1 Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG – ERTRINKUNGSGEFAHR!
• Dieses Produkt ist eine Badehilfe und bietet keine zusätzliche Sicherheit
hinsichtlich der mit Wasser verbundenen Gefahren!
• Es sind Kinder beim Baden ertrunken.
• Kinder können schon bei geringen Wassertiefen von nur 2 cm rasch ertrinken.
• Bleiben Sie während des Badens immer in Kontakt mit Ihrem Kind.
• Das Kind nie unbeaufsichtigt im Bad lassen, auch nicht für einen kurzen Augenblick.
Wenn Sie den Raum verlassen müssen, nehmen Sie Ihr Kind mit.
• Verbrühungsgefahr! Kontrollieren Sie die Wassertemperatur (max. 37°C) vor dem Baden.
• Kind vom Wasserhahn fernhalten!
• Vor dem Bad prüfen, ob das Produkt ordnungsgemäß und sicher steht!
• Nicht verwenden, wenn das Produkt defekt ist, ein Teil fehlt oder lose ist – Verletzungsgefahr!
• Nur Originalersatzteile von Rotho Babydesign verwenden.
• Produkt darf nicht durch Personen (z.B. Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen
oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnden Kenntnissen benutzt oder bedient werden!
• Wenn Laufrollen/Räder mit Feststelleinrichtung verwendet werden, müssen diese bei
der Benutzung gesperrt sein.
Die SPA Whirlpoolwanne nur in Verbindung mit dem SPA Wannenständer
verwenden Art Nr. 20306 0001 01 und Art. Nr. 20097 0022.
Den SPA Whirlpool nur solange verwenden, bis das Kind selbstständig sitzen kann.
Bitte nur Wasser bis zur Max- Linie einfüllen.

Der Whirlpool ist Erholung und Spaß zugleich. Dabei sorgt das angenehme Farbspiel für
eine besondere Atmosphäre beim Bad. Durch die sanfte Massage der einströmenden
Luft kann Ihr Kind Ruhe und Kraft tanken. Je nach Anwendung wirkt das Bad auch
vitalisierend oder sorgt für einen geruhsamen Schlaf.
Ihr Baby Spa Whirlpool besitzt die besondere Eigenschaft, auch ganz ohne Kabel betrieben
zu werden, alle Informationen hierzu und weitere nützliche Tipps und wichtige
Sicherheitshinweise finden Sie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung.

2 Sicherheits- und Bedienhinweise
2.1 Vor Inbetriebnahme
2.1.1 Akku laden!
• Vor der erstmaligen Benutzung muss der Akku vollständig aufgeladen werden. Der Ladevorgang
wird automatisch beendet, sobald der Akku aufgeladen ist. Ein Überladen ist daher ausgeschlossen.
• Ein Ladevorgang ist nach ca. 6 Stunden abgeschlossen, dies wird durch ein rotes Dauerlicht
der Statusanzeige signalisiert, s. 2.4.2.
2.1.2 Desinfektion
• Vor der ersten Verwendung sowie nach jedem zweiten Gebrauch sollten Sie
eine Desinfektion und Reinigung, wie in 2.9 beschrieben, durchführen.
• Baby niemals in das Desinfektionsbad legen! Während der Desinfektion
Kinder vom Whirlpool fernhalten!
• Badezusätze sollten nicht verwendet werden, um ein Verkleben
der Düsenönungen zu vermeiden.
2.2 Sicherstellen der Funktionsfähigkeit
• Prüfen Sie Gerät, Netzadapter und Kabel vor jeder Benutzung auf Schäden.
Ein beschädigtes Gerät darf nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.
• Um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden, reparieren Sie Gerät und Kabel nicht selbst,
sondern wenden Sie sich an die angegebenen Service-Adressen auf der letzten Seite.
• Verwenden Sie nur Original-Zubehör.
2.3 Sicheres Aufstellen
• Wählen Sie einen sicheren Ort, um das Gerät auf einen ebenen, waagerechten,
stabilen Untergrund zu stellen. Stellen Sie den Whirlpool niemals auf eine schräge Fläche.
• Stellen Sie den SPA Whirlpool nur auf den passenden SPA Wannenständer Art. Nr. 20097 0022
• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Rollen des Ständers arretiert sind.
• Entfernen Sie Elektroverteiler aus der Umgebung der Wanne und halten Sie einen Abstand
von mindestens 60cm (24 inch) zu Elektrosteckdosen ein!
• Halten Sie die Wanne von Wärmequellen fern!
• Um Kinder, z. B. kleine Geschwister, vor Gefahren elektrischer Geräte zu schützen,
sorgen Sie bitte dafür, dass das Kabel nicht herunter hängt und Kinder
keinen Zugri auf das Gerät haben.

