SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
UTILIZATION:
Do not dispose of this product together with unsorted municipal waste.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
• Contact the authorised service technician for repair or maintenance of this unit.
• Do not use the socket if it is loose or damaged.
• Do not operate your dehumidier in a wet room such as a bathroom or laundry room.
• Do not use this product for functions other than those described in this instruction manual.
• If the device is knockedoverduringuse,turnotheunit and unplug itfromthemainpowersupplyimmediately.
Visually inspect the unit to ensure there is no damage. If you suspect the unit has been damaged, contact a
technician or customer service for assistance.
• In a thunderstorm, the power must be cut o to avoid damage to the machine due to lightning.
• To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not
route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from trac area and where it will not be tripped
over.
• Do not open the unit during operation.
• When the air lter is to be removed, do not touch the metal parts of the unit.
• Hold the plug by the head of the power plug when taking it out.
3. ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
1. The manufactures nameplate is located on the rear panel of the unit and contains electrical and other technical
data specic to this unit.
2. Be sure the unit is properly grounded. To minimize shock and re hazards, proper grounding is important. The
power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards.
3. Your unit must be used in a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend to use is not
adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker(the fuse or circuit breaker needed is
determined by the maximum current of the unit. The maximum current is indicated on the nameplate located on
unit), have a qualied electrician install the proper receptacle.
4. Ensure the receptacle is accessible after the unit installation.
5. Do not use extension cords or an adapter plugs with this unit. However, if it is necessary to use an extension cord,
use an approved Dehumidier extension cord only (available at most local hardware stores).
6. To avoid the possibility of personal injury, always disconnect the power supply to the unit, before installing and/
or servicing.
7. All wiring must be performed strictly in accordance with the wiring diagram located on the middle bae of the
unit (behind the water bucket).

TAKE NOTE THE FUSE SPECIFICATIONS
The units circuit board (PCB) is designed with a fuse to provide overcurrent protection. The specications of the fuse
are printed on the circuit board, such as: T 3.15A/250V (or 350V), etc
NOTE: All the pictures in the manual are for explanation purposes only. The actual shape of the unit you purchased
may be slightly dierent, but the operations and functions are the same.
NOTE ABOUT FLUORINATED GASSES
1. Fluorinated greenhouse gases are contained in hermetically sealed equipment. For specic information on the
type, the amount and the CO equivalent in tonnes of the uorinated greenhouse gas(on some models), please
refer to the relevant label on the unit itself.
2. Installation, service, maintenance and repair of this unit must be performed by a certied technician.
3. Product uninstallation and recycling must be performed by a certied technician
CAUTION
• Do not use means to accelerate the defrosting process or to clean, other than those recommended by the
manufacturer.
• The appliance shall be stored in a room without continuously operating ignition sources (for example: open
ames, an operating gas appliance or an operating electric heater).
• Do not pierce or burn.
• Be aware that the refrigerants may not contain an odour.
• Appliance should be installed, operated and stored in a room with a oor area larger than 4m2.
• Compliance with national gas regulations shall be observed.
• Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
• The appliance shall be stored so as to prevent mechanical damage from occurring.
• A warning that the appliance shall be stored in a well-ventilated area where the room size corresponds to the
room area as specied for operation.
• Any person who is involved with working on or breaking into a refrigerant circuit should hold a current valid
certicate from an industry-accredited assessment authority, which authorises their competence to handle
refrigerants safely in accordance with an industry recognised assessment specication.
• Servicing shall only be performed as recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Maintenance and repair
requiring the assistance of other skilled personnel shall be carried out under the supervision of the person
competent in the use of ammable refrigerants.

4. Storage of equipment/appliances
The storage of equipment should be in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
5. Storage of packed (unsold) equipment
Storage package protection should be constructed such that mechanical damage to the equipment inside the
package will not cause a leak of the refrigerant charge.
6. Information on servicing
1) Checks to the area
Prior to beginning work on systems containing ammable refrigerants, safety checks are necessary to ensure
that the risk of ignition is minimised. For repair to the refrigerating system, the following precautions shall be
complied with prior to conducting work on the system.
2) Work procedure
Work shall be undertaken under a controlled procedure so as to minimise the risk of a ammable gas or vapour
being present while the work is being performed.
3) General work area
All maintenance sta and others working in the local area shall be instructed on the nature of work being carried
out. Work in conned spaces shall be avoided. The area around the workspace shall be sectioned o. Ensure that
the conditions within the area have been made safe by control of ammable material.
4) Checking for presence of refrigerant
The area shall be checked with an appropriate refrigerant detector prior to and during work, to ensure the
technician is aware of potentially ammable atmospheres. Ensure that the leak detection equipment being
used is suitable for use with ammable refrigerants, i.e. non-sparking, adequately sealed or intrinsically safe.
5) Presence of re extinguisher
If any hot work is to be conducted on the refrigeration equipment or any associated parts, appropriate re
extinguishing equipment shall be available to hand. Have a dry powder or CO2re extinguisher adjacent to the
charging area.

