-to allow other hose diameters, cut o the nipples of the
universal hose connector as illustrated
-for optimal results use a hose with a diameter of 32
mm (1 1/4") and with a length as short as possible (be
aware that after switching o remaining water in the
hose will the residual water depth)
-when using a 32 mm (1 1/4") or a 25 mm (1") hose, we
recommend to fasten it with an additional hose clamp
Operating the appliance 6
-place the pump on a rm surface in the water to be
transferred (or use a rope attached to carrying handle
C to immerse the pump in a well or shaft)
!
-air may escape through air bleed valve E and air
bubbles may appear underwater
-it may take several seconds for the air to escape when
the pump is immersed for the rst time
-wait until the air bubbles have disappeared
-plug power cable F into a mains socket
!
Automatic mode 6
-oat switch D automatically turns on the pump when
the water level exceeds the switch-on height
-oat switch D turns o the pump again when the water
level drops below the switch-o height
Adjusting switch-ON and switch-OFF height 6
-push oat switch cable G into cable holder H
-the shorter the length of the cable between oat switch
D and cable holder H, the lower the switch-ON height
and the higher the switch-OFF height
!
Manual mode 7
-switch on the pump manually by raising oat switch D
-be aware that water level must be above 30-40 mm
(0805) / 70-80 mm (0810) to ensure that the pump
can draw in water
-x/hold oat switch D vertically above the pump
!
-the minimal residual water depth (approx. 5 mm 0805
/ 35 mm 0810) can only be achieved in manual mode,
because the oat switch already switches o the pump
in an earlier stage when in automatic mode
-observe the pump at all times during manual mode
!
Thermal protection
-the built-in thermal protection switches o the motor in
the event of overheating
-after a cooling-down phase of approximately 15-30
minutes, the pump switches on automatically
