Thank you for choosing a Roome product. Roome Light brings you to a new generation of smart
lamp that is able to adapt to your preferences and habits, automatically turning on and o.
More personalized functionalities, such as 3-D gesture control; Bluetooth speaker; USB charging
ports; and wake-up light mode are also included to ensure that you love your Roome Light.

The devices require the right time seing to make the auto control functions work properly. Please connect WiFi
as soon as possible, the device will synchronize the right time from the server aer it is connected. This will also
permit you to enjoy the latest functionality and experiences made available via soware auto-upgrades.

Get Started
1Power on
Plug power adapter into outlet, plug the round side of adapter to Roome smart light.

2Lamp Placement
Turn the front side of the smart light to the main region of activity in the room in order to
optimize the auto-control functionality.

4Connect via Bluetooth and play music
Please scan the QR code below or search for “Roome Home” in App store to download the
App.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Enable the Bluetooth on your smart phone and search for
Bluetooth devices. To connect, select the device named “Roome” in the Bluetooth
devices list.
- Play Music: You can play any music in your phone aer Bluetooth connected.
- Playback Controls: Please control the playback functions via your smart phone or
other device.
- Bluetooth Disconnection: Just turn o the Bluetooth function on your smart phone. If
your smart phone is out of the Bluetooth range (25-50), the Bluetooth will
disconnect automatically as well.

Music

5Gesture Control
Turn on/o light: Pass your hand over the lamp.
Adjust Brightness:
Move your hand up and down in the region 2 to 5 inches immediately above the lamp
to adjust the brightness. When you have established a desired level of brightness, hold
your hand steady. The lamp will pulse the light briey to confirm your new brightness
level.

• Knock Twice: Turn o all lights
Aer two ickers, all the Roome Lights that share the same network will be turn o.
(this requires that other Roome Lights are connected within the same network)
• Knock Once: Stop the Wake-up Mode light when this functionality is on.
• Knock Three Times: Enter Roome Devices Pairing Mode
Aer three ickers, you can start to connect other Roome devices so that they can
interact each other. Pairing mode is stopped automatically aer 3 minutes or by
passing your hand over the light.
• Knock Five Times: Enter WIFI Set-up Mode
Aer five light pulses, you can connect smart lamp to WIFI network using the App
(see the App for details). You can also wave your hand over the lamp rapidly for 5
times to enter WIFI set-up mode.
• Knock Ten Times: Factory Reset
Aer ten light pulses, the Roome Light will begin to reset to factory default seings.
The light will pulse three times to indicate that the reset procedure is complete.
dKnocking Control
Knocking on the edge of the lamp can help you to:
- Shut o the wake-up mode alarm;
- Turn o all Roome Lights;
- Enter pairing mode;
- Enter WiFi setup mode; or
- Restore factory seings; etc.

Basic Functions
LED Light Gesture Control Wake-up Light USB Charger
• Flicker-free LED
21 LED bulbs are included to provide a stable, icker-free light source with a dimmable
brightness up to 800 lumens. This will benefit your eyes while you are reading.
• Bluetooth Wireless Speaker
Enjoy your favorite music wirelessly from your smart phone, tablet and computer. It
includes a passive bass resonance unit and a 360° omni-directional speaker design.
• Wake-up Light
Roome wakes you up naturally and gradually by imitating the process of sunrise, geing
gradually brighter. This will help you wake more naturally and develop a healthy lifestyle.
• USB Chargers
Two USB charging ports are located in the back of the lamp so that you may charge your
cell phones or other devices while you are sleeping.

• 3-D Gesture
Gestures can be detected instantaneously benefiting from Roome’s short-distance detection
technology. Wave your hands over the top of the light to switch it on and o. Move your
hands up and down over the top of the light to adjust the brightness.

Smart Functions
• Intellectual Learning will automatically adjust the seings to meet your needs.
The Roome Light will study your use of it, as well as it’s own ambient environment during
the first few days of use. It will intelligently learn through trial and error what degree of
sensitivity and timing to use for automated functions so that it knows when to switch
itself on or o for you.
Roome Light will shi into a completely automated control mode aer about one week.
• Roome’s Intelligent Learning will help to improve your experience.
Aer being familiar with your preferences, Roome will automatically switch on or o as
you enter or leave the room, and enter a so-light mode if you get up in the middle of
the night.
If Roome’s decisions are incorrect, you can correct it within 20-seconds and it will learn
to accommodate you beer.
* When automated control is unnecessary, you can turn this mode o in the seings menu within the App.

Warranty Repair Card / Limitations
Warranty for repairs of the Roome Light
The warranty period for the Roome Light is one year. (From the date of purchase).
1. During this period the lamp is covered for any repairs that are required due to faulty construction or
workmanship provided that the light was used consistently in a normal fashion and in the manner for
which it was intended.
2. Any modifications or additions to the Roome Light will void this warranty.
3. If the warranty card below and the original invoice are altered in any way, the warranty will be voided.
4. The below warranty card and the original invoice are both normally required for the warranty to be
honored. Please save them so that we can assist you with any problems that you may have.
The warranty will be voided under the following circumstances:
1. Breakage that has occurred due to inability to follow the instructions in this manual or in the App.
2. Breakage due to the inappropriate storage or use of the device.
3. Breakage due to force majeure (”Acts of God”), such as fires, oods, etc.
4. Breakage due to repairs or maintenance aempted by an unauthorized repair technician.
