SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read this manual carefully before
use and keep it for future reference.
1. This appliance is intended for use by children 8 years of age and older
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe manner and
understand the potential hazards.
2. Children must not play with the device.
3. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children
without supervision.
4. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a
dangerous situation.
5. When lling or cleaning, unplug the appliance by pulling the plug out of
the outlet.
6. Pay attention when the appliance is in humidication mode, since it
produces water vapor.
7. The appliance is not intended for connection to water pipes.
8. Be aware that high humidity values can support the growth of biological
organisms in the environment.
9. Do not allow the area around the appliance to become damp. If this
happens, switch the appliance to lower power. If this is not possible, use
the appliance intermittently. Do not allow absorbent materials such as
carpets, curtains, drapes or tablecloths to become wet.
10. Never leave water in the tank when the appliance is not in use.
11. Empty and clean the water tank before storing the appliance. Clean it
before using the appliance again.
12. This appliance is designed to be free-standing. This appliance is not

13. Make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the outlet before
removing the protective grille.
14. Before connecting the plug to the outlet, make sure that the voltage in
your outlet corresponds to the voltage indicated on the type plate of the
appliance.
15. Only connect the appliance to a properly grounded outlet. Only connect
the appliance to easily accessible power outlets, so as to allow quick
unplugging if necessary.
16. Use the appliance only in accordance with the instructions given in this
instruction manual.
17. Install the power cable so that nobody can trip over it. Make sure the
power cord does not touch a hot surface. Do not bend or damage the
power cord or place heavy objects on it.
18. Do not touch the power cord, its plug or the appliance when it is
connected to the electrical outlet with wet hands.
19. The appliance is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. The
appliance is intended for domestic and personal workspace use.

25. Make sure before each use that the appliance is assembled correctly.
26. Do not use the appliance to store objects.
27. When not in use, switch off the appliance, unplug it and clean it
according to the instructions in this manual.
28. Unplug the appliance by pulling on the plug, not the cord. Otherwise, the
power cord or outlet may be damaged.
29. Do not use this appliance with a program, timer, remote control system
or any other component that switches the appliance on automatically.
30. Make sure that the fan inside the appliance turns freely when the
appliance is in operation.
31. Do not insert any objects or ngers, hands, hair or loose clothing into or
near the inlets or outlets of the appliance. It could catch on the internal
fan and result in injury or damage to the appliance or property.
32. The appliance is equipped with castors. Handle it carefully to avoid it
rolling off stairs, inclines etc. To prevent the appliance from tipping over,
do not try to run the wheels over the carpet, threshold, etc.
33. Take extra care when children move around the appliance, especially
when it is turned on.
34. Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the outlet

41. Do not use the appliance if it is not functioning properly, appears
damaged or had been immersed in water. Do not repair the appliance
yourself. The appliance contains no user-repairable parts. There is a risk
of injury from electric shock. Have all repairs and adjustments to this
appliance carried out by an authorized service centre.
42. The appliance's remote control uses a battery to power it. Do not swallow
the battery. There is a risk of chemical burns, even in a very short time,
which can lead to death. If a swallowing of battery is suspected, seek
medical attention immediately.
43. Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
44. Dispose of used batteries in an environmentally friendly manner.
45. The manufacturer declines any liability for damage caused by improper
use or failure to follow the instructions in this manual. Improper use or

INSTALLATION
Selecting a Spot
Place the appliance on a at, dry and stable surface within reach of a properly ground-
ed electrical outlet. Install the power cable so that nobody can trip over it. Make sure
the power cord does not touch a hot surface. Do not bend or damage the power cord
or place heavy objects on it. The socket should remain accessible to allow easy unplug-
ging later on.
To ensure adequate air circulation, provide clearance of at least 30 cm all around the
appliance.
Make sure the appliance is not in direct sunlight, near open ame or other heat sourc-
es.
Do not cover the appliance; do not block the intake and exhaust vents.
Castors
The appliance is equipped with castors for ease of handling. Before moving the appli-
ance, always check it is unplugged.
Handle the appliance carefully to avoid it rolling off stairs, inclines etc. To prevent the
appliance from tipping over, do not try to run the wheels over the carpet, threshold,
etc.
USE
Before First Use
1. Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging. Before disposing
of the packaging, be sure to remove all components. Check the appliance and
accessories for damage.

