User Guide

Thank you for purchasing the Sharper Image Personal Sauna. Please read these
instructions prior to using this device for the first time. In addition, please store
this guide for future reference.
OVERVIEW
1. This sauna is not a medical device and cannot be used for medical purposes.
2. Check with a doctor prior to using this sauna.
3. Stop using this device immediately if you feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or sleepy.
4. Do not plug this device into a power source if it is folded.
5. Staying in the sauna for too long can cause overheating. It is recommended
that your sessions are limited to 30 minutes per day. Do not use the sauna
more than 3 times per week.
6. This device is not intended for children or anyone with impaired mental
capabilities.
7. Do not use the device within 24 hours of UV radiation exposure from artificial
sources like tanning beds.
8. Individuals who may be at risk for hyperthermia, or those suffering from
cardiovascular disease should consult with a doctor prior to using this device.

• Not recommended for anyone under the age of 18
• Do not use this device if you have respiratory problems
• Do not use this device if you have a heart condition
• Do not use this device if you have low blood pressure
• Do not use this device if you are pregnant
• Do not use this device if you have any skin disorders
• Do not drink alcohol while using this device

WARNING
• Unplug the power cord after each use
• Do not use this device around water due to the risk of electrical shock
• Keep the electrical cord away from heat sources
• Never operate this device if the cord or plug has been damaged
• Never pull on the electrical cord
• Any repairs must be performed by an authorized dealer or the manufacturer
• Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several
degrees above the normal body temperature of 98.6° F. Symptoms include: an increase
in the internal temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, and fainting.
Effects may include: failure to perceive heat, fetal damage in pregnant women, and
unconsciousness.

ASSEMBLY
Note: Do not keep/use sharp objects around this device, as this may result in damage.
1. Unfold both side walls of the sauna and stand it upright.
2. Close the zipper from the bottom of the back wall to the front end, then place the foot
mat with the glossy side facing up.
3. Place the folding chair near the rear part of the unit’s interior. It is now ready for use.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. After assembling the sauna, plug the power cord into the wall socket.
2. Use the remote control to set the desired time and temperature.
3. Pre-heat the sauna and foot mat for 5 minutes. Use of the foot mat depends on
personal preference.
4. Enjoy a soothing sauna session.
REMOTE CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Press ON/OFF to start the device. The indicator light will
turn on.
2. Press the foot key to heat the foot mat. The indicator light
will turn on.
3. Press the set key to set the temperature, then use the up
and down arrows to increase or decrease the temperature.
4. Press the set key again to set the time, then use the up and
down arrows to adjust the time.
5. The time of your session can be set anywhere from 0-60
minutes. You can increase/decrease the duration by
1-minute increments using the up and down arrows.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
• Dry the sauna after using it
• Open the zipper to ventilate the inside of the unit
• Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe off the unit, then fold it up and store it in a dry place.
No need to wash.
