• Aftercompleting the installation, always carryout a
functional test and provide the instructions on howto
operatethe airconditionerto the user.
• Do not use the airconditionerin environments with
hazardous substances orclose to equipment that release
freeflames to avoid the occurrence of fires, explosions or
injuries.
• Do not install the product in a place where thermohygrostat
is needed (such as serverroom, machineryroom, computer
room, etc.) Those places do not provide guaranteed
operation condition ofthe product therefore performance
can be poorin these places.
• Do not install the product in a ship ora vehicle (such as a
campervan). Salt,vibration orotherenvironmental factor
maycause the product malfunction, electric shock orfire.
• Ourunits should be installed in compliancewith the spaces
shown in the installation manual,to ensure accessibility
from both sides and allowrepairs ormaintenance
operations to be carried out. The unit’s components should
be accessible and easyto disassemblewithout endangering
people and objects.
Forthis reason,when provisions of the installation manual
are not compliedwith, the cost required to access and repair
the units (in SAFETY CONDITIONS, as set out in prevailing
regulations)with harnesses, ladders, scaffolding orany
otherelevation systemwill NOTbe considered part of the
warrantyand will be chargedto the end customer.
Powersupplyline,fuseorcircuit

WARNING
• Always make sure that the powersupplyis compliant with
current safetystandards. Always install the airconditionerin
compliancewith current local safetystandards.
• Always verify that a suitable grounding connection is
available.
• Verifythat the voltage and frequency of the powersupply
complywith the specifications and that the installed power
is sufficient to ensure the operation of anyotherdomestic
appliance connected tothe same electric lines.
• Alwaysverifythat the cut-off and protection switches are
suitablydimensioned.
• Verifythat the airconditioneris connected tothe power
supplyin accordance with the instructions provided in the
wiring diagram included in the manual.
• Alwaysverifythat electric connections (cable entry, section
of leads, protections…) are compliant withthe electric
specifications andwith the instructions provided in the
wiring scheme.Alwaysverifythat all connections comply
with the standards applicable tothe installation of air
conditioners.
• Devices disconnected from the powersupply should be
completely disconnected in the condition of overvoltage
category.
• Be sure notto perform powercable modification, extension
wiring, and multiplewire connection.
– It maycause electric shock orfire due to poorconnection,
poorinsulation, orcurrent limit override.
– When extensionwiring is required due to powerline
damage, referto "Step13 Optional: Extendingthepower
cable" in the installation manual.
CAUTION
Makesurethatyou earththe cables.
• Do not connect the earthwire to the gas pipe,waterpipe,
lighting rod ortelephonewire. If earthing is not complete,
electric shock orfire mayoccur.
Installthe circuitbreaker.
• If the circuit breakeris not installed, electric shock orfire
mayoccur.
Makesurethat thecondensedwaterdrippingfromthe
drainhose runsoutproperlyand safely.
Install thepowercableand communication cable of
the indoorand outdoorunit at least1m awayfrom the
electricappliance.
Install theindoorunit awayfromlighting apparatus
usingthe ballast.
• If you use the wireless remote control, reception errormay
occurdue to the ballast of the lighting apparatus.
