1. Intro
The SafeHome M-series comes with two types of software:
1. Network Software – H&M Series Intranet Search and Settings. This is software for
registering and setup on your local network.
2. Camera software (firmware). This is the camera’s builtin program for setup of alarm,
email, remote access etc.
The PC software - IPC Monitor - can be downloaded from the SafeHome webpage. This
can be used for continiuosly surveillance thru PC and for playback of recordings.

2. Hardware installation and configuration
Installing the network software.
Install the network software on a computer
on the network, in order to make the camera
connect. Note that camera and computer
must be on the same network. This means,
that users with e.g. two routers/accesspoint
on their network, must be certain that the
network configuration establishes one united
network and not several subnets.
1. Insert the CDROM in the disc drive and install the program HMSearch_en.exe. Copy
the program to your desktop for easy access later.
2. The software can be downloaded from the SafeHome webpage in case your computer
does not have a disc drive. If the camera is mounted outside, it should be mounted on
a fixed surface under eaves and in a directional angle preventing direct sun in the lens.
Preparing the camera
1. Connect the camera to the router or a switch by use of the network cable. Make sure,
that the router port used, is intended for Internet connection and not phone, TV or the
like.
2. Connect the poweradapter to the camera and a 220V powerplug. (Use of other power-
adapters than the supplied, can seriously damage the camera).
3. The camera will be registered by the network software after a startup sequence of app.
30-45 seconds.
3. Network Setup
Local network connection (LAN)
1. Launch the network software
HMSearch. Select the computer’s
network adapter for cable or WIFI
connection in the dropdown menu
Network Adapter. Avoid Bluetooth
units or 3G/4G modems. Click
Search(1) and select your camera in
the Device List (2).
2. Adjust the camera’s IP adress. The
address in box (3) must resemble
box (4) except for the last number,
which the user can choose freely
between 1-254.
The content of box (5) must be
identical with the content of box (6).
If you are uncertain of what to do
and which IP addresses to fill out, simply mark the checkbox Set IP automatically (7),
which will make the router assign suited IP addresses.
3. Input username admin and password 123456 followed by Update. NB: For security
reasons, it is highly recommended to change the default password later.
4. The camera will now restart for approx. 30 seconds. After the restart click Search (1),
select the camera in Device List (2) and press Browse (8). This will open the camera
login window. Use Internet Explorer for the first login if possible.
5. For most users, it is necessary to install ActiveX upon first usage in order to obtain
the best possible videoquality. Click Download
ActiveX (9), followed by Run in the installation
window which will install ActiveX. Close the
browser and press Next (10) in the ActiveX in-
stallation window. This must be done whenever
the camera is assigned a new IP address.
Adjusting Internet Explorer®
For some user, it is necessary to activate Com-
patibility View Setting in Internet Explorer® and
add the IP address of the camera as a Trusted
Website. This must be done whenever the camera is assigned a new IP address. The
procedure is as follows:
Select Compatibility View Setting in
the settings of Internet Explorer® 
Input the IP address of the camera,
and click Add. Close the window to
complete.
Open Internet Explorer’s set-
tings again and select Internet
Options. Select the large green
tickmark Trusted Sites (1) and
click on Sites. Remove the
tickmark (3), input the camera’s
IP address and finalize by click
on Close.
Now close Internet Explorer and
log on to the camera.

