Mounting Kit for Meyer LEOPARD
FITTING GUIDE
P/N: 0300-0004-0001 V2.2
Thank you for purchasing the Mounting Kit for fitting the Prosight2 sender
unit to a Meyer LEOPARD line array bumper. Each kit comprises two
brackets for two arrays.
Follow the simple instructions over the page to attach sender units to the
bumper and remember to reset the angle for each one on the Prosight2
Meter unit before flying the arrays.
The full procedure for operating the units and setting angles is explained in
the Prosight2 User Guide.
Kit contents
Each mounting kit comprises:
2 x LEOPARD single piece steel brackets
2 x Prosight2 safety cords
4 x M4 8mm screws
8 x M4 1mm rubber washers
8 x M6 25mm countersunk set screws

IMPORTANT: To ensure the IP rating of the Prosight2
sender, use the rubber washers (provided) when
mounting the sender to the bracket

1) LEOPARD bracket
The LEOPARD mounting bracket is a
single piece steel fabrication. There are
four captive threads to attach the bracket
to the bumper and two screw holes for
mounting the sender on the bracket.
2) Attach the safety to sender unit
Remove the black screw top left on the
front of the laser unit, place the screw
through the eyelet of the safety cord and
reattach the screw with the cord in place
to the front of the sender unit.
3) Attach sender unit to the bracket
Position the sender unit and bracket as
pictured, (the bracket is symmetrical so
the orientation of the sender is not
critical) and attach using the two M4
8mm screws and four M4 1mm rubber
washers provided.
4) Position bracket on the bumper
Place the LEOPARD bumper on its front
edge and position the bracket and
Sender unit onto the bumper so it aligns
with the four screw holes and the laser
will fire through the hole in the front of
the bumper.

5) Attach bracket to bumper
Attach the bracket to the bumper using
the four M6 countersunk set screws
provided.
6) Attach safety cord to bumper
Wrap the safety cord around the bumper
and clip the carabiner back onto the cord
as shown in the picture.
7) Attach ethercon cable
Route the ethercon cable through the
bumper and connect to the socket on the
rear of the laser unit.
8) Reset the angle of sender unit
Attach the bumper to the first cabinet in
the array and with the cabinet level, reset
the angle so the Meter displays 0.0° (see
User Guide for full information).

Important Safety Information
▪Ensure all nuts and bolts are tight before flying the array.
▪The safety cord must be securely attached to the Prosight2 Sender unit
and the bumper at all times.
▪When lifting the array, ensure that the ethercon cable is free to move
and does not foul the cabinet or the rigging shackles.
▪Laser safety: Under no circumstances should you look directly at the
laser - always confirm that the laser unit aligns with the hole in the
bumper with the unit switched OFF and ensure that laser safety
procedures are followed by all crew members. Full details are available in
the Prosight2 User Guide.
