•Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme lesen Sie diese Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig und beachten Sie die darin
gegebenen Hinweise.
•Bewahren Sie diese Betriebsanleitung griffbereit, in der Nähe des Gerätes auf.
•Der Hersteller/Händler kann nicht verantwortlich gemacht werden für Schäden, die durch
Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanleitung entstehen.
•Bei Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanleitung ist die Sicherheit des Gerätes nicht mehr
gewährleistet.
•Bei der Weitergabe des Gerätes an Dritte muss diese Bedienungsanleitung mitgegeben werden.
•Dieses Gerät darf nicht von Kindern oder Personen mit eingeschränkten körperlichen, sensorischen
oder geistigen Fähigkeiten bedient werden, da diese die Gefahren bei Benutzung von Elektrogeräten
und/oder Kühlgeräten nicht erkennen und es zu Unfällen, Bränden, Explosionen oder
Sachbeschädigungen kommen kann.
•Nach dem Auspacken des Gerätes vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich alles in einwandfreiem Zustand
befindet. Sollten Sie Beschädigungen entdecken, so schließen Sie das Gerät nicht an, sondern

•Prüfen Sie, ob alle, im Lieferumfang angegebenen Komponenten, vorhanden sind. Sollte das nicht so
sein, benachrichtigen Sie Ihren Händler.
•Bewahren Sie die Verpackung des Gerätes auf. Nur in derOriginalverpackung kann das Gerät sicher
transportiert werden.
•Beachten Sie, dass alle Bestandteile der Verpackung (Plastikbeutel, Karton, Styroporteile,
usw.) Kinder gefährden können und deshalb nicht in deren Nähe gelagert werden dürfen.
•Falls eine Aufbewahrung der Verpackung nicht möglich ist, trennen Sie die verschiedenen
Verpackungsmaterialien und liefern Sie diese bei der nächstgelegenen Sammelstelle zur sachgemäßen

•Bevor Sie das Gerät an das Stromnetz anschließen und in Betrieb nehmen, reinigen Sie das Gerät
sorgfältig.
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
•Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme lesen Sie diese Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig und beachten Sie die darin
gegebenen Hinweise.
•Falsche Bedienung und unsachgemäße Behandlung können zu Störungen am Gerät führen und zu
Verletzungen des Benutzers.
•Beachten Sie die für den Einsatzbereich geltenden Unfallverhütungsvorschriften und die allgemeinen
Sicherheitsbestimmungen.
•Sorgen Sie für einen sicheren Stand auf eine stabile, waagerechte Fläche und nicht in die Nähe von
•Gas- oder Elektroöfen etc. Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien!
•Berühren Sie nicht die Außenfläche, sondern benutzen Sie die seitlichen Griffe bzw. den Deckelknopf.
•Um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden, muss das Gerät für Kinder unerreichbar sein.
•Reinigen Sie das Gerät niemals, indem Sie es abspritzen oder in Wasser stellen. Vor der Reinigung ziehen
Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und lassen das Gerät abkühlen. Säubern Sie es von außen mit einem
feuchten-warmen Tuch. Der Innentopf ist antihaftbeschichtet und kann mit einem milden Spülmittel
gesäubert werden.
•Bewegen Sie das Gerät nicht während der Benutzung.
•Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht ein, wenn es leer ist.
•Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Kanten hängen und halten Sie es fern von heißen
Gegenständen und offenen Flammen.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass ein unbeabsichtigtes Ziehen am Kabel oder ein Stolpern darüber nicht möglich
ist.
•Beschädigen oder modifizieren Sie das Netzkabel nicht, ziehen Sie nicht daran, belasten, verbiegen oder
quetschen Sie es nicht, verdrehen Sie es nicht und rollen Sie es nicht auf.
•Das Kabel darf nicht mit heißen Teilen oder mit Wasser in Berührung kommen.
•Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gerät momentan nicht gebraucht wird.
•Keine Bedienung des Gerätes durch Kinder oder Personen mit eingeschränkten körperlichen,
sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten; oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen. Diese Personen
können die Gefahren bei der Benutzung von Elektrogeräten und/oder Geräten, welche Hitze erzeugen,
nicht erkennen und es kann zu Unfällen, Brand oder Sachbeschädigung kommen.
•Um das Gerät vom Stromnetz zu trennen, ziehen Sie den.
•Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel immer nur am Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
•Fassen Sie das Gerät, das Kabel oder den Stecker nie mit feuchten Händen an.
•Im Falle einer Störung oder Fehlfunktion, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der
Steckdose. Benachrichtigen Sie Ihren Händler. Er wird die Reparatur mit Originalersatzteilen ausführen.

