Atmosphere plays upon the already
successful Advantage Loudspeakers Series
delivered by Russound through capturing
its aesthetic design elements and keeping
the popular sizes and shapes. In fact,
Atmosphere has the same “installed”
ultra-flush appearance. These loudspeakers
were designed to fit in the same cut-outs
using the identical new-construction brackets.
This further extends the breadth of price and
performance by supporting mix-and-match of
both Advantage and Atmosphere offerings.
Design
The Atmosphere design is comprehensive.
Russound design efforts are not the typi-
cal “baton hand-off” from one function to
the next; instead, we concentrate on the
seamless integration of related disciplines.
We use world-famous industrial designers
who develop products
concurrently with
our acoustical engineering
team. The result
is a product that has both award-winning
aesthetic qualities combined with
industry-leading sound performance

beautifully our tweeter integrates with the
baffle, providing qualities
that are visually

Cone Technology
Russound’s use of technology and talent are
unparalleled in this product category.
Russound engineers utilized state-of-the-art
solid-modeling CAD with integrated FEA
(Finite Element Analysis) to design
a new injection molded cone technology.
While virtually all product offerings from
the competition use commonly available
poly cones, this new structural rib design
affords a cone that is both lighter and stiffer.
The result is improved efficiency, enhanced
bass performance and greater musical
detail through better transient response.
