INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
1) Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y comprobar
que el contenido coincide con lo indicado en el apartado de la
“Lista de embalaje”. Si se observa algún componente dañado o
la ausencia de alguno, avisar rápidamente al distribuidor.
2) No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previamente, este ma-
nual de instrucciones.
3) Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable del equipo y
deben estar disponibles a todos los usuarios.
4) Cualquier duda puede ser aclarada contactando con el servicio
técnico de J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
5) ¡ATENCIÓN! NO SE ADMITIRÁ NINGUNA MÁQUINA PARA
REPARAR QUE NO ESTÉ DEBIDAMENTE LIMPIA Y DESIN-
FECTADA.
6) Toda modicación, eliminación o falta de mantenimiento de
cualquier dispositivo de la máquina, transgrede la directiva de
utilización 89/655/CEE y el fabricante no se hace responsable
de los daños que pudieran derivarse.
7) No utilizar el equipo con uidos que puedan desprender vapores
o formar mezclas explosivas o inamables.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Los armarios refrigeradores MEDILOW XS, están diseñados para
trabajar con temperaturas regulables desde +2ºC hasta +8ºC con
una estabilidad de ±1,25%. Están especialmente indicados para
la conservación de muestras, incubación, cosmética, botánica,
alimentación, etc...
El mueble exterior está recubierto en epoxi, mientras que el recinto
interior está moldeado en ABS, resistente y de fácil limpieza.
En el interior del recinto hay una turbina para la circulación de aire,
y un grupo compresor hermético y sin vibraciones. En el lateral
del armario se encuentra un oricio para entrada de conexiones,
sondas,...
Los soportes pie delanteros son regulables en altura para conse-
guir una perfecta nivelación.
TRANSPORTE Y ALMACENAMIENTO
Mantenga la unidad en posición vertical cuando la transporte, el
ángulo con respecto a la línea horizontal no debe superar los 50º,
de lo contrario, dañará el compresor y afectará el funcionamiento
normal de la empresa.
La unidad debe colocarse sobre un suelo sólido y rme, retire la
parte inferior del paquete para disminuir el impacto y el ruido. Deje
al menos unos 20 cm de distancia entre la parte posterior de la
unidad y la pared para una buena ventilación y deje un espacio
con un ángulo abierto de 160º para la puerta.
Mantenga la unidad alejada de fuentes de calor y evite la luz
solar directa.
Nunca coloque la unidad en un lugar donde el agua pueda al-
canzarla o muy húmedo. El agua salpicada y la suciedad deben
limpiarse rápidamente utilizando un paño suave. No coloque la
unidad en un ambiente lo sucientemente frío como para que se
congele.
Ajuste la altura con los cuatro pies ajustables.

¡ATENCIÓN! IMPORTANTE PARA SU SEGURIDAD
Asegúrese que el equipo se conecta a una tensión de red
que coincide con la indicada en la placa de características.
No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma de tierra.
Si cambia la clavija de enchufe tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
Cable azul: Neutro.
Cable marron: Fase.
Cable amarillo/erde: Tierra.
PREPARACIÓN
Retire la caja y la espuma del embalaje (incluida la espuma in-
ferior) antes de usar el equipo. Limpie la unidad antes de usarla.
Ajuste los pies para que la unidad se estabilice según las condi-
ciones del suelo para reducir el ruido.
Después de mover la unidad, déjela parada durante unos 30
minutos antes de encenderla.
En marcha: cierre la puerta y conecte la alimentación, encienda
el interruptor de la luz situado en la parte posterior del equipo.
La temperatura debe ser adecuada para el uso normal pasada
media hora. Una vez conectada la alimentación, la unidad debe
mantenerse vacía durante una hora.
CONFIGURACIÓN Y AJUSTES DE TEMPE-
RATURA
Ajuste la temperatura de almacenamiento a través del controlador
de temperatura ubicado en la parte posterior del equipo. Ajuste
la temperatura según la temperatura ambiente y el producto a
almacenar.
El equipo dispone de un mando ajustable para la temperatura,
que va de 1 a 5. Ajuste la temperatura de almacenamiento giran-
do el mando de temperatura en sentido horario. El 5 muestra la
temperatura de almacenamiento más baja. El mando puede girar
libremente pero no se puede girar en el sentido de las agujas del
reloj del 5 a 1. El equipo viene ajustado de fábrica al 3.
Verique si el mando se encuentra en la posición apropiada antes
de usar el equipo. El ajuste frecuente no es apropiado cuando se
use el equipo. Normalmente, en verano, la temperatura ambiente
es alta, de manera que giraremos el mando en sentido antihorario
hasta 5; mientras que en invierno la temperatura ambiente es
baja, por lo tanto giraremos el mando hacia la derecha hasta el 1.
La posición 0 signica parar el equipo.

