Mit dem sanowell ActiveSpa haben Sie ein Ganzkörper-Massage-System erworben, mit dem
Sie aktiv zur Pflege und Entspannung Ihres Körpers beitragen können. Erleben Sie zu Hause
in Ihrer Badewanne die wohltuende Wirkung von Wasser, Wärme und Sauerstoff.
Die Massagewirkung Ihres Gerätes können Sie ganz individuell direkt am Gebläseaggregat
steuern. Zusätzlich ist die Luftzufuhr zu den Luftkanälen am Luftverteiler-System
der Sprudelmatte regelbar. 7 Massageprogramme machen das Baden zu einem
Wellnesserlebnis.
Neben den Massage- bzw. Therapieprogrammen können Sie zwischen 12 Massagestufen
wählen.
Um die verschiedenen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten optimal nutzen zu können, lesen Sie bitte
diese Gebrauchsanweisung sowie die Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie Ihr
sanowell ActiveSpa zum ersten Mal in Betrieb nehmen.

1. Lieferumfang und Zubehör
1.1. Lieferumfang
Bitte prüfen Sie zunächst, ob Ihr sanowell ActiveSpa Luftsprudelbad vollständig ist. Im
Lieferumfang enthalten sind:
• Gebläseaggregat
• Luftschlauch
• Sprudelmatte mit 4 Luftkanälen und Luftverteiler-System
• Wandbefestigung für das Gebläseaggregat
• Wandbefestigung für den Schlauch und die Sprudelmatte

1.3. Bezugsquellen für sanowell nichtschäumende Badeöle
sanowell nichtschäumende Badeöle können Sie unter Angabe der jeweiligen Artikel-Nummer
in Ihrer Apotheke bestellen, oder über gut sortierte Sanitätshäuser und Versandhändler
beziehen.
2. Sicherheits- und Warnhinweise
Bitte lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch
und bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachlesen auf.
• Das Gebläseaggregat darf nicht über der Badewanne oder Dusche angebracht oder
genutzt werden, um einem eventuellen Sturz ins Wasser vorzubeugen.
• Setzen Sie Ihr Luftsprudelbad nicht der direkten Hitze eines Heizkörpers aus.
• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten und fassen Sie den
Schalter bzw. den Stecker stets nur mit trockenen Händen an.
• Bedienen Sie das Luftsprudelbad niemals während Sie sich in der Wanne aufhalten.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn das Kabel oder die Steckdose beschädigt ist.
Halten Sie das Kabel von heißen Oberflächen fern.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit Wasser und speziellen, für Luftsprudelbäder
geeignete Badezusätze, nicht mit anderen Flüssigkeiten.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät nach dem Gebrauch aus, und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der
Steckdose.
• Benutzen Sie das Kabel nicht zum Ziehen oder Tragen des Gerätes.
• Achten Sie besonders sorgsam auf die sachgemäße Benutzung, wenn das Gerät von
oder in der Nähe von Kindern oder behinderten Personen eingesetzt wird.
• Das Gerät ist nicht für den kommerziellen Gebrauch bestimmt. Benutzen Sie das Gerät
nur entsprechend seiner Bestimmung laut Gebrauchsanweisung.
• Die Voltzahl des Gerätes muss mit der landesüblichen Spannung übereinstimmen.
• Das Gerät muss über einen Fehlerstromschutzschalter (Fi-Schalter) mit max.
Nennauslösestromstärke 30mA angeschlossen werden. Vorsicht: Beachten Sie hierzu
auch die in Ihrem Land gültigen nationalen Einrichtungsbestimmungen (UK: BS 7671).
• Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht unbeobachtet, während es angeschaltet ist.
• Decken Sie niemals die Luftzufuhrschlitze auf der Unterseite des Geräts ab.
• Im Falle einer Funktionsstörung benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht weiter. Fragen Sie
Ihren Fachhändler und lassen Sie Reparaturen nur von autorisierten Servicestellen
durchführen.
• Falls Sie unter medizinischen Fußproblemen, Venenerkrankungen oder Diabetes leiden,
oder falls bei Gebrauch gesundheitliche Beschwerden auftreten, konsultieren Sie bitte
Ihren Arzt.
3. Inbetriebnahme des Luftsprudelbads
3.1. Platzieren der Sprudelmatte und des Luftschlauchs
Legen Sie die Sprudelmatte in die feuchte Badewanne und drücken Sie die Haftsauger fest
an, damit diese am Wannenboden haften. Zu Ihrer Sicherheit ist die Sprudelmatte mit
extra großen Haftsaugern ausgestattet. Bitte betreten Sie aus Sicherheitsgründen die
Matte nie im Randbereich sondern immer in der Mitte. Halten Sie sich zusätzlich immer am
Wannenrand und am Wandhaltegriff fest.
Stecken Sie den Stutzen des Luftschlauchs in die Öffnung am Luftverteiler der
Sprudelmatte. Mit geringem Druck und einer leichten Drehung schließen Sie den Schlauch
an die Matte an. Verbinden Sie den Stutzen am anderen Ende des Luftschlauches in der
gleichen Weise mit dem Gebläseaggregat. Achtung: Bitte drücken Sie den Luftschlauch
nur leicht in die Öffnungen, da andernfalls die Matte bzw. das Aggregat beschädigt werden
können.
Ihr sanowell ActiveSpa Luftsprudelbad besitzt gemäß den Sicherheitsvorschriften ein in das
Gebläseaggregat integriertes Sicherheitssystem. Dieses verhindert, dass Wasser über den
Luftschlauch in das Gerät eindringen kann. Eine konventionelle Wasserrücklaufsperre am
Luftschlauch ist daher überflüssig.
Befüllen Sie Ihre Badewanne erst mit warmem Wasser, nachdem Sie die Sprudelmatte auf
dem Wannenboden festgedrückt und die Matte und das Gebläseaggregat mit dem Schlauch
verbunden haben. Bitte beachten Sie die maximale Einfüllhöhe von 40 cm.

