

algúnmotivo,hayunafugadelrefrigerante.
Elpersonalnoautorizadonodebeaccedernuncaalsistemaderefrigeración.
Altransportareinstalarlaunidad,asegúresedenodañarningunapartedelsistemadetubos.
Sisedañaalgúntuboyseproduceunafuga,evitecualquierfuentedeigniciónollamascercadelaunidad,
yventilelahabitacióndeinmediato.
Paraevitarlaformacióndemezclasdegas/aireinflamablesencasodeunafugadelsistemade
refrigeración,lahabitacióndondesecoloquelaunidaddebetenerunvolumenequivalentea1m3porcada
8gr.derefrigeranteenelequipo.

Lasaberturasdeventilaciónnuncadebencubrirsenibloquearse.
Nuncatengaelequipoconectadoalacorrientedurantelalimpiezaodescongelación,paraevitar
cortocircuitosenelsistemaeléctrico.
Nocoloqueningúndispositivoeléctricodentrodelcongelador.
Losproductosquecontienengasesinflamablesy/oexplosivosnodebenalmacenarseenelcongelador.
Todaslasunidadesdebenrecibirinstruccionesdeinstalaciónydefuncionamiento.Ademásdelainstalación
conlosespacioslibres,lasinstruccionesdebencontenerlasinstruccionesylainformaciónqueelfabricante
considerenecesariasparalainstalación,elmantenimientoyelusodelrefrigerador.
Lasinstruccionesdeinstalaciónydefuncionamientodebenveniracompañadasdeadvertenciasde
precauciónrelacionadasconlamanipulación,elmovimientoyelusodelrefrigeradorocongeladorpara
evitardañareltuboderefrigeranteoaumentarelriesgodefugas.
Elembalajedelrefrigeradorconunrefrigeranteinflamabledebemarcarsecomo"Precaución:riesgode
incendiooexplosióndebidoalusoderefrigeranteinflamable.Sigacuidadosamentelasinstruccionesde
manejodeconformidadconlasregulacionesdelgobierno".Tambiéntienequeaparecerelsiguienteicono
deadvertencia.




Lasinstruccionesdeinstalaciónyfuncionamientodebenindicarqueloscomponentesdañadosdeben
reemplazarseconcomponentessimilaresyqueelserviciodebeserrealizadoporpersonaldeservicio
técnicoautorizado,afindeminimizarelriesgodeposibleignicióndebidoapiezasincorrectasounservicio
incorrecto.


INSTRUCTIONESDEUSUARIO
Paraobtenerunbeneficioóptimodesucongelador,leadetenidamentelassiguientesinstruccionesyactúe
enconsecuencia.Esteequipoesunarcóncongeladorquepermiteteneralmacenadasmuestras,
preparacionesmédicas(vacunas,plasmasanguíneo,etc.)yotrosproductosbiológicos,deformasegura
contraposiblespérdidas.Incluyeunsistemabasadoengeleutéctico,quetienelapropiedaddemantener
latemperaturapordebajodelos‐20ºCduranteunlargoperiododetiempo.
1.Protecciónambientalyeliminación
Elembalajeestádiseñadoparaprotegerelequipoysuscomponentesduranteeltransporte,yestáhecho
dematerialesreciclables.
•Deshágasedelembalajeenunpuntoderecogidaoficialparasureciclaje.
•Losequiposviejoscontienenmaterialesreutilizablesydebenreciclarse.
•Retirelasbisagrasderesortedelaparatoparaevitarquelosniñossehagandañoconelequipo.
•Asegúresedequeningunapartedeltuboderefrigeraciónestédañadayaquepodríahaberfugasdel
refrigerantealmedioambiente.
•Encontraráinformaciónsobreeltipoylacantidadderefrigeranteenlaplacadecaracterísticasenlaparte
posteriordelaparato.
2.Instruccionesdeseguridad
•Paraevitarlesionesydañosalequipo,debendesembalarloyconfigurarlomínimodospersonas.
•Sialdesembalarloobservaqueelequipoestádeteriorado,noloconectealaredeléctrica.Póngaseen
contactoconJ.P.Selectainmediatamente.
•Lasreparacionesdelequiposolodebenserrealizadasporpersonalautorizado,paraevitarlesiones
(póngaseencontactoconelserviciotécnicodeJPSelecta).
•Nuncacoloquefuegouotrafuentedeignicióndentrodelequipo.
•Nuncatoqueelinteriorolosproductosenelcongeladorcuandoesteestéfuncionando.Useguanteso
similaresparaevitarlesiones(congelación).
•Mantengalallavedelequipolejosenlugarseguroyfueradelalcancedelosniños.
3.Conexiónalaredeléctrica
•Porrazonesdeseguridad,elequipodebeestarconectadoatierra.Sitienealgunaduda,comuníquesecon
elserviciotécnico.
•Elequipodebeesperarunas5horasantesdeserconectadoalaredeléctrica.Siseconectaantes,existe
elriesgodedañarelcompresor.
•Siporalgúnmotivoelaparatoestádesconectadodelaredeléctrica,espere10minutosantesdevolvera
conectarlo.
Eldispositivodearranqueelectróniconecesitaestetiempoparaenfriarse,antesdepoderrealizarun
reinicioseguro.
4.Antesdesuuso
•Antesdesuuso,debelimpiarseelinteriordelequipoconunasolucióndejabónsuave,conunpañoseco


