Waage niemals in Wasser. Spülen Sie sie

Es erscheinen alle Displayinformationen.
Wird 0 g angezeigt, ist die Waage bereit zur
Messung. Im Auslieferungszustand ist die
Waage auf die Einheit „g“ eingestellt.

lÄ Legen Sie das Wiegegut direkt auf die

b) Wiegen mit Schüssel:
lÄ Stellen Sie eine leere Schüssel auf die
6HDFDÇ«BGDÄ
lÄ Drücken Sie die Taste TARE 5. Das
Display zeigt wieder 0 g an. Füllen Sie
das Wiegegut in die Schüssel.
Wenn Sie die Schüssel bereits vor
dem Einschalten auf die Waage ge-
stellt haben, ist das Gewicht bereits
berücksichtigt.
Das Display zeigt nun das Gewicht des
Schüsselinhaltes an.
Inbetriebnahme
Batterie einlegen
Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 1, entfer-
nen Sie die Schutzfolie der Batterie und set-
zen Sie die Batterie gemäß Polung in das Bat-
teriefach an der Geräterückseite ein.
Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder.

Die Waage kann die Werte in den Gewichts-
einheiten g (Gramm) oder lb/oz (Pfund/Unze)
anzeigen. Die werksseitige Einstellung ist
Gramm.
Das Gewicht wird in 1 g-Schritten (0.1 oz-
Schritten) angezeigt.
Nehmen Sie das Gefäß wieder herunter, so
wird das Gewicht der Schüssel als Minuswert
angezeigt!
lÄ Drücken Sie die Taste TARE 5. Das
Display zeigt wieder 0 g an.
Überlastung oder falsche Belastung
können die Funktionsfähigkeit Ihrer
Waage beeinträchtigen:
Stellen Sie nie mehr als 5000 g (11 lb)
@TEÄCHDÄ6HDFDÇ«BGDÄ MRNMRSDMÄDQ-
scheint im Display „Err“.
Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände oder
Lebensmittel auf das Display.
Wiegegut zuwiegen (Tara)
Fügen Sie weitere Mengen hinzu, wird das
neue Gesamtgewicht angezeigt.
Sie können sich auch das Gewicht der hinzu-
gefügten Menge separat anzeigen lassen, in-
dem Sie die Waage auf 0 g stellen.
lÄ Drücken Sie vor jeder neuen Zutat die
Taste TARE 5.
Bedienung
Sie können die Einheit folgendermaßen ein-
stellen:
lÄ Schalten Sie die Waage mit Taste
TARE 5 ein.
lÄ Drücken Sie die Taste g/oz. 4 ggf. wie-
derholt, um die Gewichtseinheit einzu-
stellen.

Waage ausschalten
Die Waage schaltet sich 120 Sekunden nach
der letzten Wiege-Änderung automatisch
ab.
lÄ Um manuell auszuschalten, drücken Sie
etwa 2 Sekunden lang die Taste
TARE 5.
lÄ Das Display erlischt.

Ihr neues Gerät wurde auf dem
Weg zu Ihnen durch die Verpa-
ckung geschützt. Alle eingesetz-
ten Materialien sind umweltver-
träglich und wiederverwertbar. Bitte helfen
Sie mit und entsorgen Sie die Verpackung
umweltgerecht. Über aktuelle Entsorgungs-
wege informieren Sie sich bei Ihrem Händler
oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungs-
einrichtung.
Verpackung und deren Teile nicht
Kindern überlassen.

Das Symbol auf dem Produkt oder

Umgang mit Batterien
Achten Sie darauf, dass Batterien
nicht in die Hände von Kindern ge-
langen. Kinder könnten Batterien in
den Mund nehmen und verschlu-
cken.
Dies kann zu ernsthaften Gesundheitsschä-
den führen. In diesem Fall sofort einen Arzt
aufsuchen!
Bewahren Sie deshalb Batterien und Fernbe-
dienung für Kleinkinder unerreichbar auf.
Normale Batterien dürfen nicht geladen, mit
anderen Mitteln reaktiviert, nicht auseinan-
dergenommen, erhitzt oder ins offene Feuer
geworfen werden (Explosionsgefahr!).
Wechseln Sie schwächer werdende Batterien
rechtzeitig aus. Batteriekontakte und Geräte-
kontakte vor dem Einlegen reinigen.
Bei falsch eingelegten Batterien besteht Ex-
plosionsgefahr!
Versuchen Sie nicht, die Batterien wiederauf-
zuladen, auseinander zu nehmen, auf eine
Temperatur von über 100°C zu erhitzen oder
zu verbrennen.
Entsorgen Sie verbrauchte Batterien sofort.
Ersetzen Sie Batterien nur durch Batterien
des richtigen Typs.
Vorsicht!
Batterien keinen extremen Bedingungen aus-
setzen. Nicht auf Heizkörpern ablegen, nicht
direkter Sonnenstrahlung aussetzen!
Ausgelaufene oder beschädigte Batterien
können bei Berührung mit der Haut Verät-
zungen verursachen. Benutzen Sie in diesem
Fall geeignete Schutzhandschuhe. Reinigen
Sie das Batteriefach mit einem trockenen
Tuch.

