• Never let children or persons with limited abilities operate this camera
or accessory. The camera and accessory can only be operated by per-
sons physically and mentally able to operate it safely.
POWER SUPPLY AND ELECTRICAL HAZARD
• If the camera is damaged or has foreign matter intrusion, please shut
down immediately and remove the batteries, otherwise there is fire or
explosion danger.
• Using an external power source may cause electric shock or fire.
Please keep the camera and power dry and ventilated, and forbid any
object to cover.
• The power supply can’t be used during thunder or lightning. Otherwise
it may cause electric shock or other accidents.

• Never use corrosive chemicals to clean the camera.
• Keep away from high temperatures or combustibles. Do not put bat-
teries into the fire, which may cause fire or explosion.
• Never disassemble or repair the camera. If necessary, please contact
a professional or contact a dealer.
LCD SCREEN
• Do not squeeze or knock at the LCD screen
• If LCD screen broken, and accidently touch the liquid, rinse immediate-
ly with lots of clean water .In case of contact with eyes , rinse the eyes
with lots of clean water immediately and go to see doctor immediately.
In case of swallow the liquid, rinse the mouth with clean waters, drink
plenty of water and go to see doctor immediately.
USE, PROTECTION AND STORAGE
• Must place the camera on sturdy surfaces in case of any damage or
injury.
• Never use the camera upside down, or immerse the camera in water.
• All locks and plugs must be fastened before working.
• If you do not use the camera, must take out the batteries and place it in
a dry place
• Collision, fall and other man-made damage is out of the warranty ,
need to pay for repair.
WASTE DISPOSAL
• Cameras and accessories should not be disposed according to hous-
ehold waste, and should not be discarded at will.
• Please sort according to local laws. Please consult relevant local de-
partments for specific information.

1. ABOUT CAMERA
Thank you for purchasing this HD camera with night vision. Please contact us timely if
you have any issues during the use of the camera.
1.1 MAIN FEATURES
The camera works automatically to take pictures of moving people or animals. Widely
used in animal shooting, hunting, family security and other applications. It has the fol-
lowing features:

1.2 COMPUTER SYSTEM REQUIREMENT
The camera can connect to computer to copy files, playback and used as U disk .If the
camera is connected to computer, the following specifications are required at least: The
Pentium2.0 GHZ or upper processor/Windows XP or upper system/2GB RAM/80GB or
more ROM/Standard USB2.0 port or upper port/1GB or more display card/1024x768 or
higher screen definition.

1.4 KEY FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
2.1 INSTALLATION OF THE SD CARD
• This camera must use with a SD card, please format the SD card before first use of it.
See operation method 4.19.
• Please install SD card according to below steps:
As shown in the picture, open the latches and front housing; insert the SD card with
metal contactors facedown. Push the SD card to slot until a “click” is sounded which
means SD card installation is finished.
NOTICE: Do not take out the SD card when the camera is working, otherwise the SD
card might damage or lose data.
Please use qualified SD card and the transfer speed should be CLASS 4(included) or
above. Do not use poor quality SD card , otherwise the camera might not recognize it or
even can’t be powered on.

2.2 INSTALLATION OF BATTERY
Use 4 or 8 pcs AA batteries to power on the camera, the following is installation method:
• As shown in the picture, open the latches of battery cover, then open battery cover.
• Install batteries according to the polarity sign on the latch. If only use 4 pcs batteries,
please install them in the left two holes.
• Keep the clean of battery cover, close it and then close the latches.
• Push the [Slide] key to “TEST” to check, if the screen is power on means the batteries
are installed correctly.
NOTICE: Please install batteries according to instruction, do not mix use of new and old
batteries. With only 4pcs AA batteries, the battery life will be shorter.
Incorrect batteries installation can’t power on the camera and may cause damage or
accident.
After installation, please close the latches firmly in case of dust or liquid infiltration.
2.3 USING AN ADAPTOR (ADAPTER NOT INCLUDED)
The camera also can be powered by adaptor as external power supply, see steps as
below:
• Install AA batteries, set all parameters, push the [Slide] key to “ON” mode, close the
housing of camera.
• Take down the waterproof rubber plug of DC IN port, insert the DC plug into the DC IN
port tightly.
• Insert the adaptor plug into the socket. After being detected, the camera will switch to
use the external power supply automatically.

NOTICE: Please use a standard adaptor that is marked output DC6V/2.0A.