Activating Wireless Connection (WIFI)
Once the local network has been successfully connected, the camera can be accessed
by entering the IP address of the camera, or by selecting the IP address in the HMSearch
software and pressing Browse. Live video is accessed from the menu Video View found
on the login interface and the camera settings are found thru the setup menu.
From the menu, select Network > Wifi.
1. Tick the checkbox On next to Enable Wireless (1)
2. Click Scan to display the available WIFI networks.
3. Select the preferred WIFI network (2). Security/encryption settings will be filled out
automatically Enter the WIFI key in the text box Key and Re-Type Key (3)
4. Click Check (4) and wait approx. 30 sec. while the settings are verified.
5. If WIFI is connected the message Connect the WIFI Success will display. Click OK
followed by Apply (5). If the message is not displayed, the WIFI network is unavailable
or the key was administered incorrectly. Check the parameters and restart the WIFI
procedure.
Activating Internet Access – remote access (WAN)
Remote access is used whenever users wish to access their cameras from a computer
away from home. This can e.g. be while at work, vacation and visiting friends.
For remote access setup select Network > Remote Access.
Remote access can be obtained in three different ways. For all three ways, it is necessary
to open the assigned network port in the router. Either manually by port forwarding or by
use of UPnP (explained later in this chapter).
1. On the camera a label with the camera’s remote internet access address is found.
This address is also found in the camera menu Manufacturers Domain (1). When
the checkbox ON is ticked, the camera can be accessed from remote locations by
launching an internet browser and inputting the address followed by colon (:) and the
portnumber set as Http Port in HMSearch. E.g. the address could be http://001ldlo.
nwsrv1.com:80.
2. The second – and recommended - way is to use a static/fixed IP address if your
Internet supplier has assigned such to your router. If so; the checkbox should be tick
in OFF and the camera’s Internet address will e.g. be http://15.13.780.23:80. Note that
it is not the camera address from HMSearch but the router’s Internet address, which
must be used. Contact your Internet supplier who can inform you whether or not you
have a fixed/static IP address. Your IP address is found by clicking Internet IP Ad-
dress.
3. The third way to acquire remote access is by using a 3. Party DDNS. If such is avail-
able, the Manufacturer’s DDNS checkbox should be set in OFF position (1), the Third
Party DDNS checkbox should be in the OFF position (2) and the third party DDNS
provider’s parameters should be filled in.
In order to aquire remote access by use of one of the three ways explained above, the
network router has to be enabled to
allow the connection.
The SafeHome Internet Surveillance
Cameras have a built-in feature called
UPnP, which automatically communi-
cates with the router in order to enable
the Internet connection. For all three
ways of remote access, the checkbox
UPnP Port Forwarding (3) should be
ticked. Alternatively, the user must es-
tablish a port forwarding in the router
from the selected port to the camera
IP address.
Save by tap at Apply (4).
Check the router settings to verify that
UPnP is enabled in the router also in case the connection from the Internet cannot be
established. If both camera and router have UPnP enabled, contact your Internet supplier
to verify that the assigned port is allowed used for IP cameras or if it should be changed
in the menu Network > Network > HTTP port.

4. User Interface
Select Video View from the camera’s login window to access the user interface. The
camera lens on some models can be adjusted by gently turning to sharpen focus, in case
the picture appears blurry. (only some indoor models).
1. Statusbar
A. Connection status.
B. Zoom in, zoom out, reset digital zoom.
C. Select destination folder for storage of snapshots and video.
D. Microphone. Click here to activate the computer microphone (if available). Click
again to deactivate.
E. Audio. Click here to activate the cameras microphone (if available). Click again to
deactivate.
2. Videostream
3. The videoquality is set in the modification settings in the camera menu Media > Video.
Moreover, the user can choose between multicamera display of 1, 4 and 9 frames.
(Only used when several cameras are connected).
4. Pan/Tilt/Zoo
Pan/Tilt models can be navigated from here. Furthermore, predefined positions of Pan/
Tilt models can be set here and navigated thru. Turn the camera to a desired preset
position, set the presetnumber at SET 2-8. The set position can now be accessed
by pressing CALL 2-8. Position 1 is automatically startposition for the camera upon
reboot.
5. Photo / Video / microSD / Playback
• Click the camera icon to take a snapshot.
• Click the movie icon to record a videosequence.
• Click the microSD icon to browse the les stored on the microSD card, if the camera
is equipped with such.
• Click the Play icon to access the recorded video sequences.
6. System Set accesses the camera menu.
7. Home Page accesses the camera login vindue.
5. Camera Settings (System Set)
Media
Video
System set of three quality levels. The resolution of the three levels are fixed, however
bit-/ and frame rate can be adjusted to establish the best possible quality for the camera.
• If the camera has lines/pixelerrors, try adjustning the Power Line Frequency from 50 >
60Hz.
• A heightened bitrate provides at clearer picture - but occupies more bandwidth.
• A heightened fps provides more uent motion - but occupies more bandwidth.
• In the bottom of the menu, display of date/time/name can be set and cameraname can
be adjusted.
• JPEG Stream is used for streaming on some non-windows platforms. Examine the
quality by clicking Mobile View in the login window.
Audio
Indoor models have builtin microphone and support G.711 and G.726 audio quality.
Activate Audio Capture if sound should be recorded on the video sequences. G.711 is
better sound quality than G.726 but occupies more bandwidth. Outdoor models do not
have builtin microphone.
Image
Adjust the picture’s brightness,
saturation and contrast.
Moreover, the camera’s IR
night lights can be set to
automatic activation in dark
surroundings (Auto) or the
light can be set as always off
(Close).
In Night Mode the camera fps
will be decreased automati-
cally during night recordings to
increase the videoquality.