ylimpio.Nuncauseningúntipodedisolventeuotrosquímicos
5.Preparandoelcongelador
Elcongeladornodebecolocarsedondepuedasalpicarleagua,encondicionesdehumedad
extremadamentealtaobajolaluzsolardirecta.Cualquieradeestosfactorespuedellevaraunareducción
enelrendimientoyacortarlavidaútildeloscomponentes.Elcongeladordebecolocarseenunnivel
horizontalynodebecolocarsecercadeunaparatootubosdecalefacción.
Dejeunespaciomínimode50mmenellateralylaparteposterior.Elladoconlarejilladeventilacióndebe
tenerunespaciolibredealmenos100mmparapermitirquesedisipeelcalordelmotordelcompresor.
Debajodelequipo,debehaberunespaciode15mmaprox.Enunasuperficieblanda,p.alfombra,puede
sernecesarioasegurarladistanciacorrectamedianteespaciadores.
6.Suministroeléctrico
Elsuministroeléctricosiempredebecoincidirconlaplacadecaracterísticasenlaparteposteriordel
congelador.
Elsuministrosiempredebecumplirlaleyylasregulacionessobreseguridadeléctrica.
Sitienealgunaduda,contacteasuproveedor.
7.Inicio
Encasodequeelcompresornoarranquecuandosehayaenchufadoelcongelador,esposiblequenohaya
suministroeléctrico.Compruébeloosielfusibleestáfundido.
8.Funcionamientodelcongelador
Elcongeladorvacíodebeestarencendidodurantealmenos24horasantesdecargarlo.
Elcongeladornodebecargarseporencimadelasparedesinteriores,queindicaellímitedelalíneadecarga.
Nota:Unavezabiertalatapa,secrearáunvacíodentrodelcongeladordebidoalasbajastemperaturas.
Espereunosminutosantesdeintentarvolveraabrirla;delocontrario,lamanetapodríaromperse.
ElsistemadealmacenamientoenelcongeladorsebasaenunmaterialPCM.Paragarantizarunbuen
resultado,manténgalocongeladodurantemuchotiempo(1semana).Tengacuidadoconsusmuestrasantes
decargarlas.
9.Descongelación
Paraqueelcongeladorfuncioneasumáximaeficiencia,lacámaradebedescongelarsecuandosehaya
formadounacapadehielodeaproximadamente2mmdeespesorenelinteriordelequipo.Mantengael
congeladorapagadodurantebastantetiempoconlatapaabierta,hastaquesedescongeledeltodo.
Nuncauseunobjetometálicoafiladopararetirarelhielo,yaquepodríadañarelrevestimientointerior.
Lafrecuenciadedescongelaciónvienedeterminadaprincipalmentepordosfactores:elpatróndeuso
(númerodeaberturasdelatapa)ylahumedadrelativa.
Sepuededrenarelexcesodeaguausandolasalidadeaguadedrenajeenlapartefrontaldelcongelador.
10.Limpieza
Lalimpiezadeberealizarsecuandoseconsiderenecesario.
Cuandoseutilizaenunambientesucio,puedesernecesarioquitarlarejilladelcompresorylimpiarlocon
unaaspiradora.


