1. INSTALLATION MANUAL FOR TELESCOPIC SUPPORT PLUS
1. Open the awning
completely.
2. Remove the screw covers at
the ends of the front bar.
ATTENTION!
Not every type of awning has
covers for screws in the end
caps.
3. Unscrew the fastening
screws at both ends of the
front bar and remove the
end caps by pushing them
outside.
4. Unscrew the eyelet bracket
from the plate in order to
install the eyelet in the front
bar's guide rail.
Repeat the operation for the
second eyelet bracket.

5. Adjust the position of the
eyelet bracket in relation to
the arm bracket and tighten
the eyelet until resistance is
felt.
The recommended distance
from eyelet bracket to the
awning's arm should be
between 80÷120 mm.
6. Install and tighten the end
caps. Put on the screw covers.
7. Loosen the knob that locks the
support's telescope and
extend the upper part of it by
0.7 ÷ 1 m.
8. Insert the support's hook into
the eyelet bracket mounted to
the awning's front bar. Repeat
this step for the second
support.

9. Position the footplates and
lower down the telescopic
supports onto them.
10. Place the supports using a
spirit level.
ATTENTION!
The telescopic supports
must be placed vertically in
the longitudinal and
transverse planes.
11. Mark the location of the
footplate's mounting holes
and then drill holes for pins
or anchors fixing the support.
ATTENTION!
The maximum diameter of
the holes is 6.5 mm.
12. Screw the footplates to the
base.

1. Open the awning completely.
ATTENTION!
Awning with electric drive
should be secured against
accidental folding.
2. Loosen the knob that locks the
support's telescope and
extend the upper part of it by
0.7 ÷ 1 m.
3. Insert the support's hook into
the eyelet bracket mounted to
the awning's front bar. Repeat
this step for the second
support.
4. Mount the bottom part of the
telescope in the foot socket,
by pressing it and turning it by
90°, and then locking the
support by spring in the foot
socket. Then tighten the
telescope knob until
resistance is felt.

5. Disassembly of telescopic
support is done in reverse
order to the described points
1÷4.
3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE.
Telescopic support PLUS - designed to prevent movement of the awning in the vertical plane
caused by wind pressure on the awning cover. The height of the support is adjusted by a
telescopic connection of two elements: the upper and lower part. The upper part of the
telescope is attached with a hook to the eyelet bracket which is permanently fixed to the
awning's front bar. The lower part of telescope is plugged into the round foot which is
permanently mounted to the ground. Telescopic connection allows to adjust the height of the
support in the range of 145 ÷ 235 cm.
TELESCOPIC SUPPORT PLUS - produced by the company SELT Sp. z o. o. is intended to be
used with SELT awnings.

ATTENTION:
It is forbidden to close and open the awning with mounted supports, since it
can result in damaging the awning or the telescopic support.
The abovementioned action will void the warranty and liability for damages.
Telescopic support PLUS - designed for cooperation with awnings with manual drive, it may
be used with awnings with electric drive when the following conditions are met:
·The electric drive of the awning cannot be controlled by wind automation.
·The electric drive must be protected against accidental or automatic closing or
opening.
The telescopic support is designed for carrying safe compressive and tensile
load of 100 kg. For awnings of SELT Sp. z o.o. the load capacity is sufficient
provided that two telescopic supports are used.