2.4 CONNECT TO PC
The camera can be connected to PC; users can transfer files, check photos and videos.
• Push the [Slide] key to “TEST” mode.
• As shown on below picture, use USB cable to connect camera and PC.
• After connection users will see ” ” on camera screen and “New disk driver” on PC
display. Then it can be operated as a normal U disk on PC.
NOTICE: When connecting to the computer, [Slide] key should be set to the ”TEST” posi-
tion. Ensure all cables are reliably connected.
If the computer configuration does not meet the requirements, it may not work pro-
perly when connecting the camera.

2.5 INSTALL THE CAMERA
In order to achieve good image eect and make sure the camera can work safely, please
install the camera on sturdy surfaces. Strap or holders are available to install it.
• Use strap to install
Pass through the buckles behind the camera with a strap, then install it on a tree or
other sturdy place, fasten the strap. Please see below pictures.
• Use holder to install
Install the mounting bracket reliably on the fixed object (e.g. wall or tree), screw the
supporting screw into the screw hole at the bottom of the camera, and tighten it. Ad-
just the camera angle and tighten all the screws. As following picture shows:
NOTICE: If installed close to the ground, make sure the bottom of the camera is more
than 20CM from the ground.

• Test shot before use
To ensure that the camera works properly, please do the test shot before use.
1. Push the [Slide] key to “TEST” mode, press [OK] key to take several
photos;
2. Press [Mode] key to shift to “Video” mode, then press [OK] key to start to
record a video.
3. Press [Mode] key to shift to “Playback” mode, users can playback photos or videos
on the screen, to check whether the camera is working properly.
• Monitor shooting
Set the camera parameters, install the camera into the shooting area, adjust the direc-
tion of the camera, and ensure the lens is aligned to the shooting range.
Push [Slide] key to “ON” mode, camera will display 15 seconds countdown and the red
light on front housing will flash. After 15 seconds, screen will turn black and camera
will enter into monitor mode. When moving animals or persons in field of vision are
detected, the camera will take photos or record videos automatically.
NOTICE:
The lens must face monitor area.
Battery life varies in dierent modes or environments.
3. USE THE CAMERA
This chapter will tell you how to use this camera to filming.
3.1 POWER ON, TEST AND POWER OFF THE CAMERA
• Power on
• Push [Slide] key to “TEST” mode, the screen is lighted up, means the camera is powe-
red on. All functions and parameters can be set now, for details please check chapter
4. If you are not familiar with this product, suggest you to use default setting.
• Modes switch on “TEST” mode
• When [Slide] key is on “TEST” mode, the camera can switch among each mode. The
operation method is as follows:
1. When [Slide] key is on “TEST” mode, camera will default on “Photo mode ”
2. Press [MODE] key, the camera can switch among ”Photo” mode, “Video” mode ,
and ”Playback” mode. And users will see the icon changing accordingly on top left
corner of the screen:
” ” Represent “Video” mode; ” ” Represent “Photo” mode; ” ” /” ” Re-
present “Playback” mode.
NOTICE:
Modes switch on “TEST ” mode means can only switch the preview mode, not the ca-
mera working mode.
If you want to change the camera’s working mode, users must do so under the settings
menu.

• Power o
When shutting down, you must operate in the following order:
When [Slide] key is “ON” mode, press [Slide] key to ”TEST” mode first, the camera
displays the starting screen and then enters into the photo preview. At this time,
press [Slide] key to ”OFF” mode, the camera will be powered o.
When [Slide] key is in the ”TEST” mode, move [Slide]key to ”OFF” mode, the camera
will be turned o.
After shutdown, please wait 3 seconds before powering on again.
NOTICE: If the camera is working when pushing [Slide] key, the camera will automati-
cally save the file.
3.2 PHOTO MODE INTERFACE
Press [Slide] key to ”TEST” mode, and default mode is ”Photo” mode. At this time, the
following icon will be displayed on the screen:

In photo mode, the [Slide] key is on “TEST” mode, press [Mode] key to switch to ” Video”
mode. The following icon will be displayed on the screen:

4. MENU SETTINGS
This chapter will help you to understand how to set and use various upper functions.
To set the camera’s parameters, users must push [Slide] key to “TEST” mode and keep
in photo or video mode. The parameters can only be set in this mode, and all settings in
chapter 4 must be done in this mode.
The menu operation is the same in photo mode and video mode. After all the settings are
completed, the [Slide] key must be pushed to ”ON” mode before the camera working ac-
cording to the parameters users set.
4.1 MODE
This function determines what kind of working mode the camera will work with in moni-
tor shooting status (the [Slide] key is on “ON” mode.).
1. In Photo/Video mode, press [MENU] key to shift to the “Setting” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Mode”, press [OK] key to enter into sub-menu
interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired value mode:
Photo/Video/Photo & Video;
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key
to back to main interface.
NOTICE: Selecting “Photo” mode: the camera will only take photos when pushing the
[Slide] key to “ON” mode.
Selecting “Video” mode: the camera will only record videos when pushing the [Slide]
key to “ON” mode.