Network
Configuration of network can be selected as:
• Fixed IP Address. The camera address should be set manually.
• Dynamic IP Address. The network router will assign the camera an IP address.
Port Settings (HTTP) sets the network port, which will be used upon remote accessing
the camera. If the users fails to gain access to the camera, the Internet supplier’s custom-
ers service or the customer service of the router manufacturer should be contacted for
instruction on opening the network port.
Port Setting (RTSP) is used for connecting the camera thru an RTSP protocol (Real Time
Streaming Protocol) in cases streaming thru such services is desired.

Remote Access

Onvif Settings
The SafeHome M-Serie supports the ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) com-
munication protocol for pairing with other similar ONVIF surveillance devices.
Alarm
Alarm in
This menu is not used by the
SafeHome M-Series. Therefore,
do not tick this checkbox.
Motion Detection
By ticking the checkboxes
Window (1-4), selection
windows are displayed and
can individually be adjusted in
size and sensitivity level. Once
the preferred sensitivity level
is set, click Apply (5) to save.
The camera will now activate
the alarm whenever required
motion in the surveyed area is
registered.
Sound Alarm
The SafeHome M-series can be activated by sound (only indoor
models with microphone). To activate this feature, set Sound
Alarm to On and input the desired sensitivity 1-100.
Alarm
Select which actions the camera should perform upon motion/sound detection.
(1) Tick for storage of picture/video on the
microSD card if available.
(2) Tick for storage of picture/video on FTP
server if available.
(3) For external alarmunits. Not possible on
the SafeHome M-Series. Do not tick.
(4) Activates the email notifications with pic-
ture emails upon motion detection.
(5) For external alarmunits. Not possible on
the SafeHome M-Series. Do not tick.
Always remember to click Apply to save set-
tings
Schedule
Schedule enables the builtin scheduler for automatic activation of surveillance during
defined periods. Click Apply to save settings.
Advanced
User
Three user account with differentiated permission levels can be set and modified here.
For security purposes, it is strongly advised, to always change the passwords of all three
levels upon first login as administrator.
Administrator: Admin - highest authority, and able to modify all settings. The default
password is 123456.
User: User - permitted to operate the camera, but can modify no settings. The
default password is user.
Guest: Guest - only possible to view live video. No changes or operations can be
made. The default password is guest.

Auto Capture Setting
The SafeHome M-series can be set to automatic photos at predefined periods. Tick in (1)
to save the pictures on the microSD card if available and tick (2) to save the pictures on
an FTP account if available. For both selections, the time interval between each picture
can be set.
The scheduler is used for planning the periods during which, the photographing should
be active.
Click Apply to save settings.
Record to TF/SD
This menu is used on SafeHome M-serie cameras with microSD card. When the feature is
activated by marking ON (1), the camera will automatically – during the periods selected
in the scheduler – record videosequences of lenght set in (2) and quality selected in (3).
Click Apply to save settings.
Email
If email alarm has been enabled in the Alarm menu, the email settings should be set.
(1) SMTP Server name: Fill out the details of the mailserver used as emailservice for
sending the email from the camera to the receivers. Consult your internet supplier’s
webpage for details hereof or contact their customer support.
(2) Server Port: Fill out the portnumber used by your internet supplier’s mail server.
Consult your internet supplier’s webpage for details hereof or contact their customer
support.
(3) Authentication: Tick the checkbox if the mailserver requires username/password in
order to use the mail service. Consult your email supplier’s webpage for details hereof
or contact their customer support.
Input the mailserver username in the textbox User Name and the password in the
textbox Password.
(4) Send to: Fill out the email addresses of the receivers of email notifications upon mo-
tion detection.
(5) Sender: Fill in the email address, which will be used as sender of the email.
(6) Subject: Input the email subject for all alarm emails.
(7) Message: Input the email message for all alarm emails.
Click Apply and then Test. A test window will display Success and the receivers will
receive a test email if settings are filled out correctly.
Note that many spamfilters and mailservers will delete the mails if sender and receiver
are identical. If mails are not received, it is recommended to change the email address of
either Send To or Sender.
(Actual settings for Gmail is shown in the example.)