2.4 Umgang mit den Elektrokomponenten
Bitte beachten Sie folgende Vorsichtsmaßnahmen und Sicherheitshinweise:
• Auf keinen Fall den Stecker, das Kabel oder die Außenseite des Whirlpools
in Flüssigkeiten tauchen (der Whirlpool ist kein Schwimmkörper).
2.4.1 Elektrischer Anschluss
• Ihr Baby Spa Whirlpool ist mit einem Netzadapter ausgestattet, der einen Betrieb in
ganz Europa (ausgenommen Großbritannien, Irland, Zypern und Malta) ermöglicht.
• Durch diesen Netzadapter wird Ihr Baby Spa Whirlpool mit Sicherheitskleinspannung
von 12VDC versorgt.
• Greifen Sie die Elektrosteckverbindungen nie mit feuchten Händen an.
• Führen Sie den Gerätestecker vor dem Betrieb oder dem Ladevorgang in die dafür
vorgesehene Önung unter der Wanne ein.
• Schließen Sie den Netzstecker nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose an!
2.4.2 Akku laden
• Schließen Sie das Gerät mit Hilfe des Netzadapters an eine Steckdose an. Die Statusanzeige
im Bedienfeld wechselt nach 60 Sekunden automatisch über grünes Dauerlicht auf rotes
Blinklicht. Der Akku wird nun geladen. Ein Ladevorgang ist nach ca. 6 Stunden abgeschlossen.
• Der Ladevorgang kann jederzeit durch die Betätigung einer Funktionstaste abgebrochen werden.
Der Whirlpool ist dann im Betriebsmodus. Während des Betriebs erfolgt keine Aufladung.
• Nach Beendigung des Ladevorgangs wechselt die Statusanzeige auf rotes Dauerlicht (s. 2.6.1).
• Nach Beendigung des Ladevorgangs den Netzadapter aus der Steckdose ziehen (Achtung:
ziehen Sie hier am Stecker, nicht am Kabel).
• Um das Kabel aus dem Gerät zu ziehen, ziehen Sie bitte vorsichtig am Kabel, da es sich hier
um eine spezielle Spritzwasser geschützte Steckverbindung handelt.
2.5 Vorbereitung des Bades
• Beachten Sie bitte alle Warnhinweise, die in dieser Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführt sind.
• Prüfen Sie, ob der innere und äußere Boden der Wanne sauber und rutschsicher sind.
• Eventuelle Baderückstände vor dem Bad bitte mit PH-neutralem Reinigungsmittel und
Wasser entfernen und danach mit klarem Wasser nachspülen (s. 2.9.1).
• Bitte führen Sie vor jedem 3. Bad eine Desinfektion durch. Wurde die Wanne
länger als 3 Wochen nicht benutzt, so ist die Wanne vor der nächsten Anwen-
dung ebenfalls zu desinfizieren (s. 2.9.2). Sorgen Sie für eine angenehme
Raumtemperatur und legen Sie die benötigten Sachen bereit, damit Sie alles
gribereit haben. Für eine entspannte und ruhige Atmosphäre sorgen
(z. B. Handy, Telefon und Türklingel ausstellen).
• Füllen Sie die Babybadewanne mit warmen Wasser bis zu dem
an der Wannenseite markierten Niveau „MAX“.
• Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass das Wasser nicht zu warm ist.
Es sollte nicht mehr als 37°C (99°F) haben.

