High-Efficiency speakers are the first
speakers designed specifically for
amplified volume controls. They feature
lightweight, responsive tweeters that
deliver accurate high-end frequency
response in low-power applications.

of the Ratio speakers allow them to
produce more sound from lower-
powered audio systems. More
sound from less power prevents the
need for the installation of addition
amplifiers and wiring, making for an
easier, less costly installation.

Ratio®
High-Efficiency Speakers
Installation is easy with Ratio. Once a mounting hole is
cut, the mounting ring (bottom) is installed. The speaker
(center) is pushed into the hole until the yellow spring clips
snap closed, fastening the speaker in place. That’s it.

The new Ratio lineup consists of fi ve
models designed for in-wall, in-ceiling
and outdoor applications.
The in-ceiling RC61 features a
6 1/2” woofer with a 1/2” tweeter
for outstanding room coverage
and broad frequency
response.
The RC61S shares features with
the RC61, but uses a pair of 1/2”
tweeters and is designed for
single-point stereo applications.
The RC81 is also for in-ceiling
installations, and offers true fi delity
in a compact, 8” form factor.
For in-wall installation, the RW691
offers a 6” x 9” confi guration
for effi cient performance, while
using less space than a traditional
speaker design.
Designed and built to
withstand the rigors of outdoor
environments, the RM691 features
a corrosion-resistant aluminum
grille and ABS enclosure to assure
durability in any kind of weather.

Single Point Stereo
Faster Installation
The high-effi ciency design carries on
beyond their operation. In addition
to high-effi ciency output, the Ratio
line of speakers also features
spring-clip locking retainers for
faster, easier installation. For
in-ceiling speakers, once the
mounting hole is cut, the
speaker is simply pressed
into place and locked into
position by the spring-clips.
For in–wall speakers, installation is
similar, although dogleg clamps are
used for fi nal speaker positioning
and adjustment.