3.2. Aufstellen des Gebläseaggregats
Stellen Sie das Gebläse kippsicher auf einen ungepolsterten Hocker. Achten Sie auf einen
Sicherheitsabstand von mindestens 60 cm zur Badewanne, um zu verhindern, dass das
Gerät in die Wanne fallen kann.
Legen Sie keine Handtücher, Teppiche oder ähnliche Gegenstände unter das Aggregat, da
sonst die Luftansaugschlitze verstopfen könnten.
Wir empfehlen, Ihr ActiveSpa Luftsprudelbad mittels der Wandhalterung fest an Ihrer
Badezimmerwand zu installieren. Beachten Sie bitte hierzu die Anleitung zur Wandmontage
in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung. (Kapitel 8.1.)
3.3. Einschalten des Luftsprudelbades
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Gerätes mit trockenen Händen in die Steckdose.
Schalten Sie das Gebläse am seitlich angebrachten, grünen Hauptschalter ein. Sobald Sie
den Hauptschalter auf Position „I“ gestellt haben, blinkt die grüne Leuchtanzeige an der
„ON“ Taste der Folientastatur. Das Display zeigt die Ziffern „00“ an. Das Gerät ist nun
betriebsbereit.
Durch Betätigen der „ON“ Taste, aktivieren Sie die Standardeinstellungen des Geräts. Im
Display wird nun die Massagestufe 6 angezeigt. Der Timer ist auf 15 Minuten eingestellt.
4. Bedienen des Sprudelbades
4.1. Einstellen der Luftmenge bzw. Massagestärke
Über die Tasten „Massage“ und „+“ bzw. „–“ können Sie die Massagestärke regulieren.
Über die Tasten „+“ für stärker bzw. „–“ für schwächer können Sie nun die Motorleistung
in 12 Stufen regulieren. Hierzu halten Sie die Taste entweder permanent gedrückt
(die Massagestärke wird automatisch nach oben bzw. unten reguliert), oder variieren
stufenweise mittels Knopfdruck.
4.2. Einstellen der Zeitschaltuhr
Über die Tasten „Time“ „+“ bzw. „–“ können Sie die Dauer des Sprudelbadens regulieren.
Halten Sie hierzu die Taste „+“ bzw. „–“ entweder permanent gedrückt (die Dauer wird
automatisch nach oben bzw. unten reguliert), oder gehen Sie stufenweise per Knopfdruck
weiter. Nach Ablauf der eingestellten Zeit, schaltet das Gerät automatisch ab. Sie können
zwischen 1 und 60 Minuten wählen.
4.3. Einstellen der Ozonfunktion
Über die Taste „Ozon“ aktivieren Sie die Ozonfunktion Ihres Luftsprudelbades. Die Funktion
ist aktiviert, wenn das grüne LED der Taste aufleuchtet. Im Display blinkt für kurze Zeit „O3“
Genauere Informationen zum Thema Ozon entnehmen Sie bitte dem Kapitel 7. „Was ist
Ozon?“