2. Remove all protective foils from the appliance and its accessories.
3. Remove the water tank and wash it in warm water with some dish detergent to
clean it and remove any odor. Rinse, wipe dry, and return the tank to the appliance.
4. The water lter may be packed from the factory. Unpack it before using the
appliance. Remove the grille, then remove the water lter. Unpack the water lter,
then replace it. Attach the grille – see Figure A.
Warning:
Do not power on the appliance when the water lter is in its packaging or
absent. Doing so risks permanent damage to the appliance, as well as a
hazardous operating situation.
5. Wipe the outside of the appliance with a soft sponge slightly dampened in warm
water. Wipe dry.
6. To use the remote control, remove the protective lm from the battery
compartment. It protects the battery from discharge and damage during
transport.
Power On / Off
Before each power-on, make sure the appliance is properly assembled. If you will be
using the cooler / humidier mode, also make sure there is water in the tank.
1. Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet. The appliance will
chime, then go to standby mode.
2. Short-press to power on the appliance. The appliance will chime, then power up
with default settings.
Default settings:
• Operating mode: Normal
• Fan speed: Low (starts in Medium for about 3 seconds, then switches to Low) The
Low speed indicator light is on.
• The Power indicator light is on.
3. When not using the appliance, press to set it to standby mode. To power down
completely, unplug the appliance.
Setting the Fan Speed
Press to set fan speed. Repeatedly press to switch fan speed in order to: Low
- Medium - High . The indicator light of the selected speed setting will light up
with each keypress.
Operating Mode Selection
Press to select operating mode. Repeatedly press to cycle between the modes:
Normal – Natural Airow - Sleep .
Each time you press, the corresponding indicator light turns on on the display, except
for normal mode, which has no indicator light on the display. Each of the operating
modes has a preset cycle of airow and fan speed.
Normal mode
Press to set fan speed. The appliance will maintain it throughout the normal mode.
Natural Airow
In this mode, the air ow rate is controlled automatically. The fan speed is gradually
reduced until the fan stops for a short time, and then the fan speed is slowly increased
to achieve a natural airow effect.
The indicator light will come on.

Sleep mode
It is a combination of natural airow mode and gradual reduction of speed, which
prevents the unpleasant feeling of airow at high speed during sleep.
Select the initial fan speed (see section "Setting the fan speed"). The appliance will
gradually lower fan speed on a predened program.
The indicator will come on, together with the indicator for the selected starting fan
speed. As the fan speed setting changes, so will the active speed indicator light.
Initial fan speed The course of sleep mode
High speed The appliance will run in normal mode for 30 minutes at high
fan speed. After 30 minutes, the high fan speed switches to
medium speed. In another 30 minutes, the fan speed will be
reduced to a low level. The appliance will then keep running at
low fan speed.
Medium speed The appliance will run in normal mode for 30 minutes at
medium fan speed. After 30 minutes, the medium fan speed
switches to low speed. The appliance will then keep running at
low fan speed.
Low speed The appliance will run in normal mode at low fan speed.
Air Humidier / Cooler Mode
To use the cooler / humidier feature, rst ll the tank with water.
Warning:
To avoid damaging the appliance, do not use cooler / humidier mode
with a dry tank.
1. Make sure the appliance is off and unplugged.
2. Turn the locks at the back of the appliance to horizontal, then carefully remove the
water tank – see Figure A.
3. Pour cold and clean water into the tank. Always follow the MIN (minimum amount
of water) and MAX (maximum amount of water) lines when lling the tank.
Warning:
Never ll the tank above the MAX line. Water could spill into the appliance
and damage it.
4. Insert the water tank into the appliance and return the locks to vertical.
5. To increase cooling efciency, keep the supplied coolant packs in the freezer
overnight, then put them in the water tank.
Warning:
Under no circumstances should you open, disassemble or otherwise dam-
age the cooling containers. The liquid in the containers is not intended for
consumption. If the container is opened and the contents are consumed,
seek professional medical attention immediately.
6. Plug the appliance into the mains, then press to power on.
7. Press to activate cooler / humidier mode. The humidier indicator light will
come on. The appliance checks for water in the tank, then starts cooler / humidier
mode. The water check may take a few seconds. Then the pump starts, which
pumps water into the internal system. You may hear the pump sound regularly
during operation. This is a normal occurrence.