Sisedescuidaelprocesodelimpieza,existeelriesgodequeelrendimientodelcongeladorsevea
afectado,einclusopodríanproducirsedañosenelcompresordebidoalsobrecalentamiento.
11.Almacenamiento
Sielcongeladorseguardaynoseutilizaduranteunperíododetiempo,latapadeberápermanecerabierta
paraquecirculeelairedentrodelacámarayasíevitarlacorrosióndelrevestimientointerior.
12.Controldetemperatura
Latemperaturadentrodelcongeladorsecontrolamedianteelcontroladorelectrónicoubicadoenlaparrilla
delantera.
Elcontroladortieneunalecturadigitaldelatemperaturadentrodelacámaraylaopcióndecambiarla
temperaturadedentro.
13.ControladorDixell

Paraobtenerinstruccionesmásdetalladasdelcontrolador,consulteeldocumentoadjuntoalfinaldeeste
manual.
14.Funciones
Cómoverelpuntodeajuste:
1. PulseysuelteinmediatamentelateclaSET,lapantallamostraráelvalordelpuntodeajuste
2. PulseysuelteinmediatamentelateclaSEToespere5segundosparamostrarnuevamenteelvalorde
lasonda.

Cómobloquearydesbloquearelteclado:
1.PulselasteclasArribayAbajosimultáneamentedurantemásde3segundos.

Cómocambiarelpuntodeajuste:
1. PulselateclaSETdurantemásde3segundosparacambiarelvalordelpuntodeajuste.
2. SemostraráelvalordelpuntodeajusteyelLEDcomenzaráaparpadear.
3. Paracambiarelvalordelpuntodeajuste,pulselaflechahaciaArribaohaciaAbajo.
4. Paramemorizarlanuevaconfiguración,pulselateclaSETnuevamenteoespere15segundosparaque
elcontroladorvuelvaalapantallanormaldelatemperaturadelasonda.
15.Establecerelvalordecompensacióndeloscontroladores
Elcongeladorestádiseñadoparaunalmacenamientoseguroyprolongadodeproductosalimenticios
sensibles.Tambiénseusaparaotrasaplicacionescomoenlaboratoriosparadiferentespruebasdebaja
temperatura.
Dependiendodelasituaciónreal,puedesernecesariocambiarelvalordecompensacióndelos
controladoresparaobtenerunacorrespondenciaentrelalecturaenlapantallaylatemperaturarealdentro
delacámara.


Eloffsetsepuedeajustardelasiguientemanera:
Desbloqueeelteclado.EntreenelmododeprogramaciónpulsandolasteclasSETylasflechashaciaAbajo
durante3segundos.Seleccioneelparámetro"Ot"presionandolaflechahaciaArribaohaciaAbajo.
PresionelateclaSETparamostrarsuvalor.UselaflechahaciaArribaohaciaAbajoparacambiarlo.Eloffset
sepuedeajustara+/‐12ºC.
PulseSETparaalmacenarelnuevovaloryacontinuaciónpulseSET+flechaArribaoespere15segundossin
presionarningunatecla.Elnuevovalorquedaráguardado.
ParaobtenerinformaciónmásdetalladasobrelaprogramacióndeloscontroladoresDixell,consulteel
manualadjunto(añadidoalfinaldeestemanual).
16.Solucióndeproblemas
Elaparatonoestáfuncionando.Verifiquelossiguientespuntosantesdellamaralserviciotécnico:
¿Estáelenchufeeléctricoconectadoalaredeléctrica(tomadecorriente)?¿Sehafundidoelfusible?
Elaparatofuncionadeformacontinua.Compruebesi:
¿Latemperaturaambienteesdemasiadoalta?¿Sehacargadorecientementeelaparatoconunagran
cantidaddeproductoscalientes?
Latemperaturadentrodelequipoesdemasiadoalta.Porfavor,compruebesi:
¿ElcontroladorDixellestáconfiguradoalatemperaturacorrecta?¿Sehaformadounacantidadexcesivade
hielodentrodelequipo?
Sihaverificadolospuntosanterioresyelequiposiguesinfuncionarcomoseesperaba,póngaseencontacto
conelserviciotécnico.