5. Auswahl der Massageprogramme
Über die „Pro.“ Taste können sie bequem das von Ihnen gewünschte Massageprogramm
auswählen. Drücken Sie die „Pro.“ Taste solange, bis im Display das gewünschte Programm
angezeigt wird. Das Programm ist aktiviert, wenn die grüne Leuchtanzeige der „Pro“ Taste
leuchtet.
5.1. Beschreibung der verschiedenen Massageprogramme
Programm 1 – P1
Intensives Sprudeln mit langem, beruhigendem Comfort-Intervall. Schenkt dem überlasteten
Organismus wohltuende Ruhe, entspannt und fördert die Durchblutung der Haut.
Unterstützt die Regeneration des Körpers während vorgespeicherter Ruhephasen. Dieses
Programm sollte vorzugsweiße abends angewandt werden und dauert 20 Minuten. Dieses
Programm beinhaltet die automatische Zufuhr von Ozon. Es wird eine Wassertemperatur
von ca. 34 bis 37 °C empfohlen. sanowell Melisse oder Lavendel Kräuterbäder sind ideal
für diese Anwendung.
Programm 2 – P2
Sprudeln mit Wechseln zwischen ansteigender Intensität und langen Comfort-Intervallen
mit Ruhephase. Wiederkehrender Massage-Rhythmus - mit Ozonzufuhr. Fördert die
Durchblutung der Haut und steigert deren Spannkraft. Schenkt dem Organismus neue
Vitalität und aktiviert den Stoffwechsel. Diese Anwendung kann morgens oder abends
vorgenommen werden und dauert 25 Minuten. Es wird eine Wassertemperatur von ca. 35
bis 37 °C empfohlen. sanowell Fichtennadel Kräuterbad ist ideal für diese Anwendung.
Programm 3 – P3
Kräftiges Sprudeln, im Wechsel ansteigend und abfallend. Gleichbleibender Rhythmus
durch Varios-Intervall. Schenkt neue Vitalität und bringt den Kreislauf und Stoffwechsel
in Schwung. Kräftigt die Muskulatur und erhöht die Spannkraft. Diese Anwendung kann
jederzeit vorgenommen werden und dauert 30 Minuten. Zufuhr von Ozon. Es wird eine
Wassertemperatur von ca. 34 bis 37 °C empfohlen. sanowell Fichtennadel oder Eukalyptus
Kräuterbäder sind ideal für diese Anwendung.
Programm 4 – P4
Kräftige und sanfte Massage in ausgeglichenem Wechsel mit Trainings-Intervallen.
Erfrischt und belebt, schenkt neue Vitalität. Sanftes Training für Körper und Kreislauf. Diese
Anwendung kann jederzeit vorgenommen werden und dauert 15 Minuten. Zufuhr von Ozon.
Es wird eine Wassertemperatur von ca. 34 bis 38 °C empfohlen. sanowell Fichtennadel
oder Eukalyptus Kräuterbäder sind ideal für diese Anwendung.
Programm 5 – P5
Stärkstes Sprudeln im Wechsel mit kräftigem Sprudeln durch sehr langes Trainings-
Intervall ohne Ruhepause. Wirkt kräftigend auf Körper und Kreislauf und steigert die
Leistungsfähigkeit. Erhöht die Sauerstoffzufuhr der Haut. Diese Anwendung kann jederzeit
vorgenommen werden und dauert 25 Minuten. Zufuhr von Ozon. Es wird eine Wasser-