FTP
An FTP server is typically found as feature of a network harddisk (NAS) and access to
data storage on external FTP servers can be purchases from many service providers.
Pictures storage upon motion detection can be selected in the Alarm menu and in the
Advance section of the Auto Capture menu.
The address of the FTP server is filled out as follows:
(1) Server Address: The IP address of the FTP server.
(2) Server port: The FTP port used by the server. (Typi-
cally set to 21).
(3) User name: Login username for the FTP server.
(4) Password: Login password for the FTP server.
(5) Path: Destinationfolder on the FTP server.
(6) Passive mode: Set as On or OFF depending on the
settings on the FTP server.
Fill out the 6 textboxes with information provided by
your FTP service supplier. Click Apply to save and
Test to test the settings.
If settings are set correctly and the FTP server is available, the message Test…Success
will be displayed.
Multiple Settings
Additional cameras can be
added here to enable multi device
streaming as mention in the User
Interface chapter. Click e.g. The
2nd device, fill out the param-
eters for camera #2 and click Add
followed by Submit.
If the cameras from a different
network are added, the remote
access addresses should be
used. Use the routers statis/fixed
IP address or the remote access
DDNS address found on the
camera followed by the assigned port.
PTZ Settings
The settins for pan/tilt camera scan be adjusted from here. The motionspeed can be
modified and users can select if they wish the camera to remain in centerposition after
reboot.
System
Device Information
The menu provided a quick overview of the camera’s current settings – such as name,
connectiontype, network address, statis and availability of microSD card.
Time Settings
Menu for setting time/date and daylight savings.
Initialize
From the software the following maintenance features can be activated:
(1) Reboot Camera: Restarts the
camera.
(2) Restore Factory Default: Resets all
camera settings to default.
(3) Backup Settings Data: Save a copy
of the current camera settings, so
these can easily be restored at a
later time. Save the backup file on
your computer.
(4) Restore Settings Data: Menu to access the backupfile and restore the camera to the
saved settings.
(5) Firmware Upgrade: When SafeHome releases an update for the camera firmware, it is
available for download from the SafeHome webpage, and can be saved on the user’s
harddisk. When the user wishes to update the camera, the menu Firmware Upgrade is
selected and the software must be found and selected from the browsersystem auto-
matically opened. When the user clicks the Confirm button, update is installed.
System log
A summary of the camera events.
APP
For access and live video streaming by use of a SmartPhone/tablet, the SafeHomes APP
for SmartP2P cameras (L-Serie og M-Serie) can be used.
Download the APP SafeHome SmartP2P from AppStore® or Google Play® and install it
on your device. IPad users can install the iPhone APP.
Select Add Camera and click Scan QRCode or LAN Search, if the APP should search
your network for available and compatible cameras. If Scan QRCode is selected, the de-
vice’s camera will open. Scan the QR code from the label found on the camera and enter
the camera username and password.
The APP can be used for adjusting brightness/contrast/resolution, record video and tak-
ing snapshots. In the Advanced Setting section e.g. email-/user-/alarmsettings can be
modified in the same ways as if modified thru the camera firmware.

registrere og opsætte kameraerne på netværket. (Kan også hentes fra SAFEHOME
hjemmesiden.
2. Kamerasoftware (firmware). Kameraets indbyggede program til opsætning af alarm,
mail, fjernadgang osv.
Derudover kan software IPC Monitor til PC hentes fra vores hjemmeside. Denne kan
benyttes til fast overvågning via PC samt afspilning af video optagelser.