BEDIENUNGSANWEISUNG
1. Vor der ersten Benutzung reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feucht-warmen Tuch und den Innentopf
mit einem milden Spülmittel.
2. Bevor Sie das zu kochende Produkt in den Innentopf geben, waschen Sie es ein paar Mal sorgfältig
mit frischem Wasser und lassen das Wasser abtropfen. Falls Sie dieses nicht machen, kann das die
Qualität des Produkts beeinflussen und zu einer Ansammlung von Wasserdampf führen.
3. Für die gewünschte Menge benutzen Sie den Maßbecher, z. B. ein Maßbecher Reis ist ausreichend
für eine Person.
4. Nun füllen Sie den Reis bzw. das Gemüse in den Topf.
5. Setzen Sie den Topf in das Gerät. Vorher schauen Sie, ob sich noch Reis o.ä. an der Außenfläche
des Topfes befindet, was dann entfernt werden muss.
6. Nun geben Sie entsprechend der Markierung Wasser hinzu, z.B. für 4 Becher Reis bis zur
Markierung 4 (überschreiten Sie nicht die maximale Markierung).
7. Setzen Sie den Deckel auf den Reiskocher.
8. Schließen Sie das Gerät an. Hiernach ist sofort die Warmhaltefunktion in Betrieb.
9. Für das Kochen schalten Sie das Gerät an. Die Kontrolllampe leuchtet auf und zeigt an, dass der
Kochvorgang in Betrieb ist.
10. Sobald der Kochvorgang beendet ist, schaltet das Gerät automatisch auf „Warmhalten“.
11. Lassen Sie den Deckel noch ca. 10 Minuten auf dem Topf, zum Nachgaren durch den Dampf.
12. Nehmen Sie den Deckel ab und rühren Sie den Reis um. Er ist nun fertig zum Verzehr. Verwenden
Sie keine scharfen Gegenstände im Topfinnern, weil die Antihaftbeschichtung dadurch beschädigt
werden kann.
13. Der Reis sollte innerhalb von einer Stunde gegessen werden. Vor dem Servieren lockern Sie den
Reis immer noch mal etwas auf. Die Warmhaltezeit sollte 2 Stunden nicht überschreiten.
14. Nach dem Gebrauch schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
15. Der Reiskocher ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät bei einer
eventuellen Überhitzung abschaltet. Um das Gerät wieder benutzen zu können, drücken Sie nach
einer kurzen Abkühlphase den Thermostatknopf wieder rein.
16. Benutzen Sie immer Schutzhandschuhe, wenn Sie den Topf aus dem Gerät nehmen.
17. Während des Kochvorgangs kann es bei einigen Reissorten passieren, dass mehr Dampf als
normal erzeugt wird. In einem solchen Fall heben Sie den Deckel an und lassen den Dampf
entweichen.
18. Erhitzen Sie keinen gekochten Reis.
REINIGUNG
Vor jeder Reinigung muss das Gerät vom Stromnetz getrennt werden!
Benutzen Sie niemals Wasser direkt oder einen Wasserstrahl, um das Gerät zu reinigen!
Tauchen Sie niemals das Gerät, das Kabel oder den Stecker in Wasser ein!
Reinigung ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und lassen das Gerät abkühlen.