temperatur von ca. 34 bis 38 °C empfohlen. sanowell Rosskastanie Kräuterbad ist ideal für
diese Anwendung.
Programm 6 – P6
Sehr starkes Sprudeln. Rhythmisch-kraftvolle Massagewellen durch Aktiv-Intervall mit
Entspannungsphase. Bringt neuen Schwung und weckt die Lebensgeister. Stark anregend
für Herz und Kreislauf. Fördert die Ausdauer und Belastbarkeit. Intensive Massage mit
hoher Sauerstoffzugabe. Die Anwendung kann jederzeit vorgenommen werden und dauert
25 Minuten. Es wird eine Wassertemperatur von ca. 33 bis 37 °C empfohlen. sanowell
Rosskastanie Kräuterbad ist ideal für diese Anwendung.
Programm 7 – P7
Eine Mischung aus den sechs anderen Programmen in beliebiger Reihenfolge. Vertreibt die
Müdigkeit, mobilisiert und aktiviert den Körper durch wiederkehrende Massagereize. Diese
Anwendung kann jederzeit vorgenommen werden und dauert 30 Minuten. Zufuhr von Ozon.
Es wird eine Wassertemperatur von ca. 34 bis 38 °C empfohlen. sanowell Kräuterbäder
sind ideal für diese Anwendung.
6.1. Bedienen der Sprudelmatte
Am Fußende Ihrer Sprudelmatte befindet sich der Luftverteiler, mit dessen beiden seitlichen
Reglern Sie die einzelnen Besprudelungszonen zu- bzw. abschalten können.
6.2. Nach dem Baden
Die Matte sollte nach dem Baden heiß abgeduscht werden um Badezusätze, Seifenreste
und eventuellen Verschmutzungen zu entfernen. Hängen Sie danach die Matte und den
Schlauch auf, um das Wasser abtropfen zu lassen. Beachten Sie hierzu das Kapitel 6.3.
„Reinigungsfunktion“.
6.3. Reinigungsfunktion
Ihr Luftsprudelbad besitzt eine Reinigungsfunktion für den Schlauch und die Sprudelmatte.
Diese Funktion wird über die Taste „Clean“ am Gebläseaggregat aktiviert. Die Funktion ist
aktiviert wenn die grünen Leuchtanzeigen an den Tasten „Clean“ und „Ozon“ leuchten und im
Display „CL“ angezeigt wird. Die Reinigung dauert 5 Minuten. Während der Reinigung wird
Ozon zur Entkeimung zugeschaltet, und das Gebläse arbeitet auf höchster Stufe, um durch
Warmluft Restwasser aus der Matte und dem Schlauch zu blasen.
Vor dem Aktivieren des Reinigungsprogramms muss das Badewasser aus der Wanne
abgelassen werden. Das Reinigungsprogramm beschleunigt das Entfernen von Restwasser
aus der Matte zur Erhaltung der Hygiene.
6.4. Heizung
Während eines normalen Vollbads kühlt das Badewasser ab. Durch intensive
Luftsprudelmassage unter Verwendung von hohen Luftmengen entsteht physikalisch bedingt
eine schnellere Abkühlung des Badewassers.