2. Hardware installation og konfiguration
Installation af netværkssoftware
Den medfølgende software skal installeres
på en computer i netværket, for at kameraet
kan installeres korrekt. Vær opmærksom på
at kamera og computer skal være på samme
netværk. Dvs. har man to routere eller en
router og en accesspoint, skal man være op-
mærksom på at disse enheder skal udgøre
ét netværk og ikke flere sub-net.
1. Sæt den medfølgende CDROM i CD drevet og installer programmet HMSearch_
en.exe. Kopier evt. programmet til Skrivebordet eller lign. for nem adgang på et senere
tidspunkt.
2. Hvis ikke computeren har et drev, kan softwaren hentes fra SafeHomes hjemmeside.
Hvis kameraets er til udendørs brug, monteres kameraet under et udhæng samt i en
vinkel, så direkte sollys i linsen undgås.
Klargør kameraet
1. Forbind kameraet til router/switch med netværkskablet. Kontroller at routerens port er
beregnet til Internet og ikke telefoni, TV eller andet.
2. Sæt strømforsyning til kameraet og tilslut stikkontakt. (Benyt kun den medfølgende
strømforsyning, da andre kan skade kameraet.)
3. Kameraet bruger ca. 30 sekunder på at starte, før det registreres af netværkssoft-
waren.
3. Opsætning på Netværk
Tilkobling på netværk (LAN)
1. Åben netværkssoftwaren HM-
Search, klik på Search(1) og marker
dit kamera i Device List (2).
2. Korriger herefter kameraets IP
adresse. Indholdet i boks (3) skal
være identisk med boks (4) med
-undtagelse af sidste tal, der frit
kan angives mellem 1 og 254.
Indholdet i boks (5) skal være
identisk med boks (6). Alternativt
kan der sættes flueben i checkbok-
sen (7) hvorefter router vil tildele IP
adresse automatisk.
3. Tast herefter brugernavn admin
og password 123456 efterfulgt af
Update.
4. Kameraet genstarter og efter ca. 30
sekunder trykkes igen på Search (1),
kameraet i Device List (2) markeres og
der trykkes på Browse (8), hvorefter din
browser vil åbne kameraets loginvindue.
Benyt Internet Explorer til første login
hvis muligt.
5. Det er nødvendigt for de fleste brugere
at installere ActiveX ved første ibrug-
tagning. Klik Download ActiveX (9), tryk
herefter Run i installationsvinduet og
installer herefter ActiveX. Afhængig af
computer, skal browseren lukkes før der
trykkes Next (10) i ActiveX installationen.
Dette skal gøre hver gang kameraerne
tildeles en ny IP adresse.
Tilpasning af Internet Explorer®
Det kan være nødvendigt, at aktivere Kompatibilitetsvisning i Internet Explorer® samt at
tilføje kameraets IP adresse som et Sikkert Websted for at få video vist korrekt. Dette skal
gøres hver gang kameraerne tildeles en ny IP adresse på følgende måde:

Tilkobling på trådløst netværk (WIFI)
Når opsætning til LAN er fuldført korrekt, kan kameraet tilgås via kameraets adresse eller
ved at klikke på Browse knappen i HMSearch softwaren. Live video fra kameraet tilgås
via menupunktet Video View på login skærmen, og trykkes på Setup dirigeres brugeren til
kameraets firmware, hvorfra indstillinger foretages.
For opkobling til trådløs forbindelse (WIFI) vælges Network > Wifi.
1. Marker feltet On ved Enable Wireless (1)
2. Tryk Search hvorved de tilgængelige WIFI netværk vises.
3. Klik på OK ud for det ønskede WIFI netværk (2). Sikkerhedsindstillingerne tilpasses
automatisk.
4. Angiv koden for WIFI på netværket i både feltet Key og Re-Type Key (3)
5. Tryk på Check (4) og vent ca. 30 sekunder mens indstillingerne kontrolleres i et lille
vindue.
6. Såfremt der meldes Connect the WIFI Success klikkes på OK og herefter på
Apply (5) WIFI menuen. Hvis ikke Success meddelelsen modtages, er netværket ikke
tilgængeligt eller adgangskoden er angivet forkert – kontroller indstillingerne og start
forfra.
Tilkobling til netværk – fjernadgang (WAN)
Fjernadgang dækker over en situation, hvor brugere ønsker, at kunne tilgå sit kamera fra
en vilkårlig computer væk fra lokalnetværket. Det kan eksempelvis være fra arbejde, på
ferie, hos venner osv.
For opkobling til fjernadgang vælges Network > Remote Access.
Der er tre måder hvorpå fjernadgang kan opnås. Fælles for dem alle er, at der skal være
åbnet for trafik igennem den angivne netværks port i routeren. Dette kan gøres manuelt
med en port forwarding eller via UPnP (gennemgået senere i dette kapitel).
1. På kameraet sidder en label med angivelse af dit kameras adresse på internettet.
Denne adresse er angivet i kameraet i menufeltet Manufacturers Domain (1). Såfremt
der er markeret ON i feltet over Manufacturers Domain. Adgang til kameraet kan
dermed opnås ved angivelse af adressen samt kolon (:) efterfult af portnummeret angi-
vet som http port i HMSearch.
Eksempelvis kunne adressen være: http://001ldlo.nwsrv1.com:80.
2. Den anden metode – og den anbefalede metode - kan benyttes såfremt man har fast
IP adresse fra sin Internet udbyder. I så tilfælde skal felt (1) stå i OFF position, og
kameraets adresse på internettet bliver eksempelvis http://15.13.780.23:80. Vær her
opmærksom på, at det ikke er kameraets IP adresse fra HMSearch, men din routers IP
adresse, der skal benyttes. Kontakt evt. din Internet leverandør for at få oplyst hvorvidt
du har fast IP adresse. Din IP adresse findes ved at klikke på Internet IP Address.
3. Tredje mulighed for fjernadgang er at benytte en 3. parts udbyder af DDNS. Såfremt
du har en sådan tilgængelig skal felt (1) stå i OFF position, felt (2) stå i ON position og
oplysningerne fra DDNS leverandøren skal indtastes.
For at fjernadgang kan opnås via de
ovenstående metoder, skal netværkets
router tillade dette. SafeHome Internet
kameraer har indbygget funktionen
kaldet UPnP, som automatisk kommu-
nikerer med routeren for, at etablere
forbindelse til internettet. Marker derfor
for alle tre tilfælde feltet UPnP Port
Forwarding (3).
Indstillingerne gennem ved tryk på
Apply (4).
Alternativt skal der etableres en Port
Forwarding i routeren fra kameraets egen IP adresse til den angivne port.
Såfremt forbindelse ikke kan opnås fra Internettet, kontrolleres der i routeren, at UPnP er
aktiveret – også i router - eller at port forwardingen er udført korrekt. Hvis begge dele står
korrekt i routeren, kontakt da din Internetudbyder for at tilsikre, at den valgte port kan
benyttes, eller om du skal skifte den i menupunktet Network > Network > HTTP port.

