WARNING:
Serviceshouldnotbeattemptedbyanyoneunfamiliarwiththenecessary
precautiononthisreceiver.Thefollowingarethenecessaryprecautiontobe
observedbeforeservingthischassis.
1.Sincethepowersupplycircuitof thisreceiverisdirectlyconnectedtotheAC
powerline, anIsolationtransformershouldbeusedduringanydynamic
servicetoavoidpossibleshockhazard.
2.Whenreplacingachassisin thecabinet,always becertain thatallthe
protectivedevicesareputbackinplace,suchas:
non-metalliccontrolknobs,insulatingcover,shields,isolation
resistor-capacitornetwork etc.
3.Whenreplacingpartsorcircuitboards,disconnectthepowercord.
4.Whenreplacingahighwattageresistor(oxidemetalfilmresistor)onthe
circuitboard,keeptheresistor(1/2in)awayfromcircuitboard.
5.Connectionwiresmustbekeptawayfromcomponentswithhighvoltageor
hightemperature.
6.IfanyfuseinthisLCDTVreceiverisblown,replaceitwith theFUSE
specifiedinthechassispartlist.
Thelightningflashwitharrowheadsymbol,withinan
equilateraltriangleisintendedtoalerttheusertothepresenceof
uninsulateddangerousvoltagewithintheproductsenclosurethatmaybeof
sufficientmagnitudetoconstituteariskofelectricshock.
Theexclamationpointwithinanequilateraltriangleisintendedto
alerttheusertothepresenceof importantoperatingand
maintenance(servicing) instructionsin theliteratureaccompanyingtheset.

shouldbesituatedawayfromheatsourcesuchasradiation,stoves,orother
productthatproduceheat.