Von Zeit zu Zeit sollte das Gerät gereinigt
werden.
Die Wiegeplatte ist fest auf der Waa-
ge montiert und nicht abnehmbar.
Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung ein feuchtes
Tuch, auf das Sie bei Bedarf etwas Spülmittel
auftragen können.
Benutzen Sie keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel
und halten Sie das Gerät niemals unter Was-

time. All of the directions given in this inst-
ruction manual are to be followed precisely
as described.
Storage and care
The accuracy of the readings and the life of
the appliance depend on careful handling:
CAUTION
lÄ Make sure that no liquids are spilt on
the scales. Never immerse the scales in
water. Never wash down the scales un-
der running water.
lÄ Do not place items on the scales when
they are not in use.

Switching on the scales
lÄ Press the TARE button (5).
All the display information appears.
If 0 g is indicated, the scales are ready to use.
As supplied, the scales are set to the weight
unit "g".
Placing items on the scales and reading
the weight
a) Weighing without a bowl:
lÄ Place the item to be weighed directly on
the weighing surface (2).
b) Weighing with a bowl:
lÄ Place the empty bowl on the weighing
surface (2).
lÄ Press the TARE button (5). The display
will revert to 0 g. Tip the ingredients to
be weighed into the bowl.
If you have already placed the bowl
on the scales before switching on,
the weight of the bowl is already ta-
ken into account.
The display now shows the weight of the
bowl contents.
First-time use
Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment cover (1), re-
move the protective foil from the battery and
insert the battery in the battery compartment
on the back of the appliance, making sure
that it matches up with the positive and ne-
gative terminal markings. Close the battery
compartment cover again.
Changing the weight unit
The scales can display weights in grammes
(g) or pounds and ounces (lb/oz). The factory
setting is grammes.
The weight is indicated in increments of 1 g
(0.1 oz).
If you remove the bowl, the scales then show

lÄ Press the TARE button (5). The display
will revert to 0 g.
Overloading or incorrectly loading the
scales may impair their function.
Never place items heavier than
5,000 g (11 lbs) on the weighing
sur- face. If you do so the display
will show "Err".
Do not place items or food on the
display.
Separately weighing additional ingre-
dients (tare function)
If you add extra items or ingredients, the
new total weight is shown.
But you can also display the separate weight
of the added item/ingredient by resetting the
scales to 0 g.
lÄ Before adding an extra item/ingredient,
press the TARE button (5).
Operation
You can set the weight unit as follows:
lÄ Switch on the scales by pressing the
TARE button (5).
lÄ Press the g/oz button (4) repeatedly to
set the weight unit.

Switching off the scales
The scales switch off automatically 120 se-
conds after the last change of weight. lÄ To switch off manually, press and hold
the TARE button (5) for approx. 2 se-
conds.
lÄ The display will go out.
Disposal
Your new appliance was protec-
ted in transit by the materials it
was packed in. All of the materi-
als used are environmentally
friendly and re-usable. Please help to make a
contribution by disposing of the packing res-
ponsibly. Your dealer or your local recycling
facility will be able to inform you about the
available disposal methods.
Do not allow children to play with
the packing or parts of it.
Risk of suffocation from foil and other pa-
cking materials
This symbol on the product or its pa-
cking indicates that the product
should not be disposed of as normal
household waste but instead taken to
a recycling facility for electrical and electronic
appliances. You can obtain further details
from your local authority, the municipal recy-
cling services or the retailer from whom you
purchased the appliance.
Handling batteries
Make sure that batteries do not get
into the hands of children. Children
might put batteries in their mouth
and swallow them.
That could cause serious damage to their
health. In such cases, seek medical advice im-
mediately.
For that reason, keep batteries and remote
controls where small children cannot reach
them.
Normal batteries must not be recharged, re-
activated by other means, taken apart, hea-