Nointenteperforaroaccederdeotramaneraalinteriordelcongeladoryaqueexisteelriesgodedañarel
sistemadetubosdeloscongeladoresyprovocarunafugadegasesinflamables.

SAFETYINFORMATIONS

Thefreezerscontainsenvironmentallyfriendlybutflammablerefrigerants.Itmeansdangerofexplosionif
foranyreasontherefrigerantsescapefromthesystem.
Therefrigerationsystemmustneverbeaccessedbyunauthorizedpersonal.
Whentransportingandinstallingtheunit,ensurethatnopartofthetubingsystemisdamaged.
Ifthetubingisdamagedandleakoccurs,avoidanyignitionsourcesandnakedflamesneartheunit,and
ventilatetheroomimmediately.
Inordertoavoidformationofflammablegas/airmixturesincaseofaleakfromtherefrigerationsystem,the
roomwheretheunitisplacedmusthaveavolumeequivalentto1m3per8grofrefrigerantinthecabinet.
WARNING!!!
Theventilationopeningsmustneverbecoveredorblocked.
Neveruseastreamorwatercleaningdeviceduringcleaningordefrostinginordertoavoidshortcircuitsin
theelectricalsystem.
Donotplaceanyelectricaldevicesinthefreezer.
Productscontainingflammablegassesandexplosivesmustnotbestoredinthefreezer.
Allunitsshouldbeprovidedwithinstallationandoperatinginstructions.InadditiontotheClearances
Installation,theinstructionsshouldcontainsuchdirectionsandinformationthatthemanufacturer
considersnecessaryforinstallation,maintenance,anduseoftherefrigerator.
Installationandoperatinginstructionsshouldbeprovidedwithcautionarystatementsconcerningthe
handling,moving,anduseoftherefrigeratororfreezertoavoideitherdamagingtherefrigeranttubing,or
increasingtheriskofaleak.
Theshippingcartonofarefrigeratororfreezerthatemploysaflammablerefrigerantshouldbemarked
"Caution‐RiskofFireorExplosionduetoFlammableRefrigerantUsed.FollowHandlingInstructions
CarefullyinCompliancewiththeGovernmentRegulations".Thewarningmarkingshouldalsoappearonthe
shippingcarton,seebelow.




Theinstallationandoperatinginstructionsshouldindicatethatcomponentpartsshallbereplacedwithlike
componentsandthatservicingshallbedonebyfactoryauthorizedservicepersonnel,soastominimizethe
riskofpossibleignitionduetoincorrectpartsorimproperservice.



USERINSTRUCTIONS
Togetthebestbenefitfromyourfreezer,pleasereadthefollowinginstructionscarefullyandact
accordingly.Thisequipmentisafreezerchestthatallowsyoutohavestoredsamples,medicalpreparations
(vaccines,bloodplasma,etc.)andotherbiologicalproducts,safelyagainstpossiblelosses.Itincludesa
systembasedoneutecticgel,whichhasthepropertyofkeepingthetemperaturebelow‐20ºCforalong
periodoftime.
1.Environmentalprotectionanddisposal
Thepackagingisdesignedtoprotecttheapplianceanditscomponentsduringtransportation,anditismade
ofrecyclablematerials.
•Pleasereturnthepackagingtoanofficialcollectionpointforrecycling.
•Oldappliancescontainreusablematerialsandshouldnotbedisposedoftogetherwithhouseholdrefuse.
•Removethespring‐actionhingesfromtheappliance,inordertopreventchildrenfrombeingentrapped
intheappliance.
•Ensurethatnopartoftherefrigerationtubingisdamagedastherefrigerantintheappliancerisksescaping
totheenvironment.
•Informationaboutrefrigeranttypeandamountwillbefoundonthetypeplateontherearoftheappliance
(Fig.1).
2.Safetyinstructions
•Inordertopreventinjuriesand/ordamagetotheappliance,itshouldbeunpackedandsetupbymin.