6) No ignition sources
No person carrying out work in relation to a refrigeration system which involves exposing any pipe work that
contains or has contained ammable refrigerant shall use any sources of ignition in such a manner that it may
lead to the risk of re or explosion. All possible ignition sources, including cigarette smoking, should be kept
suciently far away from the site of installation, repairing, removing and disposal, during which ammable
refrigerant can possibly be released to the surrounding space. Prior to work taking place, the area around the
equipment is to be surveyed to make sure that there are no ammable hazards or ignition risks. No Smoking
signs shall be displayed.
7) Ventilated area
Ensure that the area is in the open or that it is adequately ventilated before breaking into the system or
conducting any hot work. A degree of ventilation shall continue during the period that the work is carried
out. The ventilation should safely disperse any released refrigerant and preferably expel it externally into the
atmosphere.
8) Checks to the refrigeration equipment
Where electrical components are being changed, they shall be t for the purpose and to the correct specication.
At all times the manufacturer’s maintenance and service guidelines shall be followed. If in doubt consult the
manufacturer’s technical department for assistance. The following checks shall be applied to installations using
ammable refrigerants:
• The ventilation machinery and outlets are operating adequately and are not obstructed;
• If an indirect refrigerating circuit is being used, the secondary circuit shall be checked for the presence of refrigerant;
• Markingto the equipmentcontinuesto be visible and legible.Markings and signs thatareillegibleshall be corrected;
• Refrigeration pipe or components are installed in a position where they are unlikely to be exposed to any
substance which may corrode refrigerant containing components, unless the components are constructed
of materials which are inherently resistant to being corroded or are suitably protected against being so
corroded.
9) Checks to electrical devices
If a fault exists that could compromise safety, then no electrical supply shall be connected to the circuit until it is
satisfactorily dealt with. This shall be reported to the owner of the equipment so all parties are advised.
Initial safety checks shall include:
That capacitors are discharged: this shall be done in a safe manner to avoid possibility of sparking;
That there no live electrical components and wiring are exposed while charging, recovering or purging the system;
That there is continuity of earth bonding.
7. Repairs to sealed components
1) During repairs to sealed components, all electrical supplies shall be disconnected from the equipment being
worked upon prior to any removal of sealed covers, etc. If it is absolutely necessary to have an electrical supply
to equipment during servicing, then a permanently operating form of leak detection shall be located at the
most critical point to warn of a potentially hazardous situation.
2) Particular attention shall be paid to the following to ensure that by working on electrical components, the
casing is not altered in such a way that the level of protection is aected. This shall include damage to cables,
excessive number of connections, terminals not made to original specication, damage to seals, incorrect tting
of glands, etc.
3) Ensure that apparatus is mounted securely.
4) Ensure that seals or sealing materials have not degraded.
NOTE: The use of silicon sealant may inhibit the eectiveness of some types of leak detection equipment.