2.6 Das Bedienfeld Luftmassagetasten Rechts / Links Statusanzeige

2.6.1 Aktivierungstaste und Statusanzeige
Aktivierungstaste
Die Aktivierungstaste dient dazu, das ausgeschaltete Gerät in Betrieb zu setzen.
Statusanzeige
• Grünes Dauerlicht signalisiert Betriebsbereitschaft (Funktionstasten
können aktiviert werden) und zeigt den Betrieb an
• Rotes Blinklicht laden (s. 2.4.2)
• Rotes Dauerlicht laden beendet/Akku ist vollständig geladen
• Keine Anzeige Gerät ist ausgeschaltet
2.6.2 Funktionstasten
Hinweis: Alle Funktionstasten können gleichzeitig oder separat benutzt werden.
Luftmassagetaste Links
Ein- und Ausschalten der Luftmassage. Die Softdüsen auf der linken Seite des Whirlpools
werden in Gang gesetzt bzw. gestoppt.
Luftmassagetaste Rechts
Ein- und Ausschalten der Luftmassage. Die Softdüsen auf der rechten Seite des Whirlpools
werden in Gang gesetzt bzw. gestoppt.
Farbwahltaste
Einschalten: kurz drücken = Beginn des Kreislaufes von 7 sich abwechselnden Farben
Farbauswahl: durch langes Drücken der Farbauswahltaste kann eine von 7 Farben
ausgewählt werden, die dann durchgehend leuchtet
Ausschalten: kurz auf Taste drücken

2.7 Inbetriebnahme des Whirlpools
2.7.1 Auswahl des Wannenbereichs
Liege- und Sitzbereich
• Liegebereich für Neugeborene in den ersten Wochen
Halten Sie Ihr Baby während des Bades fest.
Beachten Sie hierzu die Sicherheitshinweise (s. 1).
• Der Sitzbereich bietet mehr Raum, wenn das Baby etwas größer ist.
Bitte den SPA Whirlpool nicht mehr verwenden, wenn das Kind
selbstständig sitzen kann.
2.7.2 Betrieb ohne Verwendung des Netzadapters
• Um den Akku aufzuladen, s. 2.4.2
• Ist das Gerät ausgeschaltet (Statusanzeige aus), wird es durch eine kurze Betätigung der
Aktivierungstaste in Betrieb gesetzt. Die Statusanzeige wechselt auf grünes Dauerlicht.
Jetzt können Sie die gewünschten Funktionen wählen.
2.7.3 Betrieb unter Verwendung des Netzadapters
• Der Netzadapter dient sowohl zum Betrieb, als auch zum Laden des Akkus.
• Wird der Netzstecker eingesteckt, wechselt die Statusanzeige auf grünes Dauerlicht
Betriebsbereitschaft. Jetzt können Sie die gewünschten Funktionen wählen.
• Erfolgt keine Funktionswahl, so wechselt die Statusanzeige nach 60 Sekunden, auf rotes Blinklicht.
Der Akku wird geladen (s. 2.4.2). Dieser Ladevorgang kann jederzeit durch die Betätigung einer
Funktionstaste abgebrochen werden.
TIPP: Der sichere Badegri
Der Whirlpool eignet sich besonders gut für die Anwendung des von Hebammen
empfohlenen Badegriffs: Mit der rechten Hand unter dem Köpfchen des Babys
hindurch greifen und das Kind unter der rechten Achsel fassen, indem Ihr Daumen
auf der Schulter des Babys liegt. Der Kopf liegt dann auf Ihrem Unterarm, dieser
kann am Wannenrand bequem angelehnt werden. Die andere Hand umfasst die
Füße des Babys, um es sanft in die Wanne gleiten zu lassen. Wer lieber mit der
linken Hand hält, greift einfach anders herum.