•Ifuponunpackingtheapplianceisfounddamaged,donotconnecttothemains,butcontactthesupplier.
•Interferencewithorrepairtotheapplianceshouldonlybecarriedoutbyauthorizedpersonnel,inorderto
avoidanyinjuries(Contactthesupplierforfurtherinformation)
•Neverputnakedflamesorotherignitionsourcesinsidetheappliance.
•Nevertouchthefreezersinteriororproductsinthefreezerwhenthefreezerisoperating.Useglovesor
alikeinordertoavoidinjuries(frostbite).
•Keepthekeytotheapplianceawayfromtheapplianceandoutofthereachofchildren.
3.Connectiontothemains
•Forsafetyreasonstheappliancemustbeearthed.Ifyouareinanydoubt,pleasecontactanauthorized
electrician.
•Theapplianceshouldbeleftfor5hoursbeforeitisconnectedtothemains.Iftheapplianceisconnected
beforethat,thereisariskofdamagingthecompressor.
•Ifforanyreasontheapplianceisdisconnectedfromthemains,pleasewait10minutesbeforere‐
connecting.
Theelectronicstartingdeviceneedsthistimetocooldown,beforeasafere‐startcanbemade.
4.Beforeuse
•Beforeuse,theinterioroftheapplianceshouldbecleanedwithamildsoapsolution,andwipedoffwitha


drycleancloth.Neveruseanykindofsolventorotherchemicals
5.Settingupthefreezer
Thefreezershouldnotbeplacedwhereitmightbesplashedwithwater,inextremehighhumidityorin
directsunlight.Anyofthesefactorsmayleadtoareductioninperformanceandshortenthelifespanofthe
components.Thefreezershouldbeplacedonahorizontallevel,andshouldnotbeplacedclosetoaheating
applianceorheatingtubes.
Allowaminimumof50mmclearanceonthesideandtheback.Thesidewiththeventilationgrillshould
haveaclearanceofatleast100mminordertoallowtheheatfromthecompressormotortodissipate.
Underneaththeappliance,theseshouldbeagapof15mmapprox.Onasoftsurface,e.g.carpet,itmaybe
necessarytoensurethecorrectdistancebymeansofspacers.
6.Electricalsupply
Theelectricalsupplyshouldalwaysbeinaccordancewiththeratingplateonthebackofthefreezer.
Thesupplymustalwaysbeinaccordancewiththelawandregulationsregardingelectricalsafety.
Ifanydoubts,contactyoursupplier.

7.StartingUp
Incasethecompressordoesnotstartwhenthefreezerhasbeenpluggedin,theelectricalsupplymaynot
beinorder.Checkifthereisanelectricitysupplytotheplugorifthefuseisblown.

8.Operatingthefreezer
Theemptyfreezershouldbeswitchedonforatleast24hourspriortoloadingofthefreezer.
Thefreezershouldnotbeloadedabovetheinsidewallswhichisalsotheloadlinelimit.
Pleasenote:Afterthelidhasbeenopened,therewillbeavacuumcreatedinsidethefreezerduetothelow
temperatures.Waitafewminutesbeforetryingtore‐openthelidotherwisethehandlecouldbedamaged.
ThefreezestoragesystemisbasedonaPCMmaterial,toensurethecorrectresponsekeepitfreezedfora
longtime(1week).Takecareaboutyoursamplesbeforetoloadin.
9.Defrosting
Inorderforthefreezertoworktoitsmaximumefficiencythecabinetshouldbedefrostedwhenanapprox.
2mmthickicelayerhasformedinsidethecabinet.Keepthefreezeroffforalongtimewiththelidopen.
Neveruseasharpmetalobject,whichmightwillcausedamagetotheinnerliner.
Thedefrostingfrequencyisdeterminedmainlybytwofactorstheusagepattern(numberoflidopenings)
andtherelativehumidity.
Excesswatercanbedrainedoutbyusingthedrainwateroutletonthefrontofthefreezer.
10.Cleaning
Cleaningshouldbedonewhenneeded.
Whenusedinadirtyenvironmentitmightbenecessarytoremovethecompressorcompartmentgrill,and
cleanthecompressorcompartmenteventuallywithavacuumcleaner.
Ifthecleaningprocessisneglected,thereisariskthattheperformanceofthefreezerwillbeeffected,and
evendamagetothecompressorcouldoccurduetooverheating.
