prolonged suspension in a harness can be fatal. It is

plans to recover/escape to avoid the eects of prolonged
suspension. Have a personal plan and practice it in the
presence of a responsible adult before leaving the ground.

SETUP & USE INSTRUCTIONS
This climbing rope must be used during set-up, use and take-down of a climbing aid (climbing stick, climbing ladder, sectional
ladder, etc.) and xed position (hang-on) treestand. It allows you to temporarily free your hands when attaching this type of
climbing aid and/or treestand. You must use this method while ascending or descending a tree in order to stay attached to the
tree at all times.
1. Put on your safety harness making all necessary adjustments and safety checks as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Attach the loop end of the rope to either side of the full body harness by clipping it to one of the two harness climbing loops
(lineman loops) using the included carabiner. SEE FIGURE 1
3. At ground level, wrap the climbing rope around tree. Attach the Prusik knot to the remaining harness climbing loop (lineman
loop) using the second included carabiner. SEE FIGURE 2. Adjust climbing rope length by sliding the Prusik knot only enough
so the rope will wrap around tree and allow you room to move freely.
4. Position climbing rope at waist level on backside of tree, slowly lean backwards to make sure everything is attached correctly.
SEE FIGURE 3. Once you are sure the entire full body harness (FAS) and climbing rope is attached correctly you may proceed
to cilmb up your climbing aid. As you climb, you will need to lean forward, towards the tree to take weight o of the climbing
rope so you can reposition it at a higher level. It is necessary to repeat this action until you have reached your desired hunting
height.
5. When you reach the height of your hang-on treestand platform, DO NOT UNHOOK YOUR CLIMBING ROPE, until you hook
your harness tether to the tree per manufacturer instructions.
6. Reverse these procedures to descend from your treestand/climbing aid.
WARNING
You must use a full body harness (fall arrest system) in accordance with this climbing rope. Once the rope is installed
following manufacturer instructions, you must use it per the manufacturer’s instructions to remain connected to the
tree at all times while ascending or descending.
WARNING
This product is designed to work properly when the Prusik
knot has 6 loops. The Prusik knot should be inspected