Im Gebläseaggregat ist eine Heizung eingebaut, welche die zur Massage genutzte
Luftmenge des Sprudelbades vorwärmt. Durch die vorgewärmte Luft kann ein zu schnelles
Abkühlen des Wassers verhindert werden.
7. Was ist Ozon?
Ozon ist eine natürliche Verbindung aus drei Sauerstoffatomen (O3), die als starkes Oxidans
Schadstoffe verbrennt. Die Ozonschicht zum Schutz unserer Umwelt bildet sich aus
molekularem Sauerstoff unter dem Einfluss der kurzwelligen UV-Strahlung der Sonne. Das
Ozon der Stratosphäre schützt uns durch Absorption vor aggressiver Sonneneinstrahlung.
Weniger bekannt ist, dass Ozon, bei richtiger Anwendung, auch für Therapiezwecke
eingesetzt werden kann. Ozon im Luftsprudelbad hat eine Sauerstoff erhöhende Wirkung
- zur Anreicherung des Badewassers mit Sauerstoff. Durch die entkeimende Wirkung des
Ozons wird die Desinfektion gefördert und unterstützt.
7.1. Technischer Ablauf des Ozon Sprudelbades
In das Gebläseaggregat des Sprudelbades ist ein Ozongenerator eingebaut, der separat
zugeschaltet werden kann, indem Sie die Ozontaste betätigen. Die vom Gebläse zum
Bad geleitete Luft wird mit dem vom Ozongenerator erzeugten Ozon angereichert und
über den Luftstrom durch die Sprudelmatte dem Badewasser zugeführt. Die Dosierung
(Ozonmenge) entspricht den gesetzlichen Bestimmungen und liegt im zulässigen Bereich
- Ihr Ozongenerator ist völlig wartungsfrei.
8. Montage der Wandhalterungen
Das mitgelieferte Wandmontagezubehör ermöglicht die Befestigung des
Gebläseaggregates, der Luftsprudelmatte und des Schlauchs an Ihrer Badezimmerwand.
8.1. Wandmontage des Gebläseaggregates
Zur Wandmontage des Gebläses beachten Sie bitte einen Sicherheitsabstand von
mindestens 60 cm zur Wanne. Montieren Sie das Gerät niemals mit Luftaustritt nach
oben, oder so dass die Luftansaugung einen Teppich, Vorhang oder Ähnliches ansaugen und
dadurch verstopfen könnten.
1. Zeichnen Sie die Löcher an und bohren Sie mit folgendem Abstand: 247 mm
2. Dübel und Wandbefestigung einsetzen und anschrauben.
3. Gebläse auf die Wandbefestigung aufsetzen.
4. Mit seitlichen Schrauben an Wandbefestigung fixieren.
8.2. Montage der Wandhalterung für die Matte und den Schlauch
Zur Montage der Wandhalterung wählen Sie eine günstige Position.
1. Zeichnen Sie die Löcher an und bohren Sie anschließend.
2. Dübel einsetzen und die Wandhalterung anschrauben.
9. Pflege und Aufbewahrung
• Das Gerät kann mit Alkohol gereinigt werden. Hinweis: Bei der Handhabung
entzündlicher Flüssigkeiten, nicht rauchen oder mit offenen Flammen arbeiten (z.B.
Kerzen usw.).

• Das Gebläseaggregat nicht in Flüssigkeiten eintauchen oder großen Wassermengen
aussetzen.
• Nach der Benutzung das Wasser aus der Matte und dem Schlauch abtropfen lassen
und mit einem trockenen und weichen Tuch abwischen.
• Bei Nichtgebrauch das Luftsprudelbad in die dazugehörigen Wandhalterungen hängen
bzw. das Gerät an einem kühlen und trockenen Ort aufbewahren.
10. Entsorgung
Die Geräteverpackung sollte der Wertstoff-Wiederverwendung zugeführt werden, die
Metallteile des Gerätes der Altmetallentsorgung. Kunststoffteile, elektrische Bauteile
und Leiterplatten werden als Elektronikschrott entsorgt. Batterien sind Sondermüll und
müssen fachgerecht entsorgt werden. Geben Sie verbrauchte Batterien bei Ihrem örtlichen
Recyclingunternehmen ab. Werfen Sie diese nicht in den Hausmüll. Weitere Auskünfte zur
Entsorgung von Problemstoffen gibt Ihnen Ihr örtliches Entsorgungsunternehmen.

12. Garantie
Wir übernehmen für unsere Produkte eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum.
Innerhalb der Garantiezeit beseitigen wir unentgeltlich Mängel des Gerätes, die auf
Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen. Die Mängelbeseitigung erfolgt nach unserer
Wahl durch Reparatur oder durch den Austausch von Teilen oder des ganzen Gerätes.
Von der Garantieleistung sind ausgenommen: Schäden, die auf einen unsachgemäßen
Gerätegebrauch zurückzuführen sind (z. B. Anschluss an eine falsche Strom- oder
Spannungsart, Anschluss an andere ungeeignete Stromquellen, Bruch durch Stürze und
ähnliches). Normaler Verschleiß und Mängel, die den Wert oder die Gebrauchstauglichkeit
des Gerätes nur unbedeutend beeinflussen, fallen nicht unter die Garantieleistungen.
Die Garantie erlischt bei nicht autorisierten Eingriffen oder bei Verwendung nicht originaler
Ersatzteile.
Im Garantiefall senden Sie bitte das Produkt mit dem original Kaufnachweis an einen
unserer Service-Partner bzw. direkt an die hofmann gmbh ein.
Sonstige Ansprüche jeglicher Art aus dieser Garantie sind ausgeschlossen, soweit unsere
Haftung nicht zwingend vorgeschrieben ist. Die Gewährleistungsansprüche aus dem