4. Brugergrænseflade
Vælges Video View i kameraets login vindue vil kameraets brugergrænseflade blive
tilgået. Såfremt billedet synes sløret, kan linsen på visse modellen drejes, hvorved
skarphed kan justeres.

A. Forbindelsesstatus.
B. Zoom ind, zoom ud, nulstil digital zoom.
C. Vælg mappe til lagring af billeder og video.
D. Mikrofon. Tryk på denne aktiverer computerens mikrofon. Tryk igen for at slukke.
E. Audio. Aktiverer kameraets mikrofon (indendørs). Tryk igen for at slukke.
2. Videostream
Kvaliteten for visning vælges ud fra kvalitetsindstillinger angivet i kameraets menupunkt
Media > Video. Der kan derudover vælges 1-, 4-, eller 9-rude visning af flere kameraer.
3. Pan/Tilt/Zoom
På drejbare kameraer kan kameraet her panoreres samt forudindstillede positioner ind-
stilles og nås. Panorer kameraets til den ønskede start position og tryk på SET. Naviger
til andre positioner og indstil Preset 2-8. Den ønskede position tilgås efterfølgende ved
tryk på CALL og position 1 tilgås automatisk ved genstart af kamera.
4. Foto / Video / microSD / Afspilning
A. Klik på kamera ikon for at tage billede.
B. Klik på filmstrimmel ikon for at optage videosekvens.
C. Klik på microSD ikonet for at browse filer på microSD kort, hvis et sådant er sat i
kameraet.
D. Klik på Play ikonet for at navigere til de optagede video sekvenser og afspille disse.
5. System Set tilgår kameraets menu.
6. Home Page tilgår kameraets login vindue.
5. Kameraets indstillinger (System Set)
Media
Video
Indstilling af kameraets 3 kvalitetsniveauer. Opløsningen på de tre niveauer er fastind-
stillet, men bitrate og frame rate kan justeres for at opnå det bedst mulige billede for
pågældende kamera.
• Hvis billedet har streger/forstyrrelser bør Power Line Frequency skiftes fra eksempelvis
50>60Hz.
• Højere bitrate giver mere rent billede, men optager mere netværkskapacitet.
• Højere fps giver mere ydende bevægelser, men optager mere netværkskapacitet.
• Nederst i menuen kan visning af dato/tid/kameranavn vælges og kameranavn kan
ændres.
• JPEG Stream benyttes til visning af nogle ikke-windows platforme. Se kvaliteten ved at
trykke på Mobile View i loginvinduet.
Audio
Indendørs modeller har indbygget mikrofon og understøtter G.711 og G.726 lydkvalitet.
Aktiver Audio Capture såfremt der ønskes lyd på video optagelserne. G.711 er bedre
kvalitet end G.726, men optager mere netværkskapacitet. Udendørs modeller har ikke
indbygget mikrofon.
Image
Juster billedets lysniveau,
farvemætning og kontrast.
Derudover kan der vælges om
kameraets natlys IR (infra rød)
skal tænde automatisk eller
være slukket konstant.
Vælges Night Mode, vil
kameraets fps blive nedjust-
eret under natoptagelser for