Säubern Sie es von außen mit einem feuchten-warmen Tuch. Der Innentopf ist antihaftbeschichtet
und kann mit einem milden Spülmittel gesäubert werden. Wischen Sie mit einem trockenen Tuch
gründlich nach, um die Oberflächen zu trocknen.
Benutzen Sie keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel!
VERPACKUNGS-ENTSORGUNG
Die Verpackungsmaterialien bitte entsprechend trennen und den zuständigen
Sammelstellen zur Wiederverwertung und zur Umweltschonung zuführen.
GERÄTE-ENTSORGUNG
Hat das Gerät einmal ausgedient, dann entsorgen Sie dieses bitte ordnungsgemäß an
einer Sammelstelle für Elektrogeräte. Elektrogeräte gehören nicht in den Hausmüll.
Über Adressen und Öffnungszeiten von Sammelstellen informiert Sie Ihre zuständige
Verwaltung. Nur so ist es sichergestellt, dass Altgeräte fachgerecht entsorgt und
verwertet werden. Vielen Dank!

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

•Ensure that the unit is placed on a stable, horizontal surface and not in the vicinity of gas or electric
ovens etc. Do not use the appliance outdoors!

•To avoid burns, keep the appliance out of reach of children.
•Never clean the appliance by hosing it down or placing it in water. Before cleaning, unplug the appliance
and let it cool down. Clean the outside of the appliance with a warm, damp cloth. The inner pot is non-
stick and can be cleaned with a mild detergent.
•Do not move the appliance while it is in use.
•Do not switch on the appliance when it is empty.
•Do not let the mains cable hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot objects and open flames.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Before using the appliance for the first time, clean it with a warm, damp cloth and the cooking pot
with a mild detergent.
2. Before putting the product to be cooked into the inner pot, wash it carefully a few times with fresh
water and let the water drip off. If you do not do this, it may affect the quality of the product and
lead to a build-up of water vapor.
3. Use the measuring cup for the desired quantity, e.g. one measuring cup of rice is sufficient for one
person.
4. Now fill the rice or vegetables into the pot.
5. Place the cooking pot in the appliance. First check whether there is any rice or similar on the outer
surface of the pot, which must be removed.
6. Now add water according to the mark, e.g. for 4 cups of rice up to the mark 4 (do not exceed the
maximum mark).
7. Put the lid on the rice cooker.
8. Plug-in the appliance. After this, the keep warm function is immediately in operation.
9. Switch on the appliance for cooking. The indicator light lights up to show that the cooking process
is in operation.
10. As soon as the cooking process is finished, the appliance automatically switches to 'Keep warm'.
11. Leave the lid on the pan for about 10 minutes to allow the steam to cook.
12. Remove the lid and stir the rice. It is now ready to eat. Do not use sharp objects inside the pot as
this may damage the non-stick coating.
13. The rice should be eaten within one hour. Always loosen the rice a little more before serving. The
keeping warm time should not exceed 2 hours.
14. After use, switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the socket.
15. The rice cooker is equipped with an overheating protection that switches off the appliance if it
overheats. To use the appliance again, press the thermostat knob back in after a short cool-down
period.
16. Always use protective gloves when removing the pan from the appliance.
17. During the cooking process, some types of rice may produce more steam than normal. In such a
case, lift the lid and let the steam escape.

CLEANING
Before any cleaning, the appliance must be disconnected from the mains!
Never use water directly or a water jet to clean the appliance!
Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plug in water!
Unplug the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool down.
Clean the outside of the appliance with a warm, damp cloth. The inner pot is non-stick and can be
cleaned with a mild detergent. Wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth to dry the surfaces.
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents!
PACKAGING DISPOSAL
Please separate the packaging materials accordingly and take them to the responsible
collection points for recycling and environmental protection.
APPLIANCE DISPOSAL
Once the appliance has reached the end of its service life, please dispose of it properly
at a collection point for electrical appliances. Electrical appliances do not belong in
household waste. Your local administration will inform you about the addresses and
opening hours of collection points. This is the only way to ensure that old appliances
are disposed of and recycled properly. Thank you very much!