8. Press to set fan speed.
9. To deactivate cooler / humidier mode, press . The humidier indicator light will
turn off.
10. When low water level is detected in the tank, the pump switches off automatically,
the appliance chimes 5 times, and the humidier indicator light begins ashing.
The chiming and ashing will continue until the tank is relled. To ll the tank,
follow steps 1 – 4 above.
Warning:
Before removing and lling the water tank, always check the appliance is
switched off and unplugged from the mains.
11. Once the tank is relled, power on the appliance, then press to activate cooler /
humidier mode.
Auto-Shutdown Timer
This function allows you to set the time for which the appliance will be in operation
and after which it will switch off automatically.
1. First select the operating mode and fan speed - see the previous section.
2. Press ; the 1h indicator light will come on. Repeatedly press to set the timer
to between 1 and 7 hours. With each keypress, the set time will be indicated by
one or a combination of lights, as follows: 1h; 2h; 1h+2h; 4h; 1h+4h; 2h+4h; 1h+2h+4h.
Pressing the key again after reaching 7h will cancel the timer; the indicator lights
will turn off.
3. Wait a few seconds for the setting to be saved and the countdown to begin. The
indicator light combinations will change to show the time remaining on the
countdown. For example, if the timer was set to 2 hours, the 2h indicator light will
light up initially, but will be replaced by the 1h indicator when 1 hour is left on the
clock.
4. Once the set time has elapsed, the appliance will automatically switch to standby
mode.
To cancel a set timer, repeatedly press until all indicator lights are off.
Horizontal Oscillation
Press to start horizontal oscillation of the exhaust slats. The exhaust slat oscillation
indicator light will come on.
Press again to stop oscillation. The exhaust slat oscillation indicator light will turn
off.
Control Panel Backlight
The control panel backlight goes to 30% brightness after 1 minute of inactivity. Press
any key to restore full brightness.
Press on the remote to reduce control panel backlight brightness. Press again to
restore full brightness.
Other Features
Settings Retention
The appliance will retain its settings when turned off, even unplugged. Once plugged
back in and powered up, the appliance will retain its most recent settings, except for
Sleep mode and the timer.
The fan will start at medium speed for about 3 seconds, then switch to low speed.

Water Level Check
Within 10 seconds of power-up, long-press for 3 seconds. The appliance will sound
two long chimes and activate the quick water level check and low water level protec-
tion feature. If the water level is adequate, press , then .
If low water level is detected, a short chime will sound about 5 seconds later. Rell the
tank.
Press to turn off the water level check feature.
Using the Remote
The buttons on the remote control correspond to the buttons on the control panel.
The remote can be used instead of the control panel to perform any of the cong-
uration tasks described above.
The remote control is supplied with inserted batteries from the manufacturer. To use
the remote control, remove the protective lm from the battery compartment. It pro-
tects the battery from discharge and damage during transport.
If you want to use the remote control, point it to the signal receiver on the appliance.
The maximum range of signal sent from the remote control is 6 m. If obstacles are
located between the remote control and the appliance, the signal cannot be transmit-
ted.
If the inserted battery is empty it needs to be replaced by the same type. Proceed as
follows:
1. Slide the cover with the battery compartment from the bottom of the remote
control.
2. Remove the depleted battery and insert a new 3V CR2032 battery. Observe correct
polarity when inserting a battery.
3. Insert cover with the compartment back into the remote control.
If you will not use the remote control for a long time, we recommend removing the
battery. If the battery leaks into the interior of the remote control, it could damage it.
Warning:
Never put batteries in re, short circuit or damage them in any way. After
the end of their lifetime, discard them in environmentally friendly man-
ner. Never dispose of batteries in household waste.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before any cleaning or maintenance, always power down the appliance, unplug it from
the mains, and allow it to cool down completely.
Warning:
Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug of the power
cord in water or any other liquid.
Do not use plastic or metal scrapers, harsh cleaners, chemicals, petrol, solvents or
other similar substances to clean any parts of the appliance. The surface nish could
be seriously damaged.
Outer surface
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a cloth slightly dampened in warm water and
wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Water tank
Empty the water tank and rinse with clean water after use. At least once a month,
clean the water tank with a cloth dampened in lukewarm water with a little kitchen
detergent to remove calcium deposits and prevent the growth of unwanted bacteria,
microorganisms or fungi. Then rinse it thoroughly with clean water and dry with a
clean cloth.
Filter Cleaning
When the appliance is in use, dirt accumulates on the water and micro lters. This
negatively affects the operation of the appliance and reduces its efciency, and there-
fore must be cleaned regularly. The cleaning frequency depends on the frequency of
use of the appliance, however, we recommend cleaning these lters regularly at least
once a month.
Warning:
Before each lter cleaning, press to power off the appliance, then un-
plug it from the mains.
1. Press the release near the top of the grille, then carefully remove the grille. Remove
the water lter as seen in Figure A.
2. The microlter is integrated with its grille and cannot be removed from it. Use a
wet sponge with warm water and some neutral detergent to clean dust and dirt
off the microlter and its grille. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. You may instead clean
with a vacuum cleaner on low power using a brush attachment.
3. Soak the water lter in water with some neutral detergent. Then squeeze gently by
hand. Leave out to dry.
Warning:
Do not dry the water lter with a hair or clothes drier, in direct sunlight or
an oven. Only return the water lter into the appliance when completely
dry.
4. Return the dry water lter into the appliance. Always check the lter is completely
dry before inserting it.
5. Attach the grille rst by its lower latches, then press on its upper part until it clicks
home. The grille is then securely attached.

