wat de samenstelling van het materiaal kan aantasten. Vervoer het item in de
oorspronkelijke verpakking. Het afvoeren van dit product dient te gebeuren in overeenstemming met lokale
afvalverwerkingsvoorschriften. Het product is niet gevaarlijk en bevat geen gevaarlijke stoffen.

TEST D’ÉNERGIE RÉSIDUELLE (TEST D’HOMOLOGATION CE)
L’objectif du test de transmission d’énergie est de déterminer l’amorti des chocs d’après les spécications dénies par
la norme EN 1621-1:2012. Pour calculer la transmission d’énergie, la protection est testée conformément à 2 tests
d’impact obligatoires: - ‘Test d’impact à température ambiante’: Préparation de la protection : 48±0,5 heures dans
une atmosphère à 23±2 ºC avec humidité relative de 50±5 %. Le « Test d’impact à température ambiante » est effectué
dans un délai de 3 min après avoir retiré la protection de l’environnement de préparation. - ‘Test d’impact en milieu
humide’: Préparation de la protection : 72±0,5 heures dans une chambre hermétique au-dessus d’une eau maintenue à
une température de 70±2 ºC. Ensuite, les protections sont remises pendant une période de 24±0,5 heures dans un sac
hermétique à la vapeur d’eau, à une température ambiante de 23±2 ºC. Le « Test d’impact en milieu humide » est effectué
dans un délai de cinq minutes après avoir retiré le dispositif de protection de son environnement de préparation. En
dehors des tests d’impact à température ambiante et en milieu humide obligatoires, la norme EN1621-1:2012 décrit deux
autre tests facultatifs: ‘Test d’impact à haute température’ (le fabricant garantit une protection jusqu’à +40 ºC) et ‘Test
d’impact à basse température’ (le fabricant garantit une protection jusqu’à -10 ºC). Dans tous les tests, la protection est
placée sur une enclume et elle est frappée par un percuteur pesant 5 kg (11 lbs), qui est lâché d’une hauteur d’environ
1 m (l’énergie cinétique de l’impact doit être d’au moins 50 J). Plus l’énergie transmise est faible, plus le dispositif de
protection amortit le choc. Le « Test d’impact à température ambiante » est réalisé trois fois à différents endroits de la
‘zone de protection’* prédéterminée de la protection. Ce test est répété sur trois échantillons différents, pour un total de
neuf tests d’impact. Le ‘Test d’impact en milieu humide’ est effectué la même manière que le ‘Test d’impact à température
ambiante’. Toutefois, ces tests d’impact sont effectués sur deux échantillons différents pour un total de six tests d’impact.
La norme EN1621-1:2012 décrit deux ‘TYPES’ de protections ayant chacune leurs ‘Zones de protection’:
- TYPE A: la protection des membres est référencée comme étant de plus petite dimension ; ce type de protection est
communément (mais pas exclusivement) optimisé pour une utilisation par des motocyclistes de plus petit gabarit.
- TYPE B: protection des membres référencée comme étant de plus grande dimension ; ce type de protection est
communément (mais pas exclusivement) optimisé pour une utilisation par des motocyclistes de plus grand gabarit. De
plus, la norme EN1621-1:2012 décrit deux niveaux de protection:
- Niveau 1: Niveau minimum requis pour que la protection soit utile en cas d’accident et convienne à tous les styles de
conduite de moto. La force maximale mesurée au centre de la zone de protection (zone de test 01) ne doit pas dépasser
une valeur de 35 kN sur un impact. La force mesurée dans les zones 02 et 03 ne doit pas dépasser une valeur de 50 Kn
sur un impact. La valeur moyenne globale ne doit pas dépasser 35 kN.
- Niveau 2: S’adresse aux motocyclistes estimant que leur style de conduite les expose à un risque plus grand ; le
niveau 2 offre une meilleure protection. La force maximale mesurée à la partie centrale de la zone de protection (zone de
test 01) ne doit pas dépasser une valeur de 20 kN sur un impact. La force mesurée dans les zones 02 et 03 ne doit pas
dépasser une valeur de 30 Kn sur un impact. La valeur moyenne globale ne doit pas dépasser 20 kN.

