INTRODUCTION
TIM
TIM is a 600W (350 +125+125) analog amplication system consisting of a compact active subwoofer and
two passive satellites. The former Pocket 1 system has been re-engineered for professional use, featuring
an enhanced design and several new control features, such as a mono/stereo switch, for greater exibility.
The subwoofer is constructed using BJT technology, incorporating a linear power supply for excellent bass
response and efcient stereo effect. Sub levels can be adjusted from -7dB to +2dB. Each satellite contains
a passive crossover featuring a custom coil.
Easy to transport and set up in live performance situations, TIM is ideal for use with acoustic instruments
and in jazz or DJ sets. The system also forms a highly efcient compact PA for use in small to medium
sized venues such as piano bars, gyms, conference rooms or ballrooms.
Insulated padded bags can be separately purchased for the system components, ensuring safe
transportation and storage. TIM is available in wood or anthracite grey nishes.
TOM
TOM is a 1000W (500+250+250) analog amplication system consisting of a compact active subwoofer
and two passive satellites. The former Pocket 2 system has been re-engineered for professional use,
featuring an enhanced design and several new control features, such as a mono/stereo switch, for greater
exibility. The subwoofer is constructed using BJT technology, incorporating a linear power supply for
excellent bass response and efcient stereo effect. Sub levels can be adjusted from -7dB to +2dB. Each
satellite contains a passive crossover featuring a custom coil.
TOM has been specically developed for use in medium to large sized indoor and outdoor venues, providing
powerful coverage for a range of mobile sound reinforcement applications. Easy to transport and set up,
the system is also highly effective for live performance situations, proving ideal for acoustic instrument
amplication.
Insulated padded bags can be separately purchased for the system components, ensuring safe
transportation and storage. TOM is available in wood or anthracite grey nishes
PRACTICAL ADVICE
When you are using an amplied speaker, one of the most important recommendations is to avoid at all
costs a distorted input signal.
In other words, when you are controlling the sound on your mixer (or any other preamplier), you must
avoid reaching saturation level.
In the case of amplied speakers, the arrival of a distorted signal (square wave) may damage the internal
amplier beyond repair, which may in turn damage the loudspeakers.
Correct use of speakers guarantees their long life.

1.8 MONO/STEREO SWITCH
If two TIM/TOM’s are used together, this switch must be set to the MONO position in order to receive only
one signal from the mixer (left or right main output, connected to LEFT input) and send it to both satellites.
If only one TIM/TOM is used, this switch must be set to the STEREO position in order to receive both left
and right signals from the mixer and send each signal to the relevant satellite.