1.3. Where to buy sanowell non-foaming bath oils
You can order sanowell non-foaming bath oils at your pharmacy, from well-assorted
suppliers of medical and healthcare articles or via mail order; don’t forget to state the part
number.
2. Safety instructions
Please read this instruction manual carefully before first use and keep it for future
reference.
• The blower unit must not be fastened or used above the bathtub or shower to avoid
the unit dropping into water.
• Do not expose your bubble spa to the direct heat of a radiator.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids and always make sure your hands
are dry before you touch the switch or plug.
• Never operate the bubble spa while you are in the bathtub.
• Do not use the device if the cable or the power outlet is damaged. Keep the cable away
from hot surfaces.
• Use the device only with water and special bath oils that are suitable for bubble spas,
never with other liquids.
• Switch off the device after use and pull the plug out of the power outlet.

• Do not pull or carry the device by the cable.
• Pay special attention to proper use whenever the device is used by or close to children
or disabled persons.
• The device is not intended for commercial use. Use the device only for the intended
purpose as described in the instruction manual.
• The voltage of the device must match the local supply voltage.
• The device must be connected via a ground fault circuit interrupter that trips at a
leakage current of 30 mA. Attention: Observe the regulations for such devices in your
country (US: BS 7671).
• Never leave the device unattended when it is switched on.
• Never cover the air slots on the bottom of the device.
• Do not keep using the device in case of a malfunction. Ask your specialist supplier and
have repairs performed only by authorized service points.
• If you suffer from medical foot conditions, venous disease or diabetes, or if you
experience health problems while using the bubble spa, consult your doctor.
3. Using the bubble spa
3.1. Positioning the bath mat and the air hose
Place the bath mat into the wet bathtub and press down firmly on the suction cups to
make them stick to the floor of the tub. The bath mat has extra-large suction cups for your
safety. Please always step on the middle of the bath mat to prevent slipping at the edge.
Also, always hold on to the rim of the tub and the handle at the wall when stepping onto the
mat.
Insert the connector of the air hose into the opening at the air distributor of the bath mat.
Press lightly and turn the connector to connect the hose to the mat. Connect the connector
at the other end of the hose to the blower unit in the same way. Attention: Please press
the hose only lightly into the openings to avoid damaging the mat or the blower unit.
In accordance with safety regulations, your sanowell ActiveSpa bubble spa is equipped with
a safety system integrated in the blower unit. This system prevents water from entering
the unit via the air hose. Hence, a conventional non-reverse ratchet at the air hose is
unnecessary.
Do not fill warm water into your tub until you have pressed the bath mat to the tub floor
and connected the mat and the blower unit to the hose. Please note that the water level
may not be higher than 40 cm.
3.2. Positioning the blower unit
Place the blower onto a stool without upholstery so that it cannot tip over. Place the device
at least 60 cm away from the bathtub to keep it from falling in.
Do not place towels, carpets or similar items under the unit, as this would block the air
slots.

