Operating Manual

Introduction
Thank you for buying a XM-01Automatic Electronic Blood Pressure Monitor
. This device is an innovative networking product and must be used with a smart phone or a tablet
PC display terminal. Over the network you can check all the previous measured data.
This product needs to be used with an app, which supports Android 4.0 and IOS 6.0 and higher
versions. The app can be downloaded from: www.tcxy.com.cn.
Before using this device, please read the manual carefully and pay attention to all the instructions
so as to use the product correctly.
For detailed information about the blood pressure readings obtained with this device, please
consult a professional doctor.

Purposes of the Product
The XM-01Automatic Electronic Blood Pressure Monitor is used to measure adults' systolic
pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse rate with the oscillometric method, and the data it
produces are only an aid to diagnosis.

Instructions
1. To facilitate comparison blood pressure should be measured at the same time each day.
2. This device is suitable for measuring adults' systolic pressure, diastolic pressure and pulse rate
with the oscillometric method, and the data it produces are only an aid to diagnosis.
3. Newborns, pregnant women and sufferers from aura epilepsy should not use this
sphygmomanometer.
4. Before each measurement remain at rest for 15 minutes. If the device is used to measure the
same person repeatedly, preserve an interval of 5 minutes between each measurement.
5. Do not eat, smoke, drink or undertake any vigorous activity for 30 minutes before measurement.
6. When measuring it with your body relaxed and at rest. Keep your hand as level as possible, with

your palm up and wristband and heart at the same height. Remain relaxed and breathe gently.
7. Take care that the wristband is attached correctly. Bare your wrist and do not wrap the wristband
round too tight.
8. Patients with serious blood circulation disorders or blood diseases should use the device under
the direction of a doctor.
9. In the event of common arrhythmia (e.g. atrial premature beats, ventricular premature beats,
atrial fibrillation etc.) the measurements may not be correct or blood pressure may not be
measurable. In such cases do not use the device to measure your blood pressure.
10. Measurements you make yourself are only for personal reference, and should not replace
medical examination. You can consult your doctor about the measured data, but you should not
use them as the basis for any medical decision.
11. Do not dismantle, repair or change the sphygmomanometer's main body or wristband, otherwise
the results may be affected.
12. This device is only suitable for the purposes specified in the operating manual, and the
manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by violating regulations or misusing the
device.

Caution
1. When the air pocket is pressurized excessively, it may cause damage to your arm. If this
situation occurs, loosen the wristband immediately.
2. Overcharging for a long time may result in damage to the hardware and batteries. Power
off promptly when charging is complete.

during normal operation is minimized.

1.Sleep
After the device has been started or connected with Bluetooth, if there is no other operation for 3
minutes it will automatically go into "sleep" mode. In "sleep" mode no bluetooth connection is possible,
no functions work and all indicator lamps go out. You must press the "power" button to wake up the
device, and it does not work normally until the "bluetooth indicator lamp" turns red.
2.Forced Termination and Wakeup
When the device is measuring, press the "power" button to force an end to the measurement. When
the device enters "sleep" mode, pressing the "power" button wakes it up.

3.Bluetooth
If the bluetooth indicator lamp is red, this means that bluetooth is not connected; green means that it is
connected.
4.Pulse indicator lamp
In the process of measuring blood pressure, if the heartbeat is detected, the three "indicator lamp
pulse measurement indicator lamps" on the device's obverse side will go on in turn from bottom to top
and then go out successively. The representation of one heartbeat is then complete. The indicator
lamps only light up when the heartbeat is detected in the process of taking a pulse reading. Otherwise
they will be off all the time.
5.Charging
This device has its own Micro-USB charging port, and you can use phone chargers or data lines with
the same interface to charge it. If the device shows "Low Battery", please charge it immediately.
During charging the "charging indicator lamp" will go on; once the charge is complete, the indicator
lamp will go out.
Preparations for Measurement
Installing app software on the display terminal
The XM-01 electronic sphygmomanometer supports Android and IOS app software. Before using the
sphygmomanometer, please ensure the following items are in order.
1) The Health cloud application software has been installed on the display terminal of the mobile
phone or tablet PC. If it is not installed, please log in to the official website www.tcxy.com.cn to
download and install it.
2) The mobile phone or tablet PC display terminal can connect to the Internet (WIFI and 3G are
OK).
3) Bluetooth on the display terminal has been opened.
4) The software is suitable for Android version 4.0 and higher and IOS version 6.0 and higher. If the
system software version is earlier than this, first update the system software.
5) The sphygmomanometer device is switched on and Bluetooth has been opened.

