Assembly Instructions
Height Adjustment
Brass Wingnuts
Slide up to desired height
Loosen the cord securing the legs. is cord should stay connected to
the legs and will hold them at the proper angle when they open.
Place one of the instrument rests (Parts: B) so that it runs between
points i and ii on the top of the open legs; to the inside of the up-right
adjustable arms. e brass pegs on the instrument rest should be close
to the ii position and pointed up.
Secure the instrument rest to the legs by sliding the brass nut and bolt
through the holes at i and ii and through the holes and slot on the
instrument rest. ere are two washers and two nuts for each bolt. e
washers should be between the instrument rest and the nut. Hand
tighten only.

To adjust the stand, loosen the 4 brass wing-nuts. e front
and back (i and ii) of each instrument rest will adjust up and
down independently. Slide the up-right adjustable arms up to
the desired height. If slides are tight, wax may help
them slide.
When you have the stand at the desired height, tighten the
wing-nuts. e stand should be positioned so that the wider,
open side, is facing the player.