ALMACENAMIENTO DE PRODUCTOS
No coloque demasiados productos a la vez en el equipo, debe
dejar algo de espacio alrededor del producto para que el aire
frío pueda uir dentro de la cámara. Mantenga los artículos em-
botellados lejos de las paredes del interior de la cámara para no
congelarlos ya que podrían romperse.
Se pueden ajustar los estantes según las diferentes necesidades.
No coloque productos calientes directamente en el equipo hasta
que se enfríen a temperatura normal, para evitar reducir el
consumo de energía y prolongar la vida útil del compresor.
MANTENIMIENTO
Desconecte la fuente de alimentación antes de realizar el
mantenimiento de la máquina.
Mantenga limpia la junta de la puerta, retírela de la puerta y lá-
vela. Seque y séllela como antes. Poner un poco de talco en la
supercie magnética para prolongar su vida útil.
Sustitución de la luz: retire la cubierta superior, extraiga la bombilla,
reemplácela por una nueva y vuelva a montarla. La potencia de la
bombilla es de 6W y el voltaje es Ac220V / 50Hz o AC110V / 60Hz.
Si hay mucho hielo en el evaporador después de un uso prolon-
gado, saque las cosas de dentro de la cámara, desconecte la
alimentación, automáticamente la escarcha se derretirá. Limpie
el agua y conecte nuevamente la alimentación.
Para limpiar la unidad, use un paño suave y mójelo con un poco de
agua y jabón (o con un detergente neutro, no cáustico). Séquela
después de limpiarla para evitar la oxidación.
No utilice líquidos orgánicos, ni agua de depósito, detergente en
polvo o que contenga ácido para limpiar la unidad. No utilice un
cepillo duro o de acero para limpiar el equipo.
Si no va a utilizar el equipo durante un período prolongado de
tiempo, desconéctelo de la alimentación, límpielo siguiendo los
pasos anteriores, y seque el agua del interior de la cámara con
un paño suave.

almacenamiento del equipo.
- Está prohibido desmontar la unidad por personal no profe-
sional, puede ser peligro.

PRECAUCIONES
Este equipo no es apropiado para el almacenamiento de sangre,
productos farmacéuticos y productos biológicos.
No coloque artículos pesados encima de la unidad.
En caso de problemas, solicite asistencia a un profesional, no
desmonte la unidad sin autorización previa para evitar riesgos.
FENÓMENOS NORMALES
Si oye un ligero sonido de agua que uye en la unidad, es el sonido
del refrigerante que uye dentro de la tubería.
El compresor, el condensador y la parte de la unidad cercana a
la puerta podrían estar calientes o demasiado calientes.
En un lugar con humedad, se puede crear escarcha en la carcasa
o en la puerta. Séquela con un paño seco.
GARANTÍA
Este producto tiene una garantía de un año. La garantía no cubre
los daños causados por un uso indebido o por causas ajenas a
J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
Cualquier manipulación del equipo por personal no autorizado
por J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u., anula automáticamente los benecios
de la garantía.

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
MEDILOW XS refrigeration cabinets are designed to work with
adjustable temperatures from +2ºC to +8ºC with a stability of
±1.25%. They are especially indicated for samples conservation,
incubation, cosmetics, botany, food, etc ...
The cabinet is epoxy coating while the inside is molded in ABS,
durable and easy to clean.
Inside the cabinet there is a turbine for air circulation, and a her-
metic and vibration-free compressor group. On the cabinet side
there is a hole for connections, probes, ...
Front foot supports are adjustable in height to achieve a perfect
leveling.
TRANSPORTATION & STORAGE
Keep the unit upright when moving, the angle to the horizontal line
must not exceed 50°, otherwise, it will damage the compressor
and affect the normal operation of the business.
The unit should be placed on a solid and rm oor, remove the
lower part of the package to reduce the impact and noise. Allow
at least 20cm distance between the back of the unit and the wall
for a good ventilation and leave a space with an open angle of
160° for the door.
Keep the unit away from heat sources and avoid direct sunlight.
Never place the unit in a place where water can reach it or which
be very humid. Splashed water and dirt should be cleaned quickly
using a soft cloth. Do not place the unit in an environment cold
enough to freeze.
Adjust height with the four adjustable feet.

