7.1 Rules To Observe When Connecting Gas
1- Hob
2- Hose End
3- Hose
4- Clamp
5- Oven
nGas (Lpg and natural gas) connection must be made by tech-
nical service.
nIf you use the gas hose as plastic type, make sure it conforms
to the TSE standard "TS_EN_14800".
nEnsure that the gas hose does not touch the hob above.
nIf you are using a flush type oven under the hob, make sure
that the gas hose does not touch the oven below.
nGas hose should not be pulled, bent or twisted.
nGas hose should not touch sharp edges and corners.
nEnsure the gas hose and hose end's gas leak-tightness.
nGas hose should be changed at least once a year.
nThe total length of the gas hose should not be longer than 125
cm.
nAfter gas connection is done and leak tightness is achieved,
the hose must not be touched.
nIf your are making the natural gas connection with metal flex-
ible pipe, check for whether the collar is suitable; it must be
1/2.
nEnsure that the metal flexible pipe is TSE approved.
nUse a leak-tightness gasket in metal connection.
7.2 Connecting The Gas Hose
1- LPG connection end
2- Plastic hose (internal diameter max 8 mm)
Slide the clamp on the hose. Then make the hob connection with
the hose. Finally, tighten the clamp well using screwdriver (Fig. 9).
nRepeat the same operations with the other end of the hose and
perform the gas bottle connection.
nDefinitely check for leak-tightness.
nIf later you have to use your product with a gas type different
than the one it is set for, you have to apply to authorized
service for the conversion.

CAUTION!
LPG bottles should not be kept inside the
house.
Connecting Metal Flexible Pipe
1- Main gas pipe bend
2- Main gas pipe bend gasket
3- Gas pipe collar
CAUTION!
The flexible hose to be installed shall not come to
contact with the moving sections of the location
that is reserved for the unit (such as a drawer) or
shall not be installed through a section that may
cause clogging in the hose.
CAUTION!
When performing installation or gas conversion, fix
the main gas pipe with a second wrench. Take
care not to twist the main gas pipe (Fig. 11).
Your Hob Is Set For Natural Gas.
nYour natural gas utility must be prepared before placing your
hob.
nAt the end of your utility, there must be a flexible pipe that is
closed with a blind flange for natural gas connection.
nWhen the service is making the connection, they will remove
the blind flange and connect to your hob directly or using a
direct connection apparatus (coupling).
Natural gas valve must be in an easily accessible
location.
DANGER!
Do not use lighter or match fire to check the gas
leak.
Leak-tightness Check: Ensure that the knobs are
in off position and bottle / natural gas is not on
during the check. Foam up soap and apply the
foam to the connection end of the hose for gas
leak check. If there is a leak, the foam shall
bubble. If so, check the gas connection again.

8 GAS CONVERSION
8.1 Injector Change in Gas Hobs
The diameter of the injector used in your appliance is provided on
the injector in hundredths of millimetre. To change injectors:
nRemove the hob grating and the hob burners.
nRemove the injector with a suitable socket wrench (Fig. 12)
and install the new injector suitable for the gas type to be used
in the appliance in its place.
nCheck gas leakproofness with foam after the injectors are
installed. To do this, apply foam to the bases of the injectors.
Press on the injector with your finger to prevent gas exit and
check whether bubbles form where the injector is connected.
The chart below provides the injector diameters to be used in con-
versions between gases.

Setting Low Flame Position
1- Idle Screw
For low flame position, the idle screw should be loosened during
conversion from LPG to natural gas. The same screw should be
tightened when converting from natural gas to LPG. Ensure that
the appliance is plugged in, the gas feed is on, and hob cooker and
cap adapters are in place. Ignite the hobs and bring them into low
flame position. Remove the knobs by pulling. The idle screw is
located on the tap body ( Fig. 13/1 ). Tighten/loosen the screw
using a small flat screwdriver. This enables the flame of the hob to
increase or decrease in low flame position. Tighten/loosen the
screw so that the flame length is 4 mm.
1 - Small burner should be turned 1/4 (quarter) turn in clockwise
direction.
2 - Middle burner should be turned 1/4 (quarter) turn in clockwise
direction.
3 - Large burner should be turned 1/2 (quarter) turn in clockwise
direction.
Replace the knob and ensure that the burner does not turn off
when it is adjusted from full flame to low flame in a time frame of
one second. Repeat the process above for each hob.