2.8 Nach dem Baden
• Nach dem Baden schalten Sie die Luftmassagetasten und die Farbwahltaste aus.
Der Whirlpool schaltet sich dann nach 60 Sekunden automatisch ab (Statusanzeige erlischt).
• Hinweis: Eine integrierte Laufzeitbegrenzung schaltet den Whirlpool nach 20 Minuten automatisch ab.
Sie können den Whirlpool durch Drücken einer Funktionstaste sofort wieder aktiviert.
• Zum Entleeren nutzen Sie den beigefügten Ablaufschlauch.
Im Anschluss führen Sie die Reinigung durch (s. 2.9.1).
• Laden Sie nach dem Bad Ihren Baby Spa Whirlpool wieder vollständig auf. (s. 2.4.2).
• Bitte führen Sie nach jedem zweiten Bad eine Desinfektion durch (s. 2.9.2)
2.9 Reinigung, Pflege und Desinfektion
2.9.1 Reinigung und Pflege
• Bei der Reinigung und Pflege der Wanne ziehen Sie bitte vorher den Netzstecker.
• Benutzen Sie einen Schwamm oder ein weiches Tuch. Reinigen Sie die Babybadewanne
mit lauwarmen Wasser und einem PH-neutralen Reinigungsmittel.
• Entleeren Sie die Wanne anschließend mit Hilfe des Ablaufschlauches.
• Verwenden Sie keine Lösungsmittel oder ätzende und scheuernde Reinigungsmittel,
Sie schaden damit der Wannen- und der Düsenoberfläche.
• Anschließend Netzadapter einstecken, die Wanne mit etwas Wasser füllen und nachspülen.
Entleeren und beide Luftmassagetasten zum Trockenblasen einige Minuten in Betrieb
nehmen - fertig!
• Sollte es durch stark kalkhaltiges Wasser zu einer Verkalkung des Whirlpools gekommen
sein, so füllen Sie den Whirlpool bis zur „MAX“ Markierung, geben einen haushaltsüblichen
Kalkentferner in der vorgeschriebenen Dosierung hinzu und starten Sie das Desinfektionsprogramm
( s. 2.9.2). Anschließend entleeren und normale Reinigung durchführen.

2.9.2 Desinfektion
Achtung: Baby niemals in das Desinfektionsbad legen!
Während der Desinfektion Kinder vom Whirlpool fernhalten!
Um die hygienische Unbedenklichkeit der Babybadewanne zu gewährleisten, ist die
chemische Desinfektion mit dem beigefügten Desinfektionsmittel nach folgendem
Schema unumgänglich:
• Bitte führen Sie Desinfektion vor jedem 3. Bad durch. Wurde die Wanne
länger als 3 Wochen nicht benutzt, so ist die Wanne vor der nächsten
Anwendung ebenfalls zu desinfizieren.
• Die Babybadewanne dafür bis 5 cm (2 Inch) über die Markierung „MAX“
mit Wasser füllen. Geben Sie dann ca. 18ml / 0,6 ounce bzw.
4 Verschlusskappen Koller-Desinfektionsmittel in den Whirlpool.
• Anschließend den Desinfektionsmodus aktivieren.
Desinfektionsmodus
• Beide Lufttasten gleichzeitig 3 Sekunden lang drücken. Dieser Modus wird durch
rotes Blinken des Farblichtes signalisiert.
• In einem Zeitraum von 30 Minuten wird die Luftmassage automatisch im Wechsel betrieben.
Nach Beendigung der Desinfektion wechselt das Farblicht auf blaues Dauerlicht.
• Durch Betätigung der Farblichttaste bestätigen Sie die Beendigung der Desinfektion und
schalten das Farblicht ab.
• Ein Abbrechen des Desinfektionsmodus ist nicht möglich.
• Nachdem der Desinfektionsmodus beendet ist, kann die Wanne in den Badezimmerabfluss
entleert werden. Benutzen Sie dafür den Ablaufschlauch.
Anschließend muss die Reinigung (s. 2.9.1) durchgeführt werden, um eventuelle
Rückstände des Desinfektionsmittels zu entfernen!

