IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your Steam brush/iron, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Use Steam brush/iron only for its intended use.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the Steam brush/iron in water or
other liquids. Always turn the garment steamer/iron to “ 0” before plugging in or unplugging
from outlet.
4. Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet. Grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
5. Do nol allow cord to touch hot surfaces, Lel Steam brush/iron cool completely before pulling
away.
6. Always disconnect Steam brush/iron form electrical oullet when filling with waler, emptying,
or when not in use.
7. Do nol operate Steam brush/iron with a damaged cord, or after the appliance has been
dropped or damaged in any manner lo avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the
appliance,Incorrecl reassembly can cause the risk of electric shock when the Steam brush/iron
is used.
8. Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children. Do not leave
Steam brush/iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
9. Burns can occur from touching hot melal parts, hol water or steam. Use caution when you turn a
sleam iron upside down; there may be hot water in the reservoir.
10. Loop cord loosely around Steam brush/iron when storing.
11. This appliance is for household use only.
12. This appliance is not inlended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high-wattage appliance on the same circuil.
2. If an extension cord is absolutely, necessary, use a 5-ampere cord. Cords raled for less amperage
may overheat, Use care lo arrange lhe cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
3. If 13 Amp (BS/1363/A) plug is used, a 13 Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug, adaplor or
distribution board.
4. If the electrical sockets in your home are not suitable for the plug filled to this appliance, the plug
should be removed and an appropriate one filled.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove any labels, slickers or lags which may be allached to the body or soleplate of the garment
sleamer/iron before using the appliance.
Read all instructions for use carefully. Always follow the Important Safeguards,
IMPORTANT
The first lime an iron is used. some odor and small white parlicles may come
oul of the sleam vents. This perfectly normal and will cease to occur after the iron has been in use
fora shorl while.
Before you start using your Steam brush/iron. follow the instructions in the manual and do the
following in order to eliminate any odor and small white residue particles and to ensure optimum
steam performance.
1.Fill the Steam brush/iron with regular tap waler.
2.Setthe lemperalure control knob to ils highest setting.
3.The pilol light will go off to indicate that the Steam brush/iron has reached the selecled
lemperalure.
4.Keep the iron in a horizontal position and allow it to steam until the waler runs out.
5.Press the steam trigger to eliminate white residue particles.
6.Repeat this procedure through 2or fillings.
@ Using the Garment Brush
CAUTION! To prevent the risk of burns, make sure that the ion is not
plugged in and that the iron sole plate is not hot before you
slide on the garment brush to the iron.
1. Disconnect the Steam brush/iron from the power supply.
2. If the appliance is hot, let it cool down first.
3. Slide the garment brush onto the sole plate of the Steam brush/iron.
4. To remove the garment brush, disconnect Steam brush/iron from the power supply and let
the unil cool down.
5. Turn the locking lab 180" clockwise and slide the garment brush off.

9 FILLING WITH WATER
WARNING! Before filling the Steam brush/iron with water, be sure that the Unit
is not plugged into the electrical outlet. The Steamer/iron may be
| filled with water while itis hot.To prevent the risk of burns, use
| caution when filling Steam brush/iron with water. Burns can occur
| form touching Hot metal parts, hot water or steam.
| CAUTION: Never fill the Steam brush/iron with fabric conditioner, starches
orany other liquid, as these will damage the steam mechanism. Do
not use contaminated water.
NOTE: Because of the soleplate design, ordinary tap water may be used with this|
appliance. However, in very hard water areas, we recommend using
| distilled or demineralized water.
1. Disconnect the unit from the power supply.
2. Remove the water tank and open the water inlet stopper.
3. Using the measuring beaker or others container and holding the water tank at a slight angle, pour
water slowly into the water filling inlet See illustration. Do not overfill the tank.
4. Plug the cord into a household electrical oullet
5. Turn the temperature control knob lo the desired temperature setting and allow the iron lo heat
for approximately 2 minutes before ironing.. Place iron on its heel (on a stable. protected surface)
while the iron is warming to desired temperature, The pilot light will come on. When the iron has
reached the desired temperature, the pilot light will go ‘Off’.

Please note: Before starting to iron d te fabrics, temperature of the Steam
brush/iron on a hem or an inside seam.
1. Set the temperature control knob to the desired lemperature.
2. Place the iron by side-laying posilion and connect it to the main power supply.
3. The pilot light will come on to indicate that the Steam brush/iron is healing up. The light will
go 'Off when the set temperature has been reached and the Steam brush/iron is ready to use.
The pilot light will go on and off as the thermostat is swilching the heating element on and off to
maintain the selected temperature.

. When the pilot light has gone off. press the steam trigger to produce a strong jet of steam.
WARNING! Do notaim iron at face, towards yourself, or anyone else while
using or adjusting steam. Burns or serious injury may occur.
Please note: Before using the Steam brush/iron for the first time, it is important to
purge the inside of the iron by allowing itto steam freely for a minute. This allows
the removal of any impurities left by the manufacturing process.
To prevent water leaking from the soleplate, do not keep the steam trigger depressed for more
than 5 seconds. See illustrations below.
. When using the continuous steam feature, depress the steam trigger and then release. Steam
flow will begin shortly after releasing the steam trigger. To maintain a constant flow of steam,
depress and release steam trigger again when steam flow has begun to drop.
Please note: For maximum steam, the temperature control knob should be setat eee.
IMPORTANT: If the Steam brush/iron has not been setto the correct
temperature setting for steam, water drops may leak from the
soleplate.

All marked settings on the temperature knob can be used for dry ironing.

Always emply and clean your garment steamer/iron after each use and before storing.
1. Turn the temperature control knob to the ' 0" position
2. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Empty the Steam brush/iron of all remaining water in the water reservoir. (Fig-A)
4. Allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
5. When the Steam brush/iron has cooled down completely, scale and other residue can be
wiped off the sole plate with a damp cloth.
6. Store the Steam brush/iron in the upright position.
WARNING! Use caution when emptying the Steam brush/iron Burns may

instructions for filling.
4.Steam performance may be low if iron requires seasoning. To
season, use regular tap water for 1 or 2 tanks unlil steam
