thermostat. Gentlypull the controlpanel
straight offthe base. Forcingorpryingon
the thermostatwill causedamagetothe
unit.
2.Connect wiresbeneathterminalscrews
on powersupplymoduleusing
appropriatewiringschematic. See figure4
3. Pushpowerbaseintowall.
4.Usingtwomountingscrewsmount the
powerbasetothe wall. Placealevel
against bottomofbase, adjust until level,
and then tighten screws. (Levelingisfor
appearanceonlyandwillnot affect
thermostat operation.)

activate/deactivateheatingsystembycomparingsettemperaturewithroomtemperature. Press ▲to
adjustthermostatsettingaboveroomtemperature1 infastheatingmodeor3 inslowheatingmode,

OPERATION
1. ConfigurationMenu
Theconfiguration menu allowsyoutosetcertainthermostatoperatingcharacteristicstoyoursystem
orpersonalrequirements. Shortlypress button ①tomakesurethethermostatisinanti-freezemode.
Holdbutton ③for3 secondstoentertheconfigurationmenu. Thedisplaywillshowthefirstiteminthe
configurationmenu. Press button ③toshifttothenextmenuitem. Use ▲or▼toselect. Toexit the
menu, press button ①reverttotheanti-freezemode. Press button ④reverttotheprogramoperation.
If nobuttonsarepressedwithin20 secondthethermostatwill exitthemenu. Toreverttofactorydefault
setting, push ▲&▼buttoninasametimefor3 seconds. Displaywill show “DEF”blinking 3 timesand
returntoMenu item1 indicatesall theconfigurationsettinghasrevertedtofactorydefault setting.

calibratedatthefactorybutyouhavetheoptiontochangethedisplaytemperaturetomatchyourprevious
thermostat.Thecurrentoradjustedroomtemperaturewillbedisplayedon therightsideofthedisplay.
2)Selectmaximumtemperaturesetpoint
Thisfeatureprovidesamaximumsetpointtemperaturef. Thedefault settingis35 (95℉), Itcan
bechangedbetween18 (64℉)to35 (95℉)
3)Selectminimumtemperaturesetpoint.
Thisfeatureprovidesaminimumsetpointtemperature.Thedefaultsettingis5 (41℉),Itcanbe
changedbetween5 (41℉)to20 (68℉)
4) Select or ℃readout.
ChangesthedisplayreadouttoCentigradeorFahrenheitasrequired
5) Selectfastheating orslowheating
SelectFAtostartheatingimmediatelywhenthesetpointis1 abovetheroomtemperature.Select
SLtostartheatingonlywhenthesetpointis3 abovetheroomtemperature.
6) Selectpumpprotectionmode
Forhotwaterinstallations, it isrecommendedtoactivatethepump atleast15 secondevery24 hours
inordertoavoidany seizing. SelectPPwill activatepump protectionmode.SelectOO will cancelthe
function.Whenthermostatactivatingthepump, program running inthedisplaywill blink.

2. ManualOperation
1) Anti-freezing mode
You canpresspowerbutton ①toactivatetheanti-freezing mode.TheunitonlydisplaysClocktime,
WeekdayandRoomtemperature.Thedefaultsettemperatureforanti-freezing modeis5 .During
anti-freezing mode,ifroomtemperaturedecreaseto5 ,theunit willactivatetheheatingsystemtill room
temperaturereachto9 .Forhotwaterinstallations,ifPPhadbeenselected(SeeConfigurationmenu
item6),theunit willactivatethepumpatleast15 secondsevery24 hoursinordertoavoidanyseizing.
Press powerbutton ①againwillterminatetheanti-freezingmodeandreturntonormaloperation mode.
2) ProgramoperationandHoldtemperatureoperation
Momentarilypress button ④,thethermostatwill controltheheatingsystembypresetprogramandif
press ④over3secondsthethermostatwill enterintoholdtemperatureoperation.Prog running
showswhenthermostatisinprogramoperation.Thermostatcontrolstheheatingsystembypresetting
program.See Planningyourprogram section.inpage6. Hold showswhenthermostatisinhold
temperatureoperation. Thethermostatwill holdtheroomtemperatureattheselectedsetting
3) Temperatureoverride
Duringprogramoperation,Press ▲or ▼untilthetemperatureyou wantisdisplayed.Thethermostat
will overridethecurrentprogrammingandkeeptheroomtemperatureattheselectedtemperatureuntilthe
nextprogramperiodbegins. Thenthethermostatwill automaticallyreverttotheprogram.
4) VacationTemperaturehold
Continuepressingbutton ③over3secondsuntil displaywill showVacationindicatesyouhavenow
enteredintovacationhold，Usetimekey ②or ③toselectthenumberofthedays(from1 to99 days)
duringyourvacation.，youcanuse ▲or▼toadjustthetemperatureduring yourholiday.Pushbutton ④
toreverttoprogramoperation.。
5) Resetoperation
If thedisplayisabnormal,press theResetbutton byusingafineprobesuchasastraightenedpaper
cliptogentlypushtheRestbutton. Thiswill resetthethermostat.
3. Setcurrentday and time
1) Press ②button.Thedisplaywill showthehourflashing.
2) Press andholdeither ▲or▼until youreachthecorrecthourandAM/PMdesignation.(AMbegins
atnight,PMbeginsatnoon)
3) Press ②buttononce again. Thedisplaywill onlyshowminutesflashing
4) Press and holdeither ▲or▼untilyoureachthecorrectminutes
5) Press ②buttononce again. Thedisplaywill showthedayoftheweekflashing.
6) Press ▲or▼until youreachthecorrectdayoftheweek
Press button ④once.Thedisplaywillshowthecorrectdayoftheweekandthetime.Ifnokeys
arepressedwithin20 seconds, thethermostatwill reverttoprogramoperation.