Long-Term Storage
Before storing, make sure that the appliance and its accessories are cool and clean.
Store the appliance and its accessories in a dry and well-ventilated place out of the
reach of children or pets. Do not place any objects on the appliance.
Remove batteries from the remote control.

Electrical safety provided by double or reinforced insulation.
Battery disposal
Batteries contain materials harmful to the environment. Do not dispose of
batteries in a regular community waste. Dispose of used batteries properly at
collection points.

21. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit einem hohen Staubgehalt
oder einer hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit, wie z.B. in Waschküchen oder
Badezimmern, in industriellen Umgebungen usw.
22. Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht Hitze, offenen Flammen, Wärmequellen
oder direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht
in Bereichen, in denen Benzin, Farbe oder andere brennbare Stoffe
gelagert werden.
23. Decken Sie das Gerät nicht ab. Es besteht die Gefahr von Überhitzung
und Beschädigung.
24. Um einen Stromschlag zu vermeiden, sollten Sie das Gerät, das
Netzkabel und den Stecker nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten
tauchen.

25. Vergewissern Sie sich vor jedem Gebrauch, dass das Gerät richtig
zusammengebaut ist.
26. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht zur Aufbewahrung von Gegenständen.
27. Wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen, schalten Sie es aus, ziehen Sie
den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und reinigen Sie es gemäß den
Anweisungen in dieser Anleitung.
28. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, indem Sie am Stecker
ziehen, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel. Andernfalls kann es zu Schäden am
Netzkabel oder an der Steckdose kommen.
29. Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät nicht mit einem Programm, einer
Zeitschaltuhr, einer Fernbedienung oder einer anderen Komponente, die
das Gerät automatisch schaltet.
30. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich das Gebläse im Inneren des Geräts frei
dreht, wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist.
31. Stecken Sie keine Gegenstände, Finger, Hände, Haare oder lose
Kleidungsstücke in die Ein- und Auslassöffnungen des Geräts oder in
deren Nähe. Diese könnten vom internen Gebläse erfasst werden, was zu
Verletzungen oder Schäden am Gerät oder Eigentum führen könnte.
32. Das Gerät verfügt über Räder. Seien Sie bei der Handhabung mit dem
Gerät besonders vorsichtig, damit es z.B. nicht von einer Treppe fällt
oder von einer schrägen Fläche fährt. Um ein Umkippen des Geräts
zu vermeiden, versuchen Sie nicht, mit den Rädern über Teppiche,
Schwellen usw. zu fahren.
33. Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig, wenn sich Kinder in der Nähe des Geräts
aufhalten, insbesondere wenn es eingeschaltet ist.
34. Schalten Sie das Gerät immer aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose, wenn Sie es nicht benutzen oder unbeaufsichtigt lassen,
bevor Sie es reinigen, zerlegen, zusammenbauen oder routinemäßig
warten.
35. Halten Sie das Gerät sauber. Überprüfen Sie es regelmäßig.
36. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht ohne ordnungsgemäß installierte Filter.
37. Füllen Sie immer nur sauberes, kaltes Wasser in den Wassertank.
38. Bewegen, lagern oder transportieren Sie das Gerät nicht in vertikaler
Position.
39. Versuchen Sie nicht, die äußere Verkleidung des Geräts zu entfernen.
40. Wenn Sie während des Gebrauchs einen unangenehmen Geruch oder
Geräusche wahrnehmen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Wenden Sie sich an eine autorisierte
Kundendienststelle.
41. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn es nicht richtig funktioniert,
beschädigt ist oder ins Wasser gefallen ist. Reparieren Sie das Gerät
nicht selbst. Es enthält keine Teile, die vom Benutzer repariert werden
können. Es besteht die Gefahr eines Stromschlags. Lassen Sie alle
Reparaturen und Einstellungen an diesem Gerät von einem autorisierten
Servicecenter durchführen.
42. Die Fernbedienung des Geräts wird mit einer Batterie betrieben.
Verschlucken Sie die Batterie nicht. Es besteht die Gefahr einer
chemischen Vergiftung, auch innerhalb kürzester Zeit, die zum Tod

führen kann. Bei Verdacht auf Verschlucken der Batterie ist sofort ein
Arzt aufzusuchen.
43. Bewahren Sie die Batterien außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
44. Entsorgen Sie verbrauchte Batterien auf umweltfreundliche Weise.
45. Der Hersteller trägt keine Verantwortung für Schäden, die auf eine
falsche Anwendung oder die Nichtbeachtung der in dieser Anleitung
angeführten Anweisungen zurückzuführen sind. Unsachgemäßer
Gebrauch oder Nichtbeachtung der Anweisungen führen zum Erlöschen
der Garantie.
