Polyurethane wheels do not perform well
on wet surfaces. Polyurethane loses
traction on most wet surfaces it is
therefore not recommended to skate in
wet conditions.
SKORPIONS have been designed primarily
for use on flat dry surfaces. Skating on
any sloping surface should be carried
out exercising extreme caution. Children
should be supervised by an adult.
Do not exceed the 176lbs/80kg (small),
large 264lbs/120kg (large) weight
restrictions for your SKORPIONS size.
Always inspect your SKORPIONS before
each skate and make sure all wheels,
axle mounts, footplate nuts, and brakes
are securely fastened.
This owner’s manual is designed to help
you make the most of your SKORPIONS.
Instructions and warnings have been
carefully prepared to make your
experience as safe and enjoyable as
possible. Use common sense while skating
and enjoy your SKORPIONS.
Read and understand the maintenance
and safety sections of the owner’s manual
before skating. Always follow the
instructions and pay attention to all
warnings.
Always wear proper safety equipment
when skating including an ANSI, SNELL,
ASTM or DIN EN 1078 approved helmet.
Use proper footwear and secure laces
on shoes before skating.
Under no circumstances
should anyone attempt
to use their new skates
or remove the sticker
from the footplate of
their skate before they
have read the warnings
and safety information.
Before using your skates you must read this
important warning and safety information.
When you have read these instructions
remove the warning sticker located on
the footplate of one of your new skates.
In removing the sticker you certify you
have read and will abide by the warnings
and safety information, furthermore you
acknowledge that skating carry’s a risk
of serious injury and therefore do so at
your own risk, waiving all rights of claim
against Skorpion Sports Ltd, it’s
employees, representatives and agents,
for such an occurrence.

Children should always be supervised by
an adult. It is the parent or guardians
responsibility to properly maintain and
inspect the SKORPIONS skates before
each skating session.
General Warnings
If you do not have the proper tools or find that you are unable
to understand the instructions please consult your local SKORPIONS
dealer.
Immediately stop skating if you suspect that any part of your
SKORPIONS is not functioning properly. Inspect your SKORPIONS
closely to confirm what the problem is. Contact your dealer
directly if you suspect that a malfunctioning or defective part is
affecting its safe performance.
Skaters performing in the SKORPIONS produced videos and photos
are highly skilled and specially trained professionals. Always
exercise extreme caution when attempting new moves and skate
within your limitations, failure to do so may result in loss of
control and or a fall which may cause serious injury.

Learning to skate couldn't be easier and more
fun with SKORPIONS. To help you along the way
we have produced a series of instructional videos
to take you from the basic skills of "Getting started"
and "Stopping" to "Turning" and then more
advanced skills such as "Slalom" and "Skating
Backwards".

Always exercise extreme caution when
you are skating in the proximity of other
vehicles, pedestrians and especially in
the proximity to cars if you are skating
on a street. Always obey the rules of the
road.

UsingYour SKORPIONS.
Size Adjustment. Adjust the skate to fit your footwear, ensure adjustment knob is firmly tightened.
Strap Fastening and Releasing. Only skate when both skates are securely fastened to your shoes.

Reverse process to
shorten
1. Read the warning and safety information. Watch instructional videos at www.skorpion.com/videos
2. Check the wheel nuts are firmly tightened.
3. Check that axle nuts are firmly tightened and brakes are securely fastened.
4. Adjust the skate to fit your footwear, ensure adjustment knob is firmly tightened.
5. Secure yourself firmly into the skate using the straps.
6. Always skate within your limits.
Fastening
1. With shoed foot in
skate, push strap
through slot from rear

Releasing
1. Press release tab, pull
strap in reverse
direction.
For some styles of shoe or boot you may need to lengthen the rear strap to ensure
a safe and secure fit
To lengthen
1. Identify the two rear
strap nut and
adjustment holes, on
the outside of footplate.
2. From inside footplate,
remove internal screw
from nut, using a
phillips screw driver.
3. With the nut now
free, remove from
adjustment hole.
4. Lift strap to align the
lower adjustment hole
and insert nut.
5. Tighten screw back
into nut.

Wheel and Bearing Replacement.
Please ensure that the axle nuts are firmly fastened before use.
Wheels
1. Loosen nut(a) and remove wheel.
2. Fit new wheel as shown in diagram.
3. Replace nut and tighten firmly taking care not to cross thread.

Replacing Brakes.
1. Unscrew and remove bolts(a) and plastic spacers(b).
2. Insert spacers(b) into new brake pads.
3. Position brake pads onto axle mount(c).
4. Replace bolts(a) and tighten firmly.
Please ensure brakes are firmly screwed to the skates before use.