8. Repair to intrinsically safe components
Do not apply any permanent inductive or capacitance loads to the circuit without ensuring that this will not exceed the
permissible voltage and current permitted for the equipment in use. Intrinsically safe components are the only types
that can be worked on while live in the presence of a ammable atmosphere. Replace components only with parts
specied by the manufacturer. Other parts may result in the ignition of refrigerant in the atmosphere from a leak.
9. Cabling
Check that cabling will not be subject to wear, corrosion, excessive pressure, vibration, sharp edges or any other
adverse environmental eects. The check shall also take into account the eects of aging or continual vibration
from sources such as compressors or fans.
10. Detection of ammable refrigerants
Under no circumstances shall potential sources of ignition be used in the searching for or detection of refrigerant
leaks. A halide torch (or any other detector using a naked ame) shall not be used.
11. Leak detection methods
Electronic leak detectors shall be used to detect ammable refrigerants, but the sensitivity may not be adequate,
or may need re-calibration. (Detection equipment shall be calibrated in a refrigerant-free area.) Ensure that the
detector is not a potential source of ignition and is suitable for the refrigerant used. Leak detection uids are
suitable for use with most refrigerants but the use of detergents containing chlorine shall be avoided as the chlorine
may react with the refrigerant and corrode the copper pipe-work. If a leak is suspected, all naked ames shall be
removed/ extinguished. If a leakage of refrigerant is found which requires brazing, all of the refrigerant shall be
recovered from the system, or isolated (by means of shut o valves) in a part of the system remote from the leak.
12. Removal and evacuation
The following procedure shall be adhered to:
• Remove refrigerant;
• Purge the circuit with inert gas;
• Evacuate;
• Purge again with inert gas;
• Open the circuit by cutting or brazing.
The refrigerant charge shall be recovered into the correct recovery cylinders. The system shall be ushed with OFN
to render the unit safe. This process may need to be repeated several times. Compressed air or oxygen shall not be
used for this task.
Ensure that the outlet for the vacuum pump is not close to any ignition sources and there is ventilation available.
13. Charging procedures
• Ensure that contamination of dierent refrigerants does not occur when using charging equipment.
• Hoses or lines shall be as short as possible to minimise the amount of refrigerant contained in them.
• Cylinders shall be kept upright.
• Ensure that the refrigeration system is earthed prior to charging the system with refrigerant.
• Label the system when charging is complete (if not already).
• Extreme care shall be taken not to overll the refrigeration system.
• Prior to recharging the system it shall be pressure tested with OFN.
• The system shall be leak tested on completion of charging but prior to commissioning. A follow up leak test
shall be carried out prior to leaving the site.

14. Decommissioning
It’s necessary to transfer this type of waste for special processing. It’s illegal to throw the device together with other
household waste.
15. Labelling
Equipment shall be labelled stating that it has been de-commissioned and emptied of refrigerant. The label shall
be dated and signed. Ensure that there are labels on the equipment stating the equipment contains ammable
refrigerant.
16. Recovery
When removing refrigerant from a system, either for servicing or decommissioning, it is recommended good
practice that all refrigerants are removed safely.
When transferring refrigerant into cylinders, ensure that only appropriate refrigerant recovery cylinders are
employed.
All cylinders to be used are designated for the recovered refrigerant and labelled for that refrigerant (i.e. special
cylinders for the recovery of refrigerant). Cylinders shall be complete with pressure relief valve and associated shut-
o valves in good working order. The recovery equipment shall be in good working order with a set of instructions
concerning the equipment that is at hand and shall be suitable for the recovery of ammable refrigerants.
Hoses shall be complete with leak-free disconnect couplings and in good condition. Before using the recovery
machine, check that it is in satisfactory working order, has been properly maintained and that any associated
electrical components are sealed to prevent ignition in the event of a refrigerant release. Consult manufacturer if
in doubt.
The recovered refrigerant shall be returned to the refrigerant supplier in the correct recovery cylinder, and the
relevant Waste Transfer Note arranged. Do not mix refrigerants in recovery units and especially not in cylinders. If
compressors or compressor oils are to be removed, ensure that they have been evacuated to an acceptable level
to make certain that ammable refrigerant does not remain within the lubricant.

When you push the button to change operation modes, the unit will make a beep sound to indicate that it is
changing modes.

Press to turn the dehumidier on and o.
NOTE: When the compressor startups or stopsrunning, the unit may make a loud voice, it is normal.
10. Mode pad
Press to select the desired operation mode from Dehumidifying,Dryer,Continuous dehumidifying and
Smart dehumidifying.
NOTE: Dryer and Smart dehumidifying modes are optional.
11. Up/Down pad
• Humidity Set Control Pads
The humidity level can be set within a range of 35% RH (Relative Humidity) to 85% RH(Relative
Humidity) in 5% increments.
For drier air, press the pad and set to a lower percent value(%).
For damper air, press the pad and set a higher percent value(%).
• TIMER Set Control Pads
Use the Up/Down pads to set the Auto start and Auto stop time from 0.0 to 24.