MISE EN PLACE – GARNITURES DE PROTECTION DES MEMBRES
Les garnitures de protection doivent être placées à l’intérieur des poches prévues à cet effet (ou bien xées par du
fermeture scratch le cas échéant). Dans le cas d’une poche, l’ouverture de la poche doit se fermer par un fermeture
scratch une fois la garniture insérée. Dans le cas d’une protection asymétrique, veillez à placer la protection en suivant les
indications et du bon côté du corps. Faites en sorte que la protection soit bien ajustée et qu’elle couvre le membre désigné
sans entraver la liberté de mouvement. Reportez-vous à la deuxième et à la dernière page de cette brochure pour obtenir

CONSIGNES D’ENTRETIEN ET D’ENTREPOSAGE
Retirez la protection avant de laver le vêtement. Si la protection est sale, la nettoyer à l’aide d’un chiffon
humide et d’eau savonneuse. Ne pas immerger la protection dans l’eau. Ne jamais nettoyer la protection
avec des détergents ou solvants puissants, dans la mesure où cela affaiblirait le matériau ou endommagerait
l’intégrité de la protection. Ne pas placer d’objets lourds sur la protection et la garder à distance des sources
de chaleur et de la lumière du soleil. Vériez régulièrement le niveau d’usure de la protection (au moins
chaque année) et remplacer celle-ci après cinq ans d’utilisation. Si la protection peut supporter plusieurs
impacts, elle doit être vériée après tout impact sévère et doit être remplacée si la structure principale est
dégradée ou déchirée. La protection ne doit être utilisée que si elle est en parfait état, sans dommages
visibles. En aucune circonstance, la protection ne doit être réparée, altérée ou modiée. Cela inclut
l’application de peinture ou de teinture, qui pourrait compromettre l’intégrité du matériau. Transporter de
préférence le dispositif dans son emballage, le cas échéant. Ce produit doit être éliminé conformément aux
réglementations locales. Ce produit n’est pas dangereux et ne contient pas de substances dangereuses.