Network
Network
Konfigurationstype kan vælges mellem:
• Fixed IP Address. Kameraets adresse indstilles manuelt.
• Dynamic IP Address. Routeren tildeler kameraet en IP adresse.
Port Settings (HTTP) angiver porten der skal benyttes ved fjernadgang til kameraet.
Såfremt der ikke er forbindelse fra Internettet til kameraet, kontaktes Internet udbyderens
kundeservice, for at få oplyst hvilken port, der er klargjort og kan benyttes til fjernadgang.
Port Setting (RTSP) benyttes til opkobling til kameraet via en RTSP protokol (Real Time
Streaming Protocol) såfremt der ønskes tilgang via andre services

Apply for at gemme indstillingerne.
Advanced
User
Her kan tre brugerkonti med differentierede tilladelser til betjening af kameraet angives og
passwords ændres. Skift altid password på alle tre niveauer ved første login.
Administrator: Admin har den højeste autoritet og kan foretage samtlige rettelser i
kameraet. Det fabriksindstillede kodeord er 123456.
User: User kan kun betjene kameraet, men kan ikke skifte indstillinger.
Det fabriksindstillede kodeord er user.
Guest: Guest kan kun se video, men kan ikke betjene eller skifte indstillinger.
Det fabriksindstillede kodeord er guest.

Auto Capture Setting
SafeHome M-serie kan indstilles til at tage billeder automatisk på forudindstillede tider.
Markering i (1) lagrer billederne på microSD hvis tilgængeligt og markering i (2) lagrer
billederne på en FTP konto hvis tilgængelig. På begge lagringsmetoder kan interval for
fototagning angives.
Skemaet benyttes til automatisk styring af, hvilke tidspunkter overvågningen skal være
aktiv. Klik på Apply for at gemme indstillingerne.
Record to TF/SD
Denne menu benyttes til de SafeHome M-serie kameraer, hvori der er mulighed for at
isætte et microSD hukommelses kort. Aktiveres funktionen i ON (1) vil kameraet automa-
tisk - på de valgte tidspunkter i skemaet – optage videosekvenser af den i (2) angivne
varighed.
Kvaliteten af videoen kan vælges ml. Stream1, Stream2 og Stream3 (3). Se kap. 2. Klik
Apply for at gemme indstillingerne.
Email
Såfremt E-mail Alarm er blevet aktiveret i menupunkt Alarm, skal e-mail indstillingerne
indtastes i denne menu.
(1) SMTP Server name: Dette er adressen på den mailserver, der videresender mailen
fra kameraet til modtagerne. Kontroller din mailudbyders hjemmeside, for at få oplyst
denne eller kontakt deres kundeservice.
(2) Server Port: Dette er porten på den mailserver du benytter samt behov for SSL.
Kontroller din mailudbyders hjemmeside, for at få oplyst disse parametre eller kontakt
deres kundeservice.
(3) Authentication: Her angives om mailserveren kræver brugernavn og password for at
benytte deres service. Kontroller din mailudbyders hjemmeside, for at få oplyst dette
eller kontakt deres kundeservice. Angiv mailserverens brugernavn i User Name og
kodeordet under Password.
(4) Send to: Her angives hvilke email modtagere, der skal modtage email alarm.
(5) Sender: Her angives hvilken email adresse, der skal stå som afsender af mailen.
(6) Subject: Her vælges, hvad der skal stå i email emnefeltet på email alarm.
(7) Message: Her skrives en kort tekst til email alarm.
Klik herefter på Apply og efterfølgende Test. Et testvindue skal herefter meddele Success
og din modtager email vil have modtaget en test mail.
Vær opmærksom på at mange spamfiltre og mailservere, vil slette din mail, hvis afsender
og modtager er identiske. Såfremt mails ikke modtages, anbefales det, at angive forskel-
lige mail adresser i Send To og Sender.
De faktiske indstillinger for Gmail er vist nedenfor.