CAUTION!!! IMPORTANT FOR YOUR SAFETY
Be sure that the voltage supply is the same as the one indicated
on the characteristic plate of the equipment.
Do not use the equipment if it is NOT earthed.
If you have to change the plug bear in mind the following:
Blue cable: Neutral.
Brown cable: Phase.
Yellow/green cable: Earth.
PREPARATION
Remove the box and the packaging foam (including the bottom
foam) before using the equipment. Clean the unit before use.
Adjust the feet so that the unit stabilizes according to the ground
conditions to reduce noise.
After moving the unit, let it stand for about 30 minutes before
turning it on.
Running: close the door and turn on the power, turn on the light
switch at the back. The temperature should be adequate for normal
use after half an hour. Once the power is turned on, the unit must
remain empty for one hour.
CONFIGURATION & TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
Adjust the storage temperature through the temperature controller
located at the back of the unit. Adjust the temperature according
to the ambient temperature and the product to be stored.
The equipment has an adjustable control for the temperature,
which ranges from 1 to 5. Set the storage temperature by turning
the temperature knob clockwise. 5 shows the lowest storage
temperature. The knob can rotate freely but cannot be turned
clockwise from 5 to 1. The unit is factory set to 3.
Check if the knob is in the proper position before using the equi-
pment. Frequent setting is not appropriate when using the equi-
pment. Normally, in summer, the ambient temperature is high, so
we will turn the knob counterclockwise to 5; while in winter the
ambient temperature is low, therefore we will turn the control to
the right until 1.
0 position means stop the equipment.

PRODUCTS STORAGE
Do not put too many products at the same time in the equipment,
you should leave some space around the products so that cold air
can ow into the chamber. Keep bottled items away from the inside
walls of the chamber so they do not freeze as they might break.
Shelves can be adjusted according to different needs.
Do not place hot products directly on the equipment until it
cools down to normal temperature, to avoid reducing the power
consumption and prolonging life of the compressor.
MAINTENANCE
Disconnect power supply before performing maintenance
on the machine.
Keep the door seal clean, remove it from the door and wash it.
Dry and seal as before. Put some talcum powder on the magnetic
surface to prolong its life.
Replacing the light: remove the upper cover, remove the bulb,
replace it with a new one and reassemble it all. Bulb power is 6W,
& voltage is AC220V/50Hz or AC110V/60Hz.
If there is a lot of ice in the evaporator after prolonged use, remove
things from inside the chamber, turn the power off, and automatica-
lly the frost will melt. Clean the water and turn the power on again.
To clean the unit, use a soft cloth and wipe it with a little soap and
water (or a neutral, non-caustic detergent). Dry it after cleaning
it to avoid oxidation.
Do not use organic liquids, reservoir water, detergent powder or
acid to clean the unit. Do not use a hard or steel brush to clean
the equipment.
If you are not going to use the equipment for an long period of
time, disconnect it from the power supply, clean it by following the
steps above, and dry the water inside the camera with a soft cloth.

- Keep the ventilation openings unobstructed, inside the appli-
ance or in the built-in structure.

ments of the equipment.
- It is forbidden to disassemble the unit by non-professional per-
sonnel, it can be dangerous.

PRECAUTIONS
This equipment is not suitable for blood storage neither for phar-
maceutical and biological products.
Do not place heavy items on top of the unit.
In case of problems, request assistance from a professional, do
not disassemble the unit without prior authorization to avoid risks.
ORDINARY PHENOMENA
If you hear a slight sound of water owing in the unit, it is the sound
of the coolant owing inside the pipe.
The compressor, the condenser and part of the unit near the door
might be hot or too hot.
In a place with humidity, frost may be formed on the housing or
on the door. Dry it with a dry cloth.
GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed for one year. The guarantee does not
cover damages caused by an incorrect use or causes beyond the
control of J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
Any manipulation of the equipment by unathorized personnel by
J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u. cancels the guarantee automatically.
