
PERIODIC INSPECTION
1) A periodic inspection of the electric height adjustable wall shower stretcher should be done at least once per
year It consists in a visual inspection, especially of the structure supporting the charge (wall frame) and of the lifting devices
(actuators), as well as of security attachments (pins on the security side rail), hand control, draining system (collection tub
and draining pipe) and patient electric and supporting devices (tightening wheels on the backrest)
2) The periodic inspection should be completed by someone having the necessary qualifications and having good
knowledge of its use and maintenance The periodic inspection should be detailed in the user guide
3) All important information should be notified in the maintenance book which has to be updated by the person
in charge of the maintenance and service of the electric height adjustable wall shower stretcher
The date of corrections brought in answer to observations should also be notified in the maintenance book
4) The person in charge of the maintenance will notify the date of inspection as well as its result in the
maintenance book and sign it
Parts participating in the support of the patient which are removable will have to be identified and detailed in the
maintenance book and controlled Notifications should include the conditions of use (nursing home, etc…)
5) In case the periodic inspection would identify defaults, damaged parts or any type of deterioration which could
challenge the security of the patient on the electric height adjustable wall shower stretcher, then the owner should be
informed immediately If it concerns any immediate danger, the shower stretcher should be withdrawn from use It should
be used again only after its repair
6) It is important to notify in the maintenance book any problem or damage challenging the security of the shower
stretcher occurred between 2 periodic inspections and having been already corrected
7) REVAL SA should be informed of any important default or damage in order that the manufacturer can take the
appropriate action Forwarded information should be notified in the maintenance book