1Year Limited Warranty
Subject to the following limitations, terms and
conditions, Skorpion Sports Ltd (“Company”)
warrants to the original owner of each new pair
of Skorpion™ Skates that they are new and free
of defective materials and workmanship. This
warranty shall expire one-year from the date of
the original purchase from the Company or an
Authorized Retailer or Distributor and is
conditioned upon the skates being operated
under normal conditions and use, and properly
maintained in accordance with the Company’s
owner’s manual, supplied with each pair of skates.

on the skorpion.com website.
If any component should break due to faulty
materials or workmanship, or if the skates fail
to function properly during the warranty period,
Skorpion Sports Ltd. will, without charge to the
consumer, repair or replace any product or
component or part thereof that is defective or
becomes defective during normal use within
one-year after the date of purchase from
Skorpion.com or an Authorized Retailer or
Distributor, subject to the conditions of the
warranty. Skorpion Sports Ltd. reserves the option
to replace the product with a new or refurbished
product.
Conditions of Warranty
The limited warranty is made only to the original
owner of the new skates purchased from the
Company or an Authorized Retailer or Distributor,
and it shall remain in force only as long as the
original owner retains ownership of the skates
or for one-year from the date of purchase,
whichever comes first. The limited warranty is
not transferable.
In order to exercise your rights under this
warranty, the warranty claim must be presented
during the warranty period to the Company (if
purchased on skorpion.com) or to the authorized
merchant you purchased them from, together
with a receipt, bill of sale or other appropriate
proof of purchase. The original owner shall pay

all delivery or shipping charges connected with
delivery or shipment of the defective
component(s) to the Company or Authorized
Retailers or Distributors.
Under no circumstances does the limited warranty
include the cost of travel, delivery or shipment
to the Company or its Authorized Retailers or
Distributors. Such costs, if any, shall be paid by
the original owner. The Company shall pay the
shipping costs associated with shipment of
replacement or repaired components to the
original owner. The original owner shall be
responsible for any re-assembly if required.
It is the responsibility of the original owner to
ensure that once purchase is received, all parts
included in the factory sealed carton are
accounted for and all function. It is also the
responsibility of the original owner to perform
or provide all reasonable and necessary
maintenance and adjustments to keep the skates
in good working order.
Skorpion Sports Ltd. does not warrant its products
against damage caused by third parties. This
warranty does not cover scratches, cosmetic
blemishes or other normal wear and tear; nor
any claimed defects, malfunctions or failures
that result from abuse, neglect, shipping damage,
damage caused accidentally or deliberately,
exceeding weight limits, improper maintenance,
alteration, collision, crash or misuse or improper
use. The skates have not been designed
engineered, distributed manufactured, or retailed
for uses in trick skating, ramp riding, jumping,
aggressive skating, skating on severe terrain,
skating in severe climates, skating with heavy
loads, commercial activities, use with motors, or
any similar activities; such uses may damage the
skates, can cause serious injury to the skater,
and in all cases will void this warranty. The user
assumes all risk of personal injury relating to the
use of the skates, damage to or failure of the
skate and any such injury, damage or loss if the
skate is altered in any way or if used for stunt-
riding, ramp jumping or similar activities.

Useful Product Life Cycle
Every pair of Skorpion™ Skates has a useful
product life cycle. The length of that useful
product lifecycle will vary with the maintenance
and care received over its useful product life,
and the type and amount of use the Skorpion™
Skates are subject to. The Skorpion™ Skates
Disclaimer
All other remedies, obligations, liabilities, rights, warranties, expressed or implied,
arising from law or otherwise, including but not limited to, any claimed implied
warranty of merchantability, any claimed implied warranty arising from course of
performance, course of dealing or usage of trade, and any claimed implied warranty
of fitness, are disclaimed by Company and waived by the original owner. Skorpion
Sports Ltd. disclaims all warranties for products that are purchased from sellers other
than authorized retailers or distributors.
This warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights. Some states, jurisdictions,
countries, do not allow some or all of the limitations set for herein, or the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If any provision is found
unenforceable, only that provision shall be stricken and all others shall apply. This
limited warranty does provide the original owner with certain legal rights and recourse
and the original owner may possess other rights or recourse, depending on the state,
jurisdiction, country or province. Outside of the United States, local tariffs, taxes or
shipping charges may apply.
THIS IS AN INTEGRATED AND FINAL STATEMENT
OF SKORPION SPORTS LTD. ONE-YEAR LIMITED
WARRANTY. THE COMPANY DOES NOT
AUTHORIZE OR ALLOW FOR ANYONE
INCLUDING ITS AUTHORIZED RETAILERS OR
DISTRIBUTORS, TO EXTEND ANY OTHER
WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NO OTHER
REPRESENTATION AND NO STATEMENT OF
ANYONE BUT THE COMPANY, INCLUDING A
DEMONSTRATION OF ANY KIND BY ANYONE,
SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY REGARDING
SKORPION™ SKATES. ALL OF THE REMEDIES
AVAILABLE TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER ARE
STATED HEREIN.

WARRANTY SHALL BE NO GREATER
THAN THE AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL
PURCHASE PRICE AND IN NO EVENT
SHALL SKORPION SPORTS LTD BE
LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