FTP
En FTP server findes typisk på en netværksharddisk (NAS), men adgang til lagring af data
på eksterne FTP adresser kan købes hos flere udbydere.
I menuen Alarm i sektionen Alarm samt i menuen Auto Capture i sektionen Advanced kan
der aktiveres at billeder skal lagres på en FTP server.
Adressen til FTP serveren skal udfyldes som følger:
(1) Server Address: FTP serverens IP adresse.
(2) Server port: FTP serverens port. (Typisk er dette 21)
(3) User name: Login navnet til FTP serveren.
(4) Password: Login password til FTP serveren.
(5) Path: Angivelse af mappen på FTP serveren hvorpå
billeder skal lagres.
(6) Passive mode: Angives som On eller OFF afhæn-
gigt af FTP serverens indstillinger.
Udfyld de 6 felter jf. oplysningerne fra din FTP server.
Tryk herefter Apply og efterfølgende Test.
Såfremt indstillingerne er korrekte og FTP serveren er tilgængelig, modtages meldingen
Test…Success.
Multiple Settings
Såfremt der ønskes streaming fra
flere kameraer jf. kap. Bruger-
grænseflade, skal de yderligere
kameraer tilføjes her. Tryk
eksempelvis på The 2nd device,
udfyld parametrene på kamera
#2 og tryk på Add efterfulgt af
Submit.
Såfremt kameraerne fra et andet
netværk ønskes tilgået, skal kam-
eraets eksterne adresse benyttes.
Der kan derfor indskrives DDNS
adressen til fjernadgang, der
findes under kameraet.
PTZ Settings
Drej-/ og vipbare modellers indstillinger ændres her. Hastigheden på bevægelserne kan
justeres og der kan angives hvorvidt kameraet kan forblive centreret ved selv-kontrol.
System
Device Information
Menuen indeholder et overblik over kameraets aktuelle indstillinger. Herunder navn,
forbindelsestype, netværksadresse, samt status på evt. hukommelseskort.
Time Settings
Menu til justering af tidsindstillingerne. Aktiver også automatisk skift til sommer-/vintertid.
Initialize
Her kan der fra softwaren vælges følgende:
(1) Reboot Camera: Genstarter
kamera.
(2) Restore Factory Default: Nulstiller
kameraets indstillinger til fabriks-
indstillingerne.
(3) Backup Settings Data: Gem en
kopi af alle indstillinger, så de nemt
kan genskabes, hvis ændringer
senere ikke ønskes. Der gemmes
en backup fil på computeren.
(4) Restore Settings Data: Her genskabes kameraets tilstand ud fra backup filen.
(5) Firmware Upgrade: Når SafeHome udgiver opdatering til kameraet, hentes den fra
SafeHomes hjemmeside og gemmes på computeren. Når opdatering skal foretages,
vælges menuen Firmware Upgrade og der navigeres hen til den downloadede fil, der
vælges. Herefter trykkes der på Confirm og opdateringen installeres.
System log
Oversigt over hvilke brugerprofiler, der har været aktive på kameraet på et givent tids-
punkt.
APP
Ønskes kameraet betjent via en SmartPhone/tablet kan dette gøres via brug af Safe-
Homes APP til SmartP2P kameraer (L-Serie og M-Serie).
Download APP’en SafeHome SmartP2P fra AppStore® eller Google Play® og installer
den på din enhed. For iPad brugere installeres iPhone APP’en.
Vælg Add Camera og klik på Scan QRCode eller vælg LAN Search, hvis du ønsker, at
APP’en søger på netværket efter kameraer. Scan herefter kameraets brugernavn/kode.
Alternativt klikkes på Done.
Herefter kan APP’en benyttes til at justere lysniveau/kontrast/opløsning, optage video
og tage billeder. Under Advanced Settings kan mail, brugere, alarm og mere indstilles på
samme måde som i kameraets software.

1. Förord
SafeHomes M-serie levereras med två olika typer av programvara:
1. Nätverksprogram – H&M Series Intranet Search and Settings. Program för att registrera
och installera kamerorna i nätverket. (Kan även hämtas från SAFEHOMEs webbplats.)
2. Kameraprogram (inbyggt). Kamerans inbyggda program för inställning av larm, mejl,
fjärranslutning osv.
Dessutom kan programmet IPC Monitor för PC hämtas från vår webbplats. Detta kan
användas för övervakning via PC samt uppspelning av inspelade videoklipp.