explosion!).
Replace batteries promptly when they start
to become weak. Clean battery contacts and
appliance contacts before inserting the bat-
teries.
If batteries are not inserted correctly there is
a risk of explosion.
Do not attempt to recharge batteries, take
them apart, heat them to a temperature of
over 100°C or burn them.
Dispose of used batteries immediately. When
replacing the batteries, use only batteries of
the correct type.
Caution!
Do not expose batteries to extreme condi-
tions. Do not place them on radiators or ex-
pose them to direct sunlight.
Leaking or damaged batteries can cause acid
burns if they come into contact with the skin.
In such cases, you should use suitable protec-
tive gloves. Clean the battery compartment
with a dry cloth.

Important information on disposal:
Batteries may contain poisons that
are harmful to health and the envi-
ronment. Batteries are subject to the
European Directive 2006/66/EC.
Used batteries must not be disposed of with
the normal household waste as they may
contain harmful substances or heavy metals
that are harmful to health and the environ-
ment.
Users are therefore required to return batte-
ries to a free recycling facility provided by the
trade or the local authority. Used batteries
are recycled.
They contain important raw materials such as
iron, zinc, manganese and nickel.
The crossed-out wheelie-bin symbol means
normal and rechargeable batteries must not
be disposed of as normal household waste.
The symbols below the bin indicate the fol-
lowing: Pb: battery contains lead; Cd: battery
contains cadmium; Hg: battery contains mer-
cury.

attached to the scales and cannot be
removed.
To clean the scales, use a damp cloth to
which you can apply a little washing-up li-
quid if required.
Do not use any abrasive cleaners and never
hold the appliance under water.
Never use corrosive solvents or clea-
ners. Do not spray cleaner into the
openings in the scales.
Never wash the scales in a dishwasher!
This appliance is interference-
suppressed in accordance with

diate vicinity of the appliance, the weight

a) Pesage sans récipient :

la surface de pesage 2.
b) Pesage avec récipient :
lÄ Posez un récipient vide sur la surface de
pesage 2.

Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à piles
1, retirez la bande de protection des piles et
insérez les piles dans le compartiment à piles
sur la face arrière de l'appareil en veillant à la
polarité correcte. Refermez le couvercle du
compartiment à piles.

écologiques et recyclables. Aidez-
nous en les éliminant dans le respect de

ou votre commune de résidence vous fourni-
ra toutes les informations utiles concernant
la mise au rebut.
Ne laissez pas l'emballage à la disposi-
tion d'enfants.

Maniement des piles
Conservez les piles hors de portée
des enfants. Les enfants pourraient
les porter à la bouche et les avaler.
Cela pourrait entraîner des blessures graves.
Dans ce cas, contactez immédiatement un
médecin !
Rangez par conséquent les piles et la télé-
commande hors de portée des enfants en
bas âge.
Les piles ordinaires ne doivent pas être char-
gées, ni réactivées par d'autres méthodes, ni
démontées, chauffées ou jetées au feu
(risque d'explosion !).
Remplacez à temps des piles faiblement
chargées. Nettoyez les contacts de la pile et
ceux de l'appareil avant de mettre en place
les piles.
En cas de piles mal insérées, il y a risque
d'explosion !
N'essayez en aucun cas de recharger les pi-
les, de les désassembler, de les exposer à une
température supérieure à 100 °C ou de les
jeter au feu.
Jetez immédiatement les piles usagées. Rem-
placez les piles uniquement par des piles de
même type.
Attention !
N'exposez pas les piles à des conditions ext-
rêmes. Ne les posez pas sur des radiateurs et
ne les exposez pas directement au soleil !
Les piles usagées ou endommagées en con-
tact avec la peau peuvent provoquer des
blessures. Utilisez dans ce cas des gants de
protection adaptés. Nettoyez le comparti-
ment de la pile à l'aide d'un chiffon sec.

Remarque importante pour la mise au
rebut :
Les piles peuvent contenir des subs-
tances toxiques pouvant nuire à la
santé et polluer l'environnement. Les
piles sont soumises à la directive eu-
ropéenne 2006/66/CE.
Les piles usagées ne doivent pas être jetées
avec les ordures ménagères, étant donné
qu'elles contiennent vraisemblablement des
substances nocives ou des métaux lourds, qui
pourraient porter préjudice à
l'environnement et à la santé.
Par conséquents, les consommateurs sont te-
nus d'apporter les piles à un point de collecte
gratuit, auprès du commerce ou de la com-
mune. Les piles usagées sont recyclées.