Nota informativa per l’uso, la cura e la conservazione degli inserti protettivi per arti REV’IT! Seesmart. Questo opuscolo
aiuterà a capire l’uso e le possibilità di questo articolo, e contribuirà a garantire le prestazioni per tutto il suo ciclo di vita.
Questa protezione per arti è una Protezione Certicata CE secondo la normativa EN1621 1:2012. Questi articoli sono
considerati DPI (Dispositivi di Protezione Individuale) secondo la Direttiva Europea 89/686/EEC, e come tali un’ispezione
CE è stata condotta su di essi da un ente noticato (ente noticato EU numero N.0498): RICOTEST Via Tione, 9 - 37010
Pastrengo (VR).
TEST DI TRASMISSIONE DELL’ENERGIA (TEST DI CERTIFICAZIONE CE)
L’obiettivo del test di trasmissione dell’energia è di determinare l’assorbimento dell’energia degli urti basandosi sulle
speciche raccomandate dalla normativa EN 1621 1:2012. Per calcolare la trasmissione di energia, la protezione viene
testata secondo due prove di impatto obbligatorie:
- “Test di impatto in ambiente controllato”. Condizionamento della protezione: 48±0,5 ore in un ambiente con 23±2°C
ed un’umidità relativa del 50±5 %. Il “Test di impatto in ambiente controllato” è effettuato entro 3 minuti dalla rimozione dal
condizionamento.
- “Test di impatto in umidità”. Condizionamento della protezione: 72±0,5 ore in una camera chiusa al di sopra di acqua
mantenuta ad una temperatura di 70±2°C. Successivamente le protezioni sono poste per altre 24±0,5 ore in una borsa a
prova di vapore acqueo ben chiusa ad una temperatura ambientale di 23±2°C. Il “Test di impatto in umidità” è effettuato
entro 5 minuti dalla rimozione del condizionamento. Oltre ai test obbligatori di impatto in ambiente controllato ed in
umidità, la normativa EN1621 1:2012 descrive due test opzionali:
“Test di impatto ad alta temperatura” (il produttore dichiara efcacia no a +40°C) ”Test di impatto a bassa
temperatura” (il produttore dichiara efcacia no a -10°C). In tutti i test la protezione è posizionata su di un’incudine e
colpita da un perno pesante 5kg che cade da un’altezza di approssimativamente 1 metro (l’energia cinetica dell’impatto
deve essere di almeno 50J). Minore il livello di energia trasmessa misurata, migliore l’assorbimento degli urti della
protezione. Il “Test di impatto in ambiente controllato” è effettuato tre volte: ognuna in ciascuna area di prova di una ‘Zona
di protezione’* predeterminata sulla protezione. Questo test è ripetuto su tre differenti campioni della protezione, quindi
viene effettuato un totale di nove impatti. Il “Test di impatto in umidità” è effettuato nella stessa maniera del “Test di impatto
in ambiente controllato”. Tuttavia questi test di impatto vengono eseguiti su due campioni diversi della protezione, per un
totale di sei impatti. La Normativa EN1621 1:2012 descrive due “TYPE” di protezioni differenti con ciascuno le sue proprie
“Zone di Protezione”:
- TYPE A: Protezioni degli arti che si deniscono di dimensione minore; queste sono comunemente (anche se non
esclusivamente) ottimizzate per l’uso con motociclisti più piccoli.
- TYPE B: Protezioni degli arti che si deniscono di dimensione maggiore; queste sono comunemente (anche se non
esclusivamente) ottimizzate per l’uso con motociclisti più grandi.
Inoltre EN1621 1:2012 descrive due livelli di protezione:
- Livello 1: il minimo livello richiesto afnché il protettore fornisca protezione utile in un incidente e sua adatto a tutti gli
stili di guida. Il picco di forza misurato nella parte centrale della zona di protezione (area di test 01) non deve eccedere
individualmente il valore di 35 kN. I colpi nelle aree 02 e 03 non devono eccedere individualmente il valore di 50 Kn. Il
valore medio totale non deve eccedere i 35 kN.
- Livello 2: i motociclisti capiscono che il loro stile di guida li espone ad un rischio maggiore; Il Livello 2 offre migliori
prestazioni. Il picco di forza misurato nella parte centrale della zona di protezione (area di test 01) non deve eccedere
individualmente il valore di 20 kN. I colpi nelle aree 02 e 03 non devono eccedere individualmente il valore di 30 Kn. Il
valore medio totale non deve eccedere i 20 kN.
COLLOCAZIONE – INSERTI PROTEZIONI PER ARTI
Le protezioni devono essere inserite attraverso l’apposita apertura nel capo (o ancorate tramite chiusura a strappo a
seconda del caso). Nel caso di una tasca, l’apertura deve essere chiusa col chiusura a strappo dopo l’inserimento. Nel
caso di una protezione asimmetrica, assicurarsi di collocare la protezione con l’indicazione corrispondente al lato del
corpo. Assicurarsi che la protezione stia stretta nell’apposita tasca e che copra l’arto designato senza limitare la libertà
di movimento. Date una lettura attenta alla seconda e ultima pagina di questo opuscolo per avere maggiori informazioni
riguardanti il corretto posizionamento e regolazione delle protezioni.

morte. Nessuna protezione per arti può fornire garanzia di protezione nell’evento di una caduta, e sebbene
indossandone una si possano ridurre le possibilità di lesioni, non può prevenire una lesione di questo tipo
ed alcuna garanzia esplicita o implicita è espressa riguardo all’abilità della protezione di evitare il rischio di
lesione mentre si è alla guida. La protezione Seesmart proteggerà da impatto diretto limitato alla “Zona di
Protezione”; in ogni caso questa protezione (come descritto nella normativa EN 1621 1:2012); tuttavia NON
proteggerà da torsione, essione grave o impatto ad alta energia agli arti o ad altre parti del corpo.