12. Fan pad
Control the fan speed. Press to select fan speed in three steps-low, med and high. The fan speed
indicator light illuminates under dierent fan speed settings. But when select high fan speed, both
the low and med fan speed lights illuminate.
13. Timer pad
Press to initiate the Auto start and Auto stop feature, in conjuction with the and pads.
14. Wireless pad (optional)
Press this pad for 3 seconds to initiate the Wireless connection mode. The LED DISPLAY shows
'AP' (at this time the unit shuts o all other functions) to indicate you can set Wireless connection.
If connection(router) is successful within 8 minutes, the unit will exit Wireless connection mode
automatically and the Wireless indicator illuminates and the unit enters the previous functions. If
connection is failure within 8 minutes, the unit exits the Wireless connection mode automatically.
15. Display
Shows the set % humidity level from 35% to 85% or auto start/stop time (0~24) while setting, then
shows the actual ( ± 5% accuracy) room % humidity level in a range of 30%RH(Relative Humidity) to
90%RH (Relative Humidity).
Error Codes and Protection Codes:
AS - Humidity sensor module error--Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If error repeats, call for
service.
ES - Temperature sensor error-- Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If error repeats, call for service.
P2 - Bucket is full or bucket is not in right position-- Empty the bucket and replace it in the right position.
2. OTHER FEATURES
1. Bucket Full Light
Glows when the bucket is ready to be emptied, or when the bucket is removed or not replaced in the proper
position.
2. Auto Shut O
The dehumidier shuts o when the bucket is full, or when the bucket is removed or not replaced in the proper
position. For some models, the fan motor will continue operating for 30 seconds.
3. Auto Defrost
When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor will cycle o and the fan will continue to run until
the frost disappears.
NOTE: When Auto defrosting operation,the unit may make a voice of refrigerant owing,it is normal.
4. Wait 3 minutes before resuming operation
After the unit has stopped, it can not be restart operation in the rst 3 minutes.This is to protect the unit. Operation
will automatically start after 3 minutes.
5. Auto-Restart
If the unit breaks o unexpectedly due to the power cut, it will restart with the previous function setting
automatically when the power resumes.

6. Smart dehumidifying mode (optional)
At smart dehumidifying mode, the unit will automatically control room humidity in a comfortable range 45%~55%
according to the room temperature. The humidity setting function will be invalid.
7. Setting the Timer
• Press to initiate the Auto start or Auto stop feature, in conjuction with the and pads.
• When the unit is on, press the Timer pad to actieve the AUTO STOP featrue. When the unit is o, press this button
to actieve the AUTO START feature.
• Press or hold the UP or DOWN pad to change the Auto time by 0.5 hour increments, up to 10 hours, then at 1
hour increments up to 24 hours. The control will count down the time remaining until start.
• The selected time will register in 5 seconds and the system will automatically revert back to display the previous
humidity setting.
• Turning the unit ON or OFF at any time or adjusting the timer setting to 0.0 will cancel the Auto Start Or Auto
Stop feature.
• When LED display window displays the code of P2, the Auto Start or Auto Stop feature will also be cancelled.
8. Dryer mode (optional)
The unit can make the MAX dehumidication function when it is under the Dryer mode. The fan speed is xed at
high fan speed.

• The Dryer mode must be operated in a close
room,do not open the door and window.
• To make the best eective dehumidication,
please rst dehydrate the wet clothes.
• Make sure to direct airow at the wet clothes (See
Fig.A).
• For thick and heavy wet clothes may not get the
best eective dehumidication.
CAUTION
• Do not cover the air outlet of the unit with clothes.
It may cause excessive heat, re or failure of unit.
• Do not place the wet clothes on the top of the unit
and do not make the water drop into the unit. It
may cause electric shock,creepage or failure of
unit.

2. POSITIONING THE UNIT
A dehumidier operating in a basement will have little or no eect in drying an adjacent enclosed storage area, such
as a closet, unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This dehumidier is intended for indoor residential applications only. This dehumidier should not be used for
commercial or industrial applications.
• Place the dehumidier on a smooth, level oor strong enough to support the unit with a full bucket of water.
• Allow at least 20cm of air space on all sides of the unit for good air circulation.
• Place the unit in an area where the temperature will not fall below 5°C (41°F). The coils can become covered with
frost at temperatures below 5°C (41°F), which may reduce performance.
• Place the unit away from the clothes dryer, heater or radiator.

PART 2. OPERATING THE UNIT
• Use the unit to prevent moisture damage anywhere books or valuables are stored.
• Use the dehumidier in a basement to help prevent moisture damage.
• The dehumidier must be operated in an enclosed area to be most eective.
• Close all doors, windows and other outside openings to the room.