Selecting “Photo & Video” mode: the camera will take photo first ,then record video
when pushing the [Slide] key to “ON” mode.
4.2 PIR INTERVAL
This function is to set the PIR interval time (That is after taking a photo or video, how
long to wait before starting detection), the camera is preset with a variety of interval time
modes, allowing the user to choose the best interval time.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “PIR Interval”, press [OK] key to enter into the
sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired value: 2sec
/5sec/10sec/15sec/30sec/1min/3min/5min/10min/15min/30min.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key
to back to main interface.
NOTICE: The PIR interval has a significant impact on battery life. The smaller the in-
terval number, the easier it is for the camera to capture the target, but it will use more
power. The larger the interval number, the more power the camera saves, but it will
tend to miss the target.
4.3 PIR SENSITIVITY
This functions is to set the sensitivity level of PIR sensor, users can choose the appro-
priate sensitivity according current environment.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “PIR Sensitivity”, press [OK] key to enter into
the sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired level: Low/
Middle/High.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key
to back to main interface.

NOTICE: The PIR sensitivity has a significant impact on battery life. The higher the sen-
sitivity level, the easier it is for the camera to capture the target, but it will use more
power. The lower the sensitivity level, the more power the camera saves, but it will
tend to miss the target.
4.4 CAPTURE SERIES
This function is to set the number of photos the camera will take at a time. It is only appli-
cable to photo mode, not to video mode.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Capture Series”, press [OK] key to enter into
the sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired value:
1/2/3.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.
4.5 VIDEO LENGTH
This function is to set the video length, It is only applicable to video mode, not to photo
mode.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Video Length”, press [OK] key to enter into the
sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired value: 5sec/
10sec/20sec/30sec/1min/2min/5min.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.

4.6 VIDEO RESOLUTION
This function is to set the video resolution, the higher the resolution, the better the video
quality, the more space it occupied. It is only applicable to video mode, not to photo mode.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Video Resolution”, press [OK] key to enter into
the sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired resolution:
1080P/720P/VGA.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.
4.7 PHOTO RESOLUTION
This function is to set the photo resolution. It is only applicable to photo mode, not to
video mode.
• Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
• Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Photo Resolution”, press [OK] key to enter into the
sub-menu interface;
• In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired resolution:
16M/12M/8M/5M/3M/2M.
• Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.

4.8 STAMP
This function is to set whether or not the stamp information would be displayed on
photo/video files, the stamp information includes: camera name, ambient temperature,
date/time, month image, etc. The operation method is as follows:
1. Press [MENU[ key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Stamp”, press [OK] key to enter into the sub-
menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select whether or not
display stamp information: ON/OFF.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.
4.9 DATE FORMAT
This function is to set the display format of the date on the camera’s screen and photo
and video file.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Date Format”, press [OK] key to enter into the
sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired format:
YYYY-MM-DD/MM-DD-YYYY/DD-MM-YYYY.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.

4.10 TEMPERATURE UNIT
This function is to set the temperature unit, “0F”on behalf of Fahrenheit, ”0C” on behalf of
the Celsius temperature.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Temperature Unit”, press [OK] key to enter
into the sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired unit:0C/0F.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.
4.11 IR BRIGHTNESS
This function is to set the emission brightness of the infrared lamp, the user can choose
the appropriate luminance option according to the operating environment.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “IR Brightness”, press [OK] key to enter into the
sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired brightness:
Low/Middle/High.
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.

NOTICE: The IR brightness has a significant impact on battery life and night vision of
the camera. While choosing high brightness, more power is consumed, but night vision
eect is clearer. While choosing low brightness, the night vision eect is poorer, but
more power is save.
4.12 LANGUAGE
This function is to set the display and operation language of the camera, please select
according to the usage habit.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “Language”, press [OK] key to enter into the
sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select desired language:
English/Finnish/Norwegian/German/Swedish;
4. Press [OK] key to confirm saved and back to ”Settings” menu, press [MENU] key to
back to main interface.
4.13 SYSTEM TIME
This function is to set the camera’s system time and date.
1. Press [MENU] key to shift to the “Settings” menu;
2. Press [UP] or [DOWN] key to select “System Time”, press [OK] key to enter into the
sub-menu interface;
3. In the sub-menu interface, the user sets the current date and time according to
the actual situation. The operation method is: press [UP] or [DOWN] key for spe-
cific settings, and press [OK] key to switch among year/month/day/hour/minute/
second.
