Basic Function
Figure2–EliteCaféSchematic
The drinks supplied by the Elite Café 400 are made with a combination of powdered ingredients and hot water dosed
into a whipper assembly, which mixes them rapidly and dispenses them into a cup on the outside of the Elite Café.
The water is heated inside the Elite Café by means of a boiler, which keeps a supply of water at a constant
temperature of 80-97° C.
The drink is dispensed immediately after pressing a selection button.
The Elite Café has a permanent water connection to replenish the water level and maintain readiness for the next
drink.
Proper maintenance of the Elite Café components insures that drinks are made to the highest quality standard.
Installation
Your Elite Café 400 should be located on a sturdy, flat surface and away from any heating device. Do not locate the
Elite Café 400 near appliances emitting magnetic fields as this can affect the proper electrical function of the Elite
Café.
NOTE: A minimum of 6 inches is required for clearance in the back and sides of the Elite Café.
The Elite Café should be leveled with the use of 4 leg levelers provided on the base corners (Figure 3) and be placed
in a horizontal position.

Rev. 04.2012 Page 7
Figure 3 – Leg Levelers

high water pressure. Check for any water leakage either at the connecting point or any other internal point within the
Elite Café.
For use with the pump and filter assembly, connect the water supply using a ½ inch OD and ¼ inch ID pipe. Check
for any water leakage either at the connecting point or any other internal point within the Elite Café.
