LIMITED WARRANTY
The Russound ACT-1 and ACT-1UK are fully guaranteed for Two (2) years from the date of purchase
against all defects in materials and workmanship. During this period Russound will replace any defec-
tive parts and correct any defect in workmanship without charge for either parts or labor. For this
warranty to apply, the unit must be installed and used according to its written instructions. If service is
necessary, it must be performed by Russound. The unit must be returned to Russound at the owner’s
expense and with prior written permission. Accidental damage and shipping damage are not consid-
ered defects under the terms of the warranty. Russound assumes no responsibility for defects resulting
from abuse or servicing performed by an agency or person not specifically authorized in writing by
Russound. Damage to or destruction of components due to improper use voids the warranty. In these
cases the repair will be made at the owner’s expense. To return for repairs, the unit must be shipped to
Russound at the owner’s expense, along with a note explaining the nature of the service required. Be
sure to pack in a corrugated container with at least 3 inches of resilient material to protect the unit
from damage in transit.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The ACT-1 is a 12 Volt DC triggered 120 or 230 VAC outlet with a re-set-
table circuit breaker. The ACT-1 can switch up to 10 Amps to a power strip
or a single component. When activated by a 12 Volt Trigger output (from an
audio distribution system for example) the ACT-1 can be used to turn on the
power to several audio components or other devices.
MOUNTING
The ACT-1 can be mounted to a flat surface using the holes located along
the side flanges. See Figure 1.
CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS
Connect the ACT-1 to the component with the 12 Volt triggered ouput
(rated at 100mA or greater) using an 1/8” jack. The tip is positive (+) and the
sleeve is negative (-). Plug the ACT-1 ACpower cord into a standard 120VAC
outlet (230VACon UKmodel) and plug the component or power strip into
the AC outlet on the side of the ACT-1. See Figure 2.
The 12 Volt Trigger Output can be used to loop the 12V trigger to another
device.