ISTRUZIONI PER LA CONSERVAZIONE E MANUTENZIONE
Rimuovere la protezione prima di lavare il capo. Se sporca, la protezione può essere pulita con un panno
umido ed acqua saponata. Non sommergere la protezione in acqua. Mai pulirla con detergenti forti o solventi,
poiché questi possono indebolire i materiali o danneggiare l’integrità della protezione. Non posizionare oggetti
pesanti sulla protezione e mantenerla distante da fonti di calore dirette e dalla luce solare. La protezione deve
essere controllata periodicamente per usura (almeno una volta all’anno) e deve essere sostituita dopo 5 anni
dal primo utilizzo. Sebbene questa protezione sia classicata multi-impatto, deve essere controllata dopo un
impatto severo e sostituita se la struttura principale è degradata o strappata. La protezione deve essere usata
unicamente se è in perfette condizioni senza danni visibili. In nessuna circostanza la protezione può essere
riparata, alterata o modicata, includendo l’applicazione di vernici o tinture, le quali potrebbero compromettere

indossandone una si possano ridurre le possibilità di lesioni, non può prevenire una lesione di questo tipo
ed alcuna garanzia esplicita o implicita è espressa riguardo all’abilità della protezione di evitare il rischio di
lesione mentre si è alla guida. La protezione Seesmart proteggerà da impatto diretto limitato alla “Zona di

