With the introduction of the amazingly versatile NV-E7000, SANYO combines a compact,
fully portable automotive navigation system with a state-of-the-art mobile DVD player
with its own 7” widescreen LCD monitor. What’s more, the NV-E7000 is fully self-
contained and can be easily moved from vehicle to vehicle (or to backpack!) in a
matter of minutes.

Route to Home... Once your home address has been
stored in memory, the unit will automatically calculate the
route home from anywhere in the continental United
States or Canada.
Multi-Search Options... Lets you look for destinations by
region, by address, by intersection, by nearest point of
interest, by phone number or by positioning the cursor
anywhere on the displayed map. Nautically inclined
travelers can even use longitude and latitude to find their
destination.

Global Positioning Receiver (GPS)... Incorporated into
the NV-E7000 relies on a series of signals from several
satellites high above the earth’s surface to determine your
vehicle’s exact location as well as the direction in which
you are traveling. GPS offers the safety and security of
always knowing your exact location and where you are
heading.
DVD-ROM Navigation System... Utilizes a supplied DVD
map disc of the entire continental United States and
Canada to suggest a route, offer traveling directions and
other information. DVD-based navigation systems deliver
greater geographic coverage, more detailed points-of-
interest information and calculate routes faster than CD-
ROM-based systems, which typically require the use of
several discs.
POI (Point-Of-Interest Data Base)... Stores the locations
of nearby restaurants, banks, gas stations, shopping areas,
amusement parks and other commonly requested
destinations.This greatly simplifies travel by eliminating
reliance on phone books and/or directory assistance
operators
Menu-Driven Graphical User Interface... Offers a simple,
easy-to-follow way to access all system functions using
the 4-position joystick/enter buttons on the remote or the
front panel.
Recent Destinations History... Even if you forget to input
an often-frequented destination in your address book, the
NV-E7000 has you covered. It automatically stores to and
from route information for your most recent destinations,
making retracing your travels easier than ever.
Estimated Travel Time... Who isn’t in a hurry these days?
Quick as a wink, the NV-E7000 can repeatedly use GPS
signal information to calculate and determine your
remaining travel time as you approach your destination.
Complete Portability... Unlike fixed navigation systems,
the NV-E7000 can be easily transferred from one vehicle
to another. With the optional battery pack, it can also be
quickly pressed into service as a portable
navigation/DVD entertainment system.
Auto Re-Route... The NV-E7000 is watching the road even
when you’re preoccupied in conversation. Its Auto Re-Route
function will automatically calculate and display a new
route whenever the driver misses a turn or veers off course.
Preferred Route... The NV-E700 lets you pick the path
that’s right for you. Choose from several options, including
faster, shorter, optimal route, etc.You can even choose a
route from as many as three on-screen options
Route Simulation... Lets you preview your trip in advance
so you can familiarize yourself with cross streets and local
landmarks. When used outside of the vehicle without the
GPS receiver, this handy feature actually transforms the
NV-E7000 into a map of the area in which you happen to
find yourself.