• Do not force casters to move over carpet, nor move the unit with water in the bucket. (The unit may tip
over and spill water.)
NOTE: Casters is optional.
3. WHEN USING THE UNIT
• When rst using the dehumidier, operate the unit continuously 24 hours.
• This unit is designed to operate with a working environment between 5°C/41°F and 32°C/90°F, and between
30% (RH) and 80% (RH).
• If the unit has been switched o and needs to be switched on again quickly, allow approximately three minutes
for the correct operation to resume.
• Do not connect the dehumidier to a multiple socket outlet, which is also being used for other electrical appliances.
• Select a suitable location, making sure you have easy access to an electrical outlet.
• Plug the unit into a electrical socket-outlet with earth connection.
• Make sure the Water bucket is correctly tted otherwise the unit will not operate properly.

NOTE: When the water in the bucket reaches to a certain level,please be careful to move the machine to avoid it
falling down.
4. REMOVING THE COLLECTED WATER
1. The rst way - use the bucket
• When the bucket is full, the Full indicator light will
illuminate, the digital display shows P2.
• Slowly pull out the bucket. Grip the left and right
handles securely, and carefully pull out straight so
water does not spill. Do not put the bucket on the
oor because the bottom of the bucket is uneven.
Otherwise the bucket will fall and cause the water to
spill.
• Throw away the water and replace the bucket. The
bucket must be in place and securely seated for the
dehumidier to operate.
• The machine will restore to its original state when the
bucket is replaced in its correct position.
NOTE
• When you remove the bucket, do not touch any
parts inside of the unit. Doing so may damage the
product.
• Be sure to push the bucket gently all the way into
the unit. Banging the bucket against anything or
failing to push it in securely may cause the unit not
to operate.
• When you remove the bucket,if there is some
water in the unit you must dry it .

2. The second way - continuous draining
• Water can be automatically emptied into a oor drain by attaching the unit with a water hose (not included).
• Remove the rubber plug from the back drain hose outlet. Attach a drain hose(ID=13.5mm) and lead it to the
oor drain or a suitable drainage facility (see Fig.7).
• Make sure the hose is secure so there are no leaks.
• Direct the hose toward the drain,making sure that there are no kinks that will stop the warter owing.
• Place the end of the hose into the drain and make sure the end of the hose is level or down to let the water ow
smoothly. Do never let it up.

rubber plug back to the drain outlet
• Make sure the water hose is lower than the drain hose outlet.
• Select the desired humidity setting and fan speed on the unit for continuous draining to start.

Turn the dehumidier o and remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning.
1. CARE AND CLEANING OF THE DEHUMIDIFIER
1. Clean the Grille and Case.
• Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives.
• Do not splash water directly onto the main unit. Doing so may cause an electrical shock, cause the insulation to
deteriorate, or cause the unit to rust.
• The air intake and outlet grilles get soiled easily, so use a vacuum attachment or brush to clean.
2. Clean the bucket
• Every few weeks, clean the bucket to prevent growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. Partially ll the bucket with
clean water and add a little mild detergent. Swish it around in the bucket, empty and rinse.
3. Clean the air lter
The air lter behind the front grille should be checked and cleaned at least every two weeks or more often if
necessary.
To remove:
• Grip the tab on the lter and pull it upward, then pull it out as shown in Fig.8.
• Clean the lter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the lter dry before replacing it. Do not clean the lter in
a dishwasher.
To attach:
• Insert the air lter into the unit from underside to upside (Fig.10).
NOTE
Do not use a dishwasher to clean the bucket. After clean, the bucket must be in place and securely seated for
the dehumidier to operate.

4. When not using the unit for long time periods
• After turning o the unit, wait one day before emptying the bucket.
• Clean the main unit, water bucket and air lter.
• Cover the unit with a plastic bag.
• Store the unit upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.
NOTE
When re-install the lter, please pat the middle buckles of the lter rst and then pat the bottom bukcle.
CAUTION
DO NOT operate the dehumidier without a lter because dirt and lint will clog it and reduce performance.
NOTE
The cabinet and front may be dusted with an oil-free cloth or washed with a cloth dampened in a solution of
warm water and mild liquid dish washing detergent. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry. Never use harsh cleansers,
wax or polish on the cabinet front. Be sure to wring excess water from the cloth before wiping around the
controls. Excess water in or around the controls may cause damage to the unit.
