CEILING RECESSED
MOUNTING BRACKET

■Safety Precautions
Before starting the installation procedure, please read these instructions carefully. Make sure
to keep these instructions handy for future reference.
This mounting bracket is used for recessed installation on the ceiling of a dome style camera.
This recessed mounting bracket requires an opening to be made in the ceiling. The mounting
bracket must be firmly attached in the opening.

■Installation location strength check
Confirm that the selected location can support the total weight of the camera and
the mounting bracket. A weak installation location can cause the camera and
support to fall down.
For strong installation, reinforce gypsum board, ceiling tiles, etc. Make sure the
mounting bracket is firmly attached or else the camera and mounting bracket may
fall.
■Consult your dealer for installation
The installation requires certain knowledge and experience and should be referred
to a professional. If the support and/or camera fall they may cause severe injuries.
■Do not let the bracket and camera dangle from the cable
During installation, do not let the bracket and camera dangle unsupported from the
cable. If not, they may fall and cause severe injuries.
■Specifications
1 Cut a hole of 174 mm in diameter into the ceiling.
The ceiling thickness can be 9-25 mm.
2 Attach base Bto the ceiling recessed mounting bracket
A, using the four (4) screws C(supplied with the
camera).
Note:The maximum allowed tightening torque for screws C
is 36 kgf.cm. If the screws are overtightened, that
may damage the threads.
3 Connect the coaxial cable to the base.
4 Connect connector Ato the camera unit, then press the
camera unit onto the base until it clicks into place.
Tighten the four (4) camera unit fixing screws evenly to
attach the camera unit.
5 Put both mounting bracket locking clips Dstraight
against the mounting bracket, as indicated by the
arrows, then insert the mounting bracket into the hole.
6 While holding the mounting bracket in place, push on
section Eof both locking clips, then tighten the two (2)
screws Fto lock them.
7 Align the hooks on cover plate Gwith the square holes
on the mounting bracket H, then insert the hooks and
turn the cover plate clockwise to lock it in place.
Be careful not to drop the cover plate during installation or
removal.