Información para el uso, cuidado y almacenamiento de las protecciones interiores para extremidades y articulaciones
Seesmart de REV’IT! La lectura de este folleto lo ayudará a entender el uso y las características de este producto y
garantizar su ecacia durante toda su vida útil. Esta protección está homologada como CE Certied Armor según la
norma EN1621-1:2012. Estos artículos se consideran EPI (Equipo de Protección Individual) de acuerdo con la directiva
europea 89/686/EEC, y como tales han sido sometidos a un examen de tipo CE por parte del Organismo Noticado n.º
0498, RICOTEST (Via Tione, 9, 37010 - Pastrengo, Verona, Italia).
PRUEBA DE TRANSMISIÓN DE ENERGÍA (PRUEBA DE HOMOLOGACIÓN CE)
La prueba de transmisión de energía determina la absorción de impacto basándose en los requisitos determinados en
la norma EN 1621-1:2012. Para calcular su transmisión de energía, la protección se examina mediante dos pruebas de
impacto obligatorias: - ‘Prueba de impacto en ambiente medio’: Climatización de la protección: 48±0,5 horas en una
atmósfera a 23±2 °C con una humedad relativa del 50±5 %. La «Prueba de impacto en ambiente medio» se realiza 3
minutos después de la extracción de la atmósfera controlada. - ‘Prueba de impacto en húmedo’: Climatización de la
protección: 72±0,5 horas en una cámara cerrada sobre agua mantenida a una temperatura de 70±2 °C. Después, la
protección se coloca durante otras 24±0,5 horas en una bolsa cerrada a prueba de vapor de agua a una temperatura
ambiente de 23±2 °C. La «Prueba de impacto en húmedo» se realiza 5 minutos después de la extracción de la atmósfera
controlada. Aparte de las pruebas obligatorias de impacto en ambiente medio y en húmedo, la norma EN 1621-1:2012
describe dos pruebas opcionales: ‘Prueba de impacto a alta temperatura’ (el fabricante asegura protección hasta +40
°C) y ‘Prueba de impacto a baja temperatura’ (el fabricante asegura protección hasta -10 °C). En todas las pruebas
la protección se coloca sobre un yunque y se golpea con un percutor de 5 kg que cae desde una altura de 1 metro,
aproximadamente (la energía cinética del impacto debe ser por lo menos de 50 J). Cuanto menor sea el valor registrado
de la transmisión de energía, mejor será la absorción de impacto de la protección. La «Prueba de impacto en ambiente
medio» se realiza tres veces: una en cada área de prueba de una ‘Zona de Protección’* predeterminada. Esta prueba
se repite con tres ejemplares diferentes de la protección, de modo que se lleva a cabo un total de nueve impactos. La
«Prueba de impacto en húmedo» se realiza de la misma forma que la «Prueba de impacto en ambiente medio». De todas
formas, estas pruebas de impacto se realizan con dos unidades diferentes de la protección, de modo que se lleva a cabo
un total de seis impactos. La norma EN 1621-1:2012 establece dos tipos distintos de protecciones, cada una de ellas con
sus propias «Zonas de Protección»:
- TIPO A: protecciones de extremidades de menores dimensiones, comúnmente (aunque no exclusivamente) destinadas
a pilotos de pequeño tamaño.
- TIPO B: protecciones de extremidades de mayores dimensiones, comúnmente (aunque no exclusivamente) destinadas
a pilotos de mayor tamaño.
Además, la norma EN 1621-1:2012 establece dos niveles de protección:
- Nivel 1: El nivel mínimo obligatorio para que la protección resulte útil en caso de accidente y sea apropiada para todos
los estilos de conducción. La fuerza máxima registrada en la parte central de la protección (área de prueba 01) no debe
superar un valor de 35 kN por impacto. Ningún impacto en las áreas 02 y 03 debe superar un valor de 50 kN. El valor
medio global no debe superar los 35 kN.
- Nivel 2: Para los pilotos que sienten que su estilo de conducción los expone a un mayor riesgo, el nivel 02 ofrece unas
prestaciones aumentadas. La fuerza máxima registrada en la parte central de la zona de protección (área de prueba 01)
no debe superar un valor de 20 kN por cada impacto. Ninguno de los impactos en las áreas 02 y 03 debe superar un valor
de 30 kN. El valor medio global no debe superar los 20 kN.
MONTAJE - PROTECCIONES INTERIORES PARA EXTREMIDADES
La protección interior debe introducirse a través de la abertura del bolsillo especíco de la prenda (o adherirse rmemente
al cierre de gancho y bucle, cuando corresponda). En el caso de los bolsillos, su abertura debe cerrarse con el cierre de
gancho y bucle después de introducirla. En el caso de las protecciones asimétricas, asegúrese de colocar la protección
con la indicación correcta en el lado correcto del cuerpo. Asegúrese de que la protección queda bien ajustada dentro del
bolsillo y cubre la zona del cuerpo para la que está destinada sin entorpecer su libertad de movimientos. Échele un buen

La inserción de protecciones contra impactos con homologación CE en una prenda no implica que toda ella
tenga la homologación CE ni que cumpla con la Directiva Europea 89/686/EEC. Las protecciones interiores
para extremidades Seesmart han sido diseñadas y construidas exclusivamente para su uso por parte de
motoristas, y sólo deben utilizarse conjuntamente con una prenda adecuada. NO LAS UTILICE PARA OTROS
FINES. NO modique, repare ni extraiga permanentemente las protecciones introducidas en la prenda. A la
hora de reemplazar las protecciones, hágalo únicamente con otras que posean una homologación CE de
un nivel igual o superior y encajen perfectamente en los bolsillos. No utilice las protecciones Seesmart en
prendas que no sean aptas para ellas. Las temperaturas extremas inferiores o superiores a la temperatura
ambiente pueden afectar negativamente a las características de impacto de esta protección. Ningún
producto puede ofrecer una protección absoluta frente a daños personales ni materiales en caso de caída,
colisión o impacto. Asegúrese de usar su producto correctamente y bien colocado dentro de la prenda. Si
la prenda no resulta cómoda o limita la libertad de movimientos, deberá elegir otra talla más adecuada.