4．Planning yourprogram
Look atthefactorypreprogrammedtimesandtemperaturesshowninthesampleschedule.Ifthis
programwill suit yourneeds, simplypress the ④button tobeginrunningthefactorypresetprogram.
If youwanttochangethepreprogrammedtimeandtemperature, followthesesteps.
Determinethetimesperiod andtemperatureforyourprogram.Youmustprogramfourperiodsfor
eachday.Youcanchooseheatingtemperatureand starttimeindependently.(forexample,youmayselect
5:00 AMand 21 astheweekday1st periodheatingstarttimeandtemperatureandalsochoose7:00 AM
and 24 andtheweekday1st periodcoolingstarttimeandtemperature)
Usethetabletoplanyourprogramtimeperiodsandthetemperaturesyouwantduringeachperiod.Fill in
thecompletetabletohavearecordofyourprogram

1).Press ③once. PRGMSETTING will display. “MOTUWETHFR”(indicatingweekday
program)will appearinthedisplay.Alsobedisplayedarethecurrentlyprogrammed starttimesforthe
1stheatingperiod andthecurrentlyprogrammedtemperature(flashing), icon indicates1st
programperiod(Getup)setting。
2).Press ②tosettheprogrammedtimeorprogrammed temperature ，Press ②once (the
programmedtemperaturewill flash) ，Press ▲or▼tochangethedisplayedtemperaturetoyour
selectedtemperatureforthe1stheatingprogramperiod.
3).Press ②once (theprogrammedtimewill flash).Press ▲or▼until yourselectedtimeappears.
Thetimewill changein15-minuteincrements.Whenyourselectedtimeisdisplayed, pressTIME
againtoreturntothechangetemperaturemode.。
4).Press ③once，icon 2nd programperiod（Goout）display，hecurrentlyprogrammed
starttimeandsetpointtemperatureforthe2ndheatingprogramperiod will appear
5).Repeatsteps3 and4 toselectthestarttimeand heatingtemperatureforthe2ndheatingprogram
period.
6).Repeatsteps3 through5 forthe3rdand4thheatingprogramperiods
7).Press ③once. “SA”(indicating Saturdayprogram)willappearinthedisplay, along withthe
starttimeforthe1stheatingperiodandthecurrentlyprogrammedtemperature.
8).Repeatsteps3 through7 tocompleteSaturdayheatingprogramming.

9).Press ③once tochangetoSU(Sunday)heatingprogrammingandrepeatsteps3 through7 to
completeSundayprogramming.
10). Whenyouhavecompletedenteringyourheatingprogram,press ④.
REVERTTO FACTORYDEFAULTPROGRAMSETTING
Press ③buttonenterintoprogramsetting. Press ▲&▼atthesametimefor3 seconds. Displaywill
showDEFblinkingfor3 timesandbacktoprogramsetting. Press the ④buttontobeginrunningthe
factorypresetprogram.If nokeysarepressedwithin20 sec, thethermostatwill reverttoprogram
operation.
CHECK YOURPROGRAMMING
Followthesestepstocheckyourthermostatprogramming onefinaltimebeforebeginning thermostat
operation.
1. Press button ③toviewthe1stweekdayheatingperiodtimeandtemperature. Eachtimeyoupress
button ③, thenextheatingperiodtimeandtemperaturewill bedisplayedinsequence forweekday,
thenSaturdayandSundayprogramperiods(youmaychangeanytimeortemperatureduringthis
procedure).
Press button ④tobeginprogramoperation.
