– Always fill the washing mach ine with a maximum amount of laundry for
the relevant programme.
– Wash normally soiled laundry with outa prewash.
–Instead of Cottons/Coloureds 90 °C,select the Cottons/Coloureds 6 0 °C
programme and the additional jeco Perfect function.Comparable cleaning
result with significantly lower energy con sumption.
– Measure the detergent accordin g to the manufacturer's instructions an d water
hardness.
– If you want to dry thelaundry inthe tum ble dryer afterwards, select a spin speed
suggested by the dryer manufacturer.

ʔTo be operated with cold drinking water and commercially available
detergents and care products which are suitable f or use in washing
machines.

– The washing machine is not to beused by children or persons
not familiar with the operating instructions.
– Keep pets away from the washing machine.
Dilute thick fabric softener and conditioner with water.
This prevents blockages.

–To cool the laundry: select Rinse.
–Press Start/Reload.
Programmes at low temperatures:
–Select Spin or Drain.
–Press Start/Reload.
Change the programme if...
... you have selected the wrong program me by mistake:
– Reselect the programme.
–Press Start/Reload. The new programme starts from the beginning.

... Start/Reload is pressed and then bothof th e §+rsymbols are
lit in the displaypanel. If ǯislit, th e washing machine
door cannot be opened.

Individual settings
ʑOptions buttons
The spin speed and temperature can be changed before and during the se lected programme. The effects depend on
the programme progress.
ʑTemp. (Temperature)
You can change the displayed washing temperature. The maximum wash ing temperature that can be selected
depends on the programme that has been set.
ʑrpm (Spin speed) / c(R inse hold = no fi nal spin)
You can change the spin speed sh own or select c(Rinsehold = no f inal spin, laundry remains in the w ater after the
last rinse, ---appears in the display panel). Yo u can change the spin speed shown. The maximum selectable s pin
speed depends on the model and on whi ch programme is currently selected.
ʑFinish in
When you select theprogramme, the relevant progr. duration is displayed.You can delay the start of the programme be-
fore itbegins. The "Finished in" timecan be set in increments ofone hour up to a max. of 24hours. Press the Finish in
button repeatedly until the desired n umber of hours is displayed (h = ho ur). Press Start/Reload.

Residual moisture in the laundry is increased s lightly.
Extra Rinse Additional rinse cycle. For areas with very soft water or for further enhancing the w ashing result.
ʑChildlock

in the display panel
You can lock the washing machine to prevent thefunctions y ouh ave set from being changed
inadvertently.
ON/OFF: after the start/end of the programme, pressand hold Start/Reload for approx.
5 seconds.
Note: The childlock can remain activated until you wish to start the next programme, even after
switching off the machine.
Then you can deactivate the childlock before s tarting the programme and activate it again as
necessary once the programme has started.
Note:
–The ssymbolis lit: Childlock active.
–The ssymbolflashes: Childlock active and th en the programme selector is altered.
To prevent the programme from stopping, move the progr amme selector back to the original
programme, the ssymbol is lit again.
ʑAdd laundry
§+or
in the display panel
If you want to add additional items of laundry after the programme has s tarted, press the
Start/Reload button. The machine checks whethe r adding laundry is possible.
§+rare lit: Adding laundryis possible.
ǯflashing: Wait until §+rare lit.
Note: Only open the washing machine door w hen both the §+rsymbols are lit.
ǯ: It is not possible toadd laun dry.
Note: for safety reasons, the washing ma chine door remains locked when the water level
and/or temperature is high, or during spinning .
To continue the programme, press theSt art/Reload button.
ʑEnergy saving m ode
If the washing machine is switch ed on and is not operated for several mi nutes before the programme starts or
at the end of the programme, thedi splay panellig htgoes out and the Start/Re loadbutton flash es.
Press any button to turn the l ight back on.
All buttons are sensitive and need only
to be touched lightly. If you press and
hold the Finish in option bu tton, the
appliance automatically runs through
the settings options.

so that any residual water can dry a way.