MANTENIMIENTO Y CONSERVACIÓN
Extraiga las protecciones antes de lavar la prenda. En caso de que esté sucia, la protección puede limpiarse
con un paño húmedo y agua jabonosa. No la sumerja en agua. No la limpie nunca con productos fuertes ni
disolventes, ya que podrían debilitar sus materiales o dañar su integridad. No coloque objetos pesados sobre
ella, y manténgala alejada de la luz solar y de fuentes de calor directo. Debe comprobarse periódicamente
(como mínimo una vez al año) si la protección ha sufrido desgaste natural, y hay que reemplazarla pasados
5 años del primer uso. Pese a estar homologada para múltiples impactos, la protección debe revisarse
tras un impacto grave, y reemplazarse en caso de que la estructura principal esté deteriorada o rasgada.
Esta protección debería usarse únicamente en perfectas condiciones y sin daños visibles. Bajo ninguna
circunstancia deberá intentarse repararla, modicarla ni alterarla, incluyendo la aplicación de pinturas o
tintes, que podrían comprometer la integridad del material. Es preferible transportar siempre el producto en
su paquete original. A la hora de deshacerse de este producto deberá respetarse la normativa local sobre
desperdicios. Este producto no es peligroso ni contiene materiales que lo sean.
LIMITACIONES DE USO
El motociclismo es una actividad intrínsecamente peligrosa, y puede conllevar graves daños personales o
incluso la muerte. Ninguna protección para extremidades puede proporcionar una garantía total de protección
en caso de accidente, y pese a que llevarla puede reducir las probabilidades de sufrir daños, no puede

Nota informativa relativa à utilização, os cuidados e o armazenamento das proteções interiores de membros Seesmart
da REV’IT! A leitura deste folheto irá ajudá-lo a compreender a utilização e as potencialidades deste produto e permitirá
assegurar o seu desempenho contínuo durante toda a vida útil do produto. Esta proteção de membros é uma Armadura
com Certicação CE relativamente à norma EN1621-1:2012. Estes itens são considerados EPI (Equipamento de
Proteção Individual) segundo a Diretiva Europeia 89/686/CEE e, como tal, foi realizado um exame CE de tipo a estes
itens por um organismo noticado (organismo noticado da UE N.0498): RICOTEST, Via Tione, 9, 37010 - Pastrengo,
Verona, Itália.
TESTE DE TRANSMISSÃO DE ENERGIA (TESTE DE CERTIFICAÇÃO CE)
O objectivo do teste de transmissão de energia consiste em determinar a absorção de impactos com base nas
especicações denidas pela norma EN 1621-1:2012. Para calcular a transmissão de energia, a proteção é testada
de acordo com 2 testes obrigatórios de impacto: - ‘Teste de impacto a temperatura ambiente’: Acondicionamento da
proteção: 48±0,5 horas numa atmosfera de 23±2 graus celsius e a uma humidade relativa de 50±5%. O ‘Teste de impacto
a temperatura ambiente’ é efectuado no período de 3 min. depois da remoção do acondicionamento. - ‘Teste de impacto
em atmosfera húmida’: Acondicionamento da proteção: 72±0,5 horas numa câmara fechada acima da água mantida a
uma temperatura de 70±2° C. Em seguida, as proteções são colocadas durante outras 24±0,5 horas num saco de teste
de vapor de água bem fechado a uma temperatura ambiente de 23±2° C. O ‘Teste de impacto em atmosfera húmida’ é
efectuado no período de 5 min. depois da remoção do acondicionamento. Para além dos testes obrigatórios de impacto a
temperatura ambiente e em atmosfera húmida, a norma EN1621-1:2012 descreve dois testes opcionais:
O ‘Teste de impacto a temperatura elevada’ (o fabricante declara uma proteção até +40 °C) e o ‘Teste de impacto
a baixa temperatura’ (o fabricante declara uma proteção até -10 °C). Em todos os testes a proteção é colocada numa
bigorna e é atingida por um martelo de 5 kg que cai de uma altura de aproximadamente 1 metro (a energia cinética de
impacto deve ser de 50 J, no mínimo). Quanto menor for o valor da transmissão de energia medida, melhor é a absorção
de impactos da proteção. O ‘Teste de impacto a temperatura ambiente’ é realizado três vezes: uma vez em cada área
de teste de uma ‘Zona de proteção’* pré-determinada na proteção. Este teste é repetido em três amostras diferentes
da proteção, sendo assim realizado um total de nove impactos. O ‘Teste de impacto em atmosfera húmida’ é efectuado
da mesma forma que o ‘Teste de impacto a temperatura ambiente’. No entanto, estes testes de impacto são efectuados
em duas amostras diferentes da proteção, sendo assim realizado um total de seis impactos. A norma EN1621-1:2012
descreve dois ‘TIPOS’ de proteção diferentes cada um com as suas próprias ‘Zonas de proteção’:
- TIPO A: proteções para membros de menor dimensão; estas são habitualmente (embora não exclusivamente)
optimizadas para serem utilizadas por motociclistas mais pequenos.
- TIPO B: proteções para membros de maior dimensão; estas são habitualmente (embora não exclusivamente)
optimizadas para serem utilizadas por motociclistas maiores.
Para além disso, a norma EN1621-1:2012 descreve dois níveis de proteção:
- Nível 1: O nível mínimo necessário para que a proteção forneça uma proteção útil num acidente e se adeqúe a todos
os estilos de condução. A força máxima medida na parte central da zona de proteção (área de teste 01) não deve exceder
um único valor de impacto de 35 kN. Os impactos individuais nas áreas 02 e 03 não devem exceder um valor de 50 kN. O
valor médio global não deve exceder os 35 kN.
- Nível 2: Os motociclistas consideram que o seu estilo de condução os expõe a um risco aumentado; o Nível 2 oferece