Please wear the wristband correctly as shown in the following
figure
1. Keeping your palm and the sphygmomanometer’s obverse side facing upwards, wrap the wristband
about 5 to 10 mm from your left wrist joint (about the width of one little finger).Keep your wrist and
heart as close to the same height as possible (see Figure 2).

2. Roll up your sleeve. The wristband should be tight on your skin and not around your clothes. Grasp
the end of the wristband, and while pulling it wrap it around your wrist keeping it tight. Do not leave
any space between the wristband and your wrist (see Figure 3).

3．The trailing end of the wristband should be fixed by folding it back properly (see Figure 4).

Measurement of Blood Pressure
1. Open the software
Please click the “ Health cloud ”installed on your mobile phone or tablet PC to bring up the
app interface.
2. User registration
When users first use the "Xiaoyun Health" software, they need to enter their mobile phone
number, receive a verification code by text message, and then enter the verification code and
click "OK" to register (see Figure 5). After the registration is completed, the software will
automatically go to its main screen (as shown in Figure 6).

3. Editing the user information
Click the user icon at the top left corner of the main screen (Figure 6) to enter the user information
screen. There you can modify the user's icon, name, age, gender, height and weight, and save
them by clicking "Save" (see Figure 7).

4. Blood Pressure Measurement
Click the "Blood pressure measurement" button on the homepage to enter the “start measuring”
screen(seeFigure 8). The software will automatically search for Xiaoyun smart
sphygmomanometers in the vicinity ofthe user, and will connect to one after the search. Please
be patient because the first connection generally takes 5 to 10 seconds.

After the "Xiaoyun Health" software has found a Xiaoyun smart sphygmomanometer, it will connect
automatically via Bluetooth. Successful connection is as shown in Figure 9. Click the "Start" button to
enter the measurement zone.

Click the "Start" button as shown in Figure 9 to start blood pressure measurement. After the
measurement, data transmission will start automatically, and when the transmission is completed the
measuring process ends. Screens will appear in turn as follows: Figure 10, Figure 11, Figure 12,
Figure 13, and Figure 14.

5．Historical Data Check
Click "Historical Data" on the main screen as shown in Figure 6 to enter the historical records
screen. There users can check their historical measurement records. The data are listed in order
of time (see Figure 15). Swipe the screen to the left to check earlier historical data.

Click the "Health Trends" button in the top right corner of Figure 15 to check the user's
health index curves (see Figure 16).
Click the "Other Indexes" button in the top right corner (see Figure 16) to check out trend charts
for other measured data (see Figure 17).

6．Switch user

Click the "Switch User" button in the top right corner of the main screen as shown in Figure 6 to
enter the switch users screen. Click another user in the user list to complete the switch. By
pressing a user item you want to delete, swiping to the left and then clicking the "Delete" button
you can delete this user information. Click the "Edit" button to enter the editing screen for this
user information (see Figure 18 and Figure 19).

Click the "Add User" button at the top right corner to add a new user account (see Figure 20).

Tips for Product Storage and Maintenance
Tips for Product Storage and Maintenance
This sphygmomanometer contains precise electronic components, so it should be used
correctly and carefully to ensure its accuracy and preserve its working life.
Avoid external shocks, damp, pollution, corrosion, extreme temperature fluctuations or prolonged
exposure to sunlight.
Avoid dropping the device.
Do not use the sphygmomanometer in the vicinity of magnetic fields, and keep it away from radio
equipment or mobile phones.
Do not use water, alcohol, benzene or other diluting agents to wipe the product's casing.
Only the original wristband should be used, and the wristband should not be changed by the user.
On no account immerse the device in liquid.
Maintenance Procedures
If the product has not been used for a long time, when you start it again check whether there is
enough power. If there is not charge the device soon.
If smudges appear on the casing, wipe with a clean cloth.
Store in the following conditions: temperature -20oC- +50oC, R.H.15%-90%
Roll up the wristband naturally when you are not using the product. Take care not to roll it too
tightly to avoid damaging it during a long period of disuse.

Other Faults
If the product does not work normally, first check whether there is enough power, whether
Bluetooth is connected and whether the wristband is properly fastened. If none of these apply see
"Reset".
Reset: if the device behaves oddly and no solution can be found, Insert a fine needle into
the small hole on the right of the power button (not the wide hole on its left) to reset the
device.
