General information:
WARNING: Riding an electric ATV can be dangerous. Like other electric products, electric ATVs can and
are intended to move, and it is therefore possible to lose control, fall off and/or get into dangerous
situations that no amount of care, instruction or expertise can eliminate. If such things occur you can be
seriously injured or die, even when using safety equipment and other precautions.
RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND USE COMMON SENSE.
This manual contains many warnings and cautions concerning the consequences of failing to maintain,
inspect or properly use your electric ATV. Because any incident can result in serious injury or even death,
we do not repeat the warning of possible serious injury or death each time such a possibility is
mentioned. APPROPRIATE RIDER USE AND PARENTAL SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED
This manual contains important safety information. It is your responsibility to review this information
and make sure that all riders understand all warnings, cautions, instructions and safety topics and assure
that young riders are able to safely and responsibly use this product. Rosso Motors recommends that
you periodically review and reinforce the information in this manual with younger riders, and that you
inspect and maintain your children’s E-ATV to insure their safety.
A parent’s decision to allow his or her child to ride this product should be based on the child’s maturity,
skill and ability to follow rules.
Keep this product away from small children and remember that this product is intended for use only by
persons who are, at a minimum, completely comfortable and competent while operating the product.
DO NOT EXCEED THE WEIGHT LIMIT OF 90 POUNDS. Rider weight does not necessarily mean a person’s
size is appropriate to fit or maintain control of the E-ATV. Do not touch the brakes or electric motor on
your electric ATV when in use and/or immediately after riding as they can become very hot.
Always check and obey any local laws or regulations which may affect the locations where the E-ATV
may be used.
Ride defensively.
Watch out for potential obstacles that could catch your wheel or force you to swerve suddenly or lose
control.
Be careful to avoid pedestrians, skaters, skateboards, scooters, bikes, children or animals who may enter
your path, and respect the rights and property of others.
The E-ATV is meant to be used on private property and on closed courses and not on public streets or
sidewalks. Do not ride your electric ATV in any areas where pedestrian or vehicle traffic is present.
Do not activate the throttle control on the hand grip unless you are sitting properly on the electric ATV
and in a safe, outdoor environment suitable for riding.

Riding with worn brake pads can reduce braking performance and cause an accident.
Check and adjust brakes before each ride

To adjust cable play on the right (front) brake lever - tighten/loosen adjusters

2. Charging
ROSSO E-ATV does not come with a fully charged battery, therefore you must charge it prior
to use.
Initial charge time should take no less than 12 hours – keep it plugged in even if the light
turns green.
Recharge time should take up to 12 hours, even if the light turns green. Recommended
maximum charging time is 24 hours.
Always charge the battery immediately after riding.
Fully charge battery before storing for an extended period of time and then every 4-6 weeks
Failure to recharge the battery periodically may result in reducing battery life time and can
result in a battery that will not accept a charge.
Unplug charger from the wall outlet when not in use.
Make sure the E-ATV power switch is turned OFF when unit is not in use.
To ensure long battery life, never store the product in freezing or below freezing
temperatures! Freezing will permanently damage the battery.
E-ATV run time is up to 60 minutes of continuous ride time. Ride time may vary depending
on riding conditions, rider weight, climate, and/or proper maintenance.
Constant stopping and starting may shorten ride time.
Charge the battery ONLY with the supplied charger.
Batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Always disconnect the charger before wiping down and/or cleaning the E-ATV.
The charger supplied with the E-ATV should be regularly examined for damage to the cord,
plug, enclosure and other parts. In the event of such damage, the E-ATV must not be
charged until it has been repaired or replaced.
Chargers have built-in over-charge protection to prevent battery from being over-charged.
Note: If the charger gets warm during regular use, this is a normal response and is no cause
for concern. If your charger does not get warm during use, it does not mean that it is not
working properly.

12
Charging steps:
Step 1: Turn main switch OFF
Step 2: Plug charger into a wall – if the light on the charger does not light up, check power to
the outlet.
Step 3: Plug the charger into the charging port and tighten (located on the left side)

3. Chain adjustment
Riding an ATV with a chain in poor condition or improperly adjusted can lead to serious
injury. Always inspect, maintain and adjust the chain properly before each ride
Before adjusting the chain, make sure the motor is cool.
Do not touch motor after use.
Motor is (or can be) very hot.
Step 1: Unscrew (do not remove completely) motor mount nuts (front & rear)
Step 2: Adjust (tighten/loosen) chain adjuster bolts as necessary – make sure both bolts are
adjusted equally
Step 3: Tighten mount nuts
Pre ride check list
Brakes - Check the brakes for proper function. When you squeeze the lever, the brake should provide
positive braking action.
Tires – Check tires periodically. Inspect tires for excess wear and replace as needed. Regularly check the
tire pressure and inflate as needed.
Front mount nuts Rear mount nuts
Chain adjuster bolt

14
Frame and Handlebars - Check for loose, cracked or broken connections. Although broken frames are
rare, it is possible for an aggressive rider to run into a curb or object and wreck, bend or break the
frame.
Hardware - Check and secure all fasteners (nuts, bolts) before every ride.
If the unit is damaged, do not ride.
Always wear proper protective gear, such as an approved safety helmet. Elbow pads, kneepads, pants
and long sleeves are recommended. Always wear closed toe shoes and keep shoelaces tied and out of
the way of the wheels, motor and drive system.
NEVER RIDE BAREFOOTED OR IN SANDALS.
Always check and obey any local laws or regulations.
Usage
1. To start the E-ATV turn ignition/power switch clockwise until lights on the throttle/accelerator
are on.
2. Check that the parking brake knob is released and gradually twist the throttle.
3. To stop the E-ATV, release the throttle and squeeze both brakes
