Schlage HandPunch 4000-S User manual

Customers can now purchase the popular HandPunch
4000 (HP-4000-S) with an integrated handheld laser
barcode scanner facilitating shop floor data collection.
HP-4000 with Hand Held Barcode Scanner Product Description
•The HP-4000-S is an extension of the popular HP-4000 that
includes an integrated handheld barcode scanner. In addition
to being a fully functional and feature rich time and attendance
terminal, the HP-4000-S now provides the additional versatility
of a job costing and job-tracking device.
•The HP-4000-S has added circuitry to enable the use of a
scanner. Scanners cannot be added to a standard HP-4000.
•The HP-4000-S cannot be purchased without a scanner.
HH-LAST Hand Held Barcode Scanner Option for HP-4000-S
The laser scanner plugs directly into the HP-4000-S drawing
power from the HandReader, so there are no extra wires or
power supply. Handheld Scanners will be configured to read
code 3 of 9 (code 39) and interleaved 2 of 5 (l - 2 of 5) formats.
Up to 10 digits are used for the ID number and up to 8 digits
for data entry values (accessed through function key menus).