4 Aufbewahrung und Lagerung
Bewahren Sie das Gerät in der waagerechten Position und nicht unter 0°C (32°F)
oder über +50°C (122°F) auf.
5 Altgeräteentsorgung
Dieses Gerät enthält elektronische Bauteile und Akkumulatoren. Bitte entsorgen Sie es nicht über
den Hausmüll, sondern über die dafür vorgesehene Elektroaltgeräte Entsorgung. Erkundigen Sie
sich im Zweifelsfall bei den in Ihrem Land zuständigen Behörden und Gemeinden.
6 Garantie
Es gilt eine Garantie von 6 Monaten ab Kaufdatum (Kassenbon bitte aufbewahren). Innerhalb
der Garantiezeit werden unentgeltlich Mängel an Gerät und Zubehör*, die auf Material- oder
Herstellungsfehlern beruhen, durch Reparatur oder nach Ermessen des Herstellers, durch
Umtausch beseitigt.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen (z.B. Akku), als auch Reinigung,
Wartung oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen fallen nicht unter die Garantie und sind
deshalb kostenpflichtig.
Garantieleistungen bewirken weder eine Verlängerung der Garantiefrist, noch beginnt dadurch
ein Anspruch auf eine neue Garantie.
Als Garantienachweis gilt der Kaufbeleg. Ohne diesen Nachweis ist eine Inanspruchnahme der
kostenlosen Garantieleistungen nicht möglich.
Im Garantiefall geben Sie bitte das komplette Gerät möglichst in der Originalverpackung
zusammen mit dem Kassenbon an Ihren Händler.
Die Garantie erlischt bei Fremdeingri!
*Schäden an Zubehörteilen führen nicht automatisch zum kostenlosen Umtausch des kompletten Whirlpools.

7 Serviceadressen
Für die Desinfektion empfehlen wir KOLLER-Desinfektionsmittel (Best.-Nr. Koller: 70-700). Es können
ebenso handelsübliche flüssige Desinfektionsmittel, mit weniger als 1% aktivem Chlorgehalt, verwen-
det werden.

1 Important Warnings
WARNING - DANGER OF DROWNING!
• This product is a bathing aid and does not provide additional safety
with regard to the risks associated with water!
• Children have drowned while bathing.
• Children can drown in as little as 2 cm (1 inch) of water in a very short time.
• Always remain in contact with your child during bathing.
• Never leave your baby unattended in the bath, even for a few moments.
If you need to leave the room, take the baby with you.
• Risk of scalding! Check the temperature of the water (maximum 37° C / 99°F).
Keep the child away from the water tap!
• Before bathing, make sure that the product is positioned correctly and safely!
• Do not use if the product is defective, if there is a part missing or borken - Risk of injury!
• Use only original replacement parts from Rotho Babydesign.
• The product may not be used or operated by persons (e.g. children) with restricted
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of knowledge!
• Make sure that the castors of the stand are locked.

Congratulations on your purchase of the Baby Spa Whirlpool tub!
The whirlpool bath oers your baby a completely new world of relaxation. The whirlpool bath
ensures relaxation and is fun at the same time. The pleasing play of colours creates a
special atmosphere for your baby's bath. Gentle massage by flowing air helps calm and
energize your baby. Depending on the way of use, the bath is also stimulating or ensures
restful sleep.
Your Baby Spa Whirlpool tub is equipped with a special option of operation without
connection to the mains; you can find all information as well as additional useful tips and
important safety instructions in the Instructions for Use.

2 Safety and Operating Instructions
2.1 Before initial operation
2.1.1 Charge batteries!
• Fully charge the battery prior to first use. The charging process is ended automatically as soon as
the battery is charged. Overcharging is therefore impossible.
• The charging process is complete after approx. 6 hours, which is indicated by a continuously
lit status display, see 2.4.2.
2.1.2 Disinfection
• Before the first use and after every second use, you should follow the disinfection and cleaning
procedure described in 2.9.
• Never put the baby into the disinfecting bath! Keep the whirlpool tub out of the reach of children
during disinfecting!
• Do not use bath additives as these might clog the jet apertures.
2.2 Verifying the Correct Function
• Before every use, check the equipment, power pack and cable for damage.
Do not put the equipment into operation if damaged.
• To prevent danger, do not attempt to repair the equipment and cable yourself;
refer to the service addresses listed on the last page.
• Only use original accessories.
2.3 Safe Positioning
• Choose a safe place and position the equipment on a flat, horizontal and stable surface.
Never put the whirlpool tub on a slanted surface.
• SPA Whirlpool should only be uses with Spa Whirlpool stand 20097 0022.
• Make sure that the castors of the stand are locked.
• Do not place the tub near an electric switchboard and keep a minimum distance
of 24 inches (60 cm) from mains sockets!
• Keep the tub at a safe distance from heat sources!
• To protect children, for example little brothers or sisters, from danger caused by electric
equipment, make sure that the cable is not hanging down and that children cannot reach it.