We recommend installing your ActiveSpa bubble spa at the bathroom wall with the wall
mount. Please note the mounting instructions in this manual (section 9.1).
3.3. Switching on the bubble spa
Insert the plug of the device into a power outlet; make sure your hands are dry.
Switch on the blower at the green main switch on the side. Once the main switch is set
to “I”, you will hear an acoustic signal. The green lamp at the “ON” button of the key pad
flashes. The Display shows the digits “00”. The device is now ready for operation.
By pressing the “ON” button, you will activate the device with the default settings. The
display now shows massage speed 6. The timer is set to 15 minutes.
4. Changing settings at the blower unit
4.1. Setting the air volume / massage speed
You can adjust the massage speed using the buttons “Massage” and “+” or “-”. To set the
massage speed, press the “Motor” button first. The function is active when the green lamp
lights up. Now you can adjust the motor output in 12 steps using the “+” (stronger) and
“-” (weaker) buttons. Either keep the button pressed (the massage speed is increased or
decreased automatically) or press the button as often as required.
4.2. Setting the timer
With the buttons “Time” and “+” or “-” you can adjust the duration of your massage. Press
the “Time” button first. The function is active when the green lamp lights up. Now you
can adjust the time with the “+” (longer) and “-” (shorter) buttons. Either keep the button
pressed (the time is increased or decreased automatically) or press the button as often as
required. When the set time has expired, the device is switched off automatically. You can
set a time between 1 and 60 minutes.
4.3. Setting the ozone function
Use the “Ozone” button to activate the ozone function of your bubble spa. The function
is active when the green lamp lights up. The “O3” in the display flashes briefly. For more
information on the ozone function, please see section 7 - “What is ozone?”
5. Selecting the massage programs
Select your desired massage program using the “Pro” button. Press the “Pro” button until
the desired program appears in the display. The program is active when the green lamp of
the “Pro” button is lit.

5.1. Description of the different massage programs
Program 1 – P1
Intense bubbling with a long, soothing comfort interval. Calming and soothing for the body,
this relaxing program stimulates the blood circulation of your skin. Supports the body’s
regeneration during preset rest phases. This 20-minute program should preferably be run
in the evening. Addition of ozone. The recommended water temperature is approx. 34 to
37 °C. sanowell balm or lavender bath oil is the ideal choice for this program.
Program 2 – P2
Bubbling with alternating phases of increasing intensity and long comfort intervals
with rest phase. Recurrent massage rhythm – with addition of ozone. Stimulates the
blood circulation of the skin and improves skin tone. Invigorates the body and activates
the metabolism. This 25-minute program can be run in the morning or evening. The
recommended water temperature is approx. 35 to 37 °C. sanowell pine bath oil is the ideal
choice for this program.
Program 3 – P3
Strong bubbling, alternating between increasing and decreasing intensity. Uniform
rhythm with Varios interval. Vitalizes and stimulates the circulation and the metabolism.
Strengthens the muscles and improves their tone. This 30-minute program can be run
any time. Addition of ozone. The recommended water temperature is approx. 34 to 37 °C.
sanowell pine or eucalyptus bath oil is the ideal choice for this program.
Program 4 – P4
Strong and gentle massage alternating with training intervals. Refreshing and invigorating,
this program vitalizes the organism. Gentle training for the body and circulation. This
15-minute program can be run any time. Addition of ozone. The recommended water
temperature is approx. 34 to 38 °C. sanowell pine or eucalyptus bath oil is the ideal choice
for this program.
Program 5 – P5
Maximum bubbling alternating with strong bubbling in a very long training interval without
rest phase. Invigorates the body and the circulation and improves stamina. Increases
the supply of oxygen to the skin. This 25-minute program can be run any time. Addition
of ozone. The recommended water temperature is approx. 34 to 38 °C. sanowell horse
chestnut bath oil is the ideal choice for this program.
Program 6 – P6
Very strong bubbling. Rhythmic and powerful massage waves with active interval and
rest phase. Invigorating and revitalizing. Strong stimulation of the heart and circulation.
Increases stamina and physical resilience. Intense massage with high oxygen supply. This
15-minute program can be run any time. The recommended water temperature is approx.
33 to 37 °C. sanowell horse chestnut bath oil is the ideal choice for this program.