MONTAGEM – INSERÇÕES PARA PROTEÇÃO DE MEMBROS
As inserções de proteção devem ser inseridas através da abertura nos bolsos designados para as proteções nas peças
de vestuário (ou xadas rmemente com fecho de gancho e laço, se aplicável). Caso se trate de um bolso, a abertura do
bolso deve ser fechada com Fecho de gancho e laço após inserir a proteção. Caso se trate de uma proteção assimétrica,
certique-se de que coloca a proteção com a indicação correta do lado correto do corpo. Certique-se de que a proteção
ca bem inserida no bolso e tapa o membro designado sem prejudicar a liberdade de movimentos. Veja com atenção a
segunda e última página deste folheto para obter mais informações sobre a montagem e ajuste corretos da proteção.

INSTRUÇÕES DE ARMAZENAMENTO E MANUTENÇÃO
Retire a proteção antes de lavar a peça de vestuário. Se estiver suja, a proteção pode ser limpa com um
pano húmido e água com sabão. Não mergulhe a proteção em água. Nunca limpe a proteção com agentes
ou solventes de limpeza fortes, pois podem enfraquecer os materiais ou danicar a integridade da proteção.
Não coloque itens pesados em cima da proteção e mantenha-a afastada de fontes de calor diretas e da luz
solar direta. A proteção deve ser periodicamente vericada quanto a desgaste (pelo menos anualmente) e
deve ser substituída após 5 anos a contar da primeira utilização. Embora esta proteção esteja classicada
para múltiplos impactos, deve ser vericada depois de impactos fortes e ser substituída se a estrutura
principal estiver degradada ou rasgada. A proteção só deve ser utilizada se estiver em perfeitas condições e
sem danos visíveis. Em nenhuma circunstância deverá reparar, alterar ou modicar a proteção; isto inclui a
aplicação de tintas ou corantes, que poderão comprometer a integridade do material. Transporte o dispositivo,
de preferência, na respectiva embalagem, se aplicável. A eliminação deste produto deve ser efectuada de
acordo com os regulamentos locais sobre resíduos. Este produto não é perigoso nem contém materiais
perigosos.