2.4 Handling Electrical Components
Please observe the following precautions and safety instructions:
• Never immerse the plug, cable and outer side of the whirlpool tub
in any liquid (the whirlpool tub is not designed for use in water).
2.4.1 Electrical connection
• Your Baby Spa Whirlpool tub is equipped with a power pack enabling its operation in all of
Europe (except the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus and Malta).
• When using this power pack, your Baby Spa Whirlpool tub is supplied with a safe voltage of 12 VDC.
• Never touch the electrical connectors with wet hands.
• Before operation or charging, connect the connector of the equipment in the respective
opening at the bottom of the tub.
• Connect the mains plug only to a mains socket properly installed in compliance with the regulations!
2.4.2 Charging the batteries
• Connect the equipment to a wall socket using the power pack. After 60 seconds, the status
display in the control panel will automatically change from a green continuous light to a red
flashing light. The battery is now charging. A charging process is complete after approx. 6 hours.
• The charging process can be interrupted at any time by pressing a function button.
The whirlpool is then in operating mode. The battery is not charged during operation.
• Once the charging process is complete, the status display changes to a red continuous light (see 2.6.1).
• Once the charging process is complete, unplug the power pack from the wall socket
(Caution: pull at the plug, not at the cable).
• When disconnecting the cable from the equipment, please pull at the cable because it is a special
connector protected against splash water.
2.5 Preparing the Bath
• Please observe all warning notes listed in these Instructions for Use.
• Check that both the outer and inner bottoms of the tub are clean and not slippery.
• Before bathing, please remove any bathing residues using a cleaning agent with
neutral pH and water and then rinse with clean water (see 2.9.1).
• Please complete the disinfection procedure before every 3rd bath. If the bath
has not been used for more than 3 weeks, it also needs to be disinfected before
the next use (see 2.9.2). Ensure an agreeable room temperature and prepare
all needed items so that you have them within your reach. Ensure a relaxed
and calm atmosphere (e.g. switch o your mobile phone, phone and doorbell).
• Fill the tub with warm water up to the “MAX” level
marked on the side of the tub.
• Please make sure that the water is not too hot.
The temperature should not exceed 99°F (37°C).

2.6.1 Activation button and status display

2.7 Putting the Whirlpool in Operation
2.7.1 Selection of the tub area
Side for newborns and little babies
• Use the lying area for newborns up to the age of approx. 6 months.
Hold the baby during bathing. Follow the applicable
safety instructions (see 1).
• Use the seating part when the baby is taller.
The Spa Whirlpool can be used until the child can sit without support.
2.7.2 Operation without using the power pack
• For charging the battery see 2.4.2
• If the equipment is switched off (status display off) it can be switched on again by briefly pressing
the activation button. The status indicator changes to continuous green light. You can now selec
the desired functions.
2.7.3 Operation using the power pack
• The power pack serves both for the operation and for charging of the battery.
• When the mains plug is connected, the status display changes to a continuous green light
Ready for operation. You can now select the desired functions.
• If no function is selected for 60 seconds, the status display changes to a flashing red light.
The battery is being charged (see 2.4.2). The charging process can be interrupted at any
time by pressing a function button.
TIPP: Safe putting into the bath
The whirlpool tub is particularly suitable for the use of the safe grip recommended
by midwives: Put your right hand under the head of the baby and grip him/her in
the armpit of the right arm so that your thumb rests on the baby’s shoulder. The
baby's head is supported on your forearm, which you can lean comfortably on the
edge of the tub. The other hand holds the baby’s legs and helps him/her slide into
the tub gently. If you prefer to hold the baby with your left hand, grip the baby the
other way round.