Program 7 – P7
A combination of the six other programs in any desired order. Relieves tiredness,
invigorates and activates the body with recurrent massage stimuli. This 30-minute program
can be run any time. Addition of ozone. The recommended water temperature is approx. 34
to 38 °C. sanowell herb bath oils are the ideal choice for this program.
6.1. Using the bath mat
At the foot of the bath mat, you will find the air distributor; use the two controllers at the
side to activate or deactivate the individual bubbling zones.
6.2. After the bath
After the bath, the mat should be rinsed with hot water to remove bath oil, soap and any
remaining dirt. Then hang up the mat and the hose to let the water drain. Please read
section 6.3 – “Cleaning function”.
6.3. Cleaning function
Your bubble spa is equipped with a cleaning function for the hose and the bath mat. This
function is activated with the “Clean” button at the blower unit. The function is active when
the green lights in the “Clean” and “Ozon” buttons are lit and the display shows “CL”. The
cleaning takes 5 minutes. During cleaning, ozone is supplied for disinfection and the blower
unit runs at full capacity to blow residual water from the mat and the hose using warm air.
Drain the water from the bathtub before activating the cleaning program. The program
ensures optimum hygiene by quickly removing the water from the mat.
6.4. Heating
During a bath, the bath water eventually cools. This process is accelerated when large
volumes of air are used to generate intense bubbling.
The blower includes a heating unit that warms the air used to generate the massage
bubbles. The warm air prevents the water from cooling too soon.
7. What is ozone?
Ozone is a natural compound consisting of three oxygen atoms (O3) that acts as a strong
oxidant and burns harmful substances. The ozone layer that protects our environment is
formed when molecular oxygen is exposed to the short-wave UV radiation of the sun.
The ozone in the stratosphere absorbs the sun’s aggressive radiation, thereby acting as a
protective shield. What is less commonly known is that, used properly, ozone can also have
a therapeutic effect. Ozone in the bubble bath increases the oxygen content of the bath
water. The antiseptic property of the ozone supports disinfection.

7.1. Generation of ozone for your bubble spa
The blower unit of your bubble spa contains an ozone generator which can be activated with
the ozone button. The air supplied by the blower is charged with ozone and guided into the
bath water via the air stream and the bath mat. The dosage (ozone quantity) is well within
the legal tolerances – your ozone generator is maintenance-free.
8. Fastening the wall mounts
With the wall mounts provided, the blower unit, bath mat and hose can be fastened to your
bathroom wall.
8.1. Wall mount of the blower unit
Please mount the blower unit at a distance of at least 60 cm from the bathtub. Never
mount the device so that the air slots are at the top, and make sure the air slots cannot
suck in a carpet, curtain etc. and be blocked.
1. Mark the position of the holes on the wall and drill the holes at a distance of 247 mm
2. Insert the dowels and screw down the wall mount.
3. Place the blower onto the wall mount.
4. Fasten the blower to the mount using the screws at the side.
8.2. Fastening the wall mount for the bath mat and the hose
Select a suitable location for the wall mount.
1. Mark the position of the holes on the wall and drill the holes.
2. Insert the dowels and screw down the wall mount.
9. Care and storage
• The device can be cleaned with alcohol. Please note: Never smoke or work with open
flame (e.g. candles etc.) when handling flammable liquids.
• Stains and heavy soiling can be removed with a mild cleaner.
• Do not immerse the blower unit in liquids or expose it to large water quantities.
• After use, let the water drain from the mat and the hose and wipe the parts with a dry
and soft cloth.
• When the bubble spa is not used, it should be stored in the wall mounts or in a cool,
dry place.
10. Disposal
The packaging of the device should be brought to a recycling, the metal parts to a scrap
metal disposal facility. Plastic parts, electric components and circuit boards must be
disposed of as electronic waste. Batteries are hazardous waste and must be disposed of
properly. Bring empty batteries to your local recycling facility, do not throw them into your
household garbage. Contact your local waste disposal company for more information on the
disposal of problematic substances.

12. Warranty
We give a 2-year warranty for our products, starting with the day of purchase.
Within this warranty period, we will eliminate defects caused by material of production
faults free of charge. We will eliminate defects either by repair or by replacing individual
parts or the entire device.
The warranty does not cover defects that are caused by improper use of the device (e.g.
connection to the wrong type of current or voltage, connection to unsuitable power sources,
breakage due to the device falling down etc.). Normal wear and defects that represent
a negligible impairment of the device’s value or serviceability are also not covered by the
warranty.
The warranty expires in case of unauthorized manipulation or use of other than original
spare parts.
In case of a defect that is covered by the warranty, please send the device and the original
receipt to one of our service partners or directly to hofmann gmbh.
Any other claims based on this warranty are excluded unless we are legally obliged to
accept liability. Warranty claims against the seller resulting from the sales contract are
unaffected by this warranty.
