INSTALLATION ADVICE
It is very important to use suitable cables to connect Desiderio to your
system. We advice you to connect the negative pole to a good ground on the car chassis as
close to the amp as possible. Connect the positive pole directly to the battery. We suggest
you use at least 1 AWG good quality OFC power cables.
Internally there is no link between the two amplifiers. This means that both 12 V
and GND terminals must be connected to the power supply externally.
The REM (Remote) input must be connected to the remote output of the source,
which must provide at least a 60 mA current, for every installed Sinfoni unit.

Connecting Loudspeakers
The suggested speaker impedance for this amplifier is 4 Ohm, but this amplifier
is fearless of a lower impedance. Connecting a 2 Ohm load or 1 Ohm load does not
represent a problem.
Suitable ventilation must be provided, as well as an adequate power supply
cable, due to the strong impulsive current, ranging between 80A and 120 A.
The input load is 47 Kohms and its sensitivity is adjustable from 400 mV
peak - peak (150 mV RMS) to 8 V peak - peak (2.8 V RMS), therefore it perfectly
matches any source, including those that provide a 4 V pre out (1.4 V RMS).
The input level can be regulated by rotating the input L & R potentiometers with a
common screwdriver.
Please notice that this device is also equipped with a Balanced input.
Inputs
Mono Input
The mono input is achieved only through the balanced inputs by using the RCA
to XLR adapter cable provided with the amplifier. A mono connection, using the RCA
inputs is not possible.
For bridged installations -L must be connected to -R, the +R becomes the
negative pole to connect to the subwoofer.

Lights and Protections
The coloured leds, placed on the front panel give precise information on the type
of fault or problem the amplifier has encountered.
The orange (ERROR) led turns on every time a fault or a problem is found. In addition
to the ERROR led another one will turn on indicating the status of the amplifier.
Red - Overheat The thermal protection prevents the amplifier from exceeding
90°C, in case of over-heating normal operations may continue
only after a temperature decrease of 10°C.
Yellow - Speaker If one of the two amplifying stages should, for any reason, have
a failure, the amplifier will interrupt the output signal to prevent
damage to connected speakers. If this error should appear
technical support is needed.
Green-Overload The overload protection is able to detect if the load impedance
connected at the output is too low. Only if the load is correct the
amplifer will resume normal operations.
On the top, just behind the Plexiglas cover, you can find two fuses (80A each)
easy to reach by carefully removing the screws holding the Plexiglas. A fuse blowing is
to be considered an unlikely event, due only to a serious failure, possibly caused by an
improper use of the amplifier.