2.8 After the Bath
• After the bath, switch o the air massage buttons and the colour selector button
The whirlpool will then switch o automatically after 60 seconds (status display goes o).
• Note: An integrated running time limit switches the whirlpool o automatically after 20 minutes.
Press any function button for immediate reactivation of the whirlpool.
• Empty the bath using the supplied draining tube. After that, clean the tub (see 2.9.1).
• Fully charge your Baby Spa Whirlpool after the bath. (see 2.4.2).
• Please complete the disinfection procedure after every second bath (see 2.9.2)
2.9 Cleaning, Care and Disinfection
2.9.1 Cleaning and care
• Please disconnect the mains plug from the power supply before performing any cleaning
and care of the tub.
• Use a sponge or soft cloth. Clean the tub with tepid water and a cleaning agent with neutral pH.
• Use the supplied draining tube to empty the tub.
• Do not use solvents or caustic and abrasive cleaning agents to prevent damage to the surface
of the tub and the jets.
• Next, connect the power pack, fill the tub with little water and rinse it. Drain the water and
operate both air massage buttons for a few minutes to dry the tub – done! (see 2.7.2)
• If in case of very hard water the whirlpool gets clogged with scale, fill the tub up to the “MAX” mark,
add the prescribed dose of a commercially available descaling agent and start the disinfecting
program (see 2.10.2). Next, empty the tub and clean it in the normal manner.

2.9.2 Disinfection
Caution: Never put the baby into the disinfecting bath!
Caution: Keep the whirlpool tub out of the reach of children during disinfecting!
To ensure hygienic safety of the children’s bathtub it is necessary to perform chemical
disinfection using the supplied disinfectant (for re-orders see 8) according to the
following schedule:
• Please disinfect the tub before every 3rd bath. If the bath has not been
used for more than 3 weeks, it also needs to be disinfected before the
next use.
• For the disinfection, fill the baby bathtub with water to 2 inches (5 cm)
above the “MAX” indication. Then add approximately 0.6 ounces / 18 ml
or 4 caps of Koller-disinfectant in the whirlpool.
• Activate the disinfection mode.
Disinfection mode
• Press both air buttons simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds.
This mode is indicated by red flashing of the colour light.
• The air massage will automatically be run alternately for 30 minutes.
Once disinfection is complete, the colour light changes to a blue continuous light.
• Press the colour light button to confirm the end of the disinfecting cycle and to switch
o the colour light.
• The disinfection mode cannot be interrupted.
• Upon completion of the disinfection mode, the tub can be emptied into the bathroom outlet.
Use the supplied draining tube.
Next, perform the cleaning procedure (see 2.9.1) to remove any disinfectant residues!

4 Srorage
Store the equipment in horizontal position and at a temperature

5 Disposal of old equipment
This equipment contains electronic components and batteries. Please do not dispose of it in the munici-
pal waste. Take it to a collection point for waste electrical equipment for disposal. If in doubt, contact
the competent authorities and municipalities in your country.
6 Warranty
The warranty is 6 months from the date of purchase (please keep the receipt). Within the warranty
period, any faults on the equipment and accessories1 caused by defects in material or workmanship
will be remedied free of charge either by repair or replacement, at the discretion of the manufacturer.
Any faults on the consumable accessories or wear parts (e.g. the battery) as well as the cleaning,
maintenance or replacement of wear parts are not covered by the warranty and are chargeable.
Any services provided under the warranty will not lead to the extension of the warranty period
or to the right to a new warranty.
The purchase document shall be deemed proof of warranty. No free warranty services will be
provided without this document.
In case of a warranty repair or replacement, please present the complete equipment, preferably
in the original packaging, together with the receipt, to your dealer.
Any unauthorised manipulation will void the warranty!
*Damage on the components of accessories will not automatically imply free replacement of the entire whirlpool tub.
