
nPlace the pan on the centre of the burner.
nDo not leave your product to run on its own, check it regularly.
Safety for Children
nThe open parts of the product shall get warm while it is in use
and after it is used; children should be kept away.
nDo not put objects that children may reach on the appliance.
nKeep packaging materials like nylon and Styrofoam from
places children can reach due to safety reasons; otherwise
they may be dangerous.
CAUTION!
If you do not want to use your appliance any more,
unplug the appliance and disconnect the electrical
contact and the gas connection. Unused devices
pose a safety risk for children. Thus, keep the
appliance away from places that children can
reach.
Safety in Gas Works
nAll kinds of operations to be performed on gas equipment and
systems must be performed by authorized service.
nBefore installation, check that the local distribution conditions
(gas type and pressure) conform to the product settings.
nProduct must be installed and connected according to the
installation regulations in force.
nVentilation requirements must be paid special attention.
nGas products and systems should be checked regularly for cor-
rect operation. Please have annual maintenance performed.
nClean the gas hob burners regularly. Flames should be blue
and burn properly.
nGas should burn well in gas products. If there is not enough
gas burn, Carbon monoxide (CO) may be formed. Carbon
monoxide is a colourless, odourless and very toxic gas; even
small amounts have lethal effect.
nAsk your local gas supplies about the phone numbers for
emergencies related to gas and the measures to be taken
upon smelling gas.
CAUTION!
When a gas cooking appliance is used;
humidity, heat and burning products are gener-
ated in the room. Make sure that the kitchen is
well ventilated while the appliance is in use.
Preserve natural ventilation holes or have a
mechanical ventilation equipment (kitchen
hood, extractor) installed. Long term intense
use of the appliance may require extra ventila-
tion, for example, opening a window, or a better
ventilation, such as increasing the mechanical
ventilation level.
