Introduction
Resonance 2.0 S ARGB DDC Reservoir Combo
The SC Resonance 2.0 S ARGB DDC Reservoir Combo is a pump reservoir combo distribution plate
designed for small to medium water-cooling loops. It comes included with an integrated DDC
pump top. It is 120mm in height and width meaning that it is designed to be mounted onto a
120mm radiator, but it is also a good fit on a 140mm, 240mm or 280mm radiator. It is generally
designed for SFF or compact mid tower case builds. The standard mounting orientation is side
mounted so that the distribution plate is in full view with the pump facing towards the back. The
distribution plate comes with a satin black cover which can be removed if more transparency is
desired. It has a single inlet and outlet and a fill port. The lighting is ARGB addressable and is
compatible with any motherboard or controller. The back plate is universal for mounting onto
120mm or 140mm wide radiators, fans or fan mounting positions. The pump top is compatible
with all DDC pumps.
Resonance 2.0 M ARGB D5 Reservoir Combo
The SC Resonance 2.0 M ARGB D5 Reservoir Combo is a pump reservoir combo distribution plate
designed for medium to large water-cooling loops. It comes included with a D5 pump top and
retention ring, a DDC pump top is available separately. It is 240mm in height meaning that it is
designed to be mounted onto a 240mm radiator but is also a good fit on a 280mm, 360mm or
420mm radiator. It is generally designed for compact mid tower or full tower case builds. The
standard mounting orientation is side mounted so that the distribution plate is in full view with
the pump facing towards the back. The distribution plate comes with a satin black cover which
can be removed if more transparency is desired. It has a single inlet and outlet and a fill and drain
port. The lighting is ARGB addressable and is compatible with any motherboard or controller. The
back plate is universal for mounting onto 120mm or 140mm wide radiators, fans or fan mounting
positions. The pump top and retention ring are compatible with all D5 pumps including the Aqua
Computer D5 Next.

Step 1
Compatible with any DDC Pump. First dismantle your DDC pump by undoing the 4 bolts from
underneath and remove the standard DDC pump top. After market DDC pump covers are available
from other brands. Mount the DDC pump using the included 25mm M4 x4 Fasteners. Use the O-
ring which is included with your DDC pump. The O-Ring needs to sit in the O-ring groove which is
on the DDC pump casing surrounding the impeller. Do not over tighten the fasteners. We
recommend air pressure testing all water-cooling loops prior to filling.

Step 2
Attach the Universal Back Plates to the edge of the Distribution Plate using the included 2x M4
10mm Countersunk Fasteners. Mount onto any 120mm or 140mm wide radiator, fans or fan
mounting position. The standard mounting orientation is side mounted, but it can also be flat
mounted. Flat mounting with the included fasteners is limited to radiator mounting locations
which have a large enough cut out for the pump to fit through (because the ports are opposite
the pump).
For flat mounting onto radiators or fans not all the fasteners are included because different
radiator brands use 3 different fastener thread types M3, M4 and 6-32. Fastener length also
depends on if you will mount Resonance directly to a radiator or with fans in between or to a
radiator or fan mounting location. For other mounting methods aside from the standard side
mounting the customer will need to source the necessary fasteners. Spacers may also be needed
depending on the configuration to allow space for the fittings or the pump depending which way
you will face the distribution plate.

Step 1
Compatible with any D5 pump including the Aqua Computer D5 Next. First install the O-Ring into
the O-ring groove in the pump top. Then install your D5 pump into the D5 pump top using the
included Retention Ring. While installing the pump make sure the O-Ring stays in position in the
O-Ring groove otherwise it can leak, this can be done by maintaining pressure with the pump onto
the O-Ring while tightening the Retention Ring. Tighten the Retention Ring firmly.

Optional Cover Removal
If more transparency is desired the Satin Black cover can be removed by undoing the x6 M4 x
8mm Fasteners from the front of the Distribution Plate.

Lighting
An ARGB LED strip comes pre-installed. This can be connected to any 5V ARGB output connector
on any motherboard or controller. The cable is 50cm long.
