Always use salt intended for use with dishwashers.
The salt container is located beneaththe lower rack and should befilled as follows:
Contact your localwater board for information on the hardness of your water supply.
1. Removethe lower basket and then unscrew andremove
the cap from the salt container.
2. If you are filling the container for the first time ,fill 2/3 of
its volume with water(around 500ml).
4. Carefully screw the cap backon.
5. Usually, the salt warning light will be off in 2-6 days after
the salt container be filled with salt.

Filter assembly
For bestperformance and results, the filter assembly must be
cleaned. The filter efficiently removes food particles from the
wash water, allowing it to berecirculated during the cycle. For
this reason,itis agood ideatoremove the larger food particles
trapped in the filter after each wash cycle by rinsing the
semicircular filter and cup under running water. To remove the
filter assembly, pull on the cuphandle in the upward direction.
The entire filter assembly should be cleaned once a week.
To clean thecoarse filter and the fine filter, use acleaning brush. Then, reassemble
the filter parts as shown in the figures left and reinsert the entire assembly in the
dishwasher,positioning in itsseat and pressing downward.The dishwasher must
never be usedwithout the filters. Improper replacement of the filter may reduce the
performance level of the appliance and damage dishes and utensils.
